Few minutes before check out time at 11, the staff went to the room to remind me I have to check out and I asked her for a few minutes because I had to shower. When I went back to the room, my key card doesn’t work anymore. They already locked it for me because it’s check out time. I won’t go back to this hostel. Tho I had good breakfast at Howm.

I originally planned to leave my luggage, but the staff allowed us to check in early. Thank you very much. The room is large and comfortable. The view is open and you can see the Ferris wheel. It is fully equipped. The kitchen is equipped with kitchen utensils, which is convenient for people who cook by themselves. The bed is large, the mattress is moderately hard, and the toilet is particularly large, which is suitable for people in wheelchairs. The washing supplies are complete. There are restaurants and supermarkets downstairs of the hotel, which is very convenient. It only takes ten minutes to get to the ”SkyBus” station by car, and it's free of charge. Next time I come to Melbourne, I will also stay in this hotel.

|2.98km from city centerWhile the room was spacious and nicely furnished, with a decent kitchen (once the necessary appliances were finally provided), the service was truly unacceptable. The staff was extremely unfriendly, making us feel like second-class guests.
We witnessed them openly talking negatively about other customers right in front of us, which was both unprofessional and uncomfortable. Upon arrival, we were left waiting in the lobby for an unreasonable amount of time, even though it was already past the check-in time.
Additionally, the bathroom sink was clogged, the room service never showed up despite our requests, and getting basic kitchen items required repeated trips to the front desk.
The location was decent, but the poor service completely overshadowed any positives and just gave you a really bad feeling. For a hotel in this category, I expected much better. Until they significantly improve their customer service, I would not recommend staying here.

Bed was comfy. The lady at the desk even gave me the choice of room if I wanted a room towards the back that would get less traffic noise or one in the middle She even opened them up and showed me. Both were very as clean. Super impressed would 100% come back.

They changed it but the housekeeping forgotten to provide us with a bathroom mat and also left our used spoon on the sink. Overall a pleasant stay but I don’t really have that five star hotel feel in terms of the room comfort level and service quality.

Nevertheless the room we were allocated was lovely & clean with lots of space. A couple of issues I had #1: No lift, I'm a Chronic Asthmatic & tried to explain to reception staff that the stairs will be challenging the woman responds ”Oh my it's only on the 2nd floor so it's not that far”. I wasn't sure wither to slap her face or cry but ultimately my partner had to calm me and supported me on the climb.
Issue #2 Upon arrival we were advised the front desk is mand 24hrs, not the case at all. When checking out I waited 30min for someone to show, a cleaner turned up & advised us to leave the key on the desk unattended & to call a certain number, I called just to be told my extra $100 that was paid will be reimbursed in 5 days if not take it up with my bank, her lack of pple skills pissed me off coz she also added ”I'm not at the desk right now Because I'm doing another job in the other motel sorry just leave the key card on the desk please” ... How the F#@* is that my problem i asked myself??. I better get my money back & hopefully not get charged extra if the key go's missing!!🥴.

Left a bad taste at the ending unfortunately as they contacted us a few hours after our checkout to ask if we stole their speaker when it wasn’t even there in the first place?? Luckily we took a video of the room during our day 1 there as evidence. All sorted now and while they apologised I just hope that the management can be a bit more careful in this and also perhaps train ur housekeeping in inventory management better?

The hotel looks quite new, newer than the motels I stayed in along the way from Sydney, but the facilities are the most broken. The hair dryer and exhaust fan are broken, and the access control system in and out of the lobby often fails. In addition, I put the food bought in the supermarket in the refrigerator. Who knew that when I opened it the next day, I found cockroaches in the refrigerator, which is not hygienic.

|1.55km from city centerBecause this was the only hotel within walking distance from my friend's house, we stayed for a total of 4 nights and booked a 2+1+1 deal. Before checking in on the first day, the room fee and a deposit of 100 Australian dollars were charged to my credit card. On the fourth day, I went to the front desk to renew the room card (I couldn't open the door without renewing it). The front desk already knew that this was a prepaid order and asked if the payment would be deducted from the original credit card (I changed the name of the booker on the fourth night but didn't change the room and noted ”extend stay” in the order). I thought that after the prepaid order, the hotel might have to charge a deposit again because the name of the booker had changed, so I replied ”yes”. As a result, not long after, the front desk deducted 157 Australian dollars from the credit card again. I returned to the hotel in the evening and called the front desk. The front desk said it might be the deposit and asked me to talk to the manager tomorrow. I checked out very early the next day and the front desk was not at work. I negotiated with the hotel through text messages. The hotel said that I booked the room twice, once at the front desk and then again on Ctrip two hours later. They were so shameless. I booked the room on Ctrip one night in advance, but I didn't go to the front desk to renew the room card until after 9 o'clock the next day. After the communication failed, I had to contact Ctrip. If the negotiation with Ctrip failed, I would post a complaint on the hotel's official website. After repeated communication with Ctrip, the hotel agreed to refund the money, saying it was a ”communication misunderstanding”. I suggest that compatriots should check their credit card information more often when they go out, and safeguard their legal rights and interests in a timely and resolute manner, so that the chickens and dogs of T can't hide.

The room was well equipped with a kitchenette and a washing machine. Do go up to Level 6 for a good view of the city.
Convenient location! The hotel is in the Fitzroy area. Walk out of the entrance, turn left and turn left will lead you to a busy street with eateries and supermarkets. There is a bus stop for Bus 86 that will take you into the heart of town in 20min.
