A beautiful quiet retreat, very relaxed atmosphere. Pan (แผน) was so helpful arranging transport for us, and as we were leaving the island quite late, he helped arrange a private tour of the island. In the mornings you can hear elephants from the sanctuary and gibbons in the distance. Unfortunately doesn't seem to be in the right location for a lot of the organized tours to agree to pick you up, they seem to think anywhere 'up the hill' is out of bounds! The food was very good for both breakfast and evening meals. It's not easy to visit other restaurants or convenience stores without transport, but the hotel reception are happy to help arrange drop off and pick up for you. We were 2 couples sharing adjoining rooms, the only criticism we can find is if anything the seating in the rooms was a little uncomfortable if you want to relax I front of the TV, but not really a problem, and we could have done with more space in the refrigerator to keep water cool.

The atmosphere at BBVC is serene, deeply rooted in Buddhist principles. The morning and evening meditation sessions create a grounding energy, and the staff—students in training—are as warm as they are professional. The rooms are simple but comfortable, offering a homestead or farmstay vibe. I also took part in the evening meditation sessions, which helped center myself and embrace mindfulness. Staying at BBVC isn’t just about enjoying Koh Samui—it’s about having a positive impact while stepping away from the busier parts of the island. If you’re looking for a unique experience that blends relaxation with purpose, I highly recommend it to anyone who values meaningful travel! (Quick tip: I got lost in the jungle, so make sure to enter the full name of the school on Google Maps—it will take you to the correct location, not the one up the mountain along a dirt track.) :)

I don't allow anyone to know this hotel! I stayed in Kimpton, Slavadi, and this for a week in Koh Samui. It's really a surprise. First of all, this hotel is on the mountain near the herb garden. Just take a taxi. It is suitable for pure relaxation! Unfortunately, I booked here for a day, I regret it, I should bring Slavadi to come over for a day, it is really great here, especially the wind blowing at night is so beautiful, there is a big cloakroom in the room! A big dressing table for all girls! ! Here you can watch the sunset, you can also take a taxi down the mountain. We saw a lot of fruit sellers on the way to the intercontinental restaurant. When we came back to turndown service after dinner, and my messy cloakroom was all sorted out. I really cried to death, great, great, and then breakfast is not self-service, It is an optional package. I chose the Thai style. I chose the American style. It was enough. The orange juice and watermelon juice were unlimited. I took the SLR. The staff also enthusiastically helped us take pictures. I loved it. The sisters ordered it! ! ! There is nothing wrong with it except a little far away! There is also a cinema billiard room or something. Next time I come, I will just hang it here for a week. It's so cool!

Every morning when I wake up and see the beautiful scenery outside the window, my mood improves. The infinity pool is really cool and my friends and I had a great time. The service team is also great and can provide Chinese service. The staff are very enthusiastic and helped us solve many minor problems. The food in the villa is also excellent. The seafood for dinner is particularly fresh, and there are many varieties for breakfast. It is very satisfying. All in all, this vacation experience was really great!

My husband and I had the most amazing stay here. The staff were extremely friendly and did everything they could to make sure our stay was memorable. The room was clean and the pool was incredible. The hotel had subscriptions to all the streaming services like Netflix so you can relax after a long day. The hotel brought breakfast to our room every morning, it was fresh and tasty. Next to the hotel is an amazing beachfront restaurant with access to the beach and a supermarket just a 5 minute walk away. the hotel also has in room dining available. It’s a little far to some places on the island but the hotel offered tours and excursions and had a bike/car rental program. It was also cheap to take taxis around using the grab app. Next time I visit Koh Samui, I will definitely stay in this hotel again.

The location is excellent, but the hotel itself is practically abandoned - the impression that the owners are no longer interested in the hotel business. The territory is launched, on the garden site now hydroponica, where salad and something like that are grown. Cleaning once every three days if lucky, but it is often forgotten, even if reminded in the morning. Restaurant is no longer, so eat somewhere else. Overall, from good - only location. I don't recommend.

Hello ! This is my third time staying at this hotel, I really like all the staff, the peaceful atmosphere, cleanliness and thoughtfulness. The breakfasts are also very captivating, they are in a buffet format and there are enough dishes to choose from and good coffee. The hotel has two different swimming pools located in two buildings that differ in style and one is more “party”, and the second is quieter. The hotel is very well cleaned, good bed linen. Of the minuses of this particular trip in the hottest month - April, I would only note that it is not on the first line, as I am too lazy to go there in such heat, but I would like to note that the hotel is only 50 meters from it. And in bad weather (November), the location of the hotel, on the contrary, was advantageous, because there was wind and storm all around, and inside the hotel it was quiet and you could spend time and swim by the pool! I think this is a great option for Lamai, where everything is done with people in mind! Thanks to all the staff

Pros: quite a good location, peaceful beach and very serene atmosphere, two friendly ladies at reception Cons: I spent at the place less then 12h and got a text on WhatsApp from the hotel reservation manager(!!!) Aoffy , who without any explanation said they’d check me out the next morning instead of 4 nights since there was a mistake with the booking and the price I payed was lower than it should be. He also said- we were generous enough to check you in (!!!) “because it was late and you are a lady”, not because I paid! Ridiculous service and attitude, I booked the place 9 days in advance and since I used to work in hospitality before, I know that they were supposed to check my booking including the room rate, if there was any problem with it, they were supposed to contacted Trip or Expedia and solve it upfront, instead of not throwing their back office problems onto their guests! He was very rude and definitely under qualified for this position. He was attacking and annoying me on WhatsApp, I asked him to send me a formal email with the explanation and contact details of their GM and he disappeared. 6h later Trip finally solved the problem and I stayed there for three more nights but the impression was ruined and I just didn’t feel welcome there. It also felt like there was no enough stuff at the restaurant, sometimes you’d have to go to reception to ask for someone to come over and sell you a bottle of water.

Breakfast is served by the chef at the time of the pre-arranged time to come to the villa and cook it yourself. It feels like eating at home! The menu is not very varied, and it's about breakfast that you eat simply, such as bacon/sorcelain/cereal/egg fries/fruits. There is a pool in each villa, but there is a little regret that it would have been better if there was a main pool with a beach view available to all guests. Anyway, I enjoyed my trip with my family in a really long time.
