|0.65km from city centerTwo small episodes: Because I didn’t pay attention when booking, the single occupancy (even though it is a king-size bed) can only accommodate one person. If two people stay, an additional US$10 will be charged per day; key hotels do not charge debits below US$5 (inclusive). He said that he was afraid of counterfeit currency, and also had extremely high requirements for the neatness and damage of U.S. dollars. I would like to share this with fellow comrades in the future to clear mines.

|1.31km from city centerMy stay with Prem Lama Tamang at Silver Guest House was a fantastic experience. The staff were excellent and super friendly. The hotel was in a great location away from the hustle off Thamel. The business owners on the street are all super chilled and friendly. One might when I could not sleep they stayed up chatting with me showing me the local music and made me a drink to help me sleep. Next time I come to Kathmandu, this is the only place I am going to stay. Prem Tamang and co, you are legends!

Thamel
Kathmandu
|1.45km from city centerThe location is on the edge of the pedestrian street in Thamel District, close to the pedestrian street, and very quiet. However, the entrance is a bit shabby. There are many European and American guests staying. The breakfast is a combination of Indian and Western styles. There is an outdoor dining area where you can smoke. The front desk is a bit small and not atmospheric. The hotel is listed as a four-star hotel. The hotel's service staff have very good attitudes and have no problem communicating in English at the front desk.

Thamel
Kathmandu
|1.5km from city centerThis hotel is iright in the middle of the heart of Thamel. The best is not only the outlook of it, the hospitality is something that counts, the doorbell would run to help us when we had luggages to carry, with warm smiling face, those staff that serve us breakfast was very helpful, they made us like we were at home. The front desk was good too, and the manager was great, he was helpful to all our needs, and more important, not practical at all!
We were there for 3 visits, so we had tried 6 different rooms in this trip, all of them were good without complaint. We highly recomend this new hotel.

|3.56km from city centerWe looked for A hotel near the airport and assumed this would do. Upon arrival, the online price was lower than the price they offered at reception. After some back and forth we figured it out. The room smelled life a sewer pump was broken. I wanted to shower and there was no hot water. Called reception and they told me it took a little while for water to warm up. 20 min later the water was warm enough to shower but not nearly hot as I like to shower with hot water. Water pressure was meek and it took 20min to get the soap off my hair. Finally laid on a bed that was made of wood. Litterally no bounce on the mattress. The window pigeons made a cozy singing nest that was not compatible with our sleeping plans. I stayed because I was too exhausted to find a new hotel late in the evening but will never make that mistake again. On a positive note, the staff tried really hard to accommodate and was very friendly and attentive.

Kathmandu
|2.8km from city centerBecause I didn't catch the plane, I found a small hotel temporarily in the early morning.
facility:
Although the hotel is small, the hardware facilities are relatively good in Nepal, which is good.
There is air conditioning, hot water and card swipe door locks, which are advanced.
But there is no hair dryer either…
health:
I still saw the hair...
environment:
Room comfortable
Serve:
The breakfast provided is relatively simple (Picture 6 is the breakfast menu)
The service attitude of the staff at night is good, but the service attitude during the day is average.
In the evening, my friend in Kathmandu sent me to the hotel to pick up my luggage and take me to the airport. The hotel staff was even more hospitable.

|1.47km from city centerHotel very well located in Thamel. Refurbished with a massage spa area. The staff takes great care, and the director, Ram, is charming and efficient, and can organize your stay in Nepal in the best conditions. Excellent value for money. In addition, Ram is an endearing, caring and committed character, he is an active member of the Keep Nepal association, which works with the most deprived Nepalese. I recommend without hesitation

|3.64km from city centerSometimes lack of information when kept waiting for travel agency to turn up. Also I had booked for the hotel to pick me up at the airport. There was a man with a board with my name. He asked me for $25 dollars in front of the hotel driver saying it was for the taxi. It wasn’t at all. The hotel driver should have told me not to pay him!

