For 3 days of stay, we never changed towels, did not take out the trash, did not give soap and toilet paper, did not clean the room. Killed a hefty cockroach that ran across the table in the room. The staff does not speak English well.
Of the benefits - inexpensive, spacious room and near a cheap fruit market and a large park. Problems with the toilet and water heater were quickly resolved.

Daniel came right away from the office and checked us in promptly and setup breakfast service for next day. ACs in all bedrooms and two of the rooms had the view of the Big Budda. Nice quiet neighborhood. Fans on the ground floor to circulate the air through the ground level. We had car so it was very easy to get around and only 5 min drive to beach. Very nice daily cleaned pool at the villa. Also we were allowed to used the infinity pool with a nice view of Kata area from top and gym at Kata hill’s other location within 5 min of the villa. Daily breakfast was delicious and made fresh infront of you the in the kitchen and cleaned up throughly after breakfast was done: very clean place and lots of space to move around inside for our family. included a washer right outside of the villa for private use . Master bedroom has a nice sit out place, can use some chairs and table. Private gated parking infront of the villa and plenaty of private safe parking outside as well. Very nice sit out space in front of the villa to eat meals and just hangout or work with nice table and chairs. Overall great stay. WiFi works well throughout the villa.

|18.5km from city centerThe reception is basic and run down. Initial thought embrace the jungle theme. The trek to our room was long with many steps, not the picturesque route imagined. We went through a very large run down wooden area, maybe a closed cafe. Initially the room looked perfect from the outside. When they opened the door the smell hit us, like a smoke den. So strong you could taste it. Honestly never been in a room anywhere with such a stench. Requested a move which happened promptly, not a problem. When we got to the next room the outside ashtray had been hidden under the table and the room sprayed with eucalyptus to mask the smoke. We requested to move hotels. Our agent couldn’t get us a move for two days which we agreed to. Hotel refunded agent no problem. The rooms have very dark furniture and are very dark. First night in the room I was bitten everywhere. Spent a month in Thailand and not a single bite. This was ridiculous When we met the agent in reception she commented on how many bites I had, yes from last night. The room was sprayed later that day. All our luggage ( waiting to move hotels) was moved. One bag shoved in a cupboard we didn’t know existed leading us to believe we had lost a bag. The whole experience was a nightmare. Breakfast was ok. Limited selection, cold fried eggs Coffee very good. We were shocked that this was the “rock” restaurant in the night. Thank goodness they didn’t respond to our two booking request months earlier for my hubby’s birthday, It really doesn’t deserve the hype. If you are disabled, have problems walking or children this isn’t the resort for you. Our first room had large pebbles on the floor all around the bath in the middle of the room. Not enough room to walk around them. The second room had a large shelf at the side of the bed, why? You needed to get in and out of the bed half way up to avoid knocking yourself. They did offer free evening meal at a local restaurant that they own. Food and service very good, only plus. We had come from a 5* hotel and this was supposed to be a 4.5* something very wrong with the rating system. Would never return. Hotel we moved to, same rating, fabulous! Booking again.

I am not very sure why the owners have decided to open this hotel before everything is finished, because it just gives a costumer a very confusing experience. When we arrived we were told that the sauna is out of order, breakfast room is not finished, there is no poolside bar..basically a lot of things what are not finished, but when we booked it didn’t say in anywhere and was advertised as something that’s already there. When you arrive in a hotel and first thing you get is a row of bad news it makes you very disappointed. They told us that they will upgrade us in a better room, but actually the room they offered us was definitely NOT an upgrade. It had a smaller bed than the room before and there was no sitting area anymore. They were saying this is a more expensive room because it is one floor higher and has a view to the pool(!?) We told them that there is not even a couch anymore how can this be an upgrade? But they didn’t really understand what is our problem so they made us feel very stupid and we asked our previous room back, because that one was way better. They told us that pool view rooms don’t have couches in them, but later we saw that they did. But for sure we can say if you are thinking of booking and don’t care about the view then a superior mountain view room is better than the superior high floor room! In high floor pool view room you just have a hard bench and a queen bed instead of the king. They promised to make it all up to us ,but in the end they just ignored this situation and we were left in this “feeling stupid” situation. The other thing that happened with us a lot and we saw it also happening with others was that the keycard just stops working or doesn’t work from the beginning so you have to go to the reception a lot. Poolside bar and breakfast are they are still building,but what I saw they are probably going to be very nice. Sauna worked only one night and even then we didn’t have any lights inside and had to stay in a dark sauna what is not a problem , but still not a good sign..as the next day sauna was not working and in the end it went only until 40 degrees. Very disappointing. But the bed was truly amazing and absolutely new - definitely recommended! The gym was very good with a very good equipment, so definitely pack your running shoes. Maybe in the future it would be nice if there would be some water available in the gym. The swimming pool was very good, but sadly they didn’t have different towels for the pool (probably also something to add in the future!) Also the mirror in the room is in a very dark spot and you should definitely add some lights there. I think as a new and just opened place you should try to provide a better service, but I see if all the “mistakes” are fixed how it is going to be a very comfy place for a relaxing stay. I also appreciated the fact that it was within walking distance of the beach at this price, and that they provided two bottles of water for each cleaning session. There is also a safe deposit box. Shampoo and body soap are provided, but hair treatments, toothbrushes, basic cosmetics for women, etc. are not provided, so we especially recommend that women prepare everything!

