Superb location, 5 mins walk away from Chiayi train station. A very good base hotel for Alishan travellers. Allows free luggage storage for guests heading up to Alishan. The hotel staff are friendly and helpful and even allow breakfast to take away. The family room is huge and has plenty of space for luggage. Tons of food near the hotel and party world karaoke too!

The space is large enough and the location is very convenient, opposite the Taiwan Railway Station. The turkey rice downstairs is also delicious. The waiter only comes to work at 3 pm, and can add a line to self-service luggage storage, and also helps to store luggage, which is convenient for us to go to Alishan for one night and then pick up the luggage. There is also a snack bar where we can eat, which is good, but the price is too expensive during the New Year period.

The hotels in Chiayi were quite expensive and this hotel was very decently priced for the standard. The room was big, clean, and comfortable. The hotel itself was surprisingly nice. Breakfast was functional, and the staff were friendly. Right across from the train station. Close to eating places and walkable to the night market. Absolutely no complaints.

Service - Well it’s a lot “do it yourself”. They don’t really speak English, but also when passing by they don’t say hello or good night or something like that. However, you need to take off your shoes when entering. They provide slippers if you don’t have your own. Furthermore, we were sitting in the lobby and eating a small piece of bread (one of those things you can get at 7-eleven) and drinking water, where they have tables and chairs. We were waiting for our train. The lady behind the desk came to us and told us we couldn’t eat there. We thought that this was ridiculous. Especially because it was something small and we of course would throw our trash away. Rooms - spacious due to the “high sleeper”. We were in a family room. Cleanliness - clean. Amenities - none not even towels! You need to rent them 10NT$ per towel. That’s not usual when staying in a private room. Breakfast - we didn’t try it, maar they offer it. Location - very close to the train station (not the high speed station). Less than 5 minutes walk. Price - very affordable. We would still recommend it, but just keep the above things in mind.

First I was supposed to give 2 stars because when we arrive at hotel, they only accept cash in twd dollar as we thought already paid via online. So, it caused us to paid more compared to online as the exchange rate. We dunno why they wanted us paid first via online and then refund to us after the day check out. This will make the process too complicated. This hotel was so traditional even no online payment & maybe doesn't have debit card too? Honestly, the hotel was really nice looking & clean as the pic shown. The toilet look good but the bathroom door was so so old and rushed cannot close. The bed was strangely & weirdly comfortable but it sounds of spring so so noisy when we moving around the bed. This must be changed because senior or someone not comfortable with hard bed should not booking this hotel!!! The aircon work well but at night it automatically closed down. Maybe save electricity or something as thought we didn't set anything?? This hotel provided buffet at morning (6.30 - 8.30am) such as toast, rice and porridge. It so nice since this hotel was budgeted compared to other which more expensive. However, we dunno why they set the time so earlier in the morning should be until 11 am or 12 pm. Who will wake up in that time?? Maybe people cannot sleep that time or something else. I 100 % sure that the foods will be leftover. The service was well...ok nothing to comments. The overall still budgeted hotel & the location from train station was so near, the Wen Hua night market was so near about 800 meter. We still NOT STRATIFICATION with this hotel !!!!

I wanted to book a hotel, but I thought that there would be tenants smoking in the room. I changed Anlanju. There are always fewer rooms and the management will be in place. Anlanju is in a good location. The train station is just a few minutes walk away. The reservation process is smooth, but it is too popular. After booking for one day, I want to stay in the target room for another day. I booked it for people. It was good to do an ”upgrade”. There were Japanese Singapore Italians on the day of check-in, wow. The reception staff was warm and courteous, and the room size was just right. The shower room was a little small. In addition, I don’t need to help the guests change the toothbrush for two days. By the way, the toothbrush will shed hair in Yangchun, but their toothbrushes have the same situation in other homestays. It just happened to meet two cooking and sharing food activities. It was quite special.

The location is very new Chiayi Railway Station though we were not able to use the station since we use HSR. Front desk staff made a mistake during check in by mixing up the amount so he called me up to inform me that I need to pay for the short amount he billed me. When we returned to the hotel after dinner, I settled the matter with him. It shows how they work Breakfast was okay but not spectacular. .

