An older but functional property with decent value in it's price range.
However there was a bit of an issue at check out as the young male housekeeper came down with one of the rough thread bare towels that was slightly soiled from cleaning myself. I expressed my embarrassment as this became a case of show and tell with the two female front staff. I finally had to demonstrate how I clean myself with charades and finally logical thinking prevailed. I immediately regretted leaving a tip for the housekeeper as I was humiliated by their naive ignorance over such an old well used towel as common sense would dictate that normal washing would remove the dirt.
The wifi was sub par and also could use an upgrade.
Aside from that I would stay again but considering all the other options why would I?From$14

I live in Singapore. I was looking for a hotel with a bathtub because I live in a room with only a shower, and I found a hotel with an open-air bath. The hotel's open-air bath was really nice, and I had the best experience while in Phnom Penh. The only disappointment was that the women-only time was late at night. When I asked the front desk, they told me that the ratio of customers was almost all male, so it was only for men. I protested about that, but in the end the open-air bath was so good that it was fine. There were also many types of breakfast to choose from, and they were all elaborate, so I had a hard time deciding. I chose Japanese food, and the salted mackerel was better than the one I had in Japan. I was also surprised that I could watch Japanese channels on TV. I was able to watch it in real time, so I stayed up late watching it. I was so relaxed that I forgot I was in Phnom Penh.From$39

The hotel is located on Floor 28/29 in The Bridge SOHO Building. Check-In / Check-Out was easy. Next to the hotel are several options to eat, shop and nightlife. Room was big and the view was stunning. I booked a room with river view.
i want to notice that the bathroom smelled like mold. It was also flooded after showering and I have seen cockroaches every now and then.

A lovely traditional Cambodian style hotel. The young staff are friendly and enthusiastic. There’s lots of wooden features and a wildly over cluttered lobby. The laneway leading to the hotel can be a little dodgy and littered with rubbish. Breakfast was served on the rooftop and quite good with plenty of choices. The rooftop pool and restaurant are both lovely and the service and food were appreciated. My room seemed fine but there’s no powerpoint near the bed and the shower set up is weird. Do house staff ever check the batteries in the TV remote? No balcony as stated in the Trip booking. Avoid the over charging Tuk Tuk drivers out front and call a GRAB for better value transportation.From$31

Although staff were lovely the location was not great, it didn't feel very safe and there weren't very many close food options, tourist spots etc, you had to get tuktuks. The first night we were excited to use the beautiful (it really is) rooftop Restaurant and Bar, we picked 5 items, 4 of which were unavailable including a basic glass of red wine, everything else including cocktails we ever ordered in our 3 days was also met with 'we don't have that' it was very unfortunate because it was expensive too...otherwise we would have dined every day and had drinks multiple times a day. Cigarette smoke was smelled in the bathroom often from other rooms, our towels one day were replaced with ones that smelled of stale cigarette smoke, the bell every time a room is entered also got really irritating as we tried to nap during the day or early night. The hotel is located on a very small street filled with street vendors and small local shops…I found it very difficult to find a small shop to buy cigarettes and small snacks and felt a bit nervous walking in this neighborhood at night time. The room looked like the pictures though feels much, much older in real life. I chose a deluxe room with balcony. The clerk ran out of room key cards (???) and so had to give me a physical key. The power won’t work without a room card so they gave me a business card to put in the slot. The room was fine, but I cannot give five or four stars because of two issues: the roaches (in the bathroom, on the floor, and one crawled on me in the night, in bed), and the air conditioner, which blows directly at your face making it hard to sleep. The people were very nice, they even packed breakfast for me for my early check out, but I don’t think I would stay here again.From$25

I recently stayed at Relax Hotel Phonm Pehn, and I can honestly say it was one of the best hotel experiences I’ve ever had! From the moment I arrived, the staff was incredibly welcoming and attentive, making me feel right at home. The room was spotless, spacious, and beautifully decorated, with all the modern amenities you could ask for. The bed was incredibly comfortable, ensuring a great night’s sleep after a long day of exploring. I especially loved the attention to detail in the room – from the luxurious toiletries .
The hotel’s location was perfect, close to all the major attractions but still peaceful enough for a relaxing stay. The facilities of roof top was good I also had the pleasure of dining near the hotel’s restaurant, and the food was absolutely fantastic – fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented.
But what truly made my stay outstanding was the level of customer service. Every staff member I encountered went above and beyond to ensure my stay was perfect, always with a warm smile and a genuine desire to help.

Thank you for upgrading us to a two-bedroom unit, the area is very large, two bedrooms, two living rooms, two bathrooms, an open kitchen and bar. So the equipment is all available, and the cooking tools are also very complete. The most intimate is a washing machine.

Really good hotel - traditional style - was given the incorrect room at first but this was quickly rectified by the front desk. Location is great, right near he river with many interesting sites within easy reach. Loved the balcony but unsure how to regulate the lights. One inconvenience is that you can charge drinks sbd so on to your room at the ground floor pool, but not the rooftop. Not sure why. Overall. A comfortable short stay with the usual facilities and polite helpful staff.From$46

I think it’s a Chinese boss. I feel like I’m still in China in their apartment. It’s all in Chinese. I heard that it’s the first time I lived in their house. The front desk actually upgraded me to an executive suite. Oh, I’m going. The kitchen and all self-service washing machines must be praised! There is a 24h supermarket downstairs, and you can also play golf on the second floor. I went to look for tea when the guests came at noon. I asked the front desk. There is a tea room, which is very convenient. It seems that I can live here when I come back to work.From$64

Hotel was great, the pool is definitely the best feature 😀🏊🏻, my son loved having such a huge pool to swim around in. the bedroom was very spacious clean and comfortable. Our room had an amazing river view, we could see the river cruises lighting up theriver at night. Just beautiful. Breakfast was a wide variety of food, including fruit, soups and eggs to your liking. - The view was good because it was high up
- All the staff were interested and welcoming, so it was a little burdensome, but it felt good.
- The breakfast was great, and the service at the restaurant was great.
- I was grateful for the decoration + birthday cake for my birthday request.
Disappointing points
- It's not 100% open yet, so there aren't many restaurant choices, and the spa isn't open yet
- It was a little noisy when I showered.
- The guest room window curtains are manual, not automatic
- The bathroom is a little small
- The towels are new, so they're a little loose