Apartment with balcony, decent air con, free cleaning and bedding change available, lovely, polite staff, especially Joy in the office. I would recommend unity block as oppose to bliss, bliss is further up the hill. Walking distance to restaurants, 24hr grocery stores, perfect distance from Bangla, no noise. Utilities provided for cooking, fresh towels, definitely be back. Disliked · Cons: few minor teething issues, one of the bedroom remotes needed replacing, cable TV had no signal, shower bracket loose. I arrived in the evening, I managed to sort the lounge cable TV, all other issues sorted by the next day, bed a bit harder than I'm accustomed to but not bad.

|20.1km from city centerPrior to arriving at this hotel, we had stayed at some nice hotels in Vietnam & Cambodia, which in our view we’re getting better as our trip progressed. That wasn’t the case with the Beachfront hotel. First impressions were ok but we arrived late in the evening, and the receptionist must have been in a rush, as she rhymed off a lot of information in a matter of seconds. Our room, to be fair, wasn’t bad until we looked around. The first thing we noticed, was the toilet seat. It was a small size seat put on a large bowl!! We opted for the sea view room, but it wasn’t until the morning when we looked out the window, that we overlooked a field full of ****s and old tin buildings. Technically, we could see the sea, but really! We had to strain our neck to see it! Then came the beach! What beach? An area at the bottom of the hotel that is covered in sand and has sun beds. They have a bar there, so that saved the day, or did it? We quickly noticed that between the hours of 15:00 - 17:00 & 19:00 - 21:00 were happy hours, where they advertise 2 drinks for the price of 1. That made things better, until we noticed that all drinks on happy hour were nearly double the price. So, a bottle of Chang beer was normally 130 baht, but on happy hour, the same bottle was 250 baht!!!! Rip-off! If you happened to be one of the lucky ones to get the hotel transport to a beach area, some 15 minutes away, you’ve done well. The vehicle can only sit 8 persons, which means, most of the hotel wishing to go to the beach area, needs to order their own transport. Give credit where credits due, the breakfast and food in general is good. Staff in the restaurants are polite and helpful, but less can be said for the reception area. I found them slightly abrupt, ignorant and no patience. If you’re staying here for one or two nights, it’s ok, but anything more, I wouldn’t bother. The one thing that did come out of our trip here, was the menu. As much as the food is good, it was same old, same old, so we went out one night for something different. This lead us to a restaurant called Zen Eat, only about a 5 minute drive in a taxi, which should cost about 200 baht. A fabulous French fusion restaurant that was just amazing. You really have to try.

There is a big bathtub under the floor-to-ceiling window. There is also a balcony facing the back mountain. I used the hotel's hot water bottle to burn 5 pots of water and washed a half hot bath. The kettle is overheating and cannot be protected continuously. It takes a while to cool down. It takes too long. The hot water is not enough.

We were able to book a day trip to the Phi Phi islands through the hostel and got great deals and discounts due to being guests here. Everything was very clean. Hugh shout out has to be given to the staff, especially the two ladies who were working on reception as they were so kind and helpful and created a warm and welcoming atmosphere from the moment we arrived. We would definitely recommend this hostel and would also stay here again if we were back in the area.

