Where do I start....this hotel is amazing! Arranged for driver to pick us up at the airport and we got a great guy who shuttled us around in Mercedes Sprinter. Hotel is tucked away next to the colosseum so gated and private. We had the most beautiful family suite looking into the colosseum and forum. It had 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and a living room with a rollaway so perfect for our party of 5. Loved how they had nespresso maker, complimentary water, soft drinks, snacks. Our view was amazing! This is a great location. We set down our bags, rested a bit then took off walking to Trevi Fountain, Piazza Novana, Pantheon and the Spanish Steps. Got a cab back from Spanish Steps. Be sure and grab the best tiramasu by spanish steps-amazin! Breakfast was brought to our room in the am-tons of delicious treats, coffees, juices, etc. There is a michelin restaurant and rooftop bar at sister property around corner but sadly we couldn't get reservations for either. Oh well, next time. Check out was great and they called us a taxi to train station. All good. This is our new fav Rome hotel. Hope to be back next May. Prego!

First of all, in love with perfect person Santos in reception. He welcome us with sweets, gave map, where signed most famous places to visit. 5 star for him no doubts. We had room 401 for two girls with 2 beds (no nove view drom the window). There was enough place for both of us. Room was warm enough for end of February. Hotel located 5 minutes walk to Colleseo. 20 minutes walk to Trevi and Pantheon. 1 hour walk to Vatican. Minus in the room- soooooo loud toilet 🙊 Reception is working 24/7, and we had early check out, receptionist called for taxi and it came in 2 minutes. Note, that taxi drivers almost don't speak english. Hotel don't offer breakfast, but there are a lot of bars and restaurants just half a minute to walk. I recommend.

The suite was gorgeous and our host was extremely responsive, attentive, hospitable and made our experience just that much better. Trip.com, however, threw a BIG wrench in our check-in process as we needed a code to access the suite the first time (then we were given a key card and actual keys for the building's exterior doors) and our host was unable to access ANY info to contact us via Trip.com. So if you book by Trip.com, be sure to message/text/Whatsapp the provided phone number or else you'll find yourself a little stuck like we did. Thankfully, a kind gentleman helped us out and all was well. I'd 100% recommend staying here and I hope we have the opportunity to do so too.

Hotel location is very good, the surrounding historical and cultural buildings, restaurants, pharmacies can be reached on foot; The room is not big, there are some free snacks, tea bags, more thoughtful consideration; Eating is not allowed in the room, you need to go to the common area of the kitchen outside to eat, so as not to have a taste in the room; In several places in Europe, the big beds are made up of two small beds, which feels very common. When booking a hotel, Trip.com also marked it more clearly. The city tax was to be paid at the store. We left it in the cabinet when we left.

Sept 22 We have just spent 1 week at this hotel. Staff were really friendly and welcoming. Reception staff were very knowledgable and gave us a map of the centre of Rome and pointed out alternative attractions as well as the big ones. The room was very small and cramped, darkly decorated with fabric on the walls which made it feel even smaller. There was no kettle and the small fridge didn’t work. The balcony was small and backs onto the rear of restaurants. There were a lot of air conditioning vents which blew out there making it even hotter. The bed was not comfy at all. The bathroom is small and the space between the shower and washbasin is quite narrow, a larger person may struggle to get in and out. There are only 3 plug sockets in the room, two at the tv (quite close together so with an adapter we could only plug one in) and one at the side of the bed. The room was clean and the towels and linens were changed daily. Could do with renovating to make the space seem larger and a few finishing touches. The hotel is in an amazing spot, 2 minutes from the colosseum and not far from the Trevi Fountain and other spots. Lots of nice restaurants and cafes nearby and small shops for water etc.

The location of the hotel is very good, just next to the Colosseum, you can see great architectural beauty no matter day or night, the staff is also very nice and courteous and the service is kind, but we chose 2 single bed, the bed is very small, the bathroom in the room is also very small, fortunately my friends and I are very mini, It is not recommended that tall passengers choose here. For you, it should not be crowded. The soundproofing of the room is not very good. Although everyone is very patient to reduce the volume as much as possible, it is still easy to hear the footsteps and voices of others. It is recommended that people who are sensitive to sound should prepare earplugs!

We booked boldly Torre Caparanica despite quite a few of the TripAdvisor reviews, which we have thought were based on unusually unrealistic expectations, and we were not wrong. First the location- so central and so quiet at the same time, on Piazza Capranica, in the middle of the middle of Pantheon area of Rome! The room was spacious, greatly decorated, without even mentioning a superb masterpiece on the ceiling and the upper parts of the walls. The staff were extraordinary welcoming, friendly and helpful. everything worked like a charm, from airport transfer to the reception. As we were entering the building I was trying to figure out what were all those complaints in reviews that I had read about. The area is super safe, the entry to the building is quite grandiose, and the room that we stayed in was marvelous. And no, I do not think that the elevator is small in contrary, I though it just added to the feeling of cosiness of the entire building. All in all, a great experience, worth maximum rating!

