The hotel is located in the old town of Hanoi, very close to Hoan Kiem Lake and 36 Street, and 1~ 2 kilometers away from the surrounding attractions. Although the hotel is small and looks inconspicuous, it is very clean. The front desk staff is very good. When I couldn't buy a water puppet show ticket, the female sister at the front desk took me on a motorcycle to buy a ticket, thank you very much. I will come back to Hanoi next time.

Staff was helpful. Location was good. But hotel was just next to a night pub and beer street where they played loud music until 2am and beyond. The music can be heard from the room as I'm staying at level 2 of the hotel. Not sure about higher floors.

Excellent location and excellent support from the staff both before and during our stay. The hotel is situated right in the centre of the old quarter and very convenient for all of the main tourist attractions. The rooms are spacious and clean - lovely shower. Wide choice of food available for breakfast. A big shout out to Miss Luong and Miss Kay. They helped us with all of our travel needs and provided great advice and support. Fully recommend this hotel.

Stayed here for a bussines trip but still, I got the chance to really enjoy my stay. The hotel is like brand new and is located at a perfect spot where I could explore all of the Old Quarter. And the staffs were amazing too, especially Stella. She helped us a lot, took lots of her time try to answered all of my silly questions, and made my boring breakfast more enjoyable. Just can't thank her enough. Overall, this hotel is where you should stay if you want to feel what it's like being in the heart of the Old Quarter. I will comeback soon.

The Cosy Inn Hanoi Hotel Google review summary 5.0 22 reviews 5 ★ 4 ★ 3 ★ 2 ★ 1 ★ Reviews on other travel sites Trip.com 4.5/5 · 45 reviews Reviews Search reviews From the phone conversation with Rosie to book an airport pick-up to checkout, my experience was stellar. The team, John, Rosie, Tracy, Cloudy, Leo, the cook and housekeeper made me feel so welcomed. This little establishment is great value for Hanoi. It is right smack in the old quarter steps within beer street and the night market. Just a few minutes leisurely walk and you'll reach Hoan Kiem Lake. The location is great but you still get peace and quiet as it's tucked into an alley away from all the noise. Finding it can be tricky, I suggest booking an airport transfer. Or, take a grab to May De Ville Premier Hotel which is right across it and just walk into the alley. My room was basic and small but I knew that. It was all I needed. Good shower, aircon and TV. It has a fridge and kettle. But really the draw is the amazing staff that run the show. John and Rosie spoke good English so communication is seamless. Tracy is still learning but kudos to her for the effort! You'll be fluent sooner than you think. Her English definitely beats my limited grasp of Vietnamese. Cloudy, social relations manager, 🤣whom I met briefly was also a delight to chat to. All in all, you can't go wrong staying here if you want good value. Thank you so much Cosy Inn Hanoi Team for your hospitality! Safiee

It was in the center of Hanoi and it was very busy just outside, but the room was very quiet and I was able to sleep soundly. Also, there was a guy who spoke Japanese and was very kind and gentle. Next time I come to Hanoi, I definitely want to stay here. And I would like to recommend it.

I stayed a few nights at the Hanoi Discovery and undoubtably the best selling point of this hotel is the location, right in the heart of the old town and a stones throw from Beer Street. It is located in a dark and gloomy, narrow dead end lane, which at first can be a little off putting, but after a day or two you get used to it and it does carry a sort of old world charm. Anyway, you get what you pay for and at under $USD20 I cannot really complain. The rooms are dated and basic and a little on the dark and gloomy side. They are a good size though and have a little work station where you can set up a laptop etc. Plenty of cupboard space and two bed side tables, both sides with power points. Small fridge and kettle provided but you will have to purchase your own water, tea, coffee etc. The bathroom has a shower hose (good pressure and hot), standard western toilet and sink. Getting the shampoo/soap out of the dispensers was nigh on impossible so I ended up buying my own. A hair dryer is provided. The noise from outside is quite noticeable up until about 1am, I am a heavy sleeper so was never a problem for me. The WIFI in the hotel was not brilliant but ok, occasionally becoming unstable. The young man (his English is limited) working the front desk in the evenings sleeps on the reception sofa during the night and will get up to open the door for you if you have a late night out. During the day there is a lady on reception (speaks very good English) who is very helpful in offering advice and organising tours. During my stay there were numerous power disruptions but they eventually sorted them out and the last couple of days were trouble free. I booked through Agoda and the hotel is listed as having an elevator. There is NO elevator so if this is important to you then please take note! Would I stay here again? Yes, the good points out weigh the bad and at the price point paid it represented reasonably good value.

