Its a nice hotel, friendly staffs, helpfull and attentive. Location is very strategic, connected to metro station and mall across the hotel. Easy access for foods, lots of indian food in surrounding and many other types. We also tried a very nice thai food in surrounding. Everything about the hotel is good, the only downside is the lift. They have 3 lift which suppose to be effective and fast for people to goes in, up and down but turn out the lifts are a bit slow. So it create a queue on people going up and down. Other than the lifts everything else are great. Will definitely come back to stay in this hotel. 👍👍👍

This is my third time staying at the Penta Hotel because the first and second experiences were pleasant. But this third experience was lacking because the first time we arrived at 4 it turned out the room wasn't ready yet then we were given a spare room on the 1st floor which had no windows. After 30 minutes we were called to be changed to the room we ordered which had a window. We were also on the 1st floor but what was disappointing was that the window couldn't see anything because the glass had a sticker on it. Another thing that disappointed me was that the floor was not carpeted and dirty. Even though the 2 previous stays the rooms were carpeted, clean and fragrant. You also have to ask for a hairdryer first from the receptionist.

This hotel is furbished with decent size and i will list the good and the bad as follow: Good: 1) location is very ideal, just across a shopping mall, 24 Hours mustafar center, hawker food and MRT station 2) easily can get vegetarian food 3) hotel service is good, always fulfilled our requirement for pillows Bad: 1) very poor sound proof, can hear people walking in the corridor 2) can say more than 90% is indian occupant and they like to gather in room and make very noisy discussion like in wet market

This booking at the last minute was a steal considering the usual price. The mint room we stayed in came with a high ceiling and a great city view. The huge pool was great and the whirlpool and 2 dip pools at extreme temperatures were refreshing. Breakfast at the cafe near the pool looks like a make shift space with very basic spread. Quality of food was nothing to crow about. Nonetheless, we had a great relaxing impromptu getaway. Thank you for the hospitality.

Super convenient - from the check-in to the check-out process, everything was efficient. It’s important to note that things like water and the fridge is communal and you just need to go to the main area at each floor to get your water and use the fridge. It can get loud if you are located near the lift, but overall; it’s a great place to stay

For the price and the effort of the staff we.give 5 stars! Thank you so much to the male front office staff who handled our check-in and let us in because the room was already ready. He and his female colleagues were always smiling and helpful. The room is spacious and the pillows are great and the bed is comfy. My 2 daughters (11 and 19) and I fit in it. The refrigerator is a blessing and essential so you can carry cold drinks with you and keep food fresh. There is a water kettle and 2 bottles of water were provided every day. Thank you to Uncle who cleaned the room every day. The bathroom is enough and the bidet we liked best and since we are Asians too, it doesn't bother us that everything gets wet when showering. Hot and cold shower were great and that matters more to us. The staff is really doing their best to keep the room clean and clear of pests. I smelled moth balls, but since we are in a tropical country I saw 4 bugs that I simply killed and disposed in the trash bin. It doesn't overshadow our pleasant stay at Tai Hoe. The window blinds were wonderful. We had 4 nights of good sleep Location, perfect! We learned to navigate the MRT/LRTs in a day. Just download a map. We got everywhere quickly. Just cross the street to City Square Mall and the signages will lead you to Farrer MRT. We never took the bus, though we planned to. Getting there follow the arrows to Kitchener Road and the exit straight ahead lead directly across City Square Mall. These were things I wished we knew, so I write it here for future guests. Shopping, Mustafa is just right across too for a supermarket run and and several souvenir shops. Prices are comparable to Bugis and Chinatown. Food, you can find lots of restos. Thank you Tai Hoe Team and we hope to see you again. We will definitely recommend you to our family and friends

Our room didn’t even have a water heating system in the showers. The water also floods every time we shower. The air-conditioner isn’t cool enough for me and my friends. There’s also a foul smell somewhere in the room. We also found a mouse that comes out when the lights are out.

The overall environment is clean and tidy, everyone is very polite and does not disturb each other and is very quiet. The beds were comfortable. Overall, it is very warm and humane, with snacks, coffee, drinking water, microwave oven and hair dryer. The breakfast pastries were very greasy and sweet. The facilities and equipment are currently very new. Sometimes you have to queue up to take a shower. After staying for many days, they didn't take the initiative to change towels or help make the beds. Flaws: The bathroom is semi-outdoor and occasionally a little hot; the shower water is unstable in temperature; there is a waitress with a nose ring who always has a sour face.

There were several power outages but they were quickly fixed. Our room was on the third floor and had stairs, but they carried our luggage for us which was helpful. The bed was clean and there was one bath towel and headphones. The shower is in the same room as the toilet. You will need to take precautions such as bringing short pants and slippers that you don't mind getting wet, so those who are not used to traveling may have trouble. They were very kind and looked after our luggage after we checked out.

In curtin Singapore Reading, very close to the new site of the school, 15 minutes by bus, and close to Jin Wentai, the hotel provides continental breakfast from Monday to Friday, although the variety is very limited, but the breakfast is enough for nutrition, especially the ham is delicious, the hotel apartment room is what I see Singapore Hotel is comparison Big, there is a kitchen where you can cook kitchen utensils and tableware. The washing machine with dryer is very convenient. There are also food courts nearby, but there is a pasta restaurant downstairs in the hotel that tastes very good, and it is also very close to west coast park It is very suitable for running. house keeping is done on Tuesdays and Saturdays. It won’t be too disturbing to rest. Overall, this apartment is very good, very quiet and suitable for living. If you don’t like noisy, it’s also very difficult to book.

