Rooms / Beds were fine. Our problem (Room 104) was that after spending the night we found grub worms crawling on our bathroom floor and carpeted room area. We had not noticed them that afternoon / evening. Kind of disgusting. I pointed the problem out to the staff and they were genuinely concerned. They found the problem was an exterior trash can located just outside of our exterior door to our room apparently had food in it that had not been emptied for a while and the grub worms were everywhere underneath and inside of the trash recepticle. Sadly, they found their way into our room. I had rented 4 rooms for our family of 9. We did not have any problems with grub worms, etc in any of the other rooms. Overall the location is a bit isolated although close enough to the Houston Hobby Airport, They DO NOT have shuttle service to or from the airport. It is a smaller property. It was across the street from a Super Walmart so that was convenient if you were shopping for anything.

Best pillows ever and very comfortable bed and room in general. Friendly staff. I requested shuttle to airport for the next day and luckily it was there for someone else because the gentleman at the front desk said the girl I talked to the night before when I arrived forgot to add me to the list. Unbelievable.

Spark Suites Hobby Airport

This hotel exceeded expectations! Newly remodeled suite with bedroom, bathroom, large couch and work area. Quiet, comfortable bed. Free Parking and 24 hour attended front-desk. Be aware: there is not a hotel shuttle but you can take the Avis/ Budget airport shuttle and walk across the street. Breakfast is “grab n go” ; it is not breakfast but given the rate I paid, a fair trade-off. They also hold a $100 deposit on your credit card for 3 to 5 business days. I will definitely return to this hotel.

Convenient location. Friendly staff. Clean room. Comfortable bed. AC works great but noisy if you are a light sleeper. Pictures on hotel VERY MISLEADING. They must have been taken when they opened because a lot of it is not like that now. Room pictures are pretty much accurate but furniture has seen better days. Picture of breakfast is not what you get at all. Picture says ”Assorted Cereal, Fruit, Milk, Breakfast Sandwiches and pancakes, Muffins, Assorted Juices, and coffee. Looks nice. DON'T BELIEVE IT !! What we got was oa**eal, cereal, milk, Juice, coffee, Cup of Noodles, white bread and butter but no jelly, a honeybun, and small snack bag pf chocolate chip cookies. Slush machine ”out of order”. Ice machine does not work. Soooo disappointed as our stay was for 6 days.

SpringHill Suites Houston Hobby Airport

We stayed at this hotel because we needed a place to rest our heads after a flight out of the Hobby airport. So the location was perfect. We used the complimentary airport shuttle which was provided to us without any glitches. The driver was on time and friendly. The clerk was friendly and provided us with what we needed for the night. For the price we paid, and location, this hotel was perfect for what we needed. I think there could have been more options for breakfast but we did not set out to eat much when we got there anyway

The hotel location is very good, in a very downtown place. Opposite gallaria, next to walgreen, shopping and eating are very convenient. Parking is definitely expensive and hotel services are also expensive. This is the US.
The staff was friendly and helpful. The room was clean and everything worked. It seems that for business travel is 2022, this has become the ceiling instead of the floor for expectations. Everywhere is understaffed and doing the best they can with who they have. That said, this was close to a pre-COVID experience. Also, there’s a Hilton Home2Suites next door. I stayed there a few months ago - avoid it at all costs. The HGI has an on-site restaurant with good food. It shares a parking lot with PF Changs.
The hotel has a beautiful environment, convenient transportation, and the surrounding environment is very cozy. The room service is very punctual and thoughtful. The bathroom is very good and clean. The cleaning staff is very meticulous. I will come again in the future.
Just returned from Europe and took a Lyft from George Bush to the Doubletree Hobby. Customer service was over the top, we were recognized as Diamond even received a gorgeous suite upgrade. The breakfast was covered by our breakfast credit, the buffet was wonderful, the wait staff was over the top attentive. The hotel was clean. The shuttle was available and it is a quick trip to Hobby airport. We will return. The cookies are always wonderful. Love Hobby airport, Houston International is awful. Just sayin
Comfortable stay, great room, beautiful view from the room. Location isn't that great Was on a business trip and with out door meetings wasn't able to utilize the hotel facilities. Moving on to the next city now.
Since it is a motel at reasonable prices, I am surprised for comfort, cleaning and care of the rooms. Large and free parking. Educated and friendly staff. Finally USB takes on the comforts to load the smartphone. In a strategic position, I recommend it at 100 percent
Trip. Com has done nothing but inconvenience me. Waste my time. Take my money.... I'm in tears because my very good friend who is like family to me passed away. I came to Houston for funeral and booked through trip.com I will tell everybody I know that this company is horrible and will not provide professional customer service or even compensation after all of the hassle. I will go through anyone else but this company. They need to go out of business. I've never been upset so many times because a booking company took my money and left me in a bind.
I really like this hotel, the breakfast is very rich, the service is very warm, the front too, and the Chinese service, too intimate, the room is big enough, clean enough! I have cleanliness, saying no pressure!
So my sister and I stayed at this location in April 2024. She booked the rooms as she is an Elite member and we got two adjoining King rooms. I got to the hotel and found that it is the type of hotel where the hallway is open so you can see down into the lobby and they have a glass elevator. That is something I should have paid attention to and looked at further pictures of the hotel. I never would have stayed there as I dont like heights. My fault not the hotels. We go to the rooms and they were very nice. Nice modern bathroom, everything seemed clean and comfortable. We put some stuff away and went to have lunch with relatives. While we were away my sister telephoned the hotel, explained the situation on my not wanting to be on that high of a floor and they moved us to the third floor when we got back. That is when things started to change. My tv had the cable unplugged and I could not get it plugged in so they sent someone up right away to fix it. That was fine but my sister's phone was not working and they said they would send someone to repair it and never did. It was incredibly cold so we mentioned it leaving for the evening and they said they would send someone up. When we got back it had gone from incredibly cold to hot and the phone still did not work. I was able to sleep most of the night and we were busy the next day so didnt mention it. Before we left for the day we had the breakfast buffet and we enjoyed it and the female server we had who was very nice and in fact we had her all three days and hated to tell her goodbye. We came back late in the evening to a still hot room but again since they had moved us I thought I could sleep again through the night but I woke up at least twice as it was too hot. The next morning I got up and my sister told me she had ants on her counter. We stopped by the desk on the way out and told them about the heat and the ants. When we returned that evening both rooms had been cooled down however she discovered ants on the bed she had been using . They were gone from the counter and now were in the bed. She went down to the desk and they informed her they could move her to a room around the corner from mine as they had no one to take care of the ant problem that night. She moved her items into the other room and when I went to help her came back to discover that I no longer get into MY room because the keys would not work. I dont know if it was because she had moved her room and her name was on both rooms or what but after going back to he desk not once but twice for new keys with no success they sent an employee up and he fixed my door. This was after my sister's keys didn't work the first day and they had given her a new set which never worked but we didn't bother changing them because my room was connected. The hotel itself was beautiful. The employees were helpful but the things that occurred should never have happened in the first place. I would not have sta
