I continued to work out, and after my workout I went to a Chinese restaurant, Sichuan Bawang, which has been open for 39 years and has never changed its address. Was perfect for what we needed. It could've been a little cleaner, and the toiletries were not excellent - glad we brought our own this time. The hotel offered free luggage storage, which was great as we arrived around 10 am. The bar closed at 11 inside the hotel & didn't serve food. :( Elevator took a while to get on since there were only 2, and they always seemed busy. It wasn't too noisy - especially for New York. Great location - Carnegie Diner was just two blocks away. Also close to Seraphina, Ellen's Stardust Diner & Times Square.

I came to NYC to watch my daughter dance. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay here. Not only was my room large, it was clean and comfortable which made it easy to feel at home. After getting off the bus, I felt that there were many people around the hotel and it was quite chaotic. The hotel reception was on the 5th floor. After checking the Internet in the room, I felt that I lived in the wrong place. I traveled by UBER in the next few days and didn't dare to take the subway. The hotel should be a high-end one nearby, and the Apollo Theater is next to it. I stayed for 5 or 6 days, but I didn't go around the hotel, so it's inconvenient to make too many comments. It's just that there are many black people outside the hotel, and beggars occasionally approached me. I didn't encounter any unpleasant things around the hotel.

Booked the W because I’m familiar with the brand and it was a good price for the space! My sister and brother ended up staying with myself and my husband - and everyone had more than enough room. It was perfect location, just steps from Times Square and in the middle of all the NYC sights☺️ Views from the 47th floor were insane- my only recommendation to the hotel would be to wash the windows as they were super smudgy. I was only able to take this attached pic when I opened the window a crack. When we are in NYC again, we’ll book the W without a doubt!

I love Arlo. I stay at Arlo pretty often. But this time was off. I came back to my room in the evening, they cleaned it, but they didn’t take out the trash from the terrace and it started the rain. And I didn’t have coffee capsules (pods) at all. I called to reception and girl was like oh do you have a coffee machine in your room I was like yes I do. And a guy came at 11pm and was cleaning the terrace.
