Small but excellent value rooms for the location. Shower was good, bed comfortable and there is a small fridge. The only small negative was the noise from the street was quite noticeable including the nearby church bells which go off several times a day.

A great little hotel. Superb location, right next door to the cathedral. Extremely clean room. We arrived at 1200 and were told we could check-in straight away, expecting only to leave bags. The restaurant is fabulous, serving hearty German dishes washed down with excellent beers and the local apple wine. Be warned though, it is extremely popular and staying in the hotel does not guarantee you a table - so book! Because this is a small place the hotel desk is not always staffed - but you can pop through the connecting door to the restaurant to ask for help with anything. Would definitely stay here again.

We spent two nights in this hotel prior to starting our tour of Germany, Switzerland and Austria. The room was small but comfortable. We had everything needed for our stay. We didn’t do the optional breakfast but instead found a cafe nearby where we enjoyed coffee and croissants. Location was ideal. We were a five minute walk from Tomer Square. Front desk very helpful & answered all our many questions. We definitely recommend this clean and modern hotel.

We visit this hotel for one night using AMEX FHR for the booking. We are upgraded to a junior suite #569 at check in. This is the top floor at the hotel. The view from the room is rooftops, but the room is large and recently updated with every creature comfort. The bathroom is large featuring double sinks, toilet with bidet and separate tub/large shower with electronic temperature controls. There is a non functioning lighted makeup mirror and TV for the bathtub. AC for the room does not cool well but we were provided a fan to help. There are plenty of electrical outlets for charging. Staff are generally very friendly, but wait staff at the terrace lounge and breakfast are not particularly attentive. The lady working the egg station for breakfast is a little snooty. The breakfast buffet is okay but not what I expect in terms of variety for a hotel of this stature. In spite of the minor issues I plan to visit this hotel again.

Very good hotel, the location is relatively quiet, on the Main River, open the window to see the river, although close to the road, but the window is closed, the sound is particularly good, the hotel service is great, the early flight arrived, saw me with the child, especially early to give the room, the next day extra bed is also convenient, the room is still relatively large, It can be said that this price/performance ratio is not said. The bathroom in the room has a shower and a bathtub. It is very convenient for me with a baby.

Absolutely great location, within walking distance of both the main train station and city centre, with a tram right outside going to the natural history museum. The room was both clean and comfortable. Bathroom also. It was definitely not lacking in space but was still nice and warm while visiting in December. The receptionist was very helpful and allowed us to leave our bags in the room even though it was well before check in time. We arrived at 9 am, check in was 3 pm. One criticism I had was if you are a light sleeper, there is a lot of street noise and possibly a night club close by. Saturday night we had very loud music until early morning. I would recommend this place as a great budget hotel for a city break. Plenty of places to eat nearby too.

I have been staying at this hotel for more than 3 months now and was more than excited after hearing a JW Marriott would open in Frankfurt (also the first one in Germany at that time). After living in hotels in Frankfurt for more than 3 years, I knew that staying at the JW Marriott would be a different story as it provides beautiful skyline views (sunset towards the skyline and sunrise on the other side towards the Taunus) and is as central as it gets. As an ambassador elite I was always upgraded to a suite, mostly the skyline suite because nothings beats this view - see pictures attached. Even though the hotel may need some renovations in some parts, it still provides all the necessities you can think of. The skyline suites include an amazing bathtub, big mirrors, seating area and the unique skyline view which you can be seen from the bed when waking up or going to sleep. The staff is very attentive, extremely friendly and is trying to make the best out of your stay. Thomas from the front desk, Mr Nickol, the girls at breakfast and the two guys there as well are extremely friendly and highly trained professionals. As the hotel does not provide an executive lounge at this point, Elite members get a free breakfast with an la carte dining (recommendation: chef‘s choice) and lots of varieties at the breakfast buffet. For someone like me who wants to stay fit during travels, the JW Marriott Frankfurt has a collaboration with the Fitness First My Zeil meaning you can access a fully equipped gym when staying here and not just a treadmill or 5kg weights - one of the biggest plus of this hotel. Staying at Marriott hotels full time for the last 6 years, I can really see the differences. Unfortunately that hotel life comes to an end now, but the JW Marriott couldn’t have been a better ending to that hotel life. THANK YOU TEAM. This hotel is highly recommended if you want a special treat, the most central location and the full Frankfurt skyline experience.

