The Trafalgar St. James, London Curio Collection by Hilton
St James London | 0.17km from Institute of Contemporary Arts
Unfortunately. There will be mostly criticism.
I stayed at the hotel from 26.04 to 30.04.
Booked through trip.com
The cost of the room was about 1550 € for 4 nights without breakfast for a standard room with a view of the square for 2 adults.
Unfortunately, in this hotel, if you are with a stroller, you cannot just enter the hotel, there are steps. If you are with a regular baby stroller then this is not a big problem, but if you are a person in a wheelchair then it is a problem.
And nowhere is it said about this.
Breakfast is on the 6th floor, but when you arrive on floor number 6 you will see stairs that you cannot climb if you are in a wheelchair, and if you are with a child in a stroller then you will have to carry the stroller to the top.
Therefore, think carefully about whether it makes sense to pay for breakfast if you are with a child in a stroller.
The reception staff won't tell you about this, they will try to sell you breakfast considering that they will see that you are with a stroller.
About the room, the room itself is spacious, but it does not have a view of the city, only of the neighboring building.
There is also no heated floors in the toilet, so you will have to use slippers.
The water pressure in the toilet is very weak, I don’t understand why there is a bath there since you will still be taking it in lukewarm water.
The room cleaning is excellent.
Free minibar includes 4 bottles of water and 4 small colas and is replenished daily.
Our windows overlooked the same view of the city and it was quite noisy in the evening.
The doormen are great and very responsive. Thanks to them for this work.
We also encountered a situation in which they could not check us in at 14:00, but instead they tried to offer us another room with an upgraded category.
We refused and had to wait until 15:00. This is the first time we have had such an experience.
Also, there are no adapters in the room, if you come from Europe, you will have to ask for them at the reception, they didn’t think about leaving one adapter in the room.
The room has USB ports. But if you are with type C, then there will be problems.
Also sometimes you have to wait too long for the elevator.
To summarize, I’m not sure that all of the above is worth the money.
The location is great.
The main attractions in the area are within a 10 minute walk.
Victoria station 25 minutes walk.
But considering all of the above, the impression of the hotel was very strange. And I'm not sure that this hotel is worth the money they are asking.
This is my first negative experience with Marriott hotels.

Sofitel London St James Hotel
St James London | 0.19km from Institute of Contemporary Arts
The hotel I have admired for a long time🏨 is in a very advantageous location in London. As soon as I entered, I was struck by a combination of retro and modern charm, which I really liked. English aesthetics, colorful plaid decoration, the hotel is covered with flowers💐 and colors, full of artistic atmosphere. The tea and snacks in the lobby🈶 a rose room are very unique. Breakfast is behind a rather secret door in the lobby. It is very beautiful inside. The morning is full of sunshine. It is half self-service and half order, and it is also delicious😋
The room is small (this is the case throughout the whole trip), and the orientation is not good, but the room I booked is also average price.

Haymarket Hotel, Firmdale Hotels
Theatreland London | 0.24km from Institute of Contemporary Arts
A quiet hotel in the middle of noisy, the location is very convenient, go out is the popular neighborhood and Chinatown. Arrived at 12 o'clock in the middle of the night, the front desk staff is also particularly enthusiastic. The decoration style of the lobby and bedroom of this hotel is particularly liked. The hotel is very careful, handwritten cards, and complimentary notebooks are worth taking away.

Great Scotland Yard Hotel, Part of Hyatt
Buckingham Palace London | 0.31km from Institute of Contemporary Arts
I don’t like to write reviews very much, but I really want to write about this hotel seriously to make it easier for Chinese people to choose.
The location is particularly convenient, with Big Ben, the London Eye, the National Gallery, etc. within walking distance. For public transportation, there is a subway station within a 6-minute walk and a bus stop in front of the hotel.
The hotel is small but exquisite, with five-star hygiene standards
The bedding is comfortable, I like the softness of the mattress and pillows, and the wrapping is very good. It was easy to fall asleep, but I was a little tired when I woke up
The service is very good, enthusiastic and patient.
There is a beautiful cafe called Caffe Concerto next to the hotel, and the breakfast is also good. We had it for two days in a row. The famous breakfast restaurant the Wolseley is not far away, it’s great!
Overall, highly recommended! ! Especially the best choice when visiting London for the first time