Location is good and staff are friendly but the owner just doesn't understand about proper cleanliness. I get it's hard to properly clean all 20 or so rooms you have but you are not doing the bare minimum. I've been here on two seperate occasions and both times I found uneaten food from the previous guests that encourages ants, bugs and mice. Clean the room properly please.

My room didn’t have a bath tub that was requested. the room is very small. Dont have window even they note that room has internal window but it is just a big glass facing the dark wall. The advertising is wrong. there wasn’t enough hot water to full even a quarter of the tub. Worst happened when my laundry came back stained in blue staines. I was promised they will fix it and the fix was an absolute nightmare. They bleached my black ombré top and then tried to cover up bleach stains with black ball point pen. When I went to complain the manager suddenly disappeared and stopped coming to work. It took a lot to find someone in charge. The whole stay was a filthy nightmare. The what meant to be a 4 star hotel is dirty, stained and uncared for.

I think it is a family composition of Vietnamese wife, Chinese husband, and two children there. It is a pretty private inn because it is close to the space and the distance that you live in. My wife can't speak English, but she was very kind and answered every question through the translation function and told me what was nearby. My husband was also very humble and polite, and he was very kind. It is definitely the most hospitality motel I have ever stayed at. The room is a stationary air conditioner and two fans, which keeps the temperature just right, not too hot or too cold. It may be difficult to find the location because the gate is closed, but if you press the intercom of the house with ”96”, someone may come out.

I hate to have to write anything negative about our trip but this experience dampened what was one of the most awesome few days in the most charming and beautiful Hanoi. Honestly, the only thing Central Park Hotel really has going for it is its location, but for the price, I would recommend you spend a little more for your own health. When we arrived there was a power outage in the area and whilst I understand this is out of the hotel’s control, no effort in terms of lighting was done to even light the dark, long entranceway, stairs and reception area. The one staff we met was nice enough but after handing us the keys, interactions were kept to a minimal(possibly because of limited English) but no assistance or alternative options were offered regarding our luggage and walking up the dark spiral stairs to the 6th/top floor. The room was spacious and had good natural light but it only highlighted the peeling wall paper and where I really draw the line - moisture mould (black spots and water marks) all over the ceiling. This also made the room smell of the same. It really is not safe and acceptable to pay whatever amount only to be inhaling all of that mouldy air. While we were ready to walk out from that time, we really only booked this room for a safe place to store our bags for the 10 hours before our midnight flight. We didn’t want to be caught up in complaints and discussions with the one staff running the place, so we ended up maximising a spa afternoon and coming back only to gather our things and check out. Do yourself a favour, either pay a little more for a clean and safe place, or otherwise please check your room doesn’t have this mould before agreeing to your stay. Health first!!

Our group of 6 stayed 3 nights at peridot. We had some hiccups which was of no fault by the hotel..( like losing one luggage from our group from our cruise, and tour operator etc). The hotel went above and beyond to help us resolve our problems. Special thanks to Plum, who was so nice and friendly and was so professional and efficient to resolve issues for us. Hotel has plenty of restaurants and street food everywhere and is very near the lake. Beautiful pool and sky bar too.Everyone was very friendly and helpful, from the bellboys to the front desk staff. They even gifted my mom who has a bad knee a herbal compress from the spa. Small details and kind gestures made our stay here so special. 5 stars to the peridot team!

