We used 2 nights on the three consecutive holidays in February. The location is outstanding and within 30 seconds walk of the Happo Bus Terminal and 1 minute convenience store. The room was large and the toilet (washlet) was very beautiful. The hot spring on the top floor was hot and could not enter for a long time, but the body warmed from the core. This time it was a night stay, so it is unrated about the meal. Even if I asked for early because of the rain, I would check in, and even if I was scheduled to stay alone, I was happy to take it. The grandfather at the front desk (owner?) is certainly unique, but let's laugh and receive it. I didn't ski, so I didn't know it, but I laughed at the fact that it was the most luxurious in Hakuba. It was very kind and kind if you talk about it. I would like to use it if I have another chance.

A very special experience, the family hotel, the landlord and the family are really enthusiastic, and feel a different Japan in this quiet small village. First of all, we went to Baima in December. The snow is not early enough this year, so many ski resorts have not opened, and the surrounding facilities are naturally not open. Basically, it takes time to take a shuttle bus to the ski resort, and taxis are a bit expensive. The landlord’s son would take the initiative to ask what kind of ski resort he was going to today and what kind of help he needed. I said that I wanted to send the child to the nursery. He took the initiative to drive us to the nursery. He also called all the nurseries around him. The landlord will make some small snacks for the hotel guests every day. The last day of 2019 is hand-made rice cakes. The babies are very happy to watch and have eaten cakes for many years. Finally, we set off back to Tokyo and booked the bus. The bus station was actually nearby. The host’s mother specially arranged a car from their hotel to take us there. I was moved every day during the 4 days I stayed here. We are from a big city. This small hot spring hotel is a public restroom and bathhouse. I wasn't used to it at first, but believe me, staying for 2 days will make you feel different.

I stayed five nights in a traditional Japanese room. The staff are great, the bath house was great, the bar area is nice and relaxed. I felt very warm and welcome here and had relaxed friendly chats with the staff. It is a small and excellent hotel. Pick ups and drop offs were offered to ski resorts and lodges. It's a fantastic location and my room was quiet and I wasn't disturbed by guest noise in other rooms or from the street. Easy walk to Nakiyama slopes and the gondola and various bars and izakayas. Izakaya Paikaji, a cool restaurant, is on site and has terrific food. I recommend this place.

The good thing is that the hot spring water, especially the open-air bath, was smooth and the quality was better than I expected. Also, although there were no special dishes for both dinner and breakfast, they were all delicious and I enjoyed them all. The other issue was that the walls separating the rooms were thin, and I could hear the music from the next room, making it difficult to sleep. Also, although the open-air bath closed at 24:00, the quality of the spring water was so pleasant that I wanted to take a bath in the morning. The late breakfast start time of 7:30 was also a bit inconvenient for hiking. However, overall, the host (husband and wife?) have worked hard to maintain a high value for money, and we can recommend it.

Great location! Views of Happo One and so close to bus terminal, bars, restaurants and easy walking distance to Nakiyama lifts. Rooms on Level 3 were spacious for twin accom. Bathroom small but that’s typical in Japan. Hotel clean and comfortable, and staff helpful but not fluent in English. Bed was firm and comfortable. Room heater excellent and drying/storage room was adequate but not brilliant or large. Breakfast was good but not a buffet - served to your table (no choices) at appointed time so if you’re late, it’s cold! All up, I’d say the positives outweigh the negatives with this hotel. I’d stay here again, especially if only coming to Hakuba for a few days due to excellent location