Only good thing about the hotel is location. Located by the main shops. From the outside the hotel looks fine. Arrival to reception was ok fairly clean. Received key to room as there was 3 of us we knew one of the party was to sleep on a sofa bed (which was more like just a sofa) When entering the room there was a strange smell. The room did look like the walls and ceiling had been painted. However the carpet was just dirty, stains all over it. Splashes of paint where there hadn’t been clearly any sheets laid down and generally carpet was an eye sore. There was a Kitchenette. Kettle, toaster. No plates and no mugs. Three glasses and one was definitely not clean. The worst was yet to come. Opened the fridge…… left over milk, juice, take out chicken and McDonald’s box which none of us wanted to open to experience what was inside. This could have been left from previous guests but who knows how long it had been there . Clearly the cleaner hadn’t checked on this, which then made us all doubt the cleanliness of the whole room. To be fair bed linen did look clean but didn’t give much assurance. Bathroom was ok. Shower surprisingly good but definitely not the best bathroom. Hair dryer didn’t have anything about it and overheated after about a minute. Sleep value awful. Bed surprisingly comfy. But the noise from outside was horrific which led to dreadful sleep. It went on all night. Such a shame as hotel location was brilliant and hotel cleanliness let itself down. I wouldn’t rush back.

The hotel is in a side street and with a bit of help from Google Maps we found the entrance. Immediatly impressed by the entrance portal decoration. Took the elevator up as the reception is on the 6th floor. Where we are welcomed by the super friendly Can. He made us directly feel at home and we had some nice small talk later in the evening while having a drink at the bar. The room that we had was small but had everything we needed. Loving the Galley concept which they had. Where you can get unlimited coffee and tea throughout the day. Everything was exceptionally clean.

For some context, I'm a Marriott Platinum Elite member and tend to stay anywhere from 20-30 nights annually at Marriott hotels in N. America and Europe. Also a former resident of Frankfurt and I had a recent 5-night stay for work/personal reasons. Found the hotel to be in a decent location (i.e., close to Zeil and the Hauptwache U-Bahn/S-Bahn station) and very modern/clean. The food/drinks at the hotel were surprisingly good; sometimes that can be hit-or-miss at chain hotels. I really appreciated that the hotel's housekeeping was very attentive and even asked when I encountered them in the hallway asking if I needed anything (e.g., extra towels) or had changed my mind about housekeeping service, since I had the 'do not disturb' sign at my room door. There were a few things that other hotel guests have commented about that are valid but need to be taken into context. There isn't a mini fridge nor a personal lockbox, which I learned are not part of the Moxy hotel offering at the moment. So, if these things are a must-have then probably might want to look at other Marriott hotels or other lodging options. Also, there are irons/ironing boards for use, but there are designated spots in the hotel for that. In a same vein, if this a must-have in your room, then perhaps might want to look elsewhere. I'd say one thing else to consider is that the rooms aren't that big size-wise, which perhaps for a short stay of 1-2 nights isn't a big deal, but not having enough wall hooks to properly hang jackets/coats and dress shirts was a little inconvenient. Just some things to consider but overall was quite pleased with the hotel given price and everything.

Loved this hotel. If we came back to Frankfurt we would stay here again. It’s in a great location that’s walkable to everything. It’s essentially city center and there is a ton to do just outside of your doorstep. The service was perfect, everyone is really friendly and helpful. They offer a nice breakfast in the morning. Hotel always smells fresh and clean. The room is really nice with a comfy bed and big bathroom. This is connected to the moxy hotel and the moxy bar/lounge is open 24/7 which is really cool because it’s set up nicely for if you want to eat, play games, just relax, etc. it’s really easy to get a taxi since they can call one for you or you can use the taxi call machine up by the front desk. Tap once for cash and twice for card payment. Super easy. Just a heads up: sometimes they forget to tell you that your room key controls the electric in the room so if you don’t already know this, don’t panic if nothing works when you get in your room at first. You have to slide one of the room keys in the card holder inside of your room next to the front door and everything turns on. Loved that because it’s a great way to save energy. Full kitchen and utensils, cups, cookware, dishwasher, fridge in room if you want to save on food and cook in your room. They also have laundry available if you need to do laundry which you can get tokens for for a couple euro. I just loved this place and the location.