The staff are SUPER nice and friendly. My family and i felt very welcomed here. They allowed us to store our luggage before check-in and gave tips on where to go. The room (we booked for 3 of us) was decent and had amenities like disposable toothbrush toothpaste, comb, soaps, shampoo and shaver. There was a hairdryer that was really weak 😂 but enough hangers for us to put up our clothes and a tv with a couple of channels. We stayed on level 7 (accessible by lift) which was quiet, didn't hear the road outside at all, other tourists were also quiet and people were respectful. Breakfast was included in our stay, a relatively decent meal, there were toasts with different spreads, chinese noodles, veggies, meat, plain buns and porridge. Coffee, orange juice and chrysanthemum tea. Fruits were watermelon and oranges. Highlight of our stay was a 7.4magnitude earthquake while we were having breakfast. The whole place was shaking and staff were alert and quick to guide everyone out of the restaurant. One male staff member even quickly responded to make sure guests didn't run under the chandelier in the lobby. Thank goodness everyone was safe, nothing was damaged in the hotel at all. After being shaken up (both physically and mentally), we quickly checked out, and whilst in the room, another 6.4mag tremor hit. Scared us silly again but thankfully, everyone was safe, nothing was destroyed. Staff were very reassuring and empathetic (towards us who have never experienced quakes). All in all a great fuss free stay. Convenient location to get to the train station where you can get buses to Alishan or train to Alishan. Would stay here again if i had the chance!

The bed is soft and hard, and comfortable. There is an iron shelf in the room that is easy to hit and needs special care. The front desk is inconsistent when answering questions, for example: Can you borrow an umbrella? The waitress said no. The waiter said that he could but pay the deposit. I hope that I can improve my answer in the future and put anti-collision strips on the iron frame.

The first time I went to Chiayi, it happened to be the New Year’s Eve stay. The hotel looks cozy and comfortable. The rooms are quite spacious and clean. Schick und modern renovierte Hotels in alten Gebäuden haben immer ein besonderes Flair. Die Zimmer sind in grau, schwarz und weiß gehalten, moderne Badezimmer, nichts Sensationelles, aber man fühlt sich wohl. Die Lage des Hotels direkt an der Kathedrale hat natürlich Vor- und Nachteile. Zum einen ist man direkt im Herzen von Haarlem, zum anderen kann es schon mal abends auf der Straße lauter werden, wenn auch die Fenster sehr gut isoliert sind. (Es gibt aber auch Zimmer zur ruhigen Rückseite.) Und, wenn man mit dem Auto anreist, muss man entweder in das direkt um die Ecke liegende Parkhaus (26€/Nacht) oder am Ortsrand parken. Ein Plus sind auch die beiden exzellenten Restaurants im Haus: das Sterne-Restaurant sowie das Bistro mit Terrasse. Das Personal ist ausgesprochen freundlich. Die Zimmer-Preise sind angemessen.

My husband and I were eating and playing along the way from Taipei to the south. Since this was the first time I chose to stay in Chiayi, I was very nervous. I was afraid that I would stay in an unclean hotel or restaurant. I searched for a long time at first and finally chose 2 hotels. After reading many reviews, I decided to choose ”Yongyue”! When we arrived outside the hotel, the hotel staff responsible for directing the parking immediately came out to direct the way (parking lot). Even when my husband carelessly thought that his ID was missing before checking in, the staff also helped to find it. This is really Very touching 👍. The staff at the check-in counter were also very kind and courteous. This time I stayed on the 10th floor. Although I chose a windowless room, I was very surprised when I entered the room. The room was quite big, with a bed, table and The toilets are also very clean, even my husband praised them frequently after seeing them! 😄 Of course, there are quite a lot of breakfast options provided by the hotel, which is also surprising! Although I only stayed for one night, it will be the beginning of a journey. Chiayi will be a new landmark in my journey, and ”Yongyue” will be my first choice for accommodation!

