|2.48km from city center1. Breakfast: Canal street cafe in the lobby, completely Western-style! 2. Not suitable for bringing children (casino hotel); 3. The hotel location is not convenient and the surrounding environment is general; the hotel parking lot is large and hotel guests are free! Hotel room soundproof! 4, recommend friends who like ”small gambling”

|1.54km from city centerAs far as hotels go… a unique concept. Some positives, some negatives, of which one – hotel management’s inadequate response to a significant problem – caused me and my wife to checkout after two nights of what was supposed to be a four-night stay. Our room was a junior suite on the top floor and was good-sized and had nice furnishings. We thought the food and service in the restaurants and bar were good (thumbs-up to Kate), the valets and bell staff hustled, and there is interesting artwork on some of the floors. All good things. On the downside: A few days prior to check-in we received an email offering us an early check-in for an extra $25. Not needing early check-in, we arrived at the posted 3pm check-in time. Our room wasn’t ready for another 35-40 minutes. Certainly a mixed message. The front desk staff are definitely hit-or-miss in terms of friendliness. There was no fan in the bathroom to help manage steam from the shower. The bathroom window is opaque but has no shade. As a result, at night, light from the highway adjacent to the hotel comes into the bathroom and continues into the sleeping area through the opaque glass shower wall. While the glass shower wall is opaque, it makes the shower far from private. Not a problem for us, but others might disagree. Also, the freight trains that run on the double tracks immediately adjacent to the hotel are noisy. I don’t want to have to wear a mask and earplugs to get a good night’s sleep in what is supposed to be a luxury hotel. Why the horrible rating and not just a mediocre one? Shortly after 8:00pm on our second night we smelled smoke in our sixth-floor room. Because the smell grew worse, at 8:45 I called the front desk. The person I spoke with explained that on nights when there is no breeze, smoke from the restaurant's “hearth” will drift up the side of the building and into the room. They had a ready explanation. In other words, they knew the smoke could be a problem but have done nothing about it. At 10:30pm I called again and asked to speak to the manager on duty. Unfortunately, the only manager in the building works in food and beverage and isn't that well versed in other aspects of managing the hotel. Regardless, I asked her to come to the room so she could establish for herself that I wasn't exaggerating about the eye-stinging, headache-causing smoky air. She and the restaurant's banquet manager did come upstairs and did acknowledge that the smoke was a problem. For a number of reasons - some the hotel’s, some ours - changing rooms at that hour wasn't a viable option. We were assured by the manager we were speaking with that she would write a detailed email for the hotel manager coming in the next day and that that manager would call us “first the in the morning.” I’m writing this review four mornings later. We are still waiting for that call.

|12.34km from city centerThe front desk and the bed were the best things about this hotel. 1) The paring lot was poorly maintained and snow was improperly removed. It was a hazard for your ankles. It would be easy to twist or strain your ankle going to the car. 2) The table was not receiving proper maintenance. The leg bolts were not tightened and the desk was rickety. 3) The end table drawers were not wiped out. One had dust and grime all over it. 4) There was medication from a previous patron on the floor. This could have been really problematic if we had a pet. 5) The towel rack was not mounted to the wall. It was laying on the bathroom floor. 6) The internet was horrible. a) They do not have enough band width for the size of the hotel. b) The service they have outsourced the internet too is not very responsive. It has been 48 hours and they still have not dispatched engineering to fix the problem. ( I got better service from the hot.el next door's wifi then this hotels wifi.) IFYOU NEED INTERNET AXCESS AVOID THIS HOTEL

|9.99km from city centerVery close to the airport, convenient, the hotel is very cost-effective, the room is clean, breakfast is good at the same price hotel I arrived at the airport at 12 o'clock in the evening. I waited for 40 minutes to see the shuttle bus of the hotel, called the hotel, and finally asked me to find another company's car at the airport. I took more than an hour to get on the hotel car.

