Great location. Although choices for dinner weren't to my taste they were edible however the breakfast was definitely worth it. Freshly cooked omelettes, cooked breakfast or continental including chilled fizz everyday. Room was clean and comfortable can believe what we paid for the half board stay. Roof top sky bar definitely worth the visit

Have stayed in Agur before so happy to return. It’s been recently renovated so was fresher and more upbeat than before. Great location, staff and cute cafe bar and patio with full breakfast available. Even let us put our cases in a store room for free until time to leave. Only complaint was our room on the first floor was noisy, due to being close to the cafe and noisy folk next door as there’s no soundproofing. Not many coat hangers in wardrobe either but other than that more than happy and would def recommend for those looking for a budget friendly hotel with a central location and friendly staff

Can't fault the overall cleanliness however the carpets in the corridors are worn and patched up in places. The walls have missing pieces of plaster and could do with renovation. Room was passable but no little extras. In the information on their site, the hotel lists a number of tv channels available but there was only one English speaking channel that we could get and this was a news programme concentrating on the wars in Syria and Israel. When we queried this we were given conflicting information. Although there was a choice of meat, fish, pasta, and salad every day there was little variety day to day. The food was invariably cold. Deserts were the same every day. Entertainment was pretty mediocre. All in all quite disappointing

Stayed at this hotel as we thought the pictures of the pool looked nice on the photos compared to other hotels in Fuengirola. However, the pool area is one of the worst I’ve been too. Not the kind of pool you can relax at. The drinks are extremely over priced at the pool bar. There’s no drinks allowed at the side of the pool either. Usually I like to get a drink n sit with my feet in the pool. But got wrong off the life guard for having my drink too close to the pool. I travel a lot and it’s the first hotel where I’ve ever been told I can’t do this. Really bad atmosphere around the pool and dirty too so we didn’t spend much time around the pool which was a shame as we’re not really beach people. The pool was extremely disappointing, however, what made this hotel even worse was the staff. They were extremely arrogant at the pool bar and also at reception. Firstly at the pool bar we asked for a glass with some ice. OMG you would think we asked to lend some money from the till. Both the woman and especially the man are some of the most arrogant staff I have ever met. Especially after we paid €4.00 for the world’s smallest pint. Also one day I was in reception to enquire about a taxi. I but my glass of water on the counter top where the very rude and arrogant lady told me ‘this is not a bar so take your water off now’. It wouldn’t have bothered me if she asked me politely but the way she spoke to me was just so rude. I wish I had got her name. I don’t know how the hotel can get away with employing people like this. The hotel seemed to have a lot of Spanish staying in the hotel as we never heard any English staying there. I think maybe there is a bad feel towards British people as there’s no customer service what so ever. This is the first time I’ve ever been on holiday and wrote a bad review about the staff. But trust me, if you’re looking for basic customer service you would expect when on holiday, please don’t stay at this hotel.

Hotel is located close to train and bus station and beach across the road . Overall our stay was very pleasant - rooms need attention - bedside table and dressing table are exactly that - cheap tables with no storage space . Bathroom also lacks storage space . Shampoos soap and toilet paper the cheapest of the cheapest . These small things don’t go unnoticed and all add to overall impression of the hotel . This hotels greatest asset is its staff who are so kind and friendly . Definitely not 4* rating in my view .