One night on the way from Tokyo to Hokuriku region. I stopped at the return of Mt. Fuyu mountain climbing. Although it is not large as the size of the inn, the lobby is relaxed and traditional, but it is very clean and very clean. It was a one-person night that I decided in a hurry, but I happened to have an assignment of a large room. There are TV, refrigerator, electric pot boiling in the sug, Japanese room, but relaxed sofa, a little Japanese confectionery, tea set, bath set, towel, bathroom fixtures, etc. I also feel very attentive and attentive to each of these choices. The hot spring bathing boat itself is a size that will be filled with 4 - 5 people, but the washroom is also secured 6 - 7, and I think it is enough considering the size of the inn. The dressing room was also large, always clean, and there was no inconvenience or discomfort at all. The dishes are warm, the amount is not too much, and it is not too small, and it is never luxurious, but it is the impression that the appearance is well cooked politely. It was unexpected that Garrett came out for breakfast, but this was very delicious. The staff is not too familiar, but it is not too cold to business like, and the impression that it is communicating in exquisite intervals that saw the opponent's appearance. It was a surprise that I called my name and called me when I served the meal. When I was looking at the timetable and the map in the lobby, I asked you to speak naturally, but when I told you that I didn't think about the plan the next day, I gave you several candidates. We introduced the place where you can walk light mountains using the lift. Even if the staff was looking at the situation in which they were responding to others in English, they felt very attentive and hospitality, and they were impressed while they were guests. In the whole, you can enjoy a traditional Japanese hot spring inn, but it has modern convenience, clean and sensed facilities, and a mind that is fluent in English I thought that this should be a popular inn, considering that there are many staff, delicious meals, appropriate price not too high, and convenience close to the bus terminal.

Superb little hotel with fantastic staff and great food. We stayed 3 nights and would have liked to stay more :) Before we had even arrived, we had asked a few questions by email and the staff were exceptionally helpful. So we were pretty confident we would be looked after when we actually landed in hakuba. We arrived into Happo bus terminal and were picked up in a private transfer (Although the hotel is approx 3 min walk from the bus terminal!). But it removed the stress and got things off to a great start. We arrived around lunch and wanted to ski that afternoon, so the hotel gave us a ski pass at a great rate and contacted the ski gear rental company to come collect us. The room was perfect. We stayed in a basic room as there were no other rooms available. So meant we didn’t have an in room onsen. But honestly, we didn’t miss it. The onsen you can book for an hour is lovely. It wasn’t ever really booked up. It was really clean and an incredible way to end the day. We had a bit of a mix up and someone else staying at the hotel “accidentally” took our onsen booking. Quite a surprise when we turned up and there were people in there 😂. The hotel staff were great though, they closed one of the other two public onsens for an hour for us. They are normally reserved for just male/female only. This was a great touch and rescued what was going to be a bit of a lost evening given we had come back especially for our onsen booking. Breakfast the following day was awesome. We had the Japanese breakfast which came with lots of little dishes, all of which were delicious. Maybe the best miso soup we’ve had! Worth mentioning that I am a vegetarian, and they accommodated this with zero fuss! Switched up a few dishes for veggie ones. Which was really appreciated. I was all set to just eat cereal for 3 days! We also ate dinner at the hotel which was fabulous. Lots of little dishes all of which looked and tasted great. Again, I had a whole different vegetarian menu, with some really unusual, innovative dishes that were delicious. Didn’t think I’d have one of the nicest quiches I’ve ever had in a Japanese ski resort! Price was reasonable as well for what was a really nice dinner. All in all, highly recommend. Thanks to all the staff!

Although it has already passed the winter skiing season, the white horses only open the ski resorts on the top of the mountain. The hotel can also provide real-time information on the ski resorts. The day is relatively deserted, the restaurant has fewer choices for breakfast and dinner, and the taste is still good. The hot spring has become a personal package. box

