The room was clean and had a balcony which afforded a lovely view of the city and mountains. It was basic but you could control the room temperature and you even have a bidet. Ha! For the price, it was a good deal. A short walk gives you access to a great deal of shopping, restaurants, and entertainment. However, you can’t drive up to the hotel. It’s in a square, which will require you to walk a few minutes to access it.

Then they ask you for your credit card when you arrive from where you get charged the money from the deposit you have to be very careful that if you don't ask for it back they don't give you the money from the deposit. Then when I made the reservation on the App he wrote that breakfast costs €10 while in the hotel they ask you for €15! As for the beds, they don't have double beds but only two beds pushed together. The floors of the rooms are a bit ruined and obviously the whole hotel needs a lot of maintenance. The most bare hotel I have been to. Kettles need to be rented for a charge + deposit. There are no cups or cutlery in the room. Mini fridge is empty. I think I can understand why the hotel went for such measures given the crowd that is staying there - too many wild screaming Britons. Breakfast tables have nothing but a cloth. Lounge chairs are bare plastic making them very uncomfortable to use. Most of the chairs are in fact not available for use because guests dump their towels to reserve them and then not show up for hours. Staff allow this behaviour. The loud entertainment went on till 23:30 (accompanied by partying guests next door) so if you want to sleep any time before that - forget it, it's like trying to sleep inside a night club. Beach towels are not provided, bathroom towels cannot be taken out so if you didn't bring your own - tough. It is a beach property but the beach is private and hotel guests do not get any discounts. The shower was hot and had good pressure but there was hair left in the drain. Beds seemed good at first but I woke up with back pain. Went up to take a look at the roof terrace which looked lovely but we didn't stay for a drink. All in all the hotel was not for us and certainly would not recommend it if you are looking for a relaxing place.

Ive stayed at this hotel before and it is very clean, in a great location, friendly staff. However on this recent 2 night stay, there was an issue in the full hotel where the air conditioning was not working. After numerous enquiries, including a statement from reception that this would be fixed on the first day, but it wasn`t resulting in two nights poor sleep due the heat. I would expect air conditioning to work in a 4 star hotel and will be making a complaint.

It was perfect for my purpose. I was travelling most of the day, and returned mainly to sleep. Good comfy bed, and although I'm not a fan of ”tempura” type pillows, I slept well (even though I know they're meant to be good for you!). Good water pressure and lots of hot water, so I was happy.
