|0.05km from city centerGood Hostel for a few nights, it was my first time staying at a hostel in a dorm w others. The beds are very comfortable und you really have your orivacy, which I loved. I didnt know that you have to bring your own towels so I bought one, I dont know if they provide them I did not ask. Also I did not find any lockers but I did not ask bc I didnt had a lot of stuff and I was out most of the time. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Location is great just a 5 Min walk from O'connell St. Didnt check out the dining or game room nor the garden. My room was on 3rd floor and the shower and bathroom on the 2nd, but that didnt brother me. The shower and the room were very clean and not busy at all while I was there. WiFi worked fine and the beds are soooo comfy would stay there again but only for a few days, if I be in Dublin for a week or long er I would choose a hotel but that is just me because I am not the hostel type. If you are you will love it

|3.78km from city centerTom and Sally Ann were very kind and generous! They made sure I was familiar with the bus routes and knew how to get around. The rooms are clean and the perfect size for a solo traveler. Homemade breakfast and a nice chat with the host each morning was the cherry on top of a great visit. And at a great price too!

|2.93km from city centerThe best staff ever in the history of hotels! I stayed 2 nights, I’m partially disabled and use a wheelchair and crutches. The staff looked after me superbly! Whilst my room, public areas and breakfast were all wonderful, it’s the people who made my stay so enjoyable! So that’s what I want to base my review on. I have a great deal of experience staying in hotels, both for business and pleasure. I have stayed in some of the world’s top hotels and for the customer experience, your staff beat everyone! Seriously! Nothing was too much trouble, I needed extra assistance sometimes and someone was there to help before I even knew it! I went to Dublin for the Rammstein concert at the RDS, so the hotel was super busy, however this didn’t prevent the staff from going over and above when it came to the customer experience. I was treated like a Queen from the moment I checked in, until I checked out! If I need to visit Dublin again, I will be back at this hotel! I recommend it 💯!

|0.61km from city centerWhile the weather in Dublin was not the best as a major storm hit during our stay, the Gardiner Lodge was a sparkling oasis for us. The room was outstanding and opulent. I booked what was called Luke's Room on the first floor and it had lovely antique furniture, was spacious and quiet. The windows were 10 feet high! The staff was totally professional while friendly and helpful. The breakfast was serviced by the most kind staff with a full array of fruit, yogurts and made to order breakfast. It is as you read, in a more industrial on the north side of the river a couple of blocks but we had our laundry done around the corner and also had a couple of great meals within a block or two. Lovely place to stay.

|4km from city centerMy experience at Donnybrook Hall was wonderful! My double room was more than adequate with an updated private bathroom. Enough hangers in wardrobe for my 8 night stay. Comfy bed, warm room (with the nice option to crack open a window) for my December stay. TV also included music channels, which was nice, Coffee/tea/biscuit/choc croissant in room daily. The staff was hospitable from checkin to my departure, Encountered a friendly face to ask about needing help every morning and night. Daily housekeeping was reliable and trustworthy. Defiantly a family operation! The neighborhood is great. There is a row of shops that include an upscale market, a bakery/coffee shop, Tesco, a pub with a restaurant and another restaurant. A fast food place serving really good fish and chips is open late along with another fast food place. There is a bus stop near the hotel, city center is about a 20 min ride by bus. I used taxis (easy pickup area in front of hotel) and safely walked into town many times. A taxi to temple bar was about 15-20 euros, a 50 min walk. This is a good option for a nice, quiet stay. A great value for the room and resourcefulness of the staff. Would defiantly recommend and revisit Donnybrook Hall!

|2.46km from city centerThis really is an absolute gem of a hotel. We were given such a warm and friendly welcome. The hotel is spotless and beautifully decorated. Our room was a standard room but the furnishings and complementary goods gave it a luxury feel. The bed was super comfortable with soft linens and huge fluffy pillows. The hotel had thought of everything including umbrellas to borrow for the typical Irish weather. We were able to easily walk into the heart of Temple Bar. The breakfast served was unbelievably delicious and lots of it! All freshly cooked from a vast menu. This is a family run hotel and the personal flare really shows. Can’t wait to return!

|3.06km from city centerExcellent hotel, great service and only 5 minutes walk to Landsdowne station that you can reach city centre within 15 minutes. The room is very nice and you can enjoy free coffee and tea, playing board game in the evening. The honourable system for whiskey bar is bdonus and the complimentary breakfast is very delicious. One thing I have to mention is that no air conditioning for the room but it's not bothering me in Dublin's weather.