A private pension. Therefore, it is recommended for people who want to relax because it is not large, so it is unlikely that they will encounter groups of guests or student groups. The location is in the middle of National Route 148 with an express bus stop and Hakuba Goryu Ski Resort, so it feels like it's okay to visit by private car or public transportation. To get to the ski resort, you can take a shuttle bus from the bus stop at the top of the hill about 7 or 80 meters from the inn. It's all downhill on the way back, so you can walk home, but it's better to see it for 10 to 15 minutes. If you want to buy something to eat and drink, it will be Escale Plaza, which is the base of the ski resort, or a convenience store that is a 5-6 minute drive from the inn. If you walk to Konpi, it takes 30 minutes one way. The food at the inn is described as creative European cuisine, but it was a fusion of French and Italian. The taste was absolutely delicious. The volume may be a little unsatisfactory for men. Rice can be replaced, but I was confused because I was not given a clear guide or written somewhere. It seems that you can also replace the breakfast bread, but there is no guide here either. If you say that you should just ask, it will be until then, but I think that clear guidance is still essential because not everyone can ask such things. If you omit the verbal guidance, you can post the guidance on the table. As a difference from the pensions of the same size in the surrounding area, if it is famous, it often comes with an after-meal drink, coffee or tea, but this is not provided. If you need it, you can order it separately for a fee. Breakfast comes with coffee or tea. When I visited, I was in the middle of the corona crisis, so I don't know if I was doing it, but it seemed that I could enjoy alcohol in the dining room after dinner (of course, an extra charge). The room is not spacious, but enough to sleep. Regarding the position of the TV that other people wrote, it was certainly higher than my line of sight and it was hard to see. If I didn't adjust the distance, it was difficult to see the screen due to reflections, etc., and I felt stressed because I couldn't change the location arbitrarily due to wiring problems. In the room where I stayed, the TV was placed on a wooden stand in the corner, and the height of the TV hanging from the stand was the maximum height for comfortable viewing. I really want you to improve this area. I thought that it would be a minus point that it is difficult to watch the TV for that, even though you can watch foreign movies and Japanese movies rented out by the hotel for free on the DVD player in each room. There is also a unit bath and toilet in the room, but the door to this is locked. For those who need it, the accommodation plan will have a bathroom and the basic fee will increase. Conversely, if you don't need it, you can stay at a cheaper price than other similar-sized hotels in the surrounding area. Regarding the toilet outside the room, the toilet on the 2nd floor where the guest room is located was a strange structure with separate toilets for men and women next to each other as others wrote. It was unavoidable in terms of space. It may be troublesome for women, but we recommend using the toilet next to the front desk on the first floor. This is separate from the entrance for men and women. The bath is already here, but it is not large. It's a so-called family bath, and if you're an adult, there's a fixed number of 2 people, and if you force yourself to put 3 people in one room, it's basically for 1 person. It was one room. For example, both parents and one child, or one parent with a child, are of reasonable size. I didn't feel that there were negative points such as poor cleaning or dim lighting, but on the contrary, there was no particular element that appealed to me. According to the information on the website, it seems that you can enjoy the jacuzzi on the terrace except in winter, so if you want to enjoy a bath in winter, please use Escal Plaza or nearby hot spring facilities. By the way, there was no information about this, but it seems that you can take a bath 24 hours a day, except during cleaning. The drying room is a concern for ski snowboarders, but it didn't feel like there was a separate room. It was rather simple, with a passage partitioned off, shelves installed, and a warm air heater placed. Even so, if the boards and boots are normally wet, they will dry, but it is safer to dry the boots that are wet to the inner and the clothes that are wet to the inside in the room. There are often times when there is no clear guidance as information, such as refills for meals or a DVD of a bath guide movie, and depending on how you look at it, it may look like a lack of hospitality. However, the owner couple is very pleasant and friendly. The service is not bad at all, such as caring about the likes and dislikes of meals, and offering to pick up and drop off if you are handy. It was a pity that the information dissemination was insufficient.

We stayed here for 2 nights in July. The hotel and rooms are clean and comfortable. The lack of vegetarian / vegan food options was disappointing considering this is a Marriott Hotel. The resteraunt may not be theirs, but still expected better. The staff were very helpful, although the hotel shuttle to drop us to the station was only available for a 30 minute timeslot in the morning. Strange, but not a problem. Location is good, still has a feel that it could be a lot better by just making small improvements. Its the details that matter, at least that is why we booked Marriott. Still, we would stay here again (and maybe bring our own food).

I stayed in a dormitory like a capsule hotel, but it was clean and comfortable with a private locker that was not small and had multiple outlets, individual lights and clothes. Security also had a PIN at the entrance and room, and there was also a space for ski boots and boards in the entrance. The bath was only a shower, but there were three and it wasn't crowded. The washer / dryer was also available for 300 yen, which was helpful. The wifi was comfortable, the kitchen was easy to use, the tableware was substantial, and the refrigerator was large and sufficient. I would like to use it again.