|0.68km from city centerDuring my recent stay at Journeyman, I was thoroughly impressed with the overall service, but I have to give special recognition to Jared, the valet. From the moment I arrived, Jared went above and beyond to make sure everything was seamless. Not only was he incredibly polite and welcoming, but he also handled my car with great care and efficiency, making sure it was always ready when I needed it. Each time I interacted with Jared, he was friendly and attentive, offering help with luggage and even providing great local recommendations. His attention to detail and genuine willingness to assist guests stood out as a highlight of my stay. Jared truly represents the kind of service that elevates a hotel experience, and I hope Journeyman recognizes the asset they have in him. If you're staying here, rest assured that you'll be in good hands.

|9.06km from city centerWe went there for the Wild Subaru kite festival in Milwauree and we were lodging at this hotel. Very nice room and super comfortable huge bed. A small bar and restaurant. A nice inside pool. Wide parking. The hotel is nearby the airport, of cource, but also several restaurants around. Unlike many hotels that use covid as an excuse not to provide service (and rase prices), this hotel offers daily room cleaning.

|12.76km from city centerFantastic customer service (which is normal for this brand of hotel in my opinion) From Josh at the front desk to Lee the GM, they went over and above to accommodate my family for my daughter’s graduation. I switched from Hilton to IHG a few years back and never turned back. This hotel was very clean but that was no surprise as I have yet to stay at a Holiday Inn that wasn’t. The breakfast was hot and fresh and exactly what we needed to get the day rolling. Thanks again to the staff here for all their hard work and for making my family comfortable. You guys ROCK!!!

|3.7km from city centerHad to book a room quickly on Christmas Eve due to sick family member. First were given keys that would not work, which is really no problem. Had to get new keys and for some reason, was assigned to a new room. The doors of the rooms looked so cheap and beat up. Room was satisfactory. Upon rising in the morning, discovered that the shower/tub would not work. Not one drop of water! So had to show up on Christmas Day with no shower. Would not issue refund because we booked through trip.com. So advise: Check the shower IMMEDIATELY upon arriving if you plan to be clean in the morning.

|3.18km from city centerDisappointing to say the least. The Sonesta website depicts this property as an upscale hotel boast ”all the amenities you could wish for in such a prime location” and ”our full-service restaurant and lounge will surely satisfy” (both are copied from their webpage on 3/28/22). The reality is: The rooms do not have a microwave of mini fridge. The Amorie (stand alone closet) is more suited for a motel-6. The on-site restaurant has been closed for several months and is not expected to open until May (??). The snacks that are offered at the ”pantry” are both minimal and overpriced. When asked about somewhere to eat - the ONLY place within walking distance was another hotel which was several hundred yards across two parking lots ( Do this at night with your wife when the wind chill is in the teens w/ a biting wind, light snow and sleet ). BTW - this is not available on Sundays. I understand Covid -19 has been tough on businesses, but at least update your website ! ! Two prominent signs state facemasks must be worn in all public places. However, no one at the registration desk (or any other staff) wore a mask. Far too many little things went horribly wrong during our stay. Several clerks at the registration desk were wonderful and did try to make up for the poor experience, but unfortunately were not able to do so.

|1.92km from city centerThis was not my first stay at the Four Points by Sheraton and it will not be the last. Our stay was pleasant upon entry. The young woman who checked us in was friendly and efficient. Our room was clean, the beds were comfortable, and we slept great. I got up early and, upon the recommendation from the clerk, took a short walk in the park across the street. We did not use many amenities as we checked in late and left fairly early to meet family, but the scent of food coming from the restaurant in the morning was certainly tempting!