Kathmandu
|1.33km from city centerThe Hotel Arts is a beautiful hotel in Thamel, Kathmandu. In writing this review I am taking into consideration the Nepal is a developing country so we cannot expect what we will get at home. PROS The artwork throughout the hotel is fantastic. The staff are brilliant and very accommodating particularly the bellhop, Bir Bahadur. He was friendly, humorous and so helpful. The location is ideal for exploring Thamel. The room was comfortable. The breakfasts were fantastic and included in the price of the room. CONS The website says each room has panoramic views. That was not the case unless you consider a concrete wall a panoramic view. The shower sprayed everywhere so we just used the tap to was ourselves. The bathroom was not cleaned particularly well during our stay. There is a bar there with an extensive cocktail list yet one afternoon we asked for a cocktail and were told only soft drink. We thought there might be a law about time you can buy a drink. On the second night we waited until after 6 to ask for a drink. This time we were told that the only cocktail available was a mojito which was more mint leaves than alcohol. There are plenty of other places around to have cocktails so it wasn't too much of an issue. Overall a good place to stay in Nepal just be aware that the standard rooms are basic.

|0.32km from city centerThe hostel is run by very lovely family, so it makes you feel almost like at home. We were lucky to be there during Divali and Tijar and were invited to celebrate it with them. We had really great time dancing with locals and artists like dancers and singers. They placed us on chairs just in front of the show. The family is very caring and makes sure you have everything you need. My husband after the treck to Mont Everest BC lost some weight so the lady cooked for him two times bigger breakfast and took care of him as her own son. We traveled around Nepal for couple of weeks and we had the facility to leave our unnecessary extra lagguage there so we traveled very light. The rooms were clean and good for backpackers like us. We had also warm shower, towels and laundry service. The only concern we had was that the roads around were very dusty so we had to wear masks to move around. Hopefully they will put soon concrete there so it will make the place even more attractive for backpackers. Overall it was a great stay and we really recommend it. Thank so much!

The o ly downside is that it first not have a lift so not suitable for those with mobility problems.

Kathmandu
|1.17km from city centerTHIS is a quality hotel from its spectacular rooftop bar and swimming pool right down to its graceful foyer and reception area. Facilities are only part of the story and the Mulberry's friendly and helpful staff are what turns a good hotel into a great hotel. They were exceptional. Nothing was too much trouble for them from the moment I arrived tired after more than twenty hours of travel to the moment I left to explore other parts of Nepal. At the core of relaxation was my lovely comfortable room with a huge double bed, good storage, a room safe and a spacious bathroom with a walk-in shower. Hot water at a good pressure was always available. The breakfast area offered a chance to eat either outside at tables near a little garden or inside at tables where attentive staff swiftly brought me a pot of chi. If you wanted omelettes or eggs then they were prepared freshly to order at a small outside cooking point. Inside guests could choose from a whole range of foods from fruit and meats to cereals, toast, jams, marmalades, yoghurts, fruit juices, Nepalese and international breakfast dishes. The choice was extensive. There is also a full quality restaurant for those who would like to savour an evening meal at the hotel. There were so many nice touches to underline a top class stay. For instance, I had bought a number of presents and souvenirs that I didn't really want to carry round with me for nearly a week to three other destinations. Not a problem, said the Mulberry, who agreed to store them all until my return to the hotel for my last night in Nepal. This they did and everything was safe and ready for me to pack away when I returned. The Mulberry is also sited in a great position to explore the city's Thamel area which can be viewed in all its glittering night-time glory from the rooftop bar area. I was able to enjoy the view and a leisurely local beer yet within ten minutes I could walk into the centre to get a good meal at a variety of tasty restaurants before leaving to enjoy the late night delights of the Purple Haze rock bar knowing my room was close by when I wanted to sleep. It was the sort of perfect hotel and stay that travellers dream about and if I come back to Nepal there is only one place I will stay and it will be the Mulberry. Wonderful hotel.