Good value for money, very nice Japanese-style rooms, decent breakfast, very nice onsen. True, it needs a makeover. We were a family of 6, sharing 2 spacious rooms. The tatamis are really comfortable, and the onsen après-ski is all you can wish for. It is conveniently situated: the shuttle stop is right in front of the hotel. I was disturbed by the meteor flower garden for consecutive nights at the end of the year. I think that it has an atmosphere that is healed by the tired body and breathes of the trip. I was able to interact with people from other countries in the guesthouse and had a good time. I met Taiwanese, Hong Kongers, Chinese mainlanders, and occasionally Swiss people, and I was excited about skiing with everyone. I am really grateful for the advice to me as a beginner. The administrator was very kind and taught me the information around me and learned a lot. I will visit again during the next snowy season.

Service and hygiene have always been of Japanese standard. The brother at the front desk is still driving in the snow and we go to the convenience store to buy things. Location, 5 minutes to Wulong Snow Resort, it was an excellent location. But what needs to be done is the big environment. Because I used to go to Niseko, Hokkaido, there are very convenient restaurants, shopping, and convenience stores nearby. But Baima Wulong is very barren here. It takes 10 minutes to walk to the nearest restaurant, which is very unsuitable. Of course, this hotel has nothing to do with itself

Even though the designated parking lot in front of the hotel was empty, the parking lot I was directed to was a little further away in an unzoned grassy area, and since it was raining, the footing was poor, making it difficult for novice drivers. It was done. When I returned to the hotel after parking, the next car was guided to the side of the hotel. When I asked, ”Can I park here?”, I was told, ”This is the place after this.” I felt it wasn't fair, either because they divided the cars by grade, or because my car was a light car, so they looked down on me. The barrel bath, which is a signboard for this hotel, is currently closed, so I wish they would have given consideration to the fact that it was closed on their website. The hot springs in the hotel have a capacity of about 4 people, and there are no brushes or lotion services. Ice candy service after bathing. The room is spacious and the cleanliness is satisfactory. The photos posted on travel sites are too clean and it is a fairly old facility. The woman at the reception was nice. I would like the man guiding the parking lot to think about the service industry. Since there is a large space, it would be fairer to guide the driver to park in any available space without specifying the location. I wonder if I would have been treated differently if I had gone there in a luxury car. I'm sorry.

We took an overnight bus from Nagoya to the Baima Bafang, the hotel is about 10 minutes from the station, but it is 3 minutes from the bus station to the snow field crane box, quite close! The hotel looks a bit old, in fact the internal maintenance is very good, the service candidates are very active and enthusiastic from start to finish. Although some staff members are not very good in English, they will find someone else to help immediately, so there is no big problem in communication. The basement is a snow warehousing warehouse and it is very convenient to store it. According to Japanese tradition, the hotel has different slippers in the basement, lobby, changing room, big bath, and even the shower room in the room. It is really meticulous. The rooms and the large lounge on the first floor are covered with straw matt tatami and it is very comfortable to sleep on the ground because the air conditioning is very strong. The hotel's food is very delicate, although there is no Chinese food, the ritual is still very strong. The stay is a room with two fairy biscuits, super delicious, so we bought a lot at the front desk, and discounts, very happy. The big bath has two large pools indoor and outdoor, and the traditional sitting bath location, the water is a natural hot spring, very good. Finally, we took JR back to Nagoya, the hotel sent us a free car, the whole process was perfect, praise!

The breakfast is very good and dinner can also be settled at the hotel. With the child 7 years old, you can live in the twin room, but the site has added extra money. When you place the order, you can't say clearly that you want to add it. It is very dissatisfied. In addition, I don't know if I have already deducted a previous fee for the previous order. The site paid the full amount anyway, and the credit card bill came out and checked. The location of the hotel is on the edge of the village, but the village is not big, but instead it is close to the high road, and it is very quick to go out from a road in the snow. The spa bathroom is very comfortable with large pools and outdoor pools. Ski can be placed in the basement, snowshoes, coin-operated clothes.