|3.83km from city centerI recently had the pleasure of staying at Premier Suites Ballsbridge, and it was an outstanding experience. The location is ideal, situated in the charming and upscale Ballsbridge area, offering easy access to Dublin's city centre and various attractions. The suite itself was impeccably clean, spacious, and well-appointed with modern amenities that made my stay extremely comfortable.
The staff were exceptionally friendly and attentive, ensuring that all my needs were met promptly. The fully equipped kitchen in the suite was a fantastic feature, allowing for convenient self-catering. Additionally, the surrounding area is filled with delightful cafes, restaurants, and shops, making it a perfect base for exploring Dublin.
Overall, Premier Suites Ballsbridge exceeded my expectations in every way, and I would highly recommend it to anyone seeking a luxurious and convenient stay in Dublin.

|1.88km from city centerMy flight was delayed and I tried to notify the property that I would be arriving after the reception closing time (6pm). The phone number provided on the booking was wrong, the one on their website was a call center and no one answered, and I didn't get any email instructions from them. I arrived at midnight and ... SURPRISE: I was locked out! Luckily I met by chance a girl who was staying there and was coming back so she let me in to stay warm. I keep calling unanswered for at least another hour. In the end I settled on the sofa in the living room to sleep without blankets, but it was always better than sleeping on the street or having to look for a new structure in the middle of the night. The next day they admitted the phone number was wrong, apologized and eventually gave me the room I had paid for. They provided proof that they sent the instruction email, but I never received it (I had checked even if it was in spam, and nothing), otherwise I would have slept on the sofa because I felt like it ??? On the same day, the same thing happened to a guy like me who didn't receive any emails they say they sent. Maybe they were having problems with their systems that day? Yet no, it is our fault because ... Final surprise ... Although they admitted that the phone number was wrong, they did not want to refund me the night I paid for and for which I did not receive the service purchased, also risking having to sleep out or spend more money on a new accommodation. Fortunately, hotels.com provided me with a small discount coupon. Thanks Hostel.com! You, on the other hand, are real dishonest thieves, keep those 36 euros well!

|0.15km from city centerMyself & two friends checked in to a triple room (Room 7) on Friday 24th February 2023. The hotel room was dirty. The towels had “stains” on them and was not very clean at all. The bed mattresses had marks and stains on there and it felt very unclean. The room was unhygienic and extremely dusty. This reflects on your previous reviews from Trip Advisor. The window is rotting away and dirty, and in the morning, it was wet with condensation and the room made all our clothes and bedding feel damp and cold. On Saturday morning, there was no running water. When we spoke to someone at the hotel, they said it would be fixed that day. It was not. We spoke to someone again and they said the water would take time to come up to the room? We had no running water. Please be advised that one of the guests in the room is Disabled. He has a bowel condition meaning that he has to change his external stoma every day. Being unable to hygienically wash was a challenge and could have caused infection or serious health concerns. We could not use taps to brush teeth, we could not shower, and most importantly, we could NOT flush the toilet chain. Meaning our facilities were redundant. We did not pay 400 euros, to stay in a hostel. This is what it felt like. We were told to shower in a “communal” shower downstairs on the first floor. That was absolutely disgusting. Unclean and unhygienic and the water trickled out of the head of the shower, which effectively means we did not feel clean once we “Showered”. We addressed this again on Sunday to a lady on reception and nothing was done about it. When we checked out on Monday, we spoke to a man on the reception desk who did not really take me very seriously. I explained the issues and he just stood there and smiled and didn’t even apologise or offer any refund for these issues. We did not pay 400 euros to stay in a hotel with a shared shower. This is not advertised as a shared bathroom and a hostel. It is advertised as a B&B. Yes, a B&B that cannot meet basic Health and safety regulations. I told him I would escalate to **********. I spoke to them today, and they advised they contacted the hotel, and they would call me regarding this, which they have not done. I am very disappointed that we paid hard earned money to stay at your hotel, yet the basic minimum requirements were not met of: Cleanliness Hygiene Running water Clean bedding and towels We have written for a refund. If not, we may take action.

|0.1km from city centerThe hotel is an old-fashioned house renovation, there is no elevator, but it is convenient to go upstairs by yourself. The hospitality at the front desk of the hotel is the most comfortable thing. The room facilities have everything, if compared with other hotels, the price is very good, but the weekend price is still very expensive.