Good location, very convenient by bus, walking to the Colosseum is also very close. When I arrived at night, I couldn’t find a place to live and die. I didn’t think of the hotel in a church. When I was sleeping, the quilt was very thin. I felt that all Italy was a thin quilt. Breakfast was not good. I drank the most difficult coffee to drink so far. I suggest that I should find a cafe outside to enjoy breakfast.....

Although the room is slightly smaller, the elevator is slightly smaller, it is enough. The request to add a quilt is also met.

This place was more than amazing!!!!! The check -in was easy ( we arrived early so the owner said please come by and leave your luggage and we will have your room ready when you return) the lady who met us at the door was very cheerful and ready to make my sister and I comfortable and see if we had any special needs. When we returned the owner Jon Carlo met us with a very warm smile and showed us everything and informed us of where to go in Rome. I must stress that I am a seasoned traveler and for fifteen years was a flight attendant , and Jon Carlo is the most hospitable host I have ever encountered. During my stay, which was at the end of a sixteen day cruise I came down with a severe sinus issue and did not feel well, Jon Carlo called his family personal physician and had her come and examine me in my room. The physician spoke english and was very personable, and told me I needed antibiotics, and asked me to call my doctor in the USA to confirm that my regular physician approved. Jon Carlo, was so supportive and kind to me and said he would pay the physician and add it to my bill so I did not have to pay cash. The location was at the top of the Spanish Steps. You walk out the doors walk less than 200 feet and you are looking at the square and walking down the Spanish Steps. My bedroom window overlooked the Trevi Fountain and Spanish Steps. This is a wonderful, wonderful place. Clean, Quaint, and it feels like HOME.

We booked this hotel for a three night stay before our cruise. The staff was friendly and accommodating. Our corner room had a cute balcony and the décor, furnishings, and vibe is sexy modern. They have a fabulous restaurant where you can grab the breakfast buffet. So many amazing choices. We also had dinner here one night and drinks another. It's tucked away in a very lively and fun neighborhood. Around the corner are tons of restaurants and shops. It's a 6 minute walk to Piazza di Santa Maria where we bought souvenirs, ate gelato and pizza, and hung out with the night crowd. The main street around the corner It's a 35 minute walk to the colosseum and a 45 minute walk to the Vatican. We did each of these on different days. It's definitely centrally located and I would stay here again.

Accommodation is always important and I must say I had a great experience with this hostel. Sometimes I even forgot it was a hostel. I had a single room and a private bathroom. The room was small and cute. Always clean and housekeeping came everyday. I was reluctant to choose a hostel when visiting Rome because I had a unpleasant experience when I visited Sydney but if other hostels provided the attention I was given such as Radio hotel, I would most certainly not be reluctant prior to booking. There was a little issue with a small leak from the bidet in the bathroom and when I mentioned it to the front desk, it was fixed immediately. Every single person I encountered at the front desk were very nice and provided me with great detail how to explore the city and best travel options to get there. As a single female traveler I did not feel uncomfortable at any time. The train station near to this hostel is Roma Travestere. About a 8 minute walk or so from the hostel which you can buy train tickets to visit other cities if you wish. There is also the number 8 tram near the train station which will take you directly into the hotspot where you can roam and see great sites like the Trevi Fountain, Spanish steps etc. Thumbs up to this place.

Fantastic village, beautiful surroundings and very peaceful. Train station is around a 30 minute walk from the village where you can get cheap trains to Rome and the airport. Great place to get a good night’s rest and good value too. I stayed there between flights so it was convenient as it is only 1 hour 15 minutes by train to the airport. There are restaurants, plenty of toilets and even a shuttle bus. I didn’t use any of these services because I just needed to sleep but there are lots of amenities. I stayed in a basic room which had 2 beds, table, light and power socket. That’s all you need. There is a heater and blankets for when it gets cold. A generous amount of toilet paper is also provided which can be used in the shared toilets. Staff are friendly. All in all a great place to stay!

The location is good and overall the room is comfortable. However it shouldn’t named “hotel” but Airbnb without breakfast service. The clause of reception period must be highlighted coz it’s only 4hours services a day . My flight from Vienna have been delayed by 4 hours and tried to call few times, either it’s no answer or incorrect number. Eventually when I arrived the hotel .I need to find other room to stay . It was my first time in my life i am not able to check in my reserved “hotel”. Since I am a regular traveler. It was such a bad experience.