It is not far from the three ski resorts of Wulong, Immori, and hakuba47. There is a shuttle bus 5 meters away from the entrance, which is very convenient. There is always a young lady or uncle who can speak English at the front desk, and there is a smiling boss inside. The boss would drive to pick us up for the takeaway, pick us up from JR, and send me to the station the day I left. Breakfast is also very good, served individually.

Best place to stay in Hakuba, close to shuttle bus stations, walk able distance to Echoland for restaurants, 7/11, atm, rental shops. But the best thing is the host Nanjo, he is so accommodating, friendly, helpful and kind. He made our stay super easy, comfortable and it felt like home. The best part was the onsen every night after a tiring day snowboarding.

The couple that worked there were so kind, helpful and went above and beyond for my friends and I. I injured my knee on my first day of skiing and they really helped me out. They also took everyone to the grocery store and provided excellent advice RE snow sports and itineraries. I am so so grateful. With regards to the accommodation it was so clean, comfortable and the living area was beautiful - this made it much easier while being injured. It was a very short walking distance from the chairlift for hakuba goryu which made everything so easy!

Awesome! The location of the hotel is not ideal! It takes 7-8 minutes to walk to the ski resort bus station, and you can take the bus to various ski resorts. There are two stops each from Muchi and Iwatake Ski Resort, and it is more than 20 minutes' drive from Happo-one. The shop is very cozy, and the food is so good, of exquisite quality. There is no bathroom in the standard room, but it was shown on Ctrip. After communication, Ctrip solved the problem. The room was very small. The hardware is average, but the small store gives people a very comfortable feeling. The prices are great, and the Western food we eat is the same for six days. It feels like a Michelin restaurant!

Overnight for children's skiing. It's a lift on the slopes across the road, but you need to buy a lift ticket at the ski center, which is about a five-minute walk away. It seems that there is no dinner and there is no large communal bath, but the hot spring is less than five minutes by car. There is no inconvenience to go out to eat. The room was large and comfortable with a family suite. It was a little inconvenient that I couldn't access the drying room directly due to the snow, but there was almost no problem. WiFi was weak indoors. The staff was Chinese but Japanese was OK and they responded very kindly.

The hotel is very welcoming and the lobby is very comfortable, like staying in a villa with a big TV in it, you can watch all kinds of programs. Every day, the clerk will register the time for breakfast on the second day and provide breakfast on time on the second day. The owner is Chinese and is very nice. He can pick up and drop off tickets, and can also help to book discount snow tickets, rent skis, and skis can be stored in the store on the first floor of the hotel. Take them out in the car every morning and go directly to the snow. The hotel is next to the hotel's snow field shuttle meteor garden station, and there is also a 711 convenience store, which is within 3 kilometers from the Happa47 and Hakuba47 snow fields, which is very convenient. The hotel has a small restaurant and a bar counter, where a few friends can have a drink and chat in the evening. When you get here, you feel like you are really on a ski holiday. Although the rooms of the hotel are small in size, the overall facilities are complete and warm, and the floors and stairs are also wooden floors. I will stay at this hotel next time I come to ski. Recommended for friends who like skiing. Take the train and get off at Iimori Station, very close to the hotel, 1.8 km.

We are a couple from New Zealand. During our visit to Japan we stayed at the Sejour Mint. The location is amazing. Very near to the Ski Fields. The staff were amazing, service quality were exceptional. The hotel picked us and dropped us at the Hakuba Station. We also we went to Matsumoto, they drop off and pick up from Kashmiro Station also. The Japanese style breakfast was an amazing experience too. We would highly recommend to all guests visiting Hakuba.