因社團群推薦，我們買了好幾張住宿券，因快到期了，要趕快用掉，而這次是第二次入住，分享一下兩次入住的感受… 第一次（2020年4月）～連住2晚親子房 1.廁所垃圾桶沒清，底層留了幾張衛生紙迎接我們入住！ 2.第二天外出回房，補的備品，沒有依SOP整齊擺放在浴室洗手台上，而是混一整袋隨便的丟在房間桌上。 3.我當下沒有直接反應，但退房時有特別跟櫃臺提，櫃臺反應超級冷漠，一聲歉意也沒有，可能以為我都要退房了，過客沒什麼好理的，加上整房是房務的事吧！但房間整理不好、服務不好，是飯店整體問題！ 第二次為耗住宿券，必須連住三晚 1. Check in櫃台員很冷漠，基本禮貌也沒有，我們離櫃臺一步距離，有好幾人在櫃臺裡，我們正看要找那一組辦，這些人一句詢問也沒有，像雕像一樣直直盯著你，縱使靠近，也一句話不吭，像沒溫度的機器一樣幫你制式的辦入住（建議飯店找AI或許比這些像機器的人類好）！ 2.房內的頻道表沒更新，櫃臺連電視頻道那幾台有或沒有也不清楚，小孩想看momo親子，頻道跳掉，跟櫃臺反應，態度很不耐的跟我說，我們現在全部都很忙，等有空再處理，問她們大約要等多久？更不耐回你，有空就處理，電話就掛了，我PM6:15入房就問，到我們睡前還沒處理，真是藐視客人！ 3.房間裡的馬克杯很髒就算了，有一組泡茶杯組，更是噁心，一層厚厚白色粉末的“霉”，應該是“年”以上沒洗過！ 4.今天第一晚入住四人房，安排在A棟6樓，隔音超級差，凡有人走過、跑過、講話聲，全都聽的到，好多次我以為房門沒關，走過去確認！更誇張是隔壁按門鈴聲音大到像按我們這間的門鈴。 5.今天唯一感覺好一點的是，晚上訂富胖達，店家沒給餐具，櫃臺有免洗筷跟湯匙可提供，這點還正常（其實很多飯店都有提供餐具的服務，至少這點他們也有） 第二～三晚，我們加價換親子房，還不知會發生什麼事。

I thought I could just rest and sleep, but I was surprised when I entered the room. The four-person room was large and the bathroom was very clean. Would stay again and recommend to others when visiting the area! Really nice to provide a little birthday gift of lotion, facial wash and conditioner for my mum. Loved their orange scent used in hand-wash. Location was superb with many food options and convenience stores nearby plus walkable distance to WenHua Night Market. Aircon was strong, bedding was comfortable and loved the hot tub! Only negative was sometimes room cleaning wasn't done thoroughly as cups was unwashed and lift and lobby sometimes had an unpleasant smell. There was tea and snack available at lobby on the first day but never seen again on my four nights after.

The staff are SUPER nice and friendly. My family and i felt very welcomed here. They allowed us to store our luggage before check-in and gave tips on where to go. The room (we booked for 3 of us) was decent and had amenities like disposable toothbrush toothpaste, comb, soaps, shampoo and shaver. There was a hairdryer that was really weak 😂 but enough hangers for us to put up our clothes and a tv with a couple of channels. We stayed on level 7 (accessible by lift) which was quiet, didn't hear the road outside at all, other tourists were also quiet and people were respectful. Breakfast was included in our stay, a relatively decent meal, there were toasts with different spreads, chinese noodles, veggies, meat, plain buns and porridge. Coffee, orange juice and chrysanthemum tea. Fruits were watermelon and oranges. Highlight of our stay was a 7.4magnitude earthquake while we were having breakfast. The whole place was shaking and staff were alert and quick to guide everyone out of the restaurant. One male staff member even quickly responded to make sure guests didn't run under the chandelier in the lobby. Thank goodness everyone was safe, nothing was damaged in the hotel at all. After being shaken up (both physically and mentally), we quickly checked out, and whilst in the room, another 6.4mag tremor hit. Scared us silly again but thankfully, everyone was safe, nothing was destroyed. Staff were very reassuring and empathetic (towards us who have never experienced quakes). All in all a great fuss free stay. Convenient location to get to the train station where you can get buses to Alishan or train to Alishan. Would stay here again if i had the chance!