Disappointing for a four star. As we arrived prior to check in time, we asked if we could leave our bags in a luggage room. The nice lady at reception put tags on our bags beside the desk and we went about our business, assuming they would be put into a secure room. We had valuables such as a laptop in the bag. We were disappointed to see our two cases still beside the desk when we came back to check in. There was new staff on reception at this point, we picked up our bags without anyone asking for verification that they were ours - not very secure! On the Saturday night, there was a very loud party going in until after 4am a couple of rooms down meaning we got hardly any sleep. Definitely not soundproofed rooms as advertised!! At 4am I could hear commotion in the hallway so I opened my bedroom door to ask them to be quiet. I was very surprised to see a deliveroo driver dropping off food. I did not think it was acceptable for a deliveroo driver to have access to the bedrooms at that hour of the night. We arrived back to the hotel late on the Friday night and there is no security checks at the reception. The door is open and we freely walked up to the third floor no questions asked. Usually the front doors of hotels are manned during the night to ensure safety of it's guests. The hotel did not feel secure. The mini fridge was poorly stocked and when I rang down for prosecco (which is on the mini bar menu) I was informed they did not have any. This was disappointing given it was NYE. Because of covid rules the hotel bar was closed so we couldn't access any drinks in the hotel. It was a double room but did not have a double bed. Two single beds which moved easily out from the wall when sitting up in the bed. Bathroom was nice but smell coming from drain. Disappointing stay overall.

The hotel is very nice and have a small well equiped bar in the lobby area where we took a beer to relax after a full day in an exhibition. The staff is really friendly and helpful, you feel welcome when arriving here. Location of the hotel is maybe not the most nice area in the town, especially during evening and night, but we were not out late so felt pretty safe walking home. Room is clean and nice. We recently stayed 2 nights at Citadines. The rooms are spacious, clean and well equipped with a toaster, kettle, hob and large fridge. The bed is very comfy. Housekeeping is once a week, but you can request more towels at reception. There is a free water and coffee/hot chocolate machine on the ground floor and a vending machine outside the lift. The WiFi is very good. The skyline plaza is across the road with shops and places to eat, it shuts at 8pm. The Receptionists are welcoming and friendly. One negative, which is not the hotel’s fault, is it is very noisy outside. We were kept awake with people talking on the road and traffic noise. I don’t know if the rooms at the back of the hotel or higher up would be quieter.

This is a 100% honest review. And i will try to write as much to help other Customers who are looking for Hotels to book. I know how hard it is to read Reviews and all, but i hope this will help. This Hotel has the best service of all! From the Valet Parking, to the Receptionist (who speaks perfect English), to the Room! ROOM: First impression in entering the room, was.. WOW. IT SMELLS CLEAN AND GOOD! It is big enough for 2. They provided us 2 free Water Bottles, they have Shampoos, Body Soap, and Lotion. The Pillows are Comfortable, Bed is really Big (but don’t expect too much) it is just good enough to sleep. If you’re looking for EXTRA comfort for sleeping, this is not the one for you. They have Airconditioning (which is really important), and it works PERFECT! BREAKFAST BUFFET: They have wonderful WAITERS AND WAITRESSES! They will go extra mile for you like when you get your Coffee yourself, they will offer to do it for you. It gives a lot of choices when it comes to Food. Their FOOD is superb! I still can’t get over with the Waffles 😅 it is true that it’s a little bit Pricey, but if you’re a Breakfast Person, i would highly recommend you to get this one! 😊 Overall experience, it was excellent!

Chose Star-Apart-Hotel based on its location, price, and amenities (fitness center, gratis snacks and beverages [including beer and wine]). We were given a room on the ”tennis” floor, and it faced inwardly, rather than the streets. Minor noise only one night (stayed Thursday through Sunday nights) from the nearby park and apartment-balcony conversation. Great staff and communication; weekend desk person (Saleh) booked a taxi for our time-sensitive event Sunday morning. Breakfasts were fantastic-- our first exposure to what good Central European breakfasts can have (e.g. vegetables and dense, quality breads). And location is excellent-- within a half-block of both tram and UBahn stops, and many good stores and restaurants within a few blocks. Only minor detraction-- but part and parcel with smaller inns-- was the limited hours for desk, fitness center, and breakfast start time. For those needing the conveniences or reassurances a full-service hotel provides, Star-Apart might not be your place. But, for us, it was great value and experience in a great part of Frankfurt.

