|0.61km from city centerLocation is correct - just 5-min walk from the city center... which you cannot reach by car - and rooms are spacious, silent and well isolated. Staff is helpful, active and cooperative. The place has two bad points though... 1. breakfast is next to the counter at the entrance and with not enough spots to sit in 'rush hour'; 2. one cannot download suitcases at front door 'cause entrance is in a walking part... the park place - public garage - is just 20mts away, but when it rains! it is a nuisance!! Anyway, the whole experience was positive and I would overnight there again if back to Perpignan :)

I had a problem with orange phone company and he went out of his way to converse In French to help correct. room was great and ac worked great. petite dejeuner was excellent. lovely location. easy walk from train station, straight down street opposite side of train station to canal and then 100 meters to the right. the oldest hotel in Perpignan.

|0.42km from city centerAs soon as we arrived at the hotel the receptionist was extremely welcoming and helpful. Nothing was too much to ask. We went to our room which was clean and tidy and nicely decorated. The hotel is situated in a good central location with lovely views over the square. Breakfast that we had at the weekend was served at really good convenient times and was self serve, it was good and served in a nice area on the first floor. The beds were very comfortable - we slept very well (no noise that we were aware of at all). The hotel was easy to book and check in and out was smooth with no trouble. All in all a lovely place to stay and enjoy this beautiful city.

|1.88km from city centerI found this hotel to be ok, with some strengths and some weaknesses. I don't believe the hotel has many suites so a suite upgrade as IHG Diamond might be unlikely - for our stay I noticed none were available on the day of arrival online, so I did not expect it. The state of the room was ok with no major complaints; it was clean and functional. Also some parts of the room were probably renovated recently such as the bathroom so it was a plus. Service was quite good and staff very friendly, noticeably more so than in similar hotels elsewhere therefore it was also a strength. What could be improved would be breakfast. The breakfast room was very full when we arrived so we had to take our breakfast in another room nearby which is used more for people with a laptop to do some work. The fruit salad seemed to be from an outside vendor with plastic wrap rather than the hotel cutting some fresh fruits themselves. Almost all hotels normally offer cut fresh fruits. Also the only vegetable available was uncut tomatoes. Thankfully breakfast was free as IHG Diamond otherwise I would not pay for it.

|4.47km from city centerI was unfortunately arrived a little early. Check-in started at 14:00, so no problem, I thought. However, the reception opened only at 17Uhr, which I found only looking around on the site. My booking number was not accepted by the machine, so I wanted to call to get in the room yet. However, there was no telephone number at all on the ground. Because of very short receipt times, this is a lack of service. The number given by Trip was answered with ”Number has changed”. That is an unacceptable service for me. The hotel reminds of a Premiere class with outdoor and without lift. The rooms were a little higher and smiling. The hotel is located just a few minutes away from the hotel.

|0.34km from city centerThe 2 stars given are for the location, however this is about all I can think of positive. No kettle, tea/coffee in the rooms and an awful smell of drains throughout the hotel especially noticeable when you vacate the lifts to enter your floor! Furniture in dining area is very dated , coffee machine at breakfast service was old and gave chocolate instead of cappuccino, informed staff but did nothing.. We stayed with another couple and would have liked to have enjoyed a drink in the lounge together but it was non existent as the furniture was not comfortable and the bar was never opened. Though due to the smell of drains we didn’t wish to spend too much time in there. There was a basket of croissants on the reception desk to help yourself, unwrapped! I suspect the leftovers from breakfast, however the hygiene aspect of this leaves a lot to be desired! To summarise this hotel is not a 4 star, very dated and needs much attention to bring it up to standard. We would not stay here again.

Il Kyriad hotel, a differenza degli altri alberghi vicini (Brit, B&B, Premiere), è più curato ed il parcheggio non è proprio davanti alle camere (come gli altri, tutti simili fra loro). Dunque più silenzioso. Inoltre il parcheggio è chiuso di notte, quindi un po' più sicuro.
Io mi sono trovato molto bene . Inoltre, il receptionist parlava anche l'italiano (!!!!). Incredibile ! 😊😊
Io non ho mangiato, dato che dovevo fare un.viaggio molto lungo...

|3.96km from city centerOur usual hotel was fully booked, but we always got good value at Campanile before, so we gave this one a try. Totally not disappointed! Rooms are getting on a bit, but they're clean and well maintained, and we slept well, despite some noisy neighbours clattering around. Food at the restaurant was excellent, home-cooked and delivered with gusto and passion by Valerie, who was replacing the chef, off on holiday. Not only does she cook like an angel, but she was full of humour and zest. The service and reception was delightful, the prices more than reasonable, and the sanitary protocols were perfectly respected. Parking is secure, gates are closed at night, and noise (apart from our neighbours at 01h00, well, until a rugbyman sleeping in the downstairs room suggested they ”shut up a bit”...) was perfectly acceptable. We'll definitely be back, and Valerie and Lydie deserve a raise! Breakfast was good and the access to major routes up to the rest of France or down to Spain are easy to access.

L'accueil toujours très agréable, la chambre suffisamment spacieuse et propre avec une literie confortable, que demander de plus. Excellents petits déjeuners avec oranges pressées. Prix très modérés. Nous avons payé un supplément de 3 euros par nuit pour notre petit chien. Le parking est grand et sécurisé. Pour une étape de 1 ou 2 nuits cela reste très correct.