I returned a week ago from my visit to Ona Las Rampas. I really couldn't fault this hotel at all. It was very clean, the staff were so very friendly. I only ate in the restaurant for breakfast and found that the staff were all so very happy, it was an excellent sign to show that they were happy within their jobs. The staff were all amazing, which made my stay an even better one. I enjoyed my breakfast, although I tended to eat the same food. But there was a large variety of food choices. The location is magnificent, close to the bus & train station. Shops, bars, restaurants and the beach. Although it wasn't a problem for me, as I only sat by the pool for an hour or so on two occasions, but I could see that there would be an issue with regards to not enough sunbeds and umbrella's during the height of the season. Unfortunately, due to the drought Spain are experiencing the pool closed a few days before I departed. But I would have only used it at the end of the evening. It wasn't an issue for me as I preferred to go to the beach. Excellent hotel and location for anyone wanting to get away on their own. I felt very safe walking during the evenings. Also, there is a theatre a very short walk away from the hotel. Whilst I was there they had the show Annie. The shows are all English speaking, I would recommend taking a look to see what is being shown whilst you are staying there. The ticket was €25.00. I will most certainly be coming back to visit this hotel again.

Pleasant stay in this 4-star hotel located behind the A7 motorway but which you cannot hear because all the rooms face the sea. Free parking always accessible and with plenty of parking spaces. The rooms are large and well equipped. The catering and service are up to par with themed buffets. A large swimming pool completes the set with a small pool for children. The beach is directly accessible from a secure gate. Some entertainment during the day and some evenings. A beautiful hotel for an end of stay, for example, located less than 30 minutes from Marbella and Malaga airport.

As I have a wheelchair, but can go a few steps, we booked the family room for space for the wheelchair. So living room with sofa, table, tv, and a kitchenett (no cooking plate, as that's not allowed in a hotel), but microwave, watercooker, plates, cutlery etc. At arrival there was not only water in the fridge, but also cava, and some snacks and healthy cookies, which was perfect, as we arrived after midnight. And a bedroom with a double bed, tv, bedside tables and space for clothes. The bathroom has a toilet with essentials (soap, shampoo etc) and a lovely hot, big shower. Breakfast is inside or outside on the roof. They serve bread, ham, cheese, jam, fruit, yoghurt, juice, cereal and small cookies. Also different tea's and coffee,'s. (The only tiny minus is the lack of diversity. Maybe some days serve sausage, an egg on Sunday, etc.) Very friendly and helpful staff and clean room. (A tiny minus to change towels every other day which is not needed, and thinking more environmentally friendly.) The place is very central, close to the beach, the train and bus stations, the markets and the city centre, but without the noisy boulevard. (Yet always bring ear plugs on holiday.) The rooms have darkening curtains. There's a playground outside. We really enjoyed our stay and are already planning for our next stay.

One word comes to mind - adequate. For someone that hasn't been on a Spanish holiday before, it was all a learning experience. We didn't have a bad time at the Stella Maris - it was all just okay, the air conditioning was 'okay', the studio layout was 'okay', the beds - hmmm, they were barely 'okay', so all in all it was 'okay'. The location olong the beach was good. The nearby supermarket, ATMs, and other places were handy. Our view was spectacular from the 13th floor. The cleanliness was again - okay. Would we go back, I doubt it, but that's mostly because we know what is on offer there and would make other choices. For this trip ---- it was adequate!

I’ve given 4 stars because: Pros- The apartment was fab, pool view, air con in living area and bedroom. Full size fridge freezer, washing machine, dishwasher, kettle toaster, coffee thing, washing lines and balcony furniture. Mop and bucket and sweeping brush. A little welcome package of washing up liquid, cloth, bin bag, sponge, dishwasher tab and a laundry pod. Advised on check in that for our 5 night stay our room would be cleaned once along with fresh sheets and towels and everything else was down to us to clean which in fairness I would have done anyway! We got disinfectant and toilet bleach in the supermarket downstairs for less than €2. The reviews complaining about the decor are ridiculous, is it a bit outdated? Sure but is it clean and liveable? Absolutely! Pool area was immaculate, plenty of sun beds and not many around the pool which was actually nice. Cons- The pool water was murky, we seen it being cleaned twice daily but the water itself could do with some treatment but there is a drought so we think that could be why. It didn’t stop us or others using it and everyone used to shower before entering and exiting. The bathroom is small and there is a massive thing opposite the toilet that should be removed as it made getting in and out of the bath to shower a bit dangerous. All in all 4 out of 5 stars, we would be happy to stay here again and very happy to recommend. The walk down to the ***** is 3-5 mins depending on your speed, the ‘hill’ back is not steep at all. A great location, easily accessible.

