|6.48km from city centerThe very location of the White City Hostel, Baku (Azerbaijan in an old mansion, is very convenient, the hostel is a 5-minute walk from the metro station and many transport routes, including from the airport to Heydar Aliyev Airport. Spacious guest rooms, not overloaded with sleeping places, high 4-meter ceilings and unusually wide balconies overlooking the city's perspective are the distinctive features of the White City Hostel. The head of the hostel, organizer and administrator is a positive and professional person Ilkin Zeynalov. He always has everything under control, there are never scandals or any overlaps, everything this person does - he does quickly and easily, despite the fact that the hostel guests come from different countries, he finds a common language with everyone and solves all emerging issues at any time of the day or night. It is impossible not to be imbued with his positive energy! Ilkin himself meets the hostel guests, shows the rooms for accommodation, large and comfortable beds, a shared kitchen, where there is everything necessary for cooking: a stove, saucepans, frying pans, mugs, spoons, forks, etc. There is also a microwave and 2 refrigerators. The hostel has a golden rule: do not make noise from 11:00 PM to 8:00 AM. The night administrator, who receives and accommodates arriving guests of the hostel at night, strictly monitors this and the safety of the hostel. Another rule: drinking alcohol is strictly prohibited and guests strictly follow this rule. All bed linen in the hostel is constantly washed and ironed. Sleeping on such linen is a pleasure. There is a place for ironing clothes for residents of the hostel, cleaning is done daily and, which is important when a certain number of people gather, the premises are disinfected. Two markets, bars, small shops, a wonderful park nearby, the famous noisy and cheerful Nizami street nearby and, of course, the pride of Baku - the Caspian Sea embankment in 10 minutes walk - are the distinctive features of the location of the White City Hostel. Do I recommend you to stay there? - definitely YES! Due to work, I was in the hostel from August 25, 2024 for two months. Liliya Skorobogatko, Moscow, Russian Federation.

|7.73km from city centerWe stayed in 3-Bed Room from 2nd to 8th Sept. 2024. The room was very well decorated and comfortable. The staff at Reception, Restaurant and Hosekeeping were very polite and cooperative. Breakfast had a wide variety of healthy food items to choose. The location was good with XALQ Bank nearby for currency exchange. Overall, our trip was very enjoyable and good hotel stay added to our nice experience. The tariff was also moderate.

|7.7km from city centerMy stay at the Bristol Hotel from 1st Sept to 5th Sept 2023, room No 103, in Baku was an absolute nightmare that stretched over four agonizing nights. Despite its touted central location, this ancient relic of a place doesn't even come close to resembling the ”hotel” it's advertised as online. It's more like a dingy rental hostel with delusions of grandeur. Let's talk about breakfast – a lackluster, uninspired routine that required us to play a waiting game at their absurdly inconvenient hours. And don't even get me started on the absence of room service or the complete absence of drinking water. It's as if they're actively trying to make your stay as miserable as possible. The rooms are laughably non-soundproof, and the pitiful window curtains do nothing to shield you from the relentless onslaught of intrusive light, especially with a blaring nightclub next door. The fact that management couldn't care less about replacing those curtains is infuriating. But wait, there's more! The bathroom lock decided to throw a wrench into my already dreadful experience. I found myself trapped inside the bathroom, envisioning a nightmarish scenario where my partner wasn't in the room to rescue me. Can you imagine being stuck in there for hours, or even days? In all seriousness, I implore you, in the strongest terms possible, to steer clear of this establishment. It's an absolute travesty, and you deserve far better for your stay.

