|0.36km from city centerA very pleasant stay in a clean room with decent amenities. The bed was comfy and I didn’t hear noise from other guests, it was good to have blackout blinds too. The location was perfect for my conference and walking distance to the city centre (about 15 mins). The breakfast is decent and there are snacks and drinks available as well.

We stayed at the heart of Birmingham city, with designated hotel parking lots at the basement (you have to pay extra for parking but £13 overnight is good enough).
Free coffee and hot chocolate at the lobby.
Room is comfortable and of good size. Interestingly, the bathroom door serves its dual role of both the bathroom’s and the toilet’s door.
Breakfast was fantastic with ingredients to make a full English breakfast (minus the black pudding).
Recommend this place if you want to be close to bustling heart of the city center.

|1.21km from city centerThe hotel is centrally located in the city centre about 20 mins walk from the New Street railway station. Just next to Chinatown and the famous open and indoor market in Birmingham. The coach station is just 5 mins walk from the hotel.
The kitchen and all the facilities in the room is good. All the staff are friendly, polite and helpful. My microwave was out of order one day and they replaced it in just 5 mins time. Really excellent and will definitely come back again.

It is right inbetween the city center (New Street Station & Bullring) and the beautiful Brindley Place are by the old canal. The room itself was clean and looked mostly like it was in the picture, I also had a pretty cool view onto the old canal from the 15th floor. The carpet and the couch looked a bit ”worn down”, but it was clean nonetheless. The staff was friendly, nice and very helpful. It was nice that the breakfast was included and there was a good choice of breakfast options. I can 100% recommend this hotel when staying in Birmingham. I had a nice time and didn't miss anything while staying at the Holiday Inn Express.

|0.73km from city centerThe toilet is not very sanitary and cannot get in water in the bathroom You have to use a floor mop to push the water back and it takes at least an hour to get the water. I stayed for two nights, but on the first night I found two towels that were quite dirty, so I called them. I asked for two relatively clean towels, but after waiting for 40 minutes, no one changed them, so I took them myself. The staff who answered the phone should have forgotten. Maybe they forgot all the guests' problems while chatting!

When we entered the room, there was an armchair with a base for our child. However, it was neither prepared as a bed, nor a sheet, a pillow, etc. We had to make the bed ourselves and use the towels as sheets.

|1.77km from city centerPretty close to the City Centre - maybe about 12-15 mins walk from New Street station. Location was good, small stores close by and the price was certainly good for the December dates we stayed in. The room itself was nice, the bed was big but the bathroom was real tiny as in I could touch both sides of the walls easy (but honestly we preferred to pay less than pay extra £100 for another hotel in the same area) so it was no big problem for us; we managed it okay. There was no kettle in the room but you can get hot water anytime downstairs near the breakfast bar. We also asked to change rooms as there was a disruptive guest on our first night and they gave us a quiet corner room for the next night! We did manage to leave our suitcases with the front desk for £2 on the checkout day so we were not lugging bags around until our train back at 5pm. Overall, it is as the name says, its good if you are on a budget and don't mind small toilet and bathroom. The room was clean, the staff helpful and we had all the basics :)

The only downside is the shower area, the curtain was short and water spilling everywhere when take shower.
Overall I would rate 4.0 for Comfort Inn due to excellent location and reasonable price

This hotel is to take the airport light rail for three minutes, then get off the train for ten minutes to walk through the exhibition hall. The exhibition hall is about five minutes walk. Remember that the hotel entrance is at the pizza shop. After entering the door, the elevator is on the second floor. It is the lobby, don't go wrong or circle. The breakfast is very suitable for the Chinese stomach, and the variety is very rich. I live here because I want to participate in the cake show every November. The picture is that it is convenient to go to the exhibition hall without going too far, otherwise the mobile phone is tired. Actually, it is also very tired, stop and go all the way. The hotel is actually a Shanghai-like Heshenghui, a big shopping mall. The hotel reception is in the corner of the second floor of the shopping mall. The guest room is inside the corner building built outside the main building. I feel that the floor of the guest room is built instead of cement, but the quality is very good. . There are not many stores in the mall, the British consumption is not high in the country, and there is a little bit of Colombia in the north. It feels high consumption. There are very few other shops. There is a coffee shop costa in the mall. You can buy a sandwich clerk to help you heat up. The huge sandwich is delicious. There is a specialty store in the Swiss Lotus chocolate, and it is more cost-effective to sell chocolate. Finally, the check-out of this hotel is not to check the room, the room card can go directly to the front desk.

|1.37km from city centerIt wasn't our first visit to a hotel from a Malmaison chain and safe to say the experience didn't disappoint. The hotel is positioned very centrally and everything you need is at most 10 minutes walk away. Unlike other Malmaison hotels we have visited this one also offers spa and gym facilities which are open for the hotel guests and although we haven't had a chance to make use of them they did look nice and we will make sure to book a much longer stay to enjoy these facilities in the future.
Breakfast as always didn't disappoint and is highly recommended. Same goes to the bar area which is very nicely design allowing the guests to enjoy a nice drink in the evening.
