Hotel Cep is truly an exceptional place to stay. Romantic, beautiful lobby/breakfast rooms, and very nicely appointed rooms with a great large bathroom. The staff was wonderful. It’s easy walking distance to the Hotel Dieu and the surrounding sites/ramparts. Easy access to nice local restaurants, and right down the street from Joseph Drouhin Winery, as well as others. Parking on site. The buffett breakfast was excellent, including eggs cooked to order on request. We absolutely loved this hotel. The Michelin-starred Loiseau de Vignes is part of it, but indepently run. A very nice convenient place to have dinner the night you arrive! Highly recommend!

We have been in a room at the floor of the street. As the next day it was a ”market day” we met with a truck in front of the window, which completely prevented us from opening windows and parts with exhaust gas odors (diesel) in the room. No warning of the management or word of excuse on the situation. Damage and disappointment! Date of stay: 7 to 8 April 2023

We were extremely happy with our visit in Beaune, made only better by this lovely establishment. Originally a 14th century Abbey, it is now a very charming hotel. We stayed in a Deluxe room on the second floor. The room was spacious with a great bed and bathroom. Be aware there is NO elevator here so you will need to be able to walk a spiral staircase; if you can do that, you will not be unhappy. A candlelight breakfast was served each morning and was delicious. The serving team were both charming and professional. We highly recommend this hotel if you are looking for a truly romantic stay in Beaune. The hotel is located just minutes from the train station ( have them book a taxi for you), and central to everything including restaurants, shops and wine tastings.

We loved this hotel. The decor was wonderful, the staff was very competent and friendly, and the room was comfortable. We enjoyed the location - close to the city center, but still easy to park and walk everywhere. Even though it was on a busy street, the windows were solid and blocked the street noise. The breakfasts were delicious. I look forward to returning to Beaune again.

Stayed here a few times and is an excellent hotel, close to city centre, yet peaceful location. A traditional, historic building with well appointed rooms. We had a spacious room with a large bathroom. everything was spotlessly clean. Breakfast was execellent with service to your table. Staff professional and couteous. Many thanks to the Manager who helped with a small issue with our car, by phoning ahead to the garage to arrange an appointment for us. Would be our first choice of hotel when returning to Beaune.

This is my fourth stay at this excellent old town centre hotel, twice with my wife and twice as a solo traveller. As ever, the hotel was excellent, and my stay all too short. I stayed in room 1, and a feature I appreciated is that each guest who booked into the restaurant is allocated a dedicated table identified by a name tag. There is a new American bar, which works well and I would say is American/French, not brash at all. Give this is Beaune, the wine list was exemplary, as was the food. There was also gated parking which was important as I was driving an expensive red car! I stay in many good hotels but this is one of my favourites. 10/10.

Great location, great/secure parking, cool room (despite hot temperature outside). But....we arrived at check-in, followed by another family, but had to wait for the receptionist to answer 2 external calls, before she would even acknowledge our presence. We had 3 bikes on our car, which we mentioned. The receptionist just waved to another part of the hotel, indicating where we could store the bikes safely. We subsequently discovered the secure parking, which meant we could leave the bikes with the car, but this was over an hour later, and with no assistance/suggestion from reception. As far as Covid 19 is concerned, the hotel just appeared to be paying lip service, with hand sanitisers available. Breakfast was a complete shambles. Just 1 lady struggling to provide clean trays, no social distancing, not enough room - people were taking trays to sit by the pool, as tables weren't being cleared - again no staff. We all felt very uncomfortable, and subsequently ended up eating on the front terrace - just to get away from other people, and to be able to sit down! Completely understaffed. Would we stay again (a stopover on the way to the Alpes), maybe, but definitely not while Covid19 remains an issue! The English receptionist at checkout, was very 'short'. We got the impression that the staff that were there, were completely overwhelmed.