|1.09km from city centerDownstairs is the reason for the bar street, a bit noisy. There is no air conditioning in the apartment, closing the window will reduce the noise, but it will suffocate. The apartment is a bit far from the front desk where the keys are taken, and it is about 15 minutes. The apartment is located in a pedestrian street with a lot of small stone bricks on the road and the suitcase is a little hard to pull. There are many supermarkets and restaurants nearby, so it is very convenient whether you want to cook or go out to eat. The kitchen is fully equipped, there is no rag, so in order to keep the kitchen clean, I have consumed a lot of paper towels.

|1.08km from city centerThe apartment is located right next to the River Liffey and it is convenient to go anywhere. In order to experience local life, we choose to buy and cook. The apartment’s kitchen utensils are full, cooking is convenient, and the supermarkets around the apartment can buy ingredients. Eat very well! Beef and mutton are cheap and fresh, especially milk, cheaper than water, especially good! It is a pity that I forgot to take pictures when I first entered the apartment door. After that, I didn’t take pictures any more. We are four people, two bedrooms, two living room sofa beds, one room and one room is slightly crowded, but it is okay. Very good stay experience. If you are willing to cook for yourself, you can choose an apartment.

|1.18km from city centerLiving on campus is an apartment. excellent service. Even if we arrive at night, there is service as well. However, because it is a student apartment, we must respect the living habits of the students next door. For example, I think that the kitchen next door is allocated to our room, and the kitchen kettle is taken back to the room. As a result, the kitchen was allocated to the entire floor, and the white neighbors said. Ctrip's introduction should also be clearly written, such as a one-bedroom, one-bedroom suite, in fact, the hall is shared. If you don't understand it, it will cause unnecessary trouble. The bathroom is small, the smallest bathroom I have ever seen, just enough for me to stand alone, smaller than the pigeon cage room I used to see in Hong Kong.

|0.54km from city centerBooked here as just needed a base for the night and this was within walking distance to the city centre. We arrived early and they let us put our bags in the luggage room which was locked and secure. We then headed out for the day and came to check in about half 6. The check in process with smooth and the friendly guy on reception told us were our room was.. we then headed to our room on the first floor upon opening the door we was pleasantly surprised after reading the reviews. The bed was fantastic and ended up having a brilliant sleep. The bathroom wasn't the biggest however did the job. The shower door was abit loose and the water took a while to get hot. We had a tv and tea and coffee facilities in the room which we didn't use. There didn't seem a facility to amend the heating however but we were hardly in the room as was out most of the evening.. You could hear the noise outside the next morning on the street as the windows arent the best and really thin. For the price you pay i think this needs quite a big upgrade. Personally I wouldn't stay again.

|1.34km from city centerI stayed in a 4 bed mixed dormitory. Beds were very clean, and there waa enough space to store my travel belongings. There was no noise from other rooms, and the shower and toilet inside the room was clean and functional too. 15 to 20 minute walk to Temple Bar, another 10 minute from Temple Bar to Trinity Collegr. Had no problem walking from the accomodation to other points of interests in Dublin. Overall, a great value for travellers. Tip: Do reserve breakfast. The bread is warm if you go in the opening hour, and you can eat enough to last for both breakfast AND lunch while walking all day. Save the lunch budget for better dinner.

|3.02km from city centerA beautiful Dublin townhouse in leafy Ballsbridge. Only a 2 minute walk to Landsdowne road to the Aviva Stadium and the Dart rail service. A 5 minute walk both ways to some lovely restaurants, cafes and bars so an ideal location. I stayed here because I had a Visa appointment at the US embassy which is also only a 5 minute stroll from the hotel door.
The room was clean and very spacious, high ceilings and large windows. Microwave and fridge in the lounge which came in very handy as we had brought our own breakfast. Would stay here again in a heartbeat.
Only negative was one of the curtains in the bedroom seemed to have come off its rail and was half hanging down and could not be fixed because the window was too high!! However it just about covered the window to block the street lights so no big deal.
Just to note, check out is 10am which is earlier than other hotels and the cleaners were knocking on the door at 9.55 so it's pretty much on the dot!!