The Z Hotel Piccadilly
Theatreland London | 0.32km from Institute of Contemporary Arts
It was so small that we could barely open two suitcases.
The shower had no steps, so the water flowed all the way into the toilet.
There was no tissue paper, which was inconvenient.
However, the location was good. I felt at ease because there was a Japanese person at the front desk.

Club Quarters Hotel Trafalgar Square, London
London | 0.34km from Institute of Contemporary Arts
I always stay at this hotel every time I go to London. It is right outside the subway station, opposite Trafalgar Square, and only a dozen minutes' walk from Chinatown and Soho. The Thames is just a few minutes in the opposite direction, and Big Ben and the London Eye can be seen in ten minutes. However, among hotels with the same geographical location and comfortable environment, this one is the cheapest! !

The Grand at Trafalgar Square
London | 0.34km from Institute of Contemporary Arts
Good location, right next to Trafalgar Square, next to Tesco express and Macdonald. The hotel room is also large. Friendly service, you can order Chinese food with just eat. The room has a microwave. Hygiene is average, seems gray, and the bathroom has a slight odor. There is no own parking lot. There is a cooperative parking lot on the other side of the square. You can park temporarily at the door and drop your luggage before going to the parking lot. Parking is 44 pounds a day and about 37 pounds with a hotel coupon. There are actually two hotels here, one is grand and the other is cq. I booked grand but lived in Cq. I do n’t know how to arrange it. When the hotel is not busy, it is sold at 7-800, and the price is good. After all, it is close to the Thames and other attractions.

We stayed at the Londoner for 2 nights. This hotel is perfect to enjoy living in the great city center of London.
We stayed in the corner suite which is really spacious and comfortable.
The swimming pool area is really pleasant to have a relaxing time.
We ordered food from the dine in service but it was not that tasty.
I recommend this hotel for all couple that would like a good experience in the city center of London.

4.0/5Very Good
The EDITION has always been a simple boutique hotel style, and the HK front desk lady is very awesome.
The room facilities are indeed high-end and exquisite, and the bed is very comfortable
The location is also very good. It is the most satisfactory one among the three hotels we stayed in (The Shard, Bulgari, and Mandarin).
However, the service feels not as warm and sincere as Wenhua
I had a lovely stay here. Location lil bit out of town (zone 2/3)but public transport is accessable. Greenwich is a nice neighbourhood too anyway. Hotel room is so clean, well equipped and most importantly 50-70% cheaper than hotel zone 1.
Good breakfast, very traditional English breakfast. The room environment is OK, that is, there is a dead corner in hygiene. On the first floor, there is a garden with good ventilation.
Amazing front desk and housekeeping team! There’s a lady from Bangladesh who has big smiles and very helpful when we have late lunch at the lobby restaurant. One thing that I don’t really like is that there’s a scaffolding wrapping around the entire hotel and they started the drilling and pounding work at 9 am sharp.
The hotel room was clean and spacious and had everything we deserve. The location was ok. There is a supermarket nearby. Service super friendly and satisfying. Equipment very good.

The location is very convenient. It is very close to King's Cross Railway Station or subway. The room is not large and there is no small refrigerator. If you live in the lobby, you will hear loud noises at night, the wifi speed is a bit slow, and if you leave your luggage for more than 24 Hours need to go to a specific website to make an appointment.
It was our anniversary we got there about 1pm and the kind lady at the reception her name is Clare she make sure we got the best of our anniversary thanks to her,Clare was very helpful and very friendly thanks once again would definitely book again
This property is excellent for SERVICE, excepetional staff , especially in the Executive Lounge, Victoria is the ultimate in professional with a sincere lovely personalitywith great suggestions of what to do in London and excellent knowledge of all the wonderful food in the lounge