Booked for my mom and dad when they came over from Sydney to visit. Mondrian guests are mainly Caucasians, didn’t find anything special about the room. Hallway feels claustrophobic. I find that it’s quite inconvenient have to take a lift to lobby and walk again to catch another lift to room. Location wise it’s close to Tanjong pagar, Chinatown etc. I think would suit younger guests than guests my parent’s age 50+. Won’t say the service or amenities are any impressive, my dad did a swim and there was something sharp that cut his foot in the pool. He notified the staff concern on safety for other guest. Hotel didn’t really do much in terms of service or follow up.

The noise that other people reviewed is really loud. The accommodation provides small earplugs, but they are not yet available. However, the accommodation provides earmuffs, but they are too big. However, the pub is closed on Sundays. It is very quiet for anyone who sleeps on Sunday night. What I don't like is that the bathroom is outside and locked with a code. You have to bring your mobile phone because you can't remember the code. There are advantages, such as free coffee, Milo, free water, and a spacious place to work and eat. The air conditioning in the shared room is not hot, but cool. Overall, it is not bad.

I had a wonderful experience staying at Paradox Hotel Singapore on Merchant Road. The hotel blends modern sophistication with a touch of local charm. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, making me feel right at home from check-in to check-out. My room was spacious, well-appointed, and offered great views of the city. Perfectly situated amidst countless shopping and dining options in the busiest commercial area of Singapore. Though this is clearly a much older property, it appears to be well maintained and clean. Slept well during my stay and appreciated the rooftop pool and comprehensively equipped gymnasium. For the price paid, this was good value, especially considering how expensive hotels are in Singapore.

great experience! First of all, had a free upgrade to a Premier room. So huge thanks for that! Went with my partner and had a good rest! Room is beautiful! Although it's rather small, the layout of the room is good enough for it to not matter. One downside is that there was only one chair, which prompted us to move the table by the tv nearer to the bed so that both of us had a seat whilst eating. You can get nespresso in the morning which doesnt add on to your bill and a mini 'fridge' to keep your cold items chilled! Service was great too! Had in-room dining in the morning where we ordered the chef's brekkie. Took me a while to figure out how to call the front desk but when I did, everything else was seemless. However, the food we got didnt really live up to the price. Location-wise, the hotel is near where you wanna go for a good shopping day. However, heading up the hill to get to the hotel is somewhat annoying. It wasnt as accessible as I hoped it to be. Best to drive to the hotel rather than public transport because you'd have to walk a distance and up a hill to get there.

Oh, you're in for a treat! First things first, the staff at this hotel were truly remarkable. They had this uncanny ability to anticipate my every need. It felt like they had superpowers! Whether it was arranging transportation, or simply offering a warm smile, they went above and beyond to make me feel like a VIP. Now, let me paint a picture of the room for you. It was like stepping into a dreamy oasis. The bed was so comfortable and fluffy, it felt like I was floating on a cloud. The room itself was impeccably designed, with stylish decor and all the amenities I could ever ask for; the kitchenette, washer dryer, cutlery and more. It was the perfect sanctuary to relax and recharge after a long day. Just to add and suggest on breakfast could have more hot foods and cooking station; making scramble eggs etc. But what really set this hotel apart was the attention to detail and the genuine care they showed towards their guests. It was evident in the personalized touches, like a handwritten note welcoming me to the hotel or the surprise treats left in my room. It made me feel valued and appreciated, like I was part of a big, happy family. All in all, my stay at this hotel was nothing short of magical. If you're looking for a truly exceptional hotel experience, I highly recommend checking into this gem. Trust me, you won't be disappointed!

The location is good. Clarke Quay Metro Station and Clarke Quay Shopping Center are just a few minutes walk away. There are two 7-11 convenience stores next to the hotel. The buses are also much closer than the subway. The minutes are here. The hotel facilities are fairly clean, the air conditioner has no noise, the bed is comfortable and not soft, there are free mineral water and oranges every day, there are not many samples for breakfast, but it is enough, eat in the morning and start the day. The room has a hair dryer, very nice. The front desk can help to call a taxi, there is a lift for the disabled, very practical. The room is very small, the washstand is next to the bed, the 20-inch suitcase barely opens two, and then it is more difficult to open the door.

Great 2 bedroom apartment for families. It was a little tight with all the luggages but still much more space than what you'd get at a hotel. The staff was friendly. She let us checkin early, just gotta sign up foe Ascott. There was a kitchen AND washing machine with detergent, not to.mention the 2 seperate bathrooms were great since we wouldn't have to wait to share. The lack of locks on the bathroom was a bit cumbersome but I do get why, in case children who are staying in the seperate bedroom lock themselves in. All in all, would stay again since there really isn't another option for family-friendly apartment near/on Orchard road.

The area is hidden in housing estate around tourist spot like chinatown and also towards east west side of singapore. They provide such a clean and huge water pressure not to mention which makes a plus tick for foreigner who is worried of water hygience.
