Downstairs is next to a breakfast shop, the roast meat and white chicken are absolutely delicious, especially delicious. The hotel is very clean, and the accommodation is satisfactory. Chulia heritage hotel has been very thoughtful, the day before I arrive they sent me WhatsApp massage to update me some informations. After a night's stay, they text me again asking if I prefer housekeeping service, which was quite approachable when I have certain requests. The guards has been very helpful too with the parking and help to open the room doors when needed. Although the street right outside is noisy as nightlife there is quite happening, but the hotel rooms we were staying in is quiet and good for rest. Besides for the hotel lobby has nothing much, toilet room a bit small and furnitures are limited in the room, but overall it's still quite a positive experience for a budget trip. 😊

The hotel has a very good location in Georgetown and easily accessible to all places of interest. Nice n cozy vibe to rest and relax in. It comes with double-pane glass to minimize road or outside environmental noise n you will still hear a bit of sound from the mosque nearby but it has been greatly reduced and you won’t noticed it if you are asleep.. tv channels a bit limited and no smart tv for u to use YouTube or Netflix. Receptionist Thara is very helpful and speaks fluent English.

We stayed at Room 9, a terrace suite with traditional peranakan styled living room and two bedrooms with attached toilets. The staff at front desk is very friendly at helpful. The terrace suite is very big, nice, clean and comfortable. Location is very good within easy walking distance to tourist spots at Love Lane, Lebuh Chulia, Lebuh King, Lebuh Queen, Jalan Penang, Lebuh Armenian. Lebuh Light etc No parking at Muntri Mews so if you drive, you have to park at the public carpark lots along the street which you have to download Penang Smart Parking App, top up can be done at 7Eleven, parking fee is 80 cents RM per hour or 6 RM per day. Everything is good except the mosquitoes through the toilet ventilation opening at the first room.

It's a cosy hotel suitable for all age range travellers. Be it cleanliness, or the services, I like the environment there alot. I also like the washing machine and dryer provided in the big bathroom. Only suggestion is should put 1 bottle of mineral in room in case Traveller cant find the water dispenser right after the lift.

This is a newly opened homestay with unique decoration and cleanliness. We are a family of three and booked a terrace room. The terrace is very large, suitable for children to play or to sit and enjoy the breeze at night. The room is fully equipped with toothbrushes, razors, hair dryers, hangers, etc. The furniture is solid wood, the mattress is latex, the quilt is down, and the pillows are two latex and two down. The bedding is clean and the sleep is very comfortable. The location is also very convenient. There is a commercial street for dining in 7 or 8 minutes on foot. There is a night market in the commercial street at night, and there are also durian carts, but they basically close at 10:30. The mural street, the surname bridge and the blue house are not far away, and it takes more than ten minutes to walk there. The service of the homestay is very enthusiastic, and the front desk can speak Chinese. I stayed here for three nights and it was very comfortable. Good reviews~

I recently stayed at The Granite Luxury Hotel and unfortunately, my experience was far from what I expected from a luxury hotel. Upon arrival, I noticed several issues in my room: - The bathroom light was flickering non-stop, making it uncomfortable to use. - There was visible mold and unidentified stains in the bathroom, which raised serious hygiene concerns. - The clothing rack was rusted and looked like it hadn’t been maintained in years. - Inside the cabinet, I found broken pieces, which was both inconvenient and disappointing. I reported these issues to the front desk late at night. For a hotel that claims to offer luxury accommodations, the lack of cleanliness, maintenance, and responsiveness was unacceptable. I hope the management takes these concerns seriously and improves their standards to ensure a better experience for future guests.

Very clean and comfortable room. The location is good with parking. They also allows pets with a charge. We and our dogs enjoy our stay here. The breakfast is delicious and the pool is good. The front office staff are friendly and helpful, especially Edric. The only bad thing is the wifi which kept logging off if not used for few minutes. We will be back here!

I really llke this hotel. The rooms are small but very clean. The floors are hardwood. You probably can describe it as quaint. The staff is very friendly and will go out of their way to help you. You do have to remove your shoes in the lobby and place in a secure locker. Living in Bangkok, I understand this completely. It keeps the city dirt off the stairway and out of the rooms; thus the floors in the hallways and rooms are meticulously clean. The location is perfect and quiet for being in the city. Abundant restaurants all around. Also they do have 5G wifi that was pretty stable compared to other places. I have nothing bad to say about this hotel.

I am very pleased with size and cleanliness of my room. Worth the price. Located nearby food stalls. Amenities include self-service laundry, massage place, and also a cafe situated in the lobby itself. Superb. The uncle at the counter however is not very friendly. On the last day of my stay, I could not sleep as there is a machine-gun like metal sound outside my window. It is nearby the hotel. I called reception. Same Uncle answered. He say there is no such noise downstairs. He could have investigated, or even come up to my room to find out where it is coming from but instead he did nothing. Noise continued for an hour until it subsided. Shaking my head at the service.

There is no on-site staff service, and there is no immediate response when I encounter problems. In addition, I accidentally discovered that the price of the room I booked a month in advance was actually higher than that of the same period within a week. The difference in price is more than 100 RMB per night. Even if I book in advance, it is nearly 900 RMB more than the one I booked a few days ago. The price difference is nearly 1/3, which is staggering. Is the service downgraded, or is it a fattened sheep? Travel with my mom to Penang first time. The hotel was chosen because it’s just a few steps away from Gurney Plaza. Free ice creams were served when we arrived and checked in hotel. The room at high floor is very spacious. However, the facilities are quite simple consider it’s a five star hotel. The washroom is not user friendly especially for oldies. First day after showering, we found bath towels got stains. We informed hotel service staff, they came to changed them immediately with apologies. The room has sea view, the breakfasts are nice and tasty. It’s a pleasant stay overall, will consider to visit again next time!