|6.71km from city centerIt's hard to say in a word, except that it's closer to the business office, there's really nothing else to say.
The location is quite good, there is a mall nearby, close to the Caspian Sea beach, and there are two good Chinese restaurants not far away.
But for some reason, the hotel's front desk is on the second floor. The entrance to the first floor is narrow and blocked by a broken board on one side. It feels very bad.
I arrived early on the day of check-in, so I had to wait until noon to check in, but when I opened the door with a card and went in, there was a big brother sleeping soundly on the bed😪, so I had to go back and wait for another hour for cleaning and cleaning, which was embarrassing😳
The breakfast items at the end of the second floor are relatively small, so let's just have some. When I checked out, there was no one at the front desk in the morning, and no one came when I rang the bell. After waiting for a long time, I had to put down my card and leave.
Summer is the peak tourist season. If other hotels were not fully booked and the price was not considered, there is a high probability that I would not stay in this hotel again.

|6.57km from city centerRested with her husband in Baku at the end of June and very glad that the Diplomat hotel was chosen for accommodation. Of course, the first advantage of the hotel is the location in the very heart of the hotel. Near the metro, bus stops, to the Old City, Boulevard and Trade can be reached on foot. In the hotel itself very polite staff, rooms are clean, comfortable - we had a combined with a separate bedroom and work area, in the bathroom there are all the facilities, on request can also provide all necessary. Breakfasts on the 9th floor with views of the city panoramic and sea. The hotel itself has a quiet atmosphere, very comfortable, a lot of shops and cafes next to the hotel.

Baku
|5.23km from city centerIn general, everything is good: a normal breakfast (yes, there is not enough variety if you stay for a long time, but I didn’t have time to experience it in a week), adequate room, wi-fi, excellent staff and price. The room was a little tired (a couple of stains on the carpet, a scratched cabinet), but everything in the bathroom was new + consumables were regularly updated and the main furniture was in excellent condition. The main disadvantage is the location: the bus stops that go from/to the center are close and run frequently, but to get to the stops you have to make your way through parked cars at services, car dealers and tire shops. As a result, I left for OT in the morning and returned by taxi.

|3.67km from city centerIn Baku, when we were on a business trip, we stayed at Divan express hotel, which we preferred with my colleagues due to its reasonable price and central location, between 21.02.2022 - 25.02.22022. Its location is central, walking distance to the Heydar Aliyev museum, and 15-20 minutes' drive to other important locations with taxi. Breakfast is on the terrace floor and not a buffet. Kosebasi Restaurant, located on the lower floor, is a nice alternative for dinner. Due to the metro line passing under the hotel, the sound and vibration of the train can be felt even in the room on the 4th floor.

|6.99km from city centerThe hotel was spacious and clean. The bed was comfortable and the pillows the perfect thickness (I can't stand the over stuffed pillows that make your head lay at a 90 degree angle). The included breakfast had a LOT of options, including gluten free for my mom. The reason I'm only giving it 4 stars in that there was mildew in the bathroom and my parents room wasn't cleaned when we arrived at 11pm. They got an upgrade to a suite...but then they only had one towel in the bathroom. Just little stuff.

|7km from city centerThe Boutique hotel Baku is very close to the bustling Nizami street while being situated in a quiet lane, so that you are away from the noise yet close to the city centre. The master suite was spacious for the three of us and all the amenities were provided. The elevator was a welcome relief compared to a lot of other hotels in Baku. The breakfast buffet was excellent The staff were efficient and did a great job. Highly recommend this hotel The extra bed in the room needs to be of better quality. Hope the management works on this suggestion

|8.42km from city centerWe will forever leave this hotel and the guys who work there!
The excellent manager named Edwin, met us as kindly as possible, told about the most delicious restaurants, what sights to visit and where to exchange money. It is very sad to leave, such hospitality we have not met anywhere yet! On the respiratory work is a very nice guy named Ibrahim, he will meet you as kindly.
The owner of the hotel also paid special attention to us, treated wine and told a lot of interesting, every evening we spent time in the general company and it was very, very cool!
In general, friends, if you are looking for a hotel - definitely choose this place!
We recommend choosing rooms on the second floor, the hotel has a beautiful balcony , the rooms are clean and regular cleaning is underway.