|4.59km from city centerIt was out 1st time visiting Ireland and we wanted to be away from all noise and busy city. The location is amazing, in a quiet neighborhood and beautiful town center. Pat, Ann, Robin, Hope and all the staff were very welcoming and made us feel like we were visiting family. The lodge is in perfect condition super clean and we loved listening to Pat give us history of the home. The breakfast is delicious and a must have! Pat and Ann truly make the lodge feel like home. We enjoyed having conversations with them each morning or on our return back to the lodge. I loved the Irish tea so much and in inquiring on the brand, Pat was so kind to give me a pack to take home. It was my birthday week and it was so sweet to get a suprise cake and more in our room. They all truly made my birthday week feel special. There is so much I can write about the Pat, Ann and the staff at the lodge; you just got to book and stay at the lodge to experience the wonderful and kind environment. Thanks Pat, Ann and the entire staff for a magnificent stay.

|1.38km from city centerI had the 6 bed in one room for 3 nights and I had a very good experience at this hostel. The location is great and prices for Dublin are good and beds are clean and shower warm. Staff was ok. But you need to know what to expect. Don't make your experience in Dublin a 1/5 one. - This hostel is in an old building that will/can never be 100% clean. Germaphobes need not apply - This hostel is next to a cathedral and near the temple bar. So if you are a light sleeper avoid. - There are no elevators or lifts. If you cant walk a few flights of stairs.please avoid. - In this hostel, there seems to be a few guys from the streets. I don't know if they are guests or a charity thing. But they just stay in the common area watching TV. If that worries you don't book. - Right now, some of their shower and bathroom need repair and some of the bathroom are mixed. If that bugs you then please avoid. -This hostel has strict policy on refunds and payment. So ask before booking. Last tip, you might not need a locker, a locker is 3 extra euro a night. But i found the lockable box under my bed was more than enough.

|5.24km from city centerHeading home after 5 weeks abroad, I had one night in Dublin before an early flight to Chicago and then home. My evening flight was delayed by a couple hours, meaning I would arrive at Marie's B&B after midnight. I contacted them and was assured it would be no problem. It was close to the airport, but I was surprised at how quite it was. After a friendly welcome, I was immediately struck by how clean and cozy it was. My room was very tidy and obviously decorated with care. There was a spacious bathroom, large screen tv, supplies to make tea or coffee in the room. It made me wish my flight would get delayed a day so I could stay longer! There's a cozy breakfast room - but unfortunately I didn't have time for much more than tea since my taxi was waiting to take me back to the airport. But I would highly recommend Marie's B&B for anyone looking for a clean, quiet, warm and welcoming place to stay in Dublin!

|0.97km from city centerGROUPS BEWARE of strick/completely unfair cancelation policies. If your flight gets canceled or you are unable to travel, you'll loose ALL the amount paid!!! No credit for next stay, discount, or whatever. You snooze, you loose. As a school, we had booked rooms to accomodate a total of 40 students and teachers, for a whole week. Unfortunatelly we were unable to board our flight and had to pospone the trip to some weeks later from the original date. There simply were no available flights sooner for such a large group in the same airline company. We explained the situation to the hostel but they were simply uncompromising. We did not ask for a refund and were willing to loose some of the money paid for the first nights. All we wanted was that some credit could be directed to the new dates, in order to reduce our losses a bit. We did not expect that the management would be completely unwilling to help, charging us for the whole stay, INCLUDING the meals we did not have. We travel around the world with our students and we look for partners we can rely on, and that are willing to help us, when we are abroad. This was simply not the case, quite the opposite. If you are traveling with a large group, for a long stay, with a quite an expensive bill, check your booking conditions twice, make sure your flight does not get canceled or you'll loose it all.

|2.2km from city centerIf you have the right expectations it is great (there are even signs in rooms that say temper your expectations). The rooms are small, the bed is about 70% of your non-entrance-hallway space. The shower is as big as the rest of the bathroom. But it’s a bed and a place to stay, and it is a super good price. Also, the front desk are very helpful and nice. We asked for another pillow, we got it. We asked if they could call us a cab, they did. It’s also a great location, it’s about a mile from temple bar and trinity so it is easy to walk to everything. Some things to be aware of, not negative just quirks - the bed is in a corner, so if there are two of you, you might have to do some climbing or shuffling to get out. The fan in the bathroom is always on. The light in the bathroom only comes on (when the door moves) and off (inactivity) automatically. There’s not much of a view out the window due to construction but we didn’t have a problem with noise. Overall we had a very good experience and would recommend - just know it is indeed student housing, not a hotel. Our expectations were in the right place and we had a great time.