I didn't know what to expect at all, and I wasn't sure how the Sandbox program was going to pan out for me. So I had mentally prepared myself for the worst... Once I arrived at S4 Naiyang Beach, however, I felt reassured that I had no reason to be (too) tense. From the moment I checked in until the moment I checked out, Ice and his family were all very helpful as well as hospitable. While I was quarantined for the Sandbox program, they neatly plated every dish that I ordered for delivery. When I needed a way to get around town, they had a rental motorbike delivered to the hotel parking lot. When I needed to refuel, they personally accompanied me to help. It was also convenient that Ice was fluent in English, not to mention very prompt and responsive to requests. They also have the an adorable dog and a beautiful cat. (Don't worry. If you're allergic, like me, the animals are cared for in a separate area.) After S4 Naiyang Beach, I went on to see more of Phuket, other cities and provinces, and even a neighboring country. But even after a month of traveling, S4 Naiyang Beach yet remains one of my fondest memories in Thailand. Oh, and the rooms are clean and spacious!

The breakfast buffet serves great variety of western and local street food cart as well as 1 choice of eggs your way. We got the pool view room and it was big. Night music generally stops around 11pm and it was so quiet throughout the night. The staff are all very friendly and helpful especially Alan and Joker who checked us in. The beach is beautiful and feels like a private oasis, the food and restaurants are absolutely delicious, and the spa was incredible!! I surprised my husband for his 30th birthday with a private dinner, and it was a night we will cherish and remember forever. The entire room decor and set up was stunning, the food was absolutely divine, and we danced the night away - but truly the most special part was the entire Rosewood team- thank you so much Chef Luca, Kanokwan, Mew, Boouthong, Anne, and Nun. I absolutely loved the ‘booth’ type beds and the bathroom/shower facilities are excellent and well kept. There is a launderette attached to the hostel also! It is located in the Old Town, which is gorgeous! It is a 30 min drive to PaTong and a taxi cost us €4 each (4 of us) to get there! The staff are gorgeous and so kind. We rented a moped near the hostel for an entire day. We had to give one of our passports to the shop in order to rent it. When we returned at 7pm, the moped shop was closed and we had planned a trip to James Bond island for 6:30am the next day. My boyfriend and I were very concerned about the passport so we approached the reception. A lady working there reassured us and kindly offered to return the key and helmets to the moped shop and collect our passport. And she did! When we returned to the hostel after our day trip, she greeted us with our passport and confirmation that all items were returned to the moped shop. We are so grateful for her kindness and help. She made us feel less anxious and we were able to enjoy our day trip. Would HIGHLY recommend staying here!

The following morning, I booked a week which I again extended for another. The ladies at the reception spoke English, were friendly, and very helpful. The hotel's saltwater pool is nice. However, I preferred walking about 10 minutes to the fabulous beach of Nai Harn. There I always experienced a fresh breeze letting the clean, warm water hit the strand with waves, fun to play with. Just around the corner, a deli and two welcoming restaurants offered breakfast, lunch, and dinner. ATM, foreign currency exchangers, a tour operator, car and bike rentals, a health food store, and restaurants were all a short walking distance away. No doubt, I will stay there again.

The room I rented for a price of 2 costs 900+ pesos which is a good deal for a night.
The receptionist in the morning is really kind and helpful while the one in the afternoon is also approachable.
Cons:
There is not lift in this poshtel that we had to go until the 3rd floor with our luggages.
The smell of the room and toilet are like those pesticides/insecticides.
The rooms are not soundproof that it was so noisy at night. (There were like guys beside our room who made so much noise at 2am and they would even throw the door.)
The bathroom looks clean but since the smell affects the cleanliness and also the shampoo/body soap were not labelled.
Summary: In total,it wasn’t really a good experience to stay due to smell,noise and limited space.

The background was another hotel with which we were unfortunately not at all satisfied. The hotel has a very large and beautifully landscaped pool. The rooms are well furnished, unfortunately a bit noisy. During our second stay we had very noisy neighbors, which meant we were able to observe this very closely. The location is OK and the staff is very friendly. The hotel has its own cafe with good food, good coffee and very tasty desserts. Wat Chalong and Chalong Pier can be reached very quickly. However, you should generally rent a vehicle as other places are more difficult to reach. We would go there again.

Vendors are nearby and along the walk to get to the beach. Tours can be booked in hotel lobby or next door. A quality spa is next door, so it was 650Baht for 1 hour full body aromatherapy oil massage. There are street massages nearby for 200Baht if you want simple and cheaper. No noise heard from within the room. Rooftop pool area is beautiful. Fitness room is simple
Cons: The beds looks comfy but it's hard. They went for extra extra extra Firm! A mattress topper was brought in and it was helpful. The building is very close to other hotels so you can see into other rooms and they can see into yours. Just make sure to close your blinds. Busy area so the roads gets traffic. Just plan ahead for it if you have to take a car somewhere.