|0.32km from city centerMy husband and I travel to Milwaukee each year for his birthday. We chose this hotel for its location in proximity to our dinner reservation and the attractions we had planned. There were several negative reviews for this hotel regarding check in, cleanliness, and parking, I'd like to share my feedback to ensure travelers do not deter from staying at this hotel for those reasons. Upon arrival we were promptly greeted by a friendly front desk staff and were able to check in promptly at 4pm. We were able to conveniently park in their side lot while we brought our belongings up to our room. The room was extremely spacious and had beautiful upgrades and convenient amenities such as a full kitchen. The high ceilings really made this room unique. Everything in the room was very clean. There is a parking garage directly across from the hotel which was easy to access and only cost $22.00 a night to park. When staying in downtown MKE it is to be expected that you will pay for parking, and knowing our car was in a covered garage was peace of mind. We choose to Uber to our destinations, so we didn't have to find parking multiple times, and we never had to wait more than a few minutes for our ride to arrive. My only disappointment was there was no happy hour. I was under the impression there was a cocktail hour offered, but it didn't take away from our stay, as there were several liquor stores within walking distance to grab a drink for the room while we got ready. Breakfast in the morning was plentiful with options, fresh, hot, and the egg bites were delicious. The last thing I will add which is huge for me, they have complimentary water, hot water for tea, and coffee in the lobby at all times. I hate forgetting to bring a water bottle for the middle of the night when staying at a hotel, so I loved this feature. I would absolutely stay at this hotel again in the future! Don't let the negative reviews sway your decision. This was a beautiful, newly converted hotel that you should absolutely check out next time you are staying in the area.

|2.87km from city centerWe had the small queen bed room but to had all that we needed... clean bathroom, good water pressure, great pillows and mattresses, plus mini fridge and coffee machine. The hotel overall is really cool. They lean into it's 1930's roots big time with the art deco style coming through. I loved the soft big band/crooner music playing in the lobby, vintage wall sconces, elevators with cool double doors, and a couple of eateries that have 1930's looks. Great vibe at this place! You can park in the parking garage for $20. The neighborhood isn't the best (in Milwaukee you have a 50/50 chance for that to be true) but they have security here for the car lot. First time here but not the last.

|0.26km from city centerHorrific Experience – Removed from Hotel for Reporting Noise I am deeply upset with my recent business travel stay at this hotel. If I could give ZERO STARS, I would. From the beginning, I had issues despite requesting a quiet room in advance. Instead, we were placed in a room facing the interstate, and the noise was unbearable. The next morning, we were thankfully moved to a different room, but that night, we were repeatedly woken up by loud partiers outside of the hotel lobby( on Hotel property) . At 4 am My husband had to speak to the front desk, but the staff was unwilling to address the situation, so he had to go outside and ask the people to quiet down himself. The situation worsened the following day. After returning from our business meetings (this was a business trip), we were greeted by a loud party in the room next door. I called the front desk, asked for the manager and was told no manager was on duty on the weekends . The person I spoke to suggested they would give the guests a warning, though it’s unclear whether they actually did. The noise continued, so I knocked on their door very politely, even wishing them a happy birthday, and asked them to be considerate. They said they were leaving soon, and things did quiet down – but then we received an outrageous phone call from the front desk, warning us not to knock on the neighbor's door again, or we would be removed from the hotel! To my complete shock, about 15 minutes later, the Milwaukee Police Department knocked on our door, informing us that we were being removed from the hotel. The officer told us that management had ordered our removal from the property. Keep in mind, from the time I asked my neighbor to be considerate of the noise to the time the police knocked on my door was less than 30 minutes. I was in tears, in complete disbelief, and in utter shock at how we were treated. As an Honors member of the Hilton brand, I never expected to be treated like this, especially when we had done nothing wrong but ask our neighbors to be considerate. To make matters worse, the front desk clerk who facilitated our removal falsely claimed to be a manager and refused to provide her name. She even lied and said we were warned twice. We were escorted off the property by the police and left to find alternative accommodations late at night. Adding insult to injury, despite my repeated attempts to contact Hilton Corporate (I actually have a case number) and the general manager of the hotel via phone and email, I have received no response. This lack of accountability and decency is absolutely appalling, and I remain in shock over how we were treated. I am extremely disappointed and feel utterly disrespected by this entire experience. This is not the service I expect from Hilton, especially as a loyal customer and Honors member. If you’re staying for business, do not stay here. If you are here to party, this is the place for you. This hotel doesn’t care about their guests, and apparently nei

