The hotel is wonderful in many aspects. The interesting thing is that it is located in Walliselen, just right next to Glatt Zentrum shopping department store. The hotel offers air-conditioned rooms and free WiFi access throughout the property. The Internet speed is fast. With the modern electric tram, not only the bus, brings me to reach the city center of Zurich and the Main Train Station in short time. In the room, it provides a flat-screen cable TV, a desk, and a bathroom with shower. At lobby area, I noticed that guests can also enjoy the food corner. There is a vending machines there. When need anything, the 24-hour front reception always is there. Very helpful staffs. I also would like to mention the General manager, Mr. Frank Trapa. He is very friendly. Front desk staff not really friendly. I found them a little bit arrogant. They speak in english with us even we are local tourist. Anyway, they seem not to know how to say ”hello” (no hello, no welcome etc...) Then, at checkout, same attitude! The lady didn't really care about our stay but just asked if we used the minibar. Considering this is a 4 stars Hotel, when a small feeling of welcome or smile is not there, I don't mind to come back again.

My family and I stayed at Reloc when we moved to Switzerland in Aug 21. The first good thing about the reloc apartments is the location, which is central Oerlikon - irrespective of where you are from, you will find a community to interact with. And, so many parks around you, that kids would have no problem adjusting. The Studio itself was functional and handy, liked the setup, wifi and the well-spaced Balcony. A couple of things Reloc should improve on: provide bigger dishwashers, fix the vents in the bathroom (being a non-smoker and having to passive-smoke through my stay was frustrating), and use glass cases for showers (please, NO ridiculous curtains!).

Opened in May 2015, this guesthouse is located in the northern part of Zurich, a 5-minute walk from the fairgrounds and the indoor stadium. Each room at the Gästehaus Hunziker features free WiFi access, wooden floors, and a private bathroom. From Monday to Friday, breakfast is served in the Restaurant Riedbach on the ground floor. At weekends, breakfast is served at the Restaurant Bagel Boys next door. Rainwater is collected and used for flushing the toilets. Heat pumps use waste heat from a nearby data processing centre for heating and warm water. The solar panels on the roof cover around 40% of the guesthouse's electricity use. A really disappointing experience, the aircon in the room did not work, we were given a double bed even though we had called ahead and were reassured that we had two twin beds. We got a room here as part of a package with Coldplay tickets so the room wasn’t booked directly with the hotel. This was the main reason we called ahead of our stay to ensure we had the correct bed setup - we are father and daughter so a double bed was not appropriate. When I phoned to confirm the person behind the desk said he was too busy with check ins and would call me back- two hours later and still nothing. When I called back the person I spoke to was rushing to get me off the phone, I confirmed that they had our booking and asked if we had a room with twin beds. The person I spoke to advised we had two twin beds and everything was fine, when we checked in after our concert this was not the case. The hotel was fully booked and the bed could not be split into two twins so we had to make do with a double. The room itself was very hot and stuffy, the aircon didn’t work - initially we couldn’t get it to switch on due to the finicky lock on the window but even once on it did not do much to cook down the room. The only positive thing we have to say really is that the breakfast was okay and staff did try and resolve the situation with the bed by coming to check if they could split the bed into two which unfortunately couldn’t be done. The shower was mediocre and there were no toiletries provided in the room - only some soap for hand washing. The shower heat was not consistent, it kept going hot and cold whilst in use. Overall I would not recommend this hotel, I am not sure how this is classed as 4 stars.

Stayed in Zwiback for about a month when moved to work at Empa (and also for 2 nights in winter). It was a very good experience for both a short and long stay. The hotel is 5-10 minutes of walking from Empa and Eawag, and is very close to the 12 tram station (which takes you for ~20 min to the airport, 5 minutes to Stettbach railway station, from which you can take a train to Zurich center- just two stations). The hotel is combined with a bistro, where the hotel guests have their breakfast and also where the staff office is located. The hotel rooms are in a separate wing of the Zwiback multi-apartment building complex. The room was clean, spacious, had a balcony and also had a small fridge. [Having s small kettle in the room would make a difference, especially for colder season stays- my recommendation for the staff as a possible enhancement.] I stayed at the 5th floor, so that I had an amazing view to the mountains at a far sight. The hotel staff is very-very kind and helpful. Especially I would like to mention Daniela, Miriam and Melanie, who are absolutely amazing!!!