My wife and I stayed three nights here. We had been to Beaune 12 years earlier but just for several hours travelling between Lyon and Dijon. We are so happy we stayed here and were able to enjoy the area. We arrived at the train station from Lyon and then by taxi to the hotel. We were fortunate to snag the one taxi at the train station so that might be something you want to arrange ahead of time. The hotel was a reasonable fare, about eight euros and I rounded it up to ten euros for a tip. The hotel is very nice, nothing fancy but more than adequate for a multi night stay. Our room was very good and a very good bathroom, all up to date and clean. The staff spoke good English and was very friendly and helpful. There is a bar in the lobby / common area and we enjoyed wines there. There are a number of good restaurants within easy walking distance. The hotel is right across the street from the main tourist office which made pick-up for a day long wine tour very convenient. The hotel has underground parking for an extra daily fee. The location was a very easy walk in to the historic center and we had a great time visiting sites and enjoying the numerous shops and restaurants. We left Beaune with a longer list of things to do then when we arrived so we are already talking about a return visit and would stay here again.

I was driving through France and in the afternoon was looking for places to stop for the night and the Hotel Beaune turned out to be perfect. The hotel is centrally located and makes for a great base exploring the town and there was plenty of parking at the hotel too. The room was on the first, top floor which had a double bed, bathroom, table and air con and it was clean and comfortable. Very friendly staff in the hotel and I had the breakfast and at the time of writing there were no hams or hot food options which I seemed to get when staying elsewhere in France, it was mostly yogurts, rolls, croissants, cheese and jams but it was all fine. I would be happy to stay there again.

My friend and I enjoyed a lovely stay at this hotel. The rooms were beautifully decorated and very light and airy (I enjoyed a window that I could open with a view of the valley). Lovely bathroom, spacious tub with a shower (request a tub rug so you don't slip on the surface), soft towels and robes (although they're made for thin guests - I recommend to the hotel they stock some robes that are roomier). The hotel offers a warm and inviting area for drinks from the well-stocked bar and the staff, from the front desk, the concierge, and the bartender are all very friendly and at all times, helpful. Upon my departure, the concierge explained to the cab driver that I would need help getting my luggage up to the platform at the Beaune train station. The drive from the hotel to the train station is approximately ten minutes. The restaurant offers a wonderful array of breakfast items. Hot and cold, including delicious croissants and homemade breads to toast. Regarding the adjacent spa, it pains me to write, I was terribly disappointed in the massage I received upon my arrival. If you are accustomed to a spa that with showers and all the amenities that a five star hotel would normally offer, do not book this spa. My masseuse did not speak English. It took ten minutes for her to understand that I didn't want the table heated. Other than this disappointing experience, the hotel was excellent and I would return. The Michelin star restaurant, Clos du Cedre, also adjacent to the hotel was amazing. Highly recommend this excellent restaurant.

What a super stay in this carefully restored hotel which is run by a very friendly husband and wife team. The other staff are also superb. Set in beautiful grounds with flowers and a beautiful terrace for breakfast al fresco. Pool is perfect with lots of places to relax and lots of loungers with pool towels provided. Room we had (18) was large with a comfy bed and pillows a magnificent shower and lots of plugs in all the right places. Ambience very French and decor thoughtful and beautiful throughout. They get that part 100% right plus the rooms from a practical nature are brilliant too. Located 5 mins from Beaune and so much more than a one night stop en route somewhere. Recent review said carpet not good idea. Trust me it was superb! Stay here if you can.

We searched a hotel in the centre of Beaune and found the perfect one; clean, with parking, with all the comforts near the main places reachable on foot. We found some work on restructuring, but they didn't stop with our living.The comfortable bed,in the very clean bathroom,a beautiful big shower! I liked the numbering of the TV guide of the channels of every nation on my desk.Caffe The boiler,the only fault I found was the chicken in my bed,in July it was a little too much. At the entrance, you could taste a little chocolate croissant... we were good,I advise!

The motel is close to the autoroute but soundproofed from external sounds. If I have one reservation, it's that unusually the bathroom is separate from the WC, which seems rather unhygienic.

The hotel was booked as a birthday surprise and we enjoyed it 2 days. Beautiful garden around it with a swimming pool. After hot days a very fine cooling. It is just a sleeping hotel with breakfast option for which you pay. We were sleeping in room 203 called Garçon. Small nice room without a bathroom, with TV we haven't used with toilet and shower room. Great place to explore Beaune and the surroundings. We have been on the wine route from Beaune to Meursault and a little further bicycle and one day later made from Aloxe Corton to Clos de Vougeot, both after a rain morning and finally a sunset afternoon.