We had booked this accommodation in Hakuba for 3 nights in Jan24; family of 4 (2 adults and 2 adult/children). We were supposed to be picked up from the bus station by the accommodation and sent several emails to confirm that pick-up was still happening the day before (and day of) our arrival. Eventually receive a reply, that yes, they were picking us up at 4:30pm. Waited at for 20mins and then decided to phone as no one arrived (this is highly unusual in Japan for people not to show up on time!)y. The answered that ”yeah, they are on the way, but they were running late”). Bear in mind we were waiting in -3C degrees waiting for someone to show up. When we went to check in the 2 boys (maybe early 20s) behind the counter were very lack-luster. Point to the building outside as to where we were staying - but no offer to help carry bags through the snow laden path; or even show us to our rooms. We struggled up to the building and couldn't get access inside - the door was locked. Went back to reception and only then did he get up from behind the counter to help us. We had to take off our shoes in the entrance area - strewn with what seemed like hundreds of wet shoes and then walk through the water logged entrance - no offer of slippers but an off-handed comment about ”oh there should be some slippers in your room” (there wasn't). There was none of the usual information exchange when checking in; ie breakfast (evidently you can buy this in the hotel, but not sure where as there was only a fleeting mention on check out). We were disappointed at the presentation of the room; old curtains hanging off with hooks missing; noisy neighbours which made it feel like we were in a school dormitory rather than a $$$ accommodation. Thankfully these neighbours left the next day - but we were wondering what the hell we had booked into. There is no sound-proofing; you can hear everything in the corridor, stomping, loud talking etc. Shuttle bus is available to get to town, but you have to put your name down on a schedule and it was not readily available. The day we definitely needed to use it (check out) in order to catch the bus, only one shuttle vehicle was available and there was so many people waiting and everyone was late getting to their desired destinations. If you are looking for high quality Japanese service and style of accommodation that you find throughout Japan, this place will not provide you with it. It is fitted out with what seemed to be Ikea-style furniture; bunk beds in the second room that my youngest (tallest) son couldn't fit into so we had to put the mattress on the floor. Toilets are standard western-style toilet, not the Japanese ”special” toilets (bidet, auto flush etc). All appointments throughout the suite was very basic western standard. The only view we had from the room was towards the back at other buildings - not the beautiful view as shown on the advertised room. We figured out that there is probably only 4 rooms

The hotel is one kilometer away from the bus terminal, but there are small stops near the hotel to various ski resorts, which is very convenient. I booked a total of 5 nights, including meals. The 5 breakfasts are basically Japanese, very hearty and satisfying! It is a traditional Japanese-style bed and breakfast. The room is on tatami mats and you make your own bed. In some years, the furniture is not new, and you can hear it in the walking room in the corridor, but it is very clean! The quality of the guests is also very good, there is no loud noise, which is much better than the Europeans and Americans who later lived in the hotel! The boss is an old Japanese couple. They don’t talk much and may not always smile like other Japanese people, but in fact they love to help. After dinner every morning, they ask you where you plan to go today, and then pull you there. His map wall helps you plan your itinerary, and the hotel also has a lot of coupons or low-cost ski tickets for ski resort cooperation. Save a lot of expenses. After checking out, you need to change to another hotel. After the boss asks the address, he will send it to the next one, but there are still not many words 😁, thank you for your rigorous and lovely Japanese grandpa Very cost-effective, recommended!

This trip to White Horse stayed in three hotels, run by Japanese, and European and American. This home is the most satisfying. First of all, the hotel chosen by the Japanese in Hakuba must be better than the Europeans. No matter the cleanliness of the hotel or the enthusiasm of the boss. This old Japanese couple has been running a homestay for over 30 years. At first glance, the boss has accumulated many years. The homestay occupies two single-family villas, and the boss owns a bus! The two of us sat on the exclusive bus to enjoy the pick-up and drop-off service. My chin was frightened. I never came to Baima to see the hotel's own bus. The location is great. Five minutes walk from base camp, one of Hakuba's core bus stops. If you go to Wuxi 47, it will be more convenient. Besides the room. It is very large and has its own separate toilet (including bathroom), which is not available in many Japanese-style hotels. The only shortcoming of the room was the two of us, but there were only two single beds and no large bed. A new family room was given to us when I checked in. It was also three single beds, so maybe there is no double room? The room we booked did not include meals. The breakfast was 600 yen per person. We thought it was not expensive and we tried it. Em, there was only one slice of toast and unlimited coffee milk cereal, which was too monotonous and not worth trying. It is better to go out a few hundred meters to buy breakfast near base camp. Finally the owner is very enthusiastic (this is the advantage of all Japanese homestays). There are local apples for sale at the front desk. The price of 100 is a conscience. I stayed for 3 nights and ate 5 apples. It was very sweet.