The couple that own the hotel were very welcoming and friendly. They provided us with a map with main attractions and also recommendations for places to eat. Rooms were as described, I am glad we went for the option with the balcony it give that extra sense of space. All in all a great stay. We visited Colliure, Carcassonne and Argles Sur Mer in our 4 day break. There is so many places you can explore from Perpignan by rail and it was uncomplicated.

The staff are always friendly to breakfast and clean up.
No welcome, no friendliness, no helpfulness, no look at or when we walked, sitting alone talking to each other or watching in their screen. Even when you leave, no 'thank you for your reservation with us and a good trip'... Nothing of that.
Not the most important but it's very bad.

Room more than adequate for 1 night. Shower a little inconvenient in bath, but good flow and plenty hot water. Pool very welcome on such a hot day. Lavazza coffee machine in room and receptionist kindly able to give us decaffeinated coffee for it. As we don't have breakfast, we were able to get coffee at the bar which was great for us. If you can get around the fact that the hotel is right by a roundabout on a major road and there is nothing around it, it is fine for 1 night stay. Not sure I would come again though.

|2.87km from city centerA very nice experience for a stopover on the way north from Spain. The hotel is perfectly located, close to the Autoroute exit, for a stopover on the way north or south. Reception was very friendly indeed, and the room nice and clean, with a good bathroom and a separate WC. There is a nice garden with a small poll, which is close to the restaurant and more like a plunge pool, than a swimming pool for families. The restaurant is very good, run by a friendly team and we had a very nice dinner. It was very hot that night, so open glass panels fronting the pool could have been closed and AirCo switched on, but that is a detail. Breakfast was very o.k. as well. We will visit again when coming along that route again.

|1.3km from city centerStayed for four nights in early October. Always a pleasant welcome, and stored my bag without drama when I arrived before midday by train (directly opposite). Looking at previous reviews it appeared my room (214) was refurbished more than twelve months ago but was still pristine. Bathroom fittings were stylish, and indeed the whole hotel as many tasteful artworks displayed. I got the feeling someone has chosen everything from room directional signs to light fittings with great care. The room was small but plenty of open storage, and who comes here to stay in the room anyway? Comfortable bed and no traffic noise despite my room overlooking Avenue General de Gaulle used by many buses. Breakfast was similarly laid out in an immaculately clean servery. Fresh pastries, a selection of breads and lots of locally-sourced produce – the jams and juices were particularly good and even the coffee was roasted in Perpignan. There was never a queue for anything, including the water heater to boil eggs to your liking. Yogurt and cheese was always available and a selection of fruit changed daily. Definitely worth taking, and the hotel appreciates advance booking. The corridor carpets and stairs (no elevator) are getting threadbare, but I suspect they will be shortly replaced. The location was great for me. About 10 minutes walk into the central district past snack bars and kebab shops to reach a good selection of restaurants. I used local trains to visit Les Orgues at Ille-sur-Tet and the fortified town of Villefrance-Verdet-Les Bains. The bus (line 3) to Canet Plage and Canet Sud leaves from the other side of the station. Like every hotel, it is the people who make the experience. All the staff were lovely, and I'd certainly stay here again.

|0.59km from city centerOne of the worst hotel stays that I’ve ever had. The room itself is incredibly basic and has the feel of a hotel rather than a hotel. As it’s a cheap hotel, I could overlook that if it was the only issue. Sadly, the main issue was that I consistently could enter my room due to a faulty lock. The first night involved waiting for an hour and a half while the very concerned concierge failed to unlock the room, resulting in me not having access to my clothes, work equipment or wash kit for the night. I was finally given another room at 4.30am but was asked to be back up early to get my room back. When I requested a refund for that night, it was refused. I pushed this further and was told to email the manager. Weeks later and I’ve still not had a response. The same faulty door also wouldn’t open the following night and the same concierge had to break the lock open, asking me not to leave the room once I was in, as it would probably jam again. A truly awful hotel experience. This would be a 1 star review if it wasn’t for the night concierge who did all he could to help.

|1.26km from city centeraccessibilité nulle réservation en chambre PMR, obligation d'être accompagnée en permanence... impossible d'entrer dans le hall de l’hôtel sans assistance... marche haute à l'entrée serte il y a une rampe en bois disponible mais encore faut-il une personne valide pour pourvoir entrer la demander (la porte est vitrée mais l'accueil à une banque haute qui ne permets pas la visibilité d'une personne en fauteuil). Attention l’ascenseur est extrêmement petit je suis en fauteuil roulant manuel et la porte ferme juste en touchant le fond... Pour ce qui est de la chambre en elle même le seul point positif est le poids standard de la porte. Mais une fois la porte ouverte, l'odeur de tabac froid est très présente. Après plusieurs passages de désodorisant textile et une aération prolongé rien n'y fait... de plus la chambre et une chambre PMR mais, il faut pas vouloir faire le tour du lit, ni vouloir tenter d'utiliser les WC sans avoir une stabilité parfaite, la chasse d'eau n'est pas solidaire de la cuvette et la cuvette et très loin des barres d’appuis. Pour ce qui est de la douche bah à moins de faire plus d'1m80 les pieds ne touchent pas le sol une fois le strapontin déplié... et de toute façon, une personne de petite taille ne peux ouvrir la douche en étant sur le strapontin. Bref une autonomie au top... :(

Buenas comunicaciones: A 10 inutos en coche del centro de Perpignan... y a 15 minutos de Le Barcares. Cerca de zona comercial. Sólo aclarar que no tiene ascensor (o al menos nosotros no lo encontramos).