Hotel Beethoven provided a perfect experience to a jet-lagged traveler. It is located on a quiet, well-kept street, just 2 minutes from a lovely café and 15 minutes from central Old Frankfurt (around the opera house). The staff are exemplary in manner and competence, but also just very nice. Mr. Haberkorn, the night manager, offered this wakeful sleeper fruits and pastries at 3 AM. The breakfast is a model of a German breakfast, with something for every taste: good rolls with butter and jam; pastries; scrambled eggs and bacon; muesli and yoghurt and fruit salad; various cold cuts; juices; and coffee specially brewed and delivered quickly to the table in a special porcelain Kaffeekanne. I had breakfast in the sun-room, enjoying the light and a fresh pressed copy of the FAZ. The hotel is also extremely quiet; I was totally unaware of any other guests, although they appeared at breakfast. I stayed in a single room, which was furnished in a somewhat Spartan style, but very comfortable and clean. The desk in particular was large and allowed me to work undisturbed for hours.

There was one spare blanket without cover in the bed frame but it had blood stains all over it.... Disgusting!!! Check in and check out was easy even though the staff was undertrained and slow The location is great! 5 minutes to the S-Bahn Station Gateway Gardens and 15 Minutes from the airport on foot. There is also a Rewe right around the corner. The Hotel advertised its own parking, but you had to reserve your parking spots beforehand for 22€a day. The overall design and layout of the hotel, lobby and the rooms themselves was good, fresh and modern. There were a few issues however that detracted from my stay at the Niu Coin. -I requested a quiet room on my reservation and again on check in (as I needed a good nights sleep for the work I was doing) however the room I received I was awoken a few times during my stay with doors slamming in the corridor, the room doors are spring loaded and slam as people come and go during the night. -The shower curtain in the bathroom was heavily stained at the bottom and there was a slight drain smell in the bathroom on one day of my stay -The own branded shower gel in the bathrooms smelt amazing but the container was almost empty -The Wi-Fi was entirely useless, on the one occasion i did need to work on a business document online the internet connection continually logged me out after 2 minuites. Positives - the breakfast was good - the staff were friendly and helpful - the location was good and overall the cleanliness (other than the shower curtain) was good. The Niu Coin is a good concept and the website, design and layout lead me to believe the company has good vision for a modern hotel brand. However the operational delivery is somewhat lacking in places. The hotel management needs to re-focus on the basics such as cleanliness, maintaince and operational processes - these as all the least glamourous aspects of the hotel business but getting the basics right is key for everything else they're hoping to acheive

Title: First-class hotel at the Zoo - A successful experience Dear readers, I would like to tell you about my stay at the Zoo Hotel, a first-class hotel that offers an unforgettable experience. The buffet was not open to wishes and offered a variety of delicious foods that were freshly prepared. Such a delicious and varied breakfast allowed a power-laden start in the day. The staff at the zoo, especially Mrs Yasemin at the reception, deserve special mention. She was extremely premature, empathical and always ready to help. The service at the hotel was all the way of first-class and contributed significantly to a positive overall impression. The location of the hotel at the zoo is unslaughterable. With direct access to the zoo in the immediate vicinity, it is a great advantage especially for animal lovers and families. You can explore the zoo conveniently without having to walk a long way. The rooms at the hotel at the zoo are comfortable and tastefully furnished. They offer all the comforts you need during your stay to feel comfortable. The cleanness of the rooms was excellent and they were kept innocently. All in all, I can recommend the hotel at the zoo. The first-class location near the zoo, the rich breakfast, the friendly staff, especially Mrs Yasemin at the reception, and the comfortable rooms make the stay a round-round experience. With friendly greetings, Juliano Demuro

