The hotel is in a good location. The hotel has a long history, so the facilities are generally old. Because 70% of it is the residence of the elderly, only 30% of the rooms are open to the public. The overall service is very thoughtful. It is not recommended for couples or family travel. The architectural style is more European, unlike new hotels, which are more generous. The minibar is full of the cheapest things and is charged for except water. Although it is clean, it looks very old overall. The toiletries are from London's molton. The breakfast downstairs is the oldest Cipriani creation point, which is very good. Overall, I feel that if you are over 60 years old and like the quietness of a bustling city, choose this place. Because I didn't see many reviews, I happened to live here and came to explore. I don't recommend staying here unless there is really no other hotel to go.

The hotel known as the old money style is magnificent, and most of the porters and waiters are white, which is probably a sign of the hotel's status. The room is quite big, especially the bathroom. The coffee machine, kettle, and drinking water need to be ordered, and you have to pay for coffee capsules. What is not commensurate with the status of a five-star hotel is that the quilt does not need a quilt cover, but is wrapped up and down with two sheets. When you sleep and turn over, the quilt core is exposed. It is disgusting to think about it, and the hotel reacted, they actually said they only have this Ways to wrap the quilt. My deep feeling is that this hotel is good for having afternoon tea and taking pictures. The accommodation experience is very ordinary. After all, there are too many good hotels in New York!

The hotel offered free luggage storage, which was great as we arrived around 10 am. The bar closed at 11 inside the hotel & didn't serve food. :( Elevator took a while to get on since there were only 2, and they always seemed busy. It wasn't too noisy - especially for New York. Great location - Carnegie Diner was just two blocks away. Also close to Seraphina, Ellen's Stardust Diner & Times Square.

The front desk service attitude is good. The guy at the door is enthusiastic and proactive. The location is good. The Metropolitan Museum is across Central Park. Booked the W because I’m familiar with the brand and it was a good price for the space! My sister and brother ended up staying with myself and my husband - and everyone had more than enough room. It was perfect location, just steps from Times Square and in the middle of all the NYC sights☺️ Views from the 47th floor were insane- my only recommendation to the hotel would be to wash the windows as they were super smudgy. I was only able to take this attached pic when I opened the window a crack. When we are in NYC again, we’ll book the W without a doubt!

I love Arlo. I stay at Arlo pretty often. But this time was off. I came back to my room in the evening, they cleaned it, but they didn’t take out the trash from the terrace and it started the rain. And I didn’t have coffee capsules (pods) at all. I called to reception and girl was like oh do you have a coffee machine in your room I was like yes I do. And a guy came at 11pm and was cleaning the terrace.
