Opposite the bus station, the city center, convenient transportation. The equivalent of the level of the business hotel hotel in the domestic hotel group, the breakfast is a standard English breakfast is very suitable for my taste.

The location is very good, but the bed is a bit small, it should be 90cm, but the service is very good, you can add breakfast, the waiter accent in the hotel lobby is a bit heavy.

We stayed here after our wedding for 3 nights and it was lovely! Amazig service from all of the staff we didnt want to leave the hotel bar!! Its also very central and we were able to explore the city very easily on foot. Hotel was generally quiet although being in the centre you can hear the noise of traffic but it wasnt loud and we were able to sleep fine everynight, air con is really good too! Would definitely book again, maybe for a few more nights!

We had a pleasant overnight stay at the Fitzwilliam Hotel Belfast. Check was smooth and we had access to our room before the check in time. Had a drink in the bar then out into Belfast for dinner and a concert. We got back to the room and ordered room service; this was the only disappointment during our stay. They menu was extremely limited; we ordered the pizza which poor, visually and taste wise. We ordered breakfast to the room the following morning. It was excellent.

First, the no-front desk touch screen check-in was beyond brutal. You have to type in EVERYTHING (and what they want is WAY over the top) one letter/# at a time w/your finger-whole process took me about 20 mins. Ridiculous. I think management realizes that-hence why they have a mini-fridge stocked w/gratis microbrews just inside the entry to keep guests from blowing their lids. My room was far, far away from any possible noise from the bar on the 2nd floor. Room, bed & bathroom were huge, modern & well appointed. Very quiet. Only issue was the fact that the wifi, like pretty much all of the other 7 properties I stayed at during my 3 weeks in the UK, was pretty pokey-around 10 mbps which barely allows for streaming youtube. Also, they need to provide mini-fridges. Yes, I know, Brits & most of the rest of Europe have no idea what they are just like that strange type of water called ice. My rating would be 4 stars but in the course of about 2 nights/3 partial days I got way more than a sixer of brews (I have never seen this perk anywhere in the world & I respect it deeply as a former homebrewer) so this add on made it 5 stars stay.

When I read about this hotel, I thought it was a fantastic idea. A no-frills, self-check in hotel in the heart of Belfast for a reasonable price - what could go wrong? We arrived for our weekend stay at 3:20pm, right around peak check-in time. Approaching the hotel, it seemed a 'booking confirmation code' was not sent to us. No problem, we'll ask a member of staff at the bar. We were told ”they don't work for the hotel” and that we'll have to use the phone next to the kiosk provided - no problem! We rang TEN TIMES and not a single answer from their 'check in desk'. Every call from that phone went to Vodafone voicemail. Not a single person at peak check-in on a Saturday? Eventually, after 40 mins, a bar staff member came over, fiddled with a tablet, and checked us in - not a great start. We were offered the highest room in the hotel. Fantastic, beautiful city views - NOT. We arrived at a tiny window (a ship would have a bigger one) and all we could see is the hotel's HVAC system - wafting smoke into our room! With the window closed the room was a literal sauna - our thermometer said 25.6c! We were left a simple box fan, and both nights we barely slept. The decor of the room was minimalist and elegant, but the bathroom, oh the bathroom. I've attached a photo of the toilet. What genius decided to put it 5cm from the door? The sink was so low down you had to crouch to wash your face - it needed another 50cm at least. The fire door leading up to the landing of our floor was also very clearly stiff - you'd need to be a linebacker to carry your suitcase and open it at the same time. It's frustrating because the hotel itself was clean, and cozy, and the bar downstairs was an absolute treat to dine in. Unfortunately, a brilliant idea, let down by poor execution.

A three-day stay here fully made my trip memorable. The hotel and staff more than fulfilled my expectations. From the helpful, warm welcome to the wonderfully spacious room (I’ve never had this without paying a premium for a larger room in a chain hotel) to the open and friendly restaurant staff and cleaning staff… nothing was missing! The quiet room I requested was granted (can’t control the noise guests make unfortunately.) Walking around the area near the hotel has so much to offer without venturing much further. It reminded me of why I so like this part of the world.