Amazing service, rooms are great. The service when you get a good waiter that can help translate it’s so helpful. Kevin was very helpful and told us what we needed to do to get a complimentary beverage. The room itself was great we got a double and the rooms are great. They also helped us getting around the area gave us the correct information to get to the designated location.

I have spent 18 days working from JOYN Zurich so think this should be a fairly accurate review of my experience. For context, JOYN is new so may still be working through teething issues, but hopefully this is useful feedback. Pros; - Comfortable, well equipped rooms. I was in one of the largest apartments they offer and it is a good space to spend a lot of time - The kitchenette whilst small is workable and has most of what you'd need - Well located close to the airport and about 25 mins by tram to central Zurich - Nice bathroom and good shower pressure - Gym is good with nice new equipment - Very close to great supermarkets (Coop and Migros next door) - The communal spaces are lovely, including the central courtyard and roof gardens - Strong water pressure from the shower (although the drain didn't seem to be able to cope with the volume of water which meant potential overflowing of the shower unless carefully managed) - The room has a small dishwasher. There were two dishwasher tablets provided and these weren't topped up by the cleaners, meaning you'll need to buy more Unfortunately the cons are pretty significant though, particularly if you want to work from here; Cons - The wifi is atrocious. At best the speeds hover around 1mbps which isn't good enough for stable whatsapp or facetime calls, let alone Teams or Zoom work calls. I thought this may have been my room but is pretty much my experience in all the open spaces including the ground floor communal spaces (see screenshot from Speedtest). This makes it unsuitable for any work. - The cleaning services are a bare minimum. After one week they changed my linen and towels but didn't vacuum, sweep the floor, empty bins or clean the bathroom. After another 7 days they'd hadn't come to clean again and when prompted they said it would be cleaned that day (but it wasn't). On the 8th day I asked and again they promised to have it cleaned. Whilst I wouldn't mind cleaning myself, there is no vacuum cleaner, cleaning cloths or anything else in the room to clean with, so unless you want to buy your own, be prepared for it to get pretty dusty and the bathroom to get dirty. Cleaning also didn't include replacing the kitchen towels so you'll have to wash these yourself if you're staying for an extended period. - Other than the supermarkets nearby there is pretty much nothing else around Perhaps they're not used to guests having longer stays, but with cleaning services like this, it will become pretty horrible unless guests buy the cleaning products and do it themselves.

You are a fantastic team who have accommodated all my plan changes, even when it was at a short notice due to flight cancellations etc. The place is spotless and much better than any hotel in Central Zurich. Stayed for 2D1N. Comfortable and spacious room. One tram down to the hb station. There are a lot of restaurants downstairs so no worries if you wanna settle on your meals nearby. Elegant, older, well maintained, albeit a bit dated, the hotel is located directly across the street from the Zurich main train station and trolleys. If, as we did, you want to be within easy walking distance of the train station this is a great location. If you want to be in a very quiet location on or close to the lake, this is not where you want to stay. There is a small grocery store in the underground passageway to the train station. The hotel common areas are well-maintained, and it has a small bakery and bar that serves a very good dinner. There is a separate restaurant space on the second floor that only serves breakfast, and the food and the staff are excellent and it’s fairly priced. However, the hotel does not have a conventional restaurant. The lobby and rooms are small by american standards, but very quiet and well-appointed, have a good bed and the bathroom has a bath/shower combo with very good water pressure (and air conditioning). The small electric refrigerator in the room was set up as a mini-bar, but it was ok to remove the bottles. It does not get very cold. We were upgraded to a small suite with a sitting room, so I don’t know what a standard room would be like. The front desk staff was very friendly and helpful. There did not appear to be a concierge. The hotel allowed us to check-out 2 hours later, which we appreciated. All in all, a very good hotel for the price. However, if you’re looking for a very high-end american-style hotel, this may not be for you, but you should expect to pay two to three times more for those hotels

The biggest problem is accessing this studio. The owners always claim, but never send the password for access in advance to the guests. So we ended up stuck with our suitcases in the dark and it was pouring with rain having to call a phone number displayed on the premises door. This was answered eventually and our access was granted. We had to repeat this process to gain access to the inclusive internet and on our checkout to find out where to leave and secure the key. Location is good as its convenient for the tram station which is for No.8 and No.3 trams. These take you to Belleview or Central respectively. The location is peaceful and there is a wonderful Vietnamese restaurant directly opposite the main tram terminus (100meters walk). The room itself has almost everything needed for your stay, but lacks a washing machine/dryer for clothes. It has a large radiator that quickly warms the room and electronic venetian blinds. Kettle, fridge, small cooker and microwave, shower and TV are provided but none of the channels were English speaking (even English movies were re-dubbed into German).

