Hotels near Forest Hill, Toronto

This apartment was walking distance to so many amazing places! Booking was so easy. Nick was amazing to work with. One of the cleanest cities I’ve ever been to. Beautiful views in a beautiful city. This apartment is a gem! No car needed! Walk and view a lot beautiful sites!

The location is great with everything you need nearby, a little out of the way from Toronto which is what I wanted. The room was nice although a little unclean. There was hair on the floor. The sheets were not ironed (so the impression that they had already been used ran through my head). The highlight is the bathroom, urine on the edge of the toilet, big piles of hair in the walk-in shower. Too bad the other hosts did not respect the bathroom, plus there was no breakfast, it was included in the price but in the end it was just coffee available etc.... That we had to make ourselves.

Just ok. Only stayed one night. Very old overpriced Budget hotel, short walk to Museum. Clean except for edges, corners, nooks and crannies. Bed was comfortable. No elevator and a lot of steep stairs, no one to help with bags. Front desk offered to send busboy from pub to help but no one came, so another guest helped. Cleaning staff helped on check out. I had no noise issues at all but there is a frat house right next door and the pub on the other side. Probably wont return, I booked here due to Toronto hotel prices being outer space high during my visit, but ended up getting a 4 star hotel for the same price at last minute. No staff or front desk in hotel, it’s next door and has limited hours. They do have luggage storage there.

When staying at the hotel, the front desk informed that all non-alcoholic beverages in the mini-bar are free because they have been prepaid. After that, bring some desserts. Someone knocked on the door at night, asking if a turndown service was needed. Before leaving, I was told that there are additional charges: facility charge $12, Neighbourhood Mktg $4.89. This is required upon check-in.

We traveled as a couple and felt that the living environment here was particularly good. It was comfortable and clean. We could also buy some food and cook a meal ourselves. There were subways, commercial streets, and old buildings nearby. The landlords were considerate and warm. It was a great pleasure to meet a friend in a foreign land and feel cordial and warm. We were also lucky to have a companion to travel around the area and work as a part-time tour guide. We were very lucky and left unforgettable and beautiful memories...