This is my fourth stay at Malmaison Belfast. I choose to stay here for its convenience to the city centre, secure parking just across the road in Victoria Shopping centre (they have a discount for this too btw) and the fact it is dog friendly which so few hotels in the city are. Staff are great be it arrival, last drink in the bar or at breakfast. Breakfast is plated and quality is very good - with properly cooked bacon! (a hotel pet hate is undercooked bacon) Thank you Eamonn and the team for doing a great job

Been staying in Hilton in Belfast for couple days, I really liked hotel, lovely staff, nice food , nice rooms, the only thing I really didn’t liked, how rooms is being cleaned during your stay, if you can even say they are clean because seems that staff only empty bins and change towels and that’s it, during 4 days nothing else was cleaned, dusts wasn’t cleaned, bathroom wasn’t washed even thought it was dirty , toothpaste in sink and hairs on the floor, shower glass dirty, bathroom dirty , staff that supposed to clean it but just left it like that, didn’t even hoovered bathroom floors. I never been in hotel with such a bad housekeeping. This is really a shame because everything else about hotel I really loved.

What a special place close to the city and only a short walk to some lovely Belfast bars, a touch of class in a great location, we enjoyed lunch and breakfast both were fantastic our whole stay exceeded our expectations! Pablo in reception checked us in and out and couldn’t have been more helpful, all the staff are extremely friendly and hardworking our room was spotlessly clean and had an amazing view of the city with the giant windows, we will definitely be back!

Very disappointed with the horrible customer service received at this hotel. Firstly you can’t charge nothing to your room without a card being presented at check in! So far nothing extremely awkward as I travel around the world and with the exception of the hotel chains that I have membership, inhame been asked before to present a credit card to be inserted in the hotel system as a guarantee. The awkwardness start when the receptionist start asking how much you want to put in ?? It seemed more to be on a top up shop than in a hotel! So as I am staying just a couple of nights (already payed for) and being caught by surprise I asked for a 100£ credit to the room, payment went trough etc, got to the bar and was told that I had to pay there for the drinks to which I responded that I had just put a credit in and for the bartender to verify, “computer says nooo” like type of answer, he then called reception, followed by same type of operation with computer still saying nooo. A girl who seemed to be the bar manager, absolutely didn’t bother to come and get involved in order to excuse the hotel for whatever mistake was happening, I ended up paying for the drinks with my card even with a credit of 100£ Worse than this: Breakfast today, received by the restaurant manager who requested my room number, with little to no sympathy at all with a shut face very poor wording took note of room Nr and asked me to wait at the bar area as she needed to prepare a table for me, which was fine. Minutes later a young waitress came and call me for a table already settled. She inform me of the buffet and I request a menu as I’ve dietary demands and knew what I wanted actually. I stated that i wanted to poached eggs on brown bread toast with either smoked salmon or avocado or even a bit of salad. The girl asked me to wait a bit and went to the restaurant manager to ask. I was flabbergasted by the answer of the terrible, horrible and rude creature that is breakfast room manager at this hotel. “ my manger says that we would do the 2 poached eggs, but we don’t have salmon, avocado nor salad” ??? You can do your own toast at the buffet Which I did of course alternative was going and eat out! Coffee machine broken, but mysteriously repair itself after a lot of customers complaint (specially because everyone could see another operational coffee machine at the bar. I think they’re understaffed as I could see the bartender from last night which I saw closing the bar at 23h40, and was there already today at 8h30am ? Staff must be shattered with workload but, they either choose to move (there’s a lot of job offer in the sector) or they take the risk of being frustrated and being rude with customers who keep the hotel running. This besides my colleagues in upper floors being abruptly waked up at 6ish am with construction work on the roof, and when called reception were told “yeah it’s some repairs in the roof and we don’t know until when it’d last” Unbelievable!!! On a positive no

It is located in the city center, not far from the town hall, and easy to walk to the central railway station. The hotel’s 2nd floor swimming pool and health room are free for guests, as well as discounts for local students and residents. Very human. There is also a sauna, steaming is rarely comfortable. The room is very spacious, but unfortunately there is no refrigerator. Estimated to be environmentally friendly! Provide shower gel, shampoo and soap. Slippers, toothbrushes, toothpaste are not available.

Arrived in a taxi from the airport and Checked in around 3pm. The reception staff were very alert to guest arriving from the front door. Jennifer at reception checked me in very efficiently, advised me of the breakfast times and asked if I would like to book a slot. Shortly afterwards gave me an information sheet and I was off to my room. The Room I was in was the standard king with city view. The room was bigger than expected. It had everything you need. A king bed, a large tv, enough space to put my belongings, a spacious 3 piece toilet with amenities and floor to ceiling windows which had view as far as the hills beyond. We had dinner that night at the hotel restaurant called Novelli at city quays. A separate review is on their trip advisor page. That night we ended up in the bar after going out exploring. I decided to have some gin and asked what they recommended. One of the nice bartender advised the short cross gin which I never tried and is now becoming one of my favourites. Am sorry I never caught your name. But Paul who was also working that night rang it through the till should know who you are. Paul was great too, he was kept very busy that night. Everyone was great. Special mention to Mary who remembered what I drank when I asked for another. Morning came and so did breakfast. There was a large variety of hot and cold food. From sausages, bacon and eggs, to toast, cheese and ham. Also plenty of tea, coffee and juices to choose from. Next time I come back I will make sure I book an upgraded room with a view of the river. Overall a fantastic night that couldn’t be faulted. Well recommend.