You only need to cross a road to get to the beach. I checked in on December 30th. Although I couldn't go to the sea, I could wear a long sleeve to cope with the weather (I thought it was very cold). The location was perfect. Although we were locked in the elevator, Ctrip's customer service was too friendly (I thought they would be perfunctory) and helped us deal with it in a timely manner despite difficulties in language communication with the hotel! Thank you very much 🙏

I am a supporter of the independent, the small guy. I also like to explore, hence when at large hotels I use very little of the facilities I have paid for. Hotel Marbella is a small local hotel, literally metres from one of the many restuarant areas and 7 mins walk to the beach. In the opposite direction is a busy local shopping area is again just mins away. The train station is walking distance and the coach transfer drop off point (Hotel Casa Consistorial) is 5 mins walk. That said the hotel is very quite possibly due to being on a pedestrian street. No noise pollution and believe every room has the typical, traditional mini balcony you find in most town houses with air conditioning. The hotel is basic, very clean and has just about all the necessaries, hair dryer, mirror, TV, chair etc plus a safe (free of charge). Daily bed making, and sparkle. The reception is 24/7 and the staff are helpful, friendly and speak good English. They do serve a breakfast but it is pastries, fruit juice and coffee for an extra few euros. There is a sun deck on the roof which is small and although has tables and chairs could do with some loungers. I really enjoyed my stay, meeting other guests English and Spainish, the location is brilliant, everything is a very short walking distance including the weekly market. The restuarants are conveniently located and Fuengirola is a lovely town to visit.

We are 2 pensioners who stayed for 14 days this month, travelling with Jet 2. If we returned to Fuengirola again we would probably stay at this Hotel because of its location. Here, however, are 10 points to enable you to decide whether this Hotel is suitable for you; some good, some bad. 1) On Day 2 of our stay, we returned to the Hotel to find the twin beds invaded with masses of small ants. We immediately reported it to Reception. 5 minutes later a man appeared with a spray for all possible entrance areas. 5 minutes later, a cleaner arrived with fresh bedding. Within 15 minutes of reporting the infestation it had been dealt with. During the remainder of our stay, we had one day when the ants appeared at the tap end of the bath. We dealt with them ourselves with boiling water from the shower. On a few other occasions isolated ants appeared in the bedroom and bathroom which we killed. Speaking to another resident on our floor, they did not have a problem so we were possibly just unlucky. 2) On one day during our stay we spotted a cockroach wandering through our flat which we evicted and no others appeared. 3) The room was cleaned every other day. The cleaners did a reasonable job. 4) The TV has BBC1 (CH401), BBC2 (CH402), BBC3 (CH403) and ITV (CH404) although they are not marked as such on the programme guide and you need to get them by inserting the programme number on the remote control. 5) The town's large indoor shopping centre is opposite (separated by its car park). It contains a large Carrefour Hypermarket (not open on Sundays). 6) Local Bus L1 stops outside the Hotel. This travels through Fuengirola in a large loop (passing by the bas station) ending up back on the other side of the Shopping Centre. Return to the Hotel on foot through the SC (picking up shopping) or around the outside if late at night. 16 minute frequency. Last bus is at 23.05 in the winter, later in the summer. Flat Fare of E1.20 but you can buy a 'BONOBUS' Card from the driver for E10 which covers 10 rides and can be re-loaded. One card can be used for more than one customer. 7) Turn left outside the Hotel's door and under the Motorway to get to the beach and castle. Turn right for the bus stop and shopping centre. 8) WIFI reception in the Room was good (5th floor). 9) There is a Large Skateboard Park 200 yards from the Hotel (we didn't use it). On the other side of the 'Canal' there is a very large children's playground (much bigger than the one at the Hotel) with numerous communal barbeques (used by locals and busy on Sundays) - a cheap way to entertain and feed your children. 10)If you like sitting on your balcony you will find it noisy with traffic whichever side of the Hotel your room is; but when the door to the Balcony (which is large) is closed, there is no noise. As you can see; there are plus and minus points with this Hotel. At the time of our stay it was too cold for us the test the large pools and many sun-beds were unused. The bar was also virtually unu

