|3.57km from city centerJust spent a week at this resort. We had a one bedroom unit. The location is fantastic...right in the middle of the Heavenly Resort area....two blocks to the casino and a few blocks to the lake (albeit a $25.00 per person charge). This was a great base for hiking (must go to Emerald Bay!) and all other activities. The music and bands at night in Heavenly Village were great. Just walk right out your door and you are in the middle of everything. The whole area is very crowded on the weekends. The only problem is parking....you must Valet Park for $32 a day (however, if you trade in or are an owner, the fee is waived). Just walk through Heavenly Village to get to Ralley's Supermarket. There you find everything you need for food, drinks, etc. The workers at the resort were really very nice. I honestly can't think of a thing that was negative.

|3.08km from city centerThis was a strange experience for one of the two days we stayed here. We were in the 300 building, and our room's floor, our furniture, the bed and a fair expanse of the walkway outside our room (which was on the 3rd level) were all vibrating for hours during the day and into the evenings. It took a while to find out that the commercial laundry for the hotel (where the sheets and towels, etc. are washed) was on the first level of this building, and they were using the largest washers and dryers I have ever seen, causing really noticable shaking even on the 3rd level. One of the maintennce guys said they stop doing the laundry at 9 p.m. They did not, so we went to the front desk and asked to be moved, which they did for us the next day. The second room was in a different building, and nothing was shaking. It was actually a much bigger and nicer room, too. My advice is to avoid the 300 building altogether. Other than that, the staff were polite and breakfast was fine.

|2.73km from city centerWe stayed at the Americana Village during September and were booked in for one night. Check in was swift and we were informed where our room was. We were quite surprised at the room, it was very comfortable and would have been nice to stay longer. Unfortunately we were on a tight schedule where accommodation was already booked for our tour of Northern California and Oregon. The room was well equipped with a tv in the lounge and also one in the bedroom area. It also had a kitchen and a good sized bathroom. There were several restaurants close by and also bars. A small breakfast was provided too.

They allowed me to keep my car in their lot the day I checked out so I could ski the last day without paying to park by the gondola.

|2.05km from city centerOur visit was FABULOUS! We each had our own rooms. 2 regular rooms with our own beds and kitchenets and we had 1 big room with full kitchen, balcony and sitting area. This is the room we would meet up in and make plans. The Bell staff is 5 star! Helpful, funny and thoughtful! They were there for us for anything we needed. Had an issue with a fridge and engineering had it fixed within 45 minutes! Close to everything, pretty quiet, Bartenders are amazing and Happy Hour was great! Close to beaches, easy access. Parking is a little challenging if after 5pm... Recommend 1. Make a reservation 2. If you go during busy season be patient 3. Tip your servers of all faucets 4. Look around your room, there are extra towels, blankets and more. Great Trip, Brilliant staffing! We will be back!

|1.4km from city centerThe room was very cute and appropriate for an older mountain lake hotel. It was clean and the amenities were exactly what we needed. The view was beautiful which made up for any room shortcomings and despite it being pretty warm, there was a nice breeze most of the time we were there. Since there's no air conditioning, the floor fan helped in the evenings when the wind died down. The location was great since there were several restaurants within walking distance. The only real complaints are that the pads on the metal chairs on the balcony were all worn down, making it feel like you were sitting on the seat bars. We reversed the pad so that we were sitting on the back section of the pad which helped but the pads should be replaced. Although the mattress was ok, it wasn't that comfortable. An upgrade on the mattress would be helpful.

I can say, when I returned one evening around 7:30 pm, the handicap parking was being used by someone with no handicap plate or card. Two other cars were parked in no parking area next to handicap. Used for accessing the second story stairs. I did tell my wife that it’s BS that people park in handicap area with no placard. My wife was knitting that night and I was trying to watch a TV that was having broadcast issues and the sound was down very low. Only other way noise could have been produced was, we were on second floor and moving around in an older building, the floors made noise as we walked. Small room, small bathroom. Old construction and a little run down building. We were awakened with a notice of making noise and if continued, we would be kicked out LOL. We will not be going back and we do not recommend this hotel. There’s plenty other places to stay. P.S. 8 am to 10 pm is noise time. We were asleep by every night.

The location is right next to the Heavenly Ski Resort, about 2 minutes' walk. The hotel has a parking service, free of charge, and of course free tip. The price of more than 200 RMB per night is super value, and there is no one and only one! The room is large, at least it can accommodate 4 people, the room is a big bed, the living room is a sofa bed, there is a spa bath between the room and the living room that can accommodate three or four people, the room is clean, the microwave and refrigerator are complete, the lobby front desk also helps me Print documents for free, friendly staff, and take the initiative to introduce how to rent skis. Can I give 10 stars!