We did enjoy the stay. It is a good location. But there are a few things.. You have to pay to park across the road. There’s an empty parking lot right beside the hotel but I don’t know why you’re not allowed use it. The charge is 22 euro a day but you get a 50% discount. It means though that you cannot take your car out as it’s a multi story type and you’ll be charged again! Also it’s quite pricey for things. The restaurant has lovely food but is quite slow. We were also charged 8 pounds for a baby bowl of mash and veggies.. which I thought was crazy. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The room wasn’t very clean. When the kids were asleep I turned on the phone light and it showed lots of stains particularly on the walls of the bathroom. I also had to clean the toilet on arrival. It had a visible stain on the toilet lid. It’s very secure and required almost three keycard swipes to get into the room at various places.

We stayed here for the weekend of our wedding anniversary and it was a lovely hotel. From the minute we set foot at reception, we found the staff to be efficient and friendly. The hotel has a nice bar area too and its about a 2 minute walk from all the attractions of the cathedral quarter. The standard room was great. It was Clean, modern and quiet. All the usual hotel things like tv, en-suite (which again was clean and the shower was great). Our room was at the back of the hotel and while not a fantastic view, it was nice to see the H&W cranes in the distance and despite a busy road outside and a railway line, the noise was minimal. Breakfast was nice although the only option for the eggs were scrambled, however im sure if I'd asked they'd have done me a poached or fried egg. Its a buffet style breakfast and if I have only one criticism, its that it wasnt topped up as well as it could be. The staples like bacon etc were topped up, but pastries and the continental selection were kind of sp**** and not topped up each morning we were there. That aside, there was plenty to eat and drink and a nice touch is the takeout cups. It meant I could take a coffee on my travels which is great and saves a few quid from the coffee shops etc. I look forward to returning to the Ramada again as it was a lovely experience. Thank you also for the voucher for a glass of wine free for my wife and I because it was our anniversary. That was a lovely touch.

Stayed at this hotel for 3days/nights whilst on a coach tour and no complaints. Rooms were clean and were adequate for our needs and if I have a small criticism it would be that the room was fairly warm with no air conditioning. After hours it was quite quiet. Meals were in a buffet style and the food was very good inded with the dining room staff very helpful & friendly. The location of the hotel is excellent and in a couple of minutes of walking you are in Belfast City centre and its an even shorter distance to some lively pubs. All in all a decent stay.

Stayed here in March, 2023, and could not fault anything whatsoever. The hotel is in a very central location, within easy walking distance of all the main tourist attractions. Rooms were large and well maintained and the breakfast buffet offered a wide choice. Whilst often the hot elements of hotel buffets are served warm/lukewarm at best, here the hot buffet was served very hot and the quality of the ingredients was excellent. Final word must be regarding the staff. All the staff we interacted with, from the booking team through to the front desk staff, were absolutely first class and they could not do enough to assist you, from our need to change the dates of our booking due to a cancelled flight, right through to arranging a taxi back to the airport for us. All the staff were a real credit to the company and give an excellent impression, from a customer service perspective.

As my heading says, another great stay.. Having stayed here on a number of previous occasions, we simply can't fault this hotel.. Staff are very pleasant, caring, and very professional.. The smile as you arrive at check in, & the ” yes sir, what can I get you..?” At the bar.. You're so welcomed here... The room was immaculately clean and comfortable bed.. If you need a taxi, just ask a member of staff and it's ordered for you.. The hotel is a few mins slow walk to the bars and restaurants of that part of the city.. And it took us around 10mins to walk to St George's Market.. Bus station is just 4mins walk away.... Thank you to all staff..

A nice place to stay in when we visited belfast and causeway of northern. It is closed to the Belfast city hall and Europa buscenter which is very convenient to visit around. The room is clean and the staffs are friendly.

The hotel is in a good location, very close to the bus station and the city hall. You can even walk to the big fish statue. Considering transportation, it is a good choice.