We have stayed at the Yaramar several times now and returned for a birthday celebration. The complimentary bottle of bubbly was a lovely touch. As usual we had a really enjoyable stay. Perfect location close to beach, bars and restaurants, shops train and busses. Rooms are well equipped, spacious and comfortable with lovely views. Toiletaries are supplied and a tea tray replenished daily. There is a charge of €10 per week for use of fridge and free use of safe and air conditioning. Staff are really welcoming and friendly and were so patient with our attempts at speaking Spanish, which was greatly appreciated. The pool area is good with free use of pool towels(small charge applies if you want to change them during stay) The restaurant serves a good breakfast and evening meal…..the only downside being the speed of the coffee machines which causes a lengthy wait in peak times….I feel some separate hot water urns or additional machines would be really beneficial…. Having said that the coffee is probably the best I’ve tasted in a hotel restaurant. Evening entertainment was perfect for our taste with lots of live music to dance too, and reasonable bar prices, especially during the happy hour. There are also some daytime activities. Thank you so much to all the staff for making our stay so enjoyable and hope to return soon.

We stayed at the Caleyro Boutique Apartments in June 2023. The apartment block itself is modern and apartments had everything you would need. The apartment itself had a very modern kitchen and living room, with a tv with hundreds of channels. The bedrooms were clean, comfortable and even had AC which is needed in the Spanish summer! The bathrooms were very modern with vanity lights and a rainfall shower. There is even a balcony in each unit which is spacious and has a table and chairs. The amenities included a beautiful pool, chairs and tables along with sun beds. There is also a ping pong table which we got loads of fun out of. Pedro our front desk concierge was fantastic, nothing was too much for him and he always had a smile on his face! The apartments are located about a five minute walk from Los Boliches train station with connection to the airport and Malaga. The town of Los Boliches is also about a five minute walk with beautiful restaurants in hidden alleys along with restaurants and bars on the beach front. The beach would be about a ten minute walk. I cannot recommend these apartments enough I’d love to come back every year!

Advantages: The location is right by the sea, you can lie on the beach when you go out, and you can see the sea view from the balcony. It is recommended to pay a little more for a sea view room, the view is not a little better. Disadvantages: Poor sound insulation, there are people singing at the seaside in the middle of the night, it is too lively and noisy. The bed in the twin room is less than 1 meter wide, it feels like it is only 90 cm at most, which is narrow. Parking problem: On this road by the sea in front of the hotel, you can park within the blue line as long as there is an empty parking space. After parking, go to the roadside machine to pay the parking fee, print out the bill and put it under the front glass of the driver's seat. The maximum fee during the day is 3.25, and it is free at night and on weekends.

100% recommend this appointment., such a grest place to stay. We booked this appointment for a lady's holiday, we were not disappointed. We had a stunning Seaview which was perfect, the rooms were spacious and clean. The man on the reception was very friendly and helpful. Great location for food and drinks and the beach in just over the road. There is a lovely bakery next the the apartment too and a few supermarkets close by. There was everything you need in the appointment, towels was not very big, no tea towels or any complimentary tea bags/ coffee but there is a little shop next door1 In our room we had a hairdryer which was placed in a drawer in the main room, the only mirrors were in the two bathrooms, might be nice to have one in the bedrooms too. In the smaller rooms the plug were on the wall where the bed was meaning you had to sit what every your charging on your bed, wardrope space is good and there is a safe to use too.