First of all we checked in at midnight and waited over an hour for the guy at reception to finish with ONE customer. The hotel room was old but reasonable for €70 a night; although the SAFE didn’t work and some double beds are two single beds put together. The hotel overall is clean but it’s in a pretty rough area with hardly anything open after 9pm. Now if the reason you are staying is for access to Rome then be prepared for a 25mins bus ride to a very grotty Metro station and then another 25 odd minutes to Termini - which is the centre of Rome. Uber doesn’t take orders from area, and quite frankly isn’t very good on Italy. BREAKFAST: there isn’t an eggs bar or anything that is cooked fresh in front of you for but there is a reasonable hot food selection and juices with fruit. I’d give it a 4/10 for breakfast. There aren’t irons in the room but you can iron clothes on the ground floor “ironing room”. The WORST part of the hotel was that the swimming pool, Spa and gym is not accessible for months due to renovations which given that it is so far from civilization leaves nothing to do at the hotel apart from walking the pretty dodgy surrounding streets. PS: parking is free but in a dark and small underground space with no valet.

FIRST of all I'd like to say that we went to this guest house expecting that it would be a small room with minimal amenities. DO not expect a 4 star hotel.. The room and beds were very comfortable..air conditioning worked well once it was turned on. The bathroom also clean and a reasonable size.. We had an unexpected added addition, a mini balcony overlooking historic Roma. The fridge had beverages to purchase if we needed.. We didnt use the tv so can't comment.. The guest services Reception Julius was wonderful, he made our stay much more enjoyable as we had a lot of questions and concerns that needed to be addressed. Breakfast was ok no hot foods and coffee came from a machine.. Now for the not so great part.. The hotel actually is on the 3rd floor..its almst 5 flights of stairs so if you want to get in shape this hotel is for you..there is an elevator but if you are claustrophobic this is not for you..If you have a lot of luggage this wont work for you...if you want coffee in your room in the morning good luck..both coffee makers brought to our room would not work..Great cafes everywhere though...If you like getting soaked before entering the shower this is for you..shower head water fall off wall and shower wand sprays in your face when you try to switch over or during your shower the wand may switch back to rainfall shower so wear a shower cap if you dont want to wash your hair. Only 1 plug to use all others are being used..dont forget your 3 prong euro adapter.. Get a tutorial on how to open the Guesthouse entrance door or you may be sleeping there as the door is locked after 8 pm til 8am. Added highlights close to everything..5 min from Republic station metro and 10 min from Termini Station. Lots of restaurants everwhere..

1, location, TERMINI train station is very convenient to take the A line, get off in less than ten minutes. One of the best choices for the Vatican Museum in the morning, it's convenient for Tete, and you can walk in three minutes. It is strongly recommended to make an online reservation in advance, with the printed order entered, and the automatic machine exchange ticket inside. 2, breakfast, very good 3, service, very good 4, the price is very good, it is two nights with very high cost performance. 5, the surrounding environment, found a very good steakhouse, Chinese food is also good, Sichuan cuisine is still authentic 6, other traffic: when you go, a certain rickshaw delivery station is also very convenient The hotel front desk also has its own recommendations. The door is not big, the bathroom is not all Mingwei, but it is very clean.

Beautiful Hotel, great value, a bit far from Rome and any activities. The pool had not opened yet so not much to do as tourists in this beautiful hotel . The staff was friendly and helpful. Front desk helpful. As others have discussed, on multiple occasions, room service phones go unanswered, just ring and ring. Breakfast for $15. Per person is the best you will ever experience. The wait staff were awesome. The shuttle service into Rome is a good value, $15 round trip but only runs 4 times per day, does not leave early enough to get you to the airport for an early flight and returns at 9pm, just when the Romans are waking up. The shuttle also stops at 2-3 other INH properties, which causes it to sell out days in advance ( frequently). If the shuttle is full or the times don’t work, now you are into serious dollars to hire a taxi into Rome center. Depending upon where you are going, $45-60 one way ( for 2). We also paid $50 taxi fare from the airport each way.so over the course of the 4.5 days at the hotel, we spent $250-$300 for transportation just to get to town. If I were not staying on points, I would consider an in-town option.

This is a really very good hotel. I enjoyed the quality of the staff, the room ,the location and general quality of the Hotel. It would have got 5 stars but for 2 things.. and both relate to Cielo bar..a superb place for a visitor to Rome staying in the hotel to enjoy the great views of Rome particularly at sunset and a drink. Firstly,we arrived at the rooftop bar to find it full of people not staying in the hotel and there was no priority whatsoever for guests of the hotel. Here the bar and the views were filled with locals paying 16 euros for a drink and the guests paying hundreds of euros each night could not get a seat..and the Restaurant above not open till 7.30. Secondly, the appalling loud music at the bar was totally disruptive to a sophisticated enjoyment of the view trumpeted in the hotels advertising.. It detracted from the general quality of the hotel.. The Hausler next door has a total priority policy for guests next to the De La Ville on their rooftop and indeed our existing hotel in Portifino the same,. Pity it detracted from our stay.