|1.03km from city centerOur stay at the County Clare was one of the highlights of our road trip to Milwaukee! While we've never been to Ireland, when you step inside you feel like you may have been transported to a classic Irish Inn with the dark wood, green and gold decor, and the vintage Guinness posters. The room was comfortable and quaint from the giant bed, a soaking tub (with jets), and some additional vintage decor. We ate dinner the first night at the Inn and it was solid comfort food with a good variety of beers on tap in addition to the traditional styles you'd expect to find at an Irish Inn. The breakfast which is included in your stay is a selection of pastries along with a made to order omelet bar that you don't want to miss. Breakfast starts at 8am, so if you want something other than room coffee, there is a fantastic coffee shop about two blocks away called Fairgrounds. Overall, a fantastic find in Milwaukee at a very reasonable price.

|0.49km from city centerI was very disappointed with this hotel. We arrived late (11:30pm) on Thursday, August 15th and they put us in a room that I had not requested. The air didn't work and the outlets were questionable. I have a CPAP machine, so I need reliable power. We were so tired, we just went to bed. The next morning the heat was unbearable in the room. I went down and requested a different room and explained why. The lady at the front desk was very friendly and gave me a different room. She did say, ”I don't like our rooms”. Kind of shocking, but not. The new room was what I had requested in the first place and it was much better than the first room. Well, the fan in the bathroom didn't work so that was a problem as we had to crack the door for showers as to not overheat. Overall, the hotel is very dated. The carpet is dirty in the hallways and the rooms. The staff is not very friendly over all. In my opinion they should shut this hotel down and do a complete gut job. Get new, friendly. The coffee was terrible...yeah I know that's petty, but come on. I will never stay at this hotel again. Even with a discount as a Hilton Honors member, I would rather pay $200 more and go somewhere else.

|11.34km from city centerI’m on the fence about this review. When I checked in, the staff was friendly but didn’t explain anything, didn’t mention breakfast or any amenities, just checked me in. I had to ask what room I was in.. She didn’t tell me the cost just asked for my credit card, it wasn’t until my card company texted me about the charge did I realize I was charged more than what I booked the room for. I checked my reservation and I was charged $25 more. When I went back to ask another clerk, she explained there’s a $25 incidental charge that will drop off after check out. Oh ok, no big deal but the first gal didn’t mention it at all. When I booked the room, under special requests, I asked for a quiet room as we are traveling with a 9 month old, I’m in the room directly connected to the pool area, not exactly the quietist room, especially since I reserved the room weeks ago. Also, the room is very bright from the parking lot lights, even with both the shades drawn, I’m hoping the baby isn’t up all night because I can clearly see all the way across the room and it’s 10pm. The last thing is when the air conditioner turns on it blows directly onto the bed. Like I said, I am on the fence. I have no complaints about the condition or cleanliness of the hotel, seems very nice, and the staff gave a great recommendation for dinner. There are just a few small things that when added together could make for a rough night.

|8.91km from city centerI literally just checked in & am THOROUGHLY DISGUSTED! If I wasn't in town to see my sister in ICU, thus booking this crap at the last minute on a tight budget, I'd raise cane & go next door! Although they have you agree to NO SMOKING, the hallway & room 272 REEKS OF SMOKE & MUSTY CARPET/TEXTILES! The bathroom has NOT BEEN CLEANED, with mold in the toilet, previous guest's debris ON THE TOILET, coffee stains on the counter & dirt on the floor. I couldn't stand to take my coat off let alone unpack anything in that room. So I immediately called front desk and asked if any rooms in the hotel have never been smoked in for me to move, otherwise I'd have to leave. The receptionist was kind enough to move me to room 373 which, although dated & has a broken chair arm, did not smell smoked in. It would just have to do at the last minute. The wifi was also spotty for a WFH person trying to handle business & it went down completely 1 day, causing me to lose 1.5 hours of work. I was glad to check out after 6 nights uuugh.