However, the rooms have no love, no personality, just bare basics. Great for a one night stopover. Breakfast is just OK. Staffed by part-time students who don't deliver great customer service. Not their fault. No real complaints, but would we stay again, no I doubt it. Not great value for money except given its location.

I want to emphasize this particular feature because it’s not usual. I’ll tell you our sad circumstances but first: there is H parking right by the automatic doors to reception and our room was a straight shot from there. Our key card opened the door by electronic signal. Straight through there is a door to a grassy area. To the left of that a wide door to a huge « wet » room with roll in shower, lowered sink and toilet. Our room, 002, has a king bed, etc, and five feet away against the back wall a third person single bed that is made up as a sofa. There is a full length mirror by the bathroom door. Our booking, done months ago, was non refundable as of two days ago which was no problem as things were going well at that time: but when we arrived at our Irish ferry port we found out that we would arrive in Cherbourg five hours later than the expected Noon. Beaune is over 400 km! So we got here at 3am and thanks to the night attendant Manuel, we arranged by phone a special pickup of our key. He spoke English and reassured us that we would be okay. And we are. WARNING Do not use Garmin GPS but carry a map. GARMIN took us the regular route to the Paris périphérique to A6 WHICH IS CLOSED FOR A HUGE SECTION necessitating a jammed slip road use with trucks and Paris traffic and probably forty traffic lights. THEN we were guided to Orly airport and Garmin was totally off..you could see from the road signs that the nav system was faulty. AND the A6 southbound is closed and detoured from Autun to Beaune (maybe more, I’ll find out soon enough). Being 82 I’m going to have to upgrade my tech, it’s hard, international travel using a pricey ATT iPhone. After Ireland, I’d call this hotel a bargain in a very touristic, charming Burgundian town. That’s my story: you can see why I’m grateful for this wonderful accommodation.

The location is a little far away, but Carrefour is close, the price is good, clean, air-conditioned, but unfortunately there is no elevator, the luggage is not suitable! First class hotel. Perfectly located, just outside the city walls and 5 minutes walk from train station. The host was most helpful throughout my stay and good to talk to. The air conditioning in the rooms was excellent and needed (34 degrees C outside). Very good quality breakfast and the multi-national nature of the guests made for some good conversations also some good fun with the boiled egg head remover! Do try the local beer, it is brewed about 100m from the hotel. I would definitely return.

We are so happy we stayed here and were able to enjoy the area. We arrived at the train station from Lyon and then by taxi to the hotel. We were fortunate to snag the one taxi at the train station so that might be something you want to arrange ahead of time. The hotel was a reasonable fare, about eight euros and I rounded it up to ten euros for a tip. The hotel is very nice, nothing fancy but more than adequate for a multi night stay. Our room was very good and a very good bathroom, all up to date and clean. The staff spoke good English and was very friendly and helpful. There is a bar in the lobby / common area and we enjoyed wines there. There are a number of good restaurants within easy walking distance. The hotel is right across the street from the main tourist office which made pick-up for a day long wine tour very convenient. The hotel has underground parking for an extra daily fee. The location was a very easy walk in to the historic center and we had a great time visiting sites and enjoying the numerous shops and restaurants. We left Beaune with a longer list of things to do then when we arrived so we are already talking about a return visit and would stay here again.

We loved this hotel. The decor was wonderful, the staff was very competent and friendly, and the room was comfortable. We enjoyed the location - close to the city center, but still easy to park and walk everywhere. Even though it was on a busy street, the windows were solid and blocked the street noise. The breakfasts were delicious. I look forward to returning to Beaune again.

Excellent hotel, conveniently located with free private parking. Reception were welcoming and friendly. Room was very comfortable with a pool view. Hotel bar and snack bar were both good with a friendly manager. The hotel isn’t cheap but, remember, nothing is in Beaune! This is the best Accor property we have stayed at in France in the last few years. Recommended.

A little inpersonal hotel with a lot of noisy youth when I stayed there. The hotel is located at a walking distance, but is about 20 minutes away. The bathroom is very small and little mountain room in the room.