We stayed for 4 nights at the Holiday Inn, the airport shuttle was not available to bring us from the airport but we were able to get it back so can't really complain. No problems with check in, the ladies on reception were very friendly as was everyone we encountered at the hotels. Rooms were good size, very clean and serviced every day. Breakfast has plenty of variety there is something for everyone, honestly if you couldn't find something to eat its not the hotels fault. The hot food isn't exactly hot but the hotel caters for large numbers so its not a cooked to order type of place and again if you want a full English this is not the place to go. We ate a few nights in the restaurant and to be honest if was very hit and miss, pizza was good as was the pasta dishes. we had the chicken one night and it wasn't the best. Kids eat free so added bonus. The gym is well equipped. the pool was being renovated so we got to use the pool a few minutes walk from the hotel again it would have been nice to be informed that the pool was being renovated just so we would have had choice about our booking but again nothing major about a few minutes walk. The bar is really lovely to have a drink and chill but the hotel when we stayed was very busy so didn't get a real opportunity to sit and relax there. No major complaints from us but would have loved a fridge in the room it was super hot outside and would have been nice to have the complimentary water chilled. On our last night a tour group arrived so there was a lot of banging of doors and people talking in the corridor late in the night, nothing the hotel can do about loud individuals being inconsiderate to those asleep but other than that a very nice stay. Reception sell the train tickets into Rome and the station is a short walk away. The area is a bit run down but that's nothing to do with the hotel. We would be back to see the renovations in the pool area. Thank you

We stayed for 2 nights. One of our family became ill and taken to hospital. The staff were very helpful and supportive. It’s 5 mins from the train station, but the trains were very infrequent. We wasted our time going there. Taxis in Rome are very cheap. Expect to pay about 17 euros to the Vatican. 20 - 25 euros for the further away places. Airport taxi is set at 31 euros.

I arrived with several other people and checked in at the same time. Wendy were all booked by the same cruise line. Their rooms were all ready, mine was not. I was told I would have to wait an hour because mine room was being cleaned. Check in was at 2pm, it was 1:45pm. Many people came in after me to check in and all had rooms ready. My room is finally ready and I walk in and it smells so bad that I almost vomit. Coincidentally, that is how the room smells. It was horrible. I went to the front desk and told them that the room smells awful. They lady I spoke with was not rude. She told me to wait one second and she asked who I think was the manager who was not very nice. They told me to go remove my bags and come back and get a new key. I got my bags, went down to the desk, handed a key and they said nothing. No apology nothing. I go to the new room, doesn’t smell but was not that clean. I used a colored wipe to clean the table and desk and it was filthy after cleaning 3 things. The bath tub was also dirty. I had lunch in the hotel restaurant and ordered a pasta and pesto dish. It was so salty that I could only eat one bite. It was not edible. The server ask what was wrong and I told him that it was salty and I couldn’t eat it. This was after someone else had just told him their pasta was too salty. I was charged for my dish even though it was not edible. They also charged me for 2 bottles of water from the shop when I only had one. When I told them that I didn’t eat the lunch and only had one water they keep asking me if I had two lunch’s and 2 purchases from the shop. I had to explain to them 3 times what happened and what I got from the shop. They even went to go ask the restaurant about my lunch as if I was not telling the truth. I didn’t not care for their hotel and if I could go back I would definitely chose a different place to stay.

Good location - walkable to most tourist attractions. Really nice cafe across the street. Small rooms, but clean, quiet, and nice. Amazing pool area with a view of the Collesuim. It closes at dusk which is unfortunate - but it is really nice up there, especially after a long hot day of siteseeing.

This hotel is a lovely oasis away from the tourist areas of Rome. There is a shuttle bus into the centre which is very efficient and we used this every day. Well worth it. The rooms are spacious and very comfortable, although dated and we found it very strange that they provided every amenity apart from the two essentials we like in a room - tea/coffee making tray and bottles of water. They did supply 2 tiny bottles which were it till the next day which was nowhere near enough for 30 degrees heat! Very odd for a 5 star hotel to restrict water bottles.... On arrival, we were told our luggage would be sent up to our room but after an hour waiting, went to concierge to try and locate our cases but were told they were too busy and would have to wait till they brought them up. Couldn't take cases up ourselves. The staff in the foyer bar and light dining were excellent and the cocktails were first class. As were the housekeeping staff on our floor who always greeted us with a smile and 'buongiorno'. Breakfast was served either at pool terrace or inside and was extensive choice and very good quality . The scrambled eggs were the best we have ever had in a hotel! Overall we enjoyed our stay at the Cavalieri and would definitely return .

Located in the Trieste district, a little far from the typical attractions of Rome, but very well connected by both bus and subway, I recommend it because it is a very comfortable, clean hotel with an excellent breakfast.