|0.74km from city centerWe had the pleasure of staying at this exceptional hotel for a total of 6 nights, and we couldn't be more thrilled with our experience. From the moment we arrived, the staff displayed an authentic and warm hospitality that made us feel truly at home. Their genuine friendliness and willingness to assist with every request went above and beyond our expectations.
One of the highlights of our stay was the remarkable cleanliness and tranquility of our room. It was evident that great care was taken to ensure a pristine environment, allowing us to relax and unwind in utmost comfort. The icing on the cake was the superb internet reception, which allowed us to stay connected seamlessly throughout our stay.
Our stay was punctuated by delightful mornings indulging in an exquisite breakfast spread. The puri or chapati and curry quickly became our favorites, perfectly complemented by the aromatic masala tea and the flavorful masala omelette – a true culinary delight!
The hotel's al fresco dining experience was an absolute treat. The ambiance was charming, and the food left an indelible mark on our taste buds. With each meal, we explored a plethora of different dishes, each more tantalizing than the last. It's safe to say that the culinary offerings exceeded our expectations in every way.
A noteworthy mention is the hotel's convenient proximity to Boudha Stupa, a mere 10-minute walk away. This made our visits to the stupa incredibly convenient and allowed us to fully immerse ourselves in its serene atmosphere.
What sets this hotel apart is not only its remarkable amenities and services but also the unique opportunity it offers. The daily free yoga and meditation sessions held within the monastery on the premises are truly transformative. We highly recommend inquiring about the schedule from the attentive hotel staff – it's an experience that added immeasurable value to our stay.
In summary, our time at this hotel was nothing short of exceptional. The combination of attentive staff, immaculate rooms, delectable cuisine, and the added touch of free yoga and meditation sessions make this hotel a standout choice for anyone seeking a memorable stay near Boudha Stupa. We wholeheartedly recommend this establishment to fellow travelers looking for an unforgettable experience.
Thank you to the entire staff for making our stay truly remarkable – we eagerly anticipate the opportunity to return!
Tip: Indulge in delightful puri & curry breakfast, relish al fresco dining, rejuvenate with free daily yoga. A tranquil oasis near Boudha Stupa.

|1.58km from city centerIf 10 points are positive, 6 points are all praise. No matter the location of the facilities and services, but the breakfast is really a headache because it is not a buffet. First of all, you have to wait for breakfast when you meet with people who eat at the same time in the morning. You have to wait for a long time. Confirm the breakfast and time with the front desk one day. We stayed for about 4 minutes every day for about 10 minutes. Some of them waited for more than 20 minutes. There is also a breakfast because the package is a package but the average person can eat enough My friend and I chose to eat more for breakfast. It was not enough to order a set meal on the first morning alone and then told the waiter that each person would add an oatmeal and fruit yogurt set. As a result, the waiter didn't say no. We told the waiter that we should eat one. Not full, but I still ca n’t make it to ask for a meal. Finally, I asked the boss to come. To be honest. The experience is really bad. Everyone ’s food is different. We ordered two meals and did n’t waste. Breakfast is also quantitative. You can add more if you do n’t have enough. But the waiter here really made people feel like they were asking for food. Kind of bad experience

|1.37km from city centerIt was enough good; the owner was nice and kind, the hotel was out of Thamel but not far and it's nice chance because at night you can sleep calm😊 we had some problem at the first we arrived, because we ask them to come and pick up use and we told them we will arrive at them but when we arrived nobody wasn't there, so we wait 30 minutes and we didn't know what can we do,then one person help us and try to call them and after call he arrive around 1 hour and half later,so we wait 2 hours and we don't know if that man doesn't help us how many hours we have to wait for him?! They said welcome to us with special flowers and it was nice and help you to believe you are in Nepal😊bwhen i compare this hotel with the other one i should say the room was not so clean, they were enough ok!the breakfast was really nice and delicious 😊 and at the end he reserved tickets for us for bardia and he followed us until the bus and it was so nice, but we meet some other tourist and we speak about the price of tickets and it was so different and we pay more than them but i hope the seller was honest with us😉 so i recommend this hotel for tourist ❤

|1.41km from city centerKing bed and balcony with lovely view of the city. The spa below is awesome at a good price of NPR1500 for 60min ayurvedic massage. There’s many other massages like swedish, deep tissue etc. Friendly staff service, airport pickup at a fee of NPR1300 or usd12. Only down side is the room is dark and the shower and shampoo is just simple soap so don’t expect spa smell types haha. 10min walk to Thamel centre with a junction thats hard to cross so follow the locals to cross will be the safest.