However, we can’t seem to have an option not to have the staff from coming in to clean our room whenever we are out for an activity. We prefer to have more privacy as we do keep some of our less important belongings in the room. Overall, it is a good experience.

The location is very good, it is close to the city center, and there is a public tram stop nearby.  But we are self-driving tours. There is no paid large public parking lot. The so-called parking lots shown on the mobile phone map are private or supermarkets. In short, he will not give you parking as soon as the supermarket closes. Payment is not paid or paid. What a great hotel! We were so happy with everything about it. It was close to the train station in Zurich with easy access to bus and tram routes. We were so impressed with the employees, everyone was very kind and helpful. The room was large and spotless. We especially loved all the amenities , the top quality soap and lotions, water , robes, slippers, sleep masks. We felt very pampered. We paid for the breakfast and were not disappointed. They had a vegetarian option which one had and the other had the meat option. It was presented in a elegant way with great service. We were only sorry that we had not booked for more days. We definitely will be back.

The hotel location was a walking distance of less than 10 minutes to the main train station in Zurich. The room was small but overall comfortable as we have booked a room for 3 person. Modern updated accommodations on the northern fringe of Zurich. It made for a nice, affordable stay within reach of what we came to this part of Switzerland to do. The first time I have been to the city while not on business and happy to report that the city has a lot to offer. The overall challenge with Switzerland is prices exceed what they should be. Drive an hour and a half north, south or west and prices drop by half for just about everything. It is what it is and just know and accept this. What I really liked about the hotel. 1. The decor, look and feel. Exudes class, without opulence. 2. Close to other shopping and transport links 3. The customer service was kind and helpful even with bloopers made along the way. They owned their mistakes and made it right. This is huge in my book-- well done. 4. Breakfast was very good 5. Outside terrace a respite from the one hot day we had. 6. Bed was comfortable 7. Ritual soaps in the bathroom. What I did not like: 1. Parking was 19 CHF per night 2. There was a blooper at check in (giving them credit, they made it right) What they should consider: 1. Add USB plugs at the night stand area 2. Maybe consider how to encorporate ”swiss'ness” into the stay (Lindt chocolate on the pillow, or something to that effect...) Overall: Good hotel, competitive price point with good customer service.

At first you might worry about passing through a min supermarket to enter the hotel but it was not a problem . It was also good idea because anything you needed was right there or a fairly reasonably priced eatery next door. For the price I paid compared to other EU countries it's worth less than half the price but it's Zurich so everything is expensive. The location is excellent easy it's easy walk to the train station. I would stay here aging if the price was much lower. Remember the are no elevator so you must log your suitcase up many flights of stairs.

A great boutique hotel in old town Zurich. 6 minute walk from Zurich HB train station after our flight into Zurich. Front desk staff Sam was extremely helpful and very polite, spoke English very well. Very clean hotel completely updated and this location is AAA for restaurants and bars, and is also quiet for a great nights sleep. Breakfast was ample to start our day. Coffee was great and a good selection of meats, cheeses, cereal and juice. The chocolate fondue machine at the entrance was really neat!

The Ambassador is a newly renovated hotel just off the lake in Zurich. Old town and shopping just minutes away. Train station and tour busses a 30-minute walk Staff was very friendly and the room was very comfortable and clean. WiFi didn't work but got a passcode for the business WiFi instead. Television also had some issues (kept rebooting). But, we chalk that up to a new place. Everything else was great!

We stayed in both the main hotel and in the guesthouse across the alley and were quite satisfied if both facilities knowing they been renovated within the last year. The main hotel is right around the corner from Zürich HB the rooms feature a nice private bath (new, big & clean) and nice modern styling. The guesthouse as new and stylish as hotels go, but the modular bath/shower unit with its semi-transparent blue glass leaves a lot to be desired when everyone in the room knows what your doing on toilet (very little privacy). We luckily are prepared and carry large binder clips and clipped a bath towel across the glass during our stay. The staff are amazing and extremely cordial. Free coffee/tea is offered 24/7 in the main hotel and on each floor. Guest house residents must go back across the alley to the main lobby. Day tour buses are right across the street for easy access. We would stay again definitely.