|3.61km from city centerTeam was attentive before we check in providing information. However after we check-in we had many issues in terms of cleanliness of the house. Bed sheets were dirty with hair, dishwasher and oven was dirty. We tried to reach out to the local office with no response. We were able get in touch with Vacasa main office via text message in the night. You could only text and nobody picked up the phon. . I have been asked to send pictures via text message. The pictures were sent. Nobody called, just an apology via text. I found new sheets in the drawers. Although, I was also not sure about how clean they were, I used them to replace the dirty ones. Somebody from cleaning called me in the morning however I was not able to take it. Called back no response. I left a text message. No response. I called the main office, I have been told to wait until they reach to local office. Waited in the line, has been asked questions again including if I have more pictures!. And also they told me to have somebody to come in check. This is not acceptable regardless of the property you are staying at. Worst experience in years. Considering the price we paid, makes it even harder to believe. After all the back and forth with main office and finally talking with local office, we have been told that we will be reimbursed for the cleaning fee!… and some additional fee for unpleasant experience we had. Total reimbursement was %16. I don’t think this even helps with the unpleasant experience we had. I hope management of this hotel/condo take this message seriously and make sure future guests have a much better experience. Also there is a pool and hot tub on the premises. However, the pool was dirty with flies and we did not feel comfortable using it. I believe this should be also easy to fix by the complex. If not, it should not be advertised as per of the deal.

The temperature is enough. There is a place to eat in the pedestrian street outside. It is very convenient to live here in South Lake Tahoe. The hotel is also very clean.

The room is very warm, with heating and cooling air-conditioning and gas-fired heating embedded in the wall. There is still sound when the heating starts, but it is much quieter than the heating under the window. The location is not bad, in the downtown area of South Lake Tahoe, you can walk to the entrance of the heavenly cable car if you go skiing. The room was clean, the bathroom was nice, and the bed was medium to soft but comfortable. The disadvantage is that there is a lot of noise after going to bed at night, heavy footsteps in the corridor, knocking on doors in other rooms, etc. There is no microwave in the room, and there is a charge for using the microwave in the restaurant. The motel is very good, but if the budget is sufficient, try to live in a better place.

Shower worked well, there may need to be another longer shelf in the bathroom for sundry items (lotions, contact cases, toothpaste.) When we went there, it was cooling down, but the air conditioner was very warm, so it felt very warm, but the noise was still a bit loud, so I turned it off before going to bed and added a layer of quilt. The bathroom is also very clean, the space is also large, the hot water is very hot, and the bath is very relieved! Parking is also free. The hotel is in the South Lake Tahoe area, you can walk to the lake across the street, and you can see the starry sky at night. In short, it exceeded expectations!

There are two large TVs in the bedroom and living room.
There is no microwave, but you can call the front desk and ask for it, and it will be delivered to the room, which is very convenient.
The hot spring in the hotel swimming pool is very comfortable. There is no one on weekdays, so it's great.

|2.67km from city centerHave now stayed there two different occasions - both time was the 1st guest in the rooms I was in. Nice amenities, well-decorated, and clean facility. (some guests were not careful in the public areas, but staff quickly cleaned up spills/garbage) Price in reasonable given the days I stayed (weekends always more costly, as are days when there are special events in town) - I checked with the ****** I usually stay at and their pricing was more! I erred in not putting both says of my most recent stay on one reservation, but called and Chris at the desk made sure to merge both so I didn't have to move from one room to another mid-stay. Then when the TV wouldn't work, the night staff sent someone who thought they might be able to fix it, up, but they couldn't. Very apologetic. The next morning the manager sent maintenance, they couldn't fix it, so manager accompanied maint. and still they couldn't get it to work. Manager offered to move me to a new room then. I declined, since I could still watch Netflix and YouTube. Then 10 minutes later, manager returned with another maint. person, and they tried a couple more things, eventually pulling back cabinet where TV connections to building were, and manager found and fixed a faulty connector! Then when checking out, etc, came upon some dogs locked up in a black SUV with no windows cracked and 72 and partially sunny out. Chris at desk went thru every check-in slip to find he described vehicle, and called that person to come take care of their dogs. (Chris, and I, were surprised since the hotel is dog-friendly and the dog would've been fine inside) All the staff in addition to those mentioned were the most helpful, accommodating, customer-centric people!

The parking lot is really cramped, so parking and getting out can be a little tricky. The room was smaller than some of the other places we’ve stayed. It was nice having a mini fridge (although it didn’t have a freezer) and microwave (although small and old). There was no coffee maker in the room but Starbucks is across the street. The bed and pillows were fine. Shower, heat, wifi all worked fine. Nothing that sets is apart (bad or good).

After a not-so-good hotel stays at another hotel the night before Forest Suites offered quite a few pleasant surprises. The first was when we checked in they had upgraded us to a two-bedroom suite without any additional cost to us. The Room was just amazing my family member and I each had our own bedroom and bathroom there was also a living room and a kitchen with a refrigerator. Outside there was a pool and a Hot Tub and an outdoor fire pit. The Resort was just a few minute walk to the Heavenly Village a great little touristy stop with shops and lots of restaurants there is something for everyone to enjoy. My family member and I stayed there for two nights and I wish we could have stayed longer. What really topped off the experience for me was finding a welcome gift of slippers waiting for me in my bedroom from the Forest Suites Resorts.
