Amazing customer service from Christina allowing an early check in.
Room clean and tidy and bottles of still/sparkling water in the fridge.
Was slightly loud banging doors about 1-3am from late revellers but nothing too bad.
Breakfast delicious- fresh homemade waffle and omelettes
Drink prices very reasonable priced

Leonardo Royal Hotel Birmingham
The Westside Birmingham | 0.32km from Malt House
Pros: The location is excellent, making it easy to explore the city. The staff were friendly and attentive, and the room was generally nice and comfortable.
Cons: The windows in the room could not be opened. One of the beds seemed to be missing a layer of sheets compared to the other, which was odd and slightly uncomfortable. The mini-fridge was not cold enough, which made it difficult to keep drinks and snacks fresh. Additionally, the air conditioning would shut off by itself periodically, which was inconvenient and affected the overall comfort.
Overall, while there were some positives, there are several areas that need improvement to enhance the guest experience.

Lovely hotel and perfect location
Unfortunately we had a problem with the apartment that we had booked and stumbled across this hotel
The reception was very helpful
We did have an issue with the parking on site but they have a parking place just behind the hotel which for two days only cost £12

A very pleasant stay in a clean room with decent amenities. The bed was comfy and I didn’t hear noise from other guests, it was good to have blackout blinds too. The location was perfect for my conference and walking distance to the city centre (about 15 mins). The breakfast is decent and there are snacks and drinks available as well.
Just like the pictures, checkin was easy and very informative, all the details was given on the day well in advance.
Always had a number to be in contact with whenever I needed.
I thought it was closer to airport. I took a taxi. Yes possible to work but ...
But waling distance to Nec. That yes. It is true.
Food was good. I did not expect but really a ok restaurant.
Service excellence
Room really ok.
Next time I probably.could walk from airport now that I know where it is
Through a park you can reach nec

A very central location, with superb breakfast.
We stayed at the heart of Birmingham city, with designated hotel parking lots at the basement (you have to pay extra for parking but £13 overnight is good enough).
Free coffee and hot chocolate at the lobby.
Room is comfortable and of good size. Interestingly, the bathroom door serves its dual role of both the bathroom’s and the toilet’s door.
Breakfast was fantastic with ingredients to make a full English breakfast (minus the black pudding).
Recommend this place if you want to be close to bustling heart of the city center.

The hotel is centrally located in the city centre about 20 mins walk from the New Street railway station. Just next to Chinatown and the famous open and indoor market in Birmingham. The coach station is just 5 mins walk from the hotel.
The kitchen and all the facilities in the room is good. All the staff are friendly, polite and helpful. My microwave was out of order one day and they replaced it in just 5 mins time. Really excellent and will definitely come back again.
Excellent hotel everything was amazing can't wait to go back. Great location close to train station, shopping centre and theatre. We went to see Hamilton at the theatre and ate at restaurant nearby - hotel recommended a lovely break and stay.

I would stay here again! I loved the location of the hotel. It is right inbetween the city center (New Street Station & Bullring) and the beautiful Brindley Place are by the old canal. The room itself was clean and looked mostly like it was in the picture, I also had a pretty cool view onto the old canal from the 15th floor. The carpet and the couch looked a bit ”worn down”, but it was clean nonetheless. The staff was friendly, nice and very helpful. It was nice that the breakfast was included and there was a good choice of breakfast options. I can 100% recommend this hotel when staying in Birmingham. I had a nice time and didn't miss anything while staying at the Holiday Inn Express.
The average price for hotels in Birmingham is US$167 on weekdays, and US$192 on weekends (Friday-Saturday).