Brand new glamping, just opened. Kitchenware, room, beds, bathroom... everything brand new. Lots of staff to look after you and all 10/10 in attention and friendliness. A great animation group with 4 boys, who despite the bad weather, went out of their way to improvise activities. There are no caravans and no cars can access the interior, so the tranquillity is enormous to relax for a few days. We will definitely return, because it was a 10/10!!

The environment of the apartment is cozy. You could get to the swimming pool directly from the terrace. The location of the apartment on top of a hill made going up there a workout. The inside of the apartment itself is ok, but e.g. the lighting is not ve

This hotel has good points and some not so good. Firstly its a lovely clean hotel cleaners constantly around rooms serviced every day. Recpetion staff great always on hand to help book trips taxies etc. Pool area lovely. Now the bad points firstly on arrival we were informed that there was going to be extra charge for pool view from january 25 could be 12e or 20e per night depending on time of year i asked if we booked through travel agency would it automatically include in booking they didn't know noone wants an extra charge like that on arrival it will become a two tier hotel. The pool didn't open until 10am and for last two days it changed to 10.30am very late if you don't want to be out between 12 n 3 can't see a reason for this. And god help anyone in block beside paddle courts noise horrendous all day talk around pool guests not happy and entertainment finished on sat 14th sept which is very early as hotel still full and plenty of children still around with a result bar very quiet at night no atmosphere we had to go elsewhere for entertainment. Have stayed in other hotels in this area and never had this problem.

Satyed for 2 weeks on half board for 1st 2 weeks of school holidays. 4 adults and 2 children. Checking in was very quick and easy. Arranged a credit facility for my wife and I so we could settle any bills at the end of the holiday. No problem and reception were very helpful. Rooms were large, very clean and comfortable. The housekeeping staff were very good. The only downside to our room was it being on the side where the sun was full on the balcony for the afternoon and evening making it very warm to sit out on. The proximity to the station was never a problem noise wise. A suggestion would be to have some form of awning added to these rooms to provide some shade. There are two swimming pools, neither of them particually large. The nearest to the hotel seems the most popular as that is where most of the daytime activities take place, water sports, water excercise etc. The further pool has a shallow end and is located further from the hotel building. There are plenty of sunbeds but not enough sun shades which makes for interesting viewing at 10 o'clock in the morning. Access to the pools and gardens are limited to between 10 AM and 8 PM. There are gates by the terrace locked outside of those hours to prevent sun bed reserving however the result of this is guests queueing at these gates from before 9AM, some swapping with family so that breakfast does not prevent them being at the front come 10AM and ready for the daily Sun Bed race. We didn't have any problem wandering down after the main rush and finding sunbeds where we wanted. Talking of breakfast, the hotel restaurant was a decent size with plenty of tables, from tables for 2 upto tables for 8. The staff were friendly and helpful. All meals were buffet style and there was plent of choice. Although we could watch someone cooking at one station this was not ”show cooking” rather just certain dishes being cooked in an open area - things like omelettes or fried eggs at breakfast and fish, pork chops and chicken slices at dinner. Some food was difficult to keep hot but most was just about an acceptable temperature. Labelling of dishes was somewhat erratic, for instance a soup described as Kentaki Chicken but was actually an Onion Soup. There are 2 bars, one by the main pool and the other is the Cafeteria (the main entertainment area) open from 2PM onwards. Again very friendly staff in both, and especially in the Cafeteria bar. Entertainment is mixed, some pretty good and others a little iffy. Much depends on what ones expectations are. All-in-All this is a very good value hotel in a good location close to the beach and with excellent transport links close by. The only downside here is the road from the beach/bus stop back to the hotel is up a very steep hill. Outside of the hotel there is a bus stop at the foot of the hill where the L1 bus runs into Fuengirola past the market place (tuesday and saturday) the bus station in the centre and then on to a large shopping centre near to Sohail C