My stay at the hotel in Eschborner Hof was unpleasant experience for me. The first telephone contact after my booking was very nice, and was not to be challenged. The check-in went quickly and I took my room. The hotels Eschborner Hof and Rödelheimer Hof are probably a company and a building separated by two hotel names. The pictures I have seen on the Internet under Booking.com “what probably the hotel itself has published,” is my thought. The pictures were either made very long ago or the photo shop greeted. It may be that there are rooms with superior equipment but I haven't read anything in the description at Booking.com, or that you can only get miserable rooms from a certain price. The furniture or beds on the photos are not present in a normal single room. My closet in the room see picture is probably from the lockwaste or from elsewhere (at least it looks like) because you can also see the holes on the sides that this probably had previously several closets that were shared or but from rests together built. The bed see picture is with cross-sliding screws firmly screwed on one side top on the other side misses a piece of wood and the lattice roast see pictures should not be like that. I've been looking for a smoke dealer in the room, but it seems to be okay because the firefighter probably accepted that when the rooms were taken. The installation of a box, TV table, night box, chair makes the impression that you are either from the lock-waste or have been in use for more than 15-20 years where you can obviously also clearly identify the traces. At the table on which the TV stands: such an IKEA plate costs about € 20 this table plate you could switch without decent it is not a big money and you can reuse your feet but it is probably cheaper to do a cover over it with no one Sees back looks down. It also attached to the pictures. The shower head cap in the bathroom may have also broken, but it would have been costly to take a new position for €20,00, so a metal tube was not put in rustic naturally and it is already roasting at both ends see picture. A piece has been broken off from the toilet paper holder, but this is not important, it's all costing a lot of money see picture. At the entrance door are hole from behind was probably previously with a door closer accident but only the hole remained OK that's not so bad. But you can also see the picture that the door has been opened even once without keys, which is not surprising of course. The main entrance is the whole night on it can everyone get in and out. Of course, cameras are installed only in the direction of entrance and outdoor on the parking places, but what happens in the gangs can not

This is really the best choice for a business trip to the exhibition. The DB station is just across the road, one stop to the exhibition, and one stop to the central station. There is free parking under the bridge next to it. The room facilities are very ordinary, basically equal to ibis, and the breakfast is also very simple , no laundry service, this is not good

Location: Central Station is left to go left at an intersection, two or three minutes walk, the location is great. The surrounding hotel is a red light district, but it is safe and there are no strange people. Facilities: The space for the six-person room is quite large and a bit noisy. The sheets are removed by themselves. Cleanliness is a bit low, it is recommended to bring your own sleeping bag. The bathroom is great, this time with slippers and bath amenities. Lobby: Free hot water hot coffee throughout the day. There is a seating area on the first floor where you can sit and chat. The front desk is very welcoming. 6 to 8 o'clock every night is happy hour, the store will have a free pizza for everyone. Buy one get one free for the whole drink and order a cocktail of 5.5 Euro. Breakfast: A breakfast for three consecutive nights. There are bread ham and a variety of sauces, and you can make homemade sandwiches. There are also yoghurt and a variety of nut cereals, which can be made into a yogurt bowl. Although 28 euros and 2 euros tax per night is still very expensive, in such a location, it is cheaper in the peers.

I was here at the end of the July, breakfast were always ok but many flies surrounding. And there is no air conditioning as well. And the last time when I was there and I I found the partitions in the bathroom was collapsed! The 2nd time I was with my friend, the hotel did not check my schedule and throw away my friends stuff!!! They were super careless and not serious to their work unfortunately, I ask many times to different receptionists they seems didn't heard about my complaint and the most ridiculous was they throw away my friend's stuff !!! (iPhone cable) it's funny!? Finally they agree to reimburse my friend. ( hope they will) And their facilities on 1st floor was not friendly to people who was using wheelchair, and the 2nd check in has much improved however the shower was not for disabled people. If it never happened it was ok. Other than that the location was nice and the view also excellent.

Even though it’s a chain it gives you the feeling that it’s not. The staff is super friendly and helpful. We accidentally booked for the wrong night, but luckily they had an extra room and the helped us transfer our booking into the right night. The staff spoke perfect English and was just really everything your wanted as a tourist giving good advice on how to enter the city. The room is equipped with a big bed and a big tv, and the bathroom is a good size too, so even though the rooms aren’t so big they really focused on using the space correctly. We had a room facing into the yard so no noise there, but it’s very convivially places next to the highway, so you’re quick on your way again, but of course it means some rooms are facing out to the trafficked highway also. What’s even better is that they had a cromecast connected to the tv, which as a tourist is so absolutely genius so we don’t have to watch dubbed German television. (Small disclaimer is that the Wi-Fi was a little slow until the evening making it a little hard to work) The breakfast is super variated and big, and they fill up the missing things quickly, and take our plates when we are done so they don’t pile on the table. The parking cellar cost a little but there’s parking space outside the hotel too. The tramp is located just next to the hotel and takes you into the city directly. You can even buy a ticket just next to it for about 2 euroes. I don’t have a single complaint about this place, and usually I’m very picky. It’s new, hip, clean, modern… from the nice, free and clean toilets in the parking cellar to the music being played in the reception, and the opportunity to self-check in. Will defiantly recommend and will defiantly return if in Frankfurt again.