The hotel is in a great walking location to shopping, food, main train station and transportation. Grocery store near by and breakfast was exceptional. Staff was friendly, however we had some questions about the Zurich pass and they were unaware. Photos are exactly what the room looks like. The weather was good while we were there so air condition wasn’t a necessity but I did have it on when the room was stuffy and it worked well. I would have kept the windows open but you can hear loud exhaust cars passing through all night. When the windows were closed it wasn’t a problem. We checked in early as our plane landed early in the morning and they were able to accomadate us. Since we were able to show our luggage we had the rest of the day to explore the city. Upon checkin our room had a complimentary bottle of sparkling water, fruits, chocolate and a personalized note which was a great touch. Overall the hotel was in a prime location, comfortable bed and good breakfast. Would definitely stay again.

Cozy hotel conveniently located in old town Zurich. We stayed here for 4 nights in May and had reserved 2 rooms for 3 adults. We got rooms on the first floor conveniently close to each other and we're decent size for the location. Rates are a bit pricey like other hotels in Zurich but the amenities of the property, location and most importantly the hotel staff make the choice value for money. Located nearby all attractions, transportation and restaurants there's plenty of choice. The breakfast spread is amazing and a great start to the day. Excellent breads, cereals, salmon, meats and eggs cooked to order. Coffee machine. The staff are very helpful don't hesitate asking for local recommendations that one wouldn't otherwise be aware of. We enjoyed our stay immensely. Would highly recommend.

I would rate this hotel average . . . not bad, not great, but average. Staff is helpful and the area is totally safe, not far from public transportation. I did find the rooms to be very stuffy and warm despite their having advertised that air conditioning was available. Fortunately, the windows could be opened and it cooled off at night so I was able to get some sleep with that and a borrowed fan. My rate didn't include breakfast so I can't comment on the food. Room keys are unique, big heavy ones that are designed to be left at the front desk when you leave the hotel, apparently. I was fine with that, one less thing to hold onto during my travels around town (photo below).

A very chic hotel i must say. However, the rooms are extremely small! Unable to open 2 big luggage at the same time! We were a couple of mid size and we find it small, if you are bigger build, you may find it claustrophobic! but the bed was super comfy! though small rooms, they design of the room ensured that space was efficiently maximized and plugs are places at strategic locations convenient to travelers. Rooms were very clean tho.

The room is not big, but the sanitation is OK. It is two or three kilometers away from the old city. It is not far from walking around. There was no air conditioning in the room and it was a bit stuffy to close the window. Opposite a very large COOP supermarket, it is convenient to buy 啥. Breakfast is 9.9 Swiss francs, children are free, full is OK. Mainly this price is really not available in Switzerland. The overall is still worth recommending.

Cute boutique hotel located in the heart of old town. Walking distance to most of the major attractions. The size of the room is small, as expected in Europe, but the staff is friendly and accommodating to my requests (helped me with slightly earlier check in and arranging taxi to the main train station). I would stay here again.

Had a fantastic, albeit brief stay at the end of June 2023. Adler is centrally located in the historic heart of the city, but the double glazed windows block out any outside noise. I’m a super light sleeper, and we stayed on a Friday night, but didn’t hear a peep. That said: The room itself was tiny, but the view overlooking the square was charming. Very much a “what more do you need?” kind of vibe. The bed was very firm, and the pillows were very soft. For me, this is the opposite of my preference, but that’s personal, and I won’t fault the hotel. Elevator went out of order the morning of our departure, but they offered to carry our luggage down the stairs. This was definitely appreciated, as we were on the fourth floor. Also, I left my wedding ring on the nightstand, and upon realizing this, I called them: They offered to check, and called me back promptly to let me know they found it. No need to follow up, chase them down, bug them, etc. This was a great way to close the out transaction, and it left a very positive impression. I’d definitely stay again, thanks to the attitude of the staff.

It comes with great value. Excellent location which is near to the train station and bus station. Very convenience to go to the city center for shopping or other tourist attraction. Breakfast is good. There is a big supermarket called Coop next door. The room is spacious with high ceiling. Staff look a bit cool but they r quite helpful. What a comfortable and pleasant stay!
