Hostel wasn't too bad. Could do with a bit of paint.Tiny ensuite shower/wc not enough for dorm with 12 beds. Kitchen was clean but missing teatowels. Staff friendly and helpful. It's a really dutch house ,that means steep and narrow stairs. Location in a nice part of town, where locals live, has nice and lots of places to eat etc. Enjoyed my stay there

They have nice hospitality. We are offering 1 bedroom only (about 10 square meters) in a centrally located, bright and airy apartment.The room is suited for a maximum of two guests, but if you would like to come with more guests (max 6) i can offer (unless it is already booked) the other 2 room the apartment above.You can choose between 2 singles beds (80x200cm) or 1 double bed (160x200cm).The apartment is located in the city centre, near the "leidseplein" area.You can easily reach all museums, major parks and markets by foot.Please do never feel limited to your room, you can always use the kitchen and its utensils, read some of my books or play a table game in the living room.Beside your room, please feel free to access the toilet.The toilet is used only by you and the host, so apart yourself 1 person more, the host.Not possible to use living room and kitchen (as the local authority requests)I am always available for any questions you have about: the city's attractions, restaurants, going out venues.the apartment it is right in the center in a very alive area, full of bars and restaurant in the night time could be a noisy especially the week endIt is very easy to get around the entire city, Amsterdam it is a small city, you can walk anywhere or if you like to be faster you can rent a bike or public transport.without any doubts the easiest way to move around is by bike. We can now rent also a bike during your stay. It is requested a deposit of 100 euro, which is given back when you return the bike. It cost 10 euro a day per bike, if you like to have 2 bicycles, cost 16 euro a day.No smoking inside the whole apartment area.

I liked the place very much. Nice a**osphere at the bar, clean and very quite in the room and only 15 eur. Get your towel for shower and your own lock to lock your staff otherwise you have to pay which is normal considering the price of the bed. Bed is very comfortable but a bit short. I am 186 and it was not enough.

The transport from Railway Station Centraal with bus #22 takes 20 minutes to the end station Sloterdijk. It cost 1 €. You also can use the train from Centraal to Sloterdijk. From here, there are direct trains to the Amsterdam airport and further to Belgium, France etc. From Sloterdijk you can walk in 15 Minutes to Dutchies hostel. The big advantage is they have a kitchen where you can cook by yourself. There are refrigerators, an oven, a sink for cleaning and all equipment for cooking and eating like plates, kettles, glasses, cups etc.

-taxes were added when we arrived, each night we add to pay 2€ per person plus others taxes not mentioned when we booked. -it was very noisy, all night we could hear slamming doors and people talking from Time to Time. -The bedroom was very big and well equiped (fridge) and the host was nice and handful. For the price it was overall correct.

I had a very pleasant 2 nights stay here. Staffs were friendly and very kind enough to let me change bed. They even offered welcome drinks. How nice! Dorms, toilets and showers were well kept and clean. Adequate storage spaces. Individual curtain for little privacy for each bed. Location wise, it was easy to commute from here to the center and airport and other tourists spots. It was very near to the Artis tram station, just around the corner. There was a nearby Metro station that was within walking distance (for me). I would say it is well connected. Would totally recommend for solo traveller that is looking for a nice hostel to stay. This would be it.

It's a shame that I got bitten by a tick after lying down for a while. I wish the mattress would be vacuumed. No curtains, mixed room for 8 people. One shower and toilet in the room. Bath towels, small lockers, and suitcase storage were free of charge. A cash deposit of 20€ is required at check-in. This will be refunded at check-out.

The cute exterior and interior are impressive! The 24-hour reception was friendly and overall service satisfaction was high. In addition, it is about a 3-minute walk from the station, and it is a flat road without gravel or dirt, so it was very convenient to come and go. Due to my schedule, I checked in late at night and only stayed one night, but I fully intend to visit again the next time I go to Amsterdam. :)

L’auberge de jeunesse est très accueillante, le personnel est top ! Je pense que c’est l’auberge la plus propre et moderne que j’ai pu réserver. Le locker est grand donc très pratique. Par contre il y a une forte odeur de **** dans la chambre, et le lit n’est pas très large. Et c’est à nous de faire notre lit. Pas très pratique surtout après un long voyage et la fatigue on n’a pas envie de faire le lit.

The location is nice. There’s a supermarket nearby and it’s pretty close to the place you take the free ferry to the station. There’s a big common area on ground floor for you to chill and there’s also a bar. The staff is quite nice. I was living in female dorm room, it’s good that they have seperate bathroom and toilet en-suite and also outside of room so that I don’t have to pee myself. The individual bed light is so strong that I feel like I would wake someone up if I keep that light up but I’m gonna be blind soon if I look at my phone in complete dark. I slept well with the bed, except for the first night that a girl packed her stuff whole midnight crazy. (Which is not the hostel’s responsibility) travellers plz keep quiet in midnight, if you wanna make noise, go outside of the room.

Super great hostel! Loved it very much. The location of the hostel is really convenient and you could basically go to major attractions in Amsterdam by walking for a few minutes like the ******************, the Dam square and more importantly the Central station. Though it is a large room that has quite a number of residents, everyone respected each other’s privacy and they did not make loud noises. The receptionists were super nice and helpful and they spoke good English. I would definitely recommend this place to y’all.

It wasn’t the first time I am staying in this location, I find its location very useful and somehow it’s clean enough to stay there for a few days. You have to share Bathrooms and showers 🚿 But both will be very clean, the showers are very slippery, you better be careful there. Sometimes the staff members aren’t as friendly as others, some of them will be very kind and willing to help, while others don’t have the proper attitude.
