The location was awesome, could walk to the library, quake city, Canterbury museum and many other places easily without having to drive! Parking was charged at $10/day within the premises. Room was pretty good sized for us a couples and it was a fully equipped kitchen with pots and pans, cups, cutlery and all you need. It has a microwave as well to note :) a very pleasant stay! Don’t mind the messy bed we had ☺️

Supposed to stay here for 2 nights but due to flight cancellation, only managed to stay for 1 night. Super wasted as I think this accomodation is really good. There are Induction for cooking, washing machine and dryer with laundry liquid available. The bed is super big too. Quite comfortable. The space is also very big! Location is near to many food places.

The family of four people is suitable for the top floor suite. The living room is large and there is a balcony. Each room has a bathroom to ensure your personal privacy. There is an open kitchen in the living room, and there is no problem in burning Chinese food. The living room is floor-to-ceiling glass, which feels very transparent inside. I lived in Auckland a long time ago, but South Island landed for the first time this time. Speaking of Christchurch, there is only B & B! And the hotel and apartment are ignored and decided here. It was a really nice building as we looked at. All the interiors and the courtyard are cute. The rooms are small but clean and comfortable. Excited with a 4-year-old daughter and mother! The breakfast was delicious too. The bathroom is also elaborately decorated, but one difficulty. It was a bit of a unique floor plan, and the shower water flowed to the cupboards and toilets. The drainage of the drain is not bad, but it is probably due to the floor plan. Later, I'm full of family, so everyone is always busy and I don't want to catch anything. When I first arrived, nobody came out even if I pushed the bell, and when I was in trouble, a customer who went out happened to open the door and put it inside (lol) It was exactly the same when other guests came, just the entrance We stayed in the room next to us and opened the door (laughs) The owner family feels good, but it seems to be busy all day. I thought this price was a bit expensive for B & B per night, but I was satisfied. Finally, the security aspect is subtle. Christchurch is safe and should be fine, but if you are worried about it, we recommend a hotel.

The Redwood Hotel was in a perfect location for me in Christchurch. I was here for personal reasons in that part of town (not siteseeing). The Reception team were very accommodating to my late arrival & communicated clearly about the lock box & room number. Even had a backup scenario on the chance that I didn’t receive their earlier email. Thank you. They also left a light and heater on in the room to make it more comfortable when I arrived. I was able park right outside my unit (free) and managed to get a takeout meal in the attached restaurant 20 mins before the it closed for the night. Very tasty & generous portions.

Apartment type. I was not in the main building with the front desk in the East Tower. Move to the opposite side of the drum track from the front. You can cook your own meals in the room and do laundry. I had salt and pepper on the shelf and only two bags of detergent, so I bought some meat at the supermarket and grilled it, and I put my accumulated underwear in the drum-type washing machine, which also had a drying function, so I washed it. The room is very spacious and comfortable. It was nice because it was clean, but the only thing that bothered me a little was the sound of water in the bathroom, but as long as I closed the door, it wasn't a problem. There is also a balcony.