|5.59km from city centerThe people of Azerbaijan are very friendly to the Chinese, and the guy at the front desk here is one of them. Since the flight to Baku was in the morning, I thought I would store my luggage at the hotel first and check in in the afternoon. When we arrived at the hotel, it was just after 7 o'clock in the morning. The guy at the front desk not only checked us in early but also gave us free breakfast for the day, which made us very happy.

|8.29km from city centerThe 180-degree large window overlooks the old city of Baku, and you can see the Flame Tower and Deniz Shopping Center outside the window. Breakfast is eaten at the hotel next door. It is super rich. You can try fruits, breads, snacks, and local food. The hotel staff was very friendly, helped me carry my luggage, looked after my luggage, and made me feel responsive to my needs. Living in the old city, I get up listening to the chirping of birds every day and petting cats in the old city. It is very pleasant😌 There are enough bottled water pipes.
There are also disadvantages, that is, you have to climb the fourth floor! No one helped me on the first day, so it was difficult for me to carry it upstairs alone. I'm on the top floor and the water will be cut off at night. According to the front desk, the water pressure is not enough. Just call the front desk and water will be available within a minute or two. There is no exhaust fan in the bathroom, so you need to open the window for ventilation 😂 The walls are thin, you can hear your neighbors clearly 😂
But I think if you want to sleep at night and go out to play during the day, this location is still very advantageous. Just a few dozen meters away is the subway station icherisheher. It takes 20 to 30 minutes to walk to the small train going to the Flame Towers.

|7.93km from city centerWe booked our accommodation quite late for the Formula 1 weekend and we were able to secure a reasonably priced room at Qiz Qalasi Hotel. It is further into Old City, near Muhammad Mosque, and it gave us a chance to explore so much of the little shops and alleyways in Old City. Walking to the Palace of the Shirvanshahs/Philharmonia Garden, and Nizami Park both take about ten minutes. We were lucky enough to be hosted in one of their new rooms which features traditional designs and tapestry, and a lot of natural light. Echoing other reviewer’s comments, our room was also exceptionally clean and well-equipped (including a good range of toiletries). Water temperature and pressure were also decent. The one thing that would make the room even better is a mirror outside of the bathroom. Big shoutout to our concierge, Murad! He was so hospitable and friendly from the day we made the booking to the evening that we departed. We landed in the early morning hours and departed late. He was happy storing our luggage for us before check-in/after check-out, as well as being flexible with check-out time. He also assisted us with booking both ways of our airport transfer (competitive pricing). The hotel has partnered with another restaurant with amazing view of the Maiden Tower and we received complementary breakfast on our first day as a welcome gift which was extremely generous. Very happy with our stay - I highly recommend staying at Qiz Qalasi Hotel to maximise your experience in Old City!

|6.32km from city centerIt is a nice hotel at the average level. I stayed in this hotel for about 3 days. Employees are very friendly and helpful, they try to help in every matter. The hotel is located in White City, near the center, 25 minutes away from the airport. There is a Big Bravo Supermarket and Subway nearby. The reception is small, the room was big, the cleanliness was average, the bed was for two men, there was a big TV, a sofa, a table. There was no air conditioning in the room I stayed in, the room was at an average temperature, the floor was hot on the floor in the bathroom, it was supposed to have a combi system. Breakfast is extra, not included in the room price. but I didn't eat breakfast, I bought and ate on the street and after shopping at the market, I decided to go to the hotel. It is recommended because the price is cheap in White City. It is an average level hotel.

We were paid by the locals through Booking from their card and at the reception they could not find the payment. Receptionists for the work score two. Zero information and attention.

The room has a refrigerator, a TV (there is a Russian-speaking channel), a safe, an electric teapot. Two bottles of water, tea and coffee, in the bathtub, shampoo, were left every day. Towels changed every day. Cleaning is also daily. On the first day they brought a dish with fruit as a greeting. polite staff speaks Russian and English. A little far from the sea and the embankment, but a taxi to help)). We liked everything, and the city is very beautiful and peculiar. A beautiful attitude to historical buildings.