The hotel was clean and well appointed in that it had toiletries and towels and nice sheets but it was shabby by 4 star standards despite the nice rooms. We felt it was a 3 star overall. The grouting was dirty, the bath creaked terribly and there was no evening meal service, pool or even room service (despite a hotel guide in the room saying there was!). The shower was ok but not more than like a domestic wall shower. We had three pillows over the one single and one double in the room and the pillows were flat. We ate at the hotel on the street but it was all frog, squab and other peculiar meats, even by Vietnam standards. No veggie options in the streets around so for more digestible food walk a few streets. There is a safe in the room and good WiFi. Breakfast service was over full and chaotic. The fruit juices were from concentrate (I saw her refilling). So it was ok but isn’t a destination. The location was ok for central Hanoi but not great if you can’t walk easily. The breakfast was ok but certainly not as good as others we have stayed in. The room cleaning was very good and the hotel felt safe. I think we would have been more pleased if we hadn’t had better in Siagon, Hue and Hoi An. The air con was good but switches off after a while.

A great hotel in the Old Quarter and very convenient for sightseeing in Hanoi. Situated near beautiful Hoan Kiem Lake and its lovely gardens, trees and temples. Very reasonable rates- value for money. The rooms are comfortable, clean and air-conditioned. Clean towels and water ere delivered daily. The breakfast buffet was good and you could also order from the breakfast menu so there was lots of choice. The staff make this hotel. David the manager is very welcoming and extremely helpful as is his staff, particularly Henry and Ian. Nothing was too much trouble. David booked our sightseeing trips to Ninh Binh, Halong Bay and Sapa for us - all were excellent and at very good prices. Pick ups from the hotel were organized by the staff so that made organising transoport easy. The hotel has Vietnam SIM cards for your mobile, and they also provide a currency exchange. We couldn't have been happier as it made organization easy and we had a smooth, trouble free, comfortable and a very happy stay at the Rising Dragon Legend Hotel. Thank you David, Henry, Ian and the rest of the staff. We'll return. Peter and Vicki, Australia.

The staff in this hotel were excellent! From welcoming us with some welcome drinks and fruit, to politely going through our booking details with us (as there was a mix up about payment) and even looking after our bags for a night (as we spent one evening in a village a little way out from Hanoi and returned to the hotel the day after). Of course the rooms, cleanliness and breakfast were also fantastic - and the only reason for rating the location as a 4 is owing to the fact that as it is centrally located in the Old Town, it can get quite noisy at night. In fairness, the hotel accomodated this by ensuring guests were placed in rooms further away from the noisy street (and with double windows), but it is something to bear in mind. We didnt mind of course - you cant expect to be in the midst of it all, and at the same time expect pure silence!

Tony, Chuong, Annie really went the extra mile to make my stay perfect. Tony was very proactive always inquiring if everything is ok and making suggestions, if better options were available, that I did not think of. Chuong helped me restoring my by mistake deleted pictures from the cameras SD card once I came back from SaPa - thank you so much! Without you I would have not been able to use the camera - or I‘d have to buy a new SD card. Annie was great in explaining the differences in the tours, asking what I expect and was also very honest when telling me that the 6 hour tour is the standard one day tour everyone takes and is hence a little more crowded. The location of the hotel is a 5 minute walk to the Hoan Kiem Lake and the Opera (there is the money exchange offering great rates - Quoc Trinh Gold Shop - right around the corner) as well as to the train street. The train station, if you‘re going to SaPa by train is approximately a 15 minutes walk. The rooms (as I stayed there twice, I got to use two different rooms) are very clean, cleaned daily and have really comfortable beds. Really loved staying there and will be for sure staying there again, if coming back to Hanoi.

I recently stayed here, and I must say, the location was excellent - close to all the sights and sounds of the city. The staff were incredibly friendly and always ready to assist with a bright smile - shout out to Julia, Kevin, and Tom. However, I did notice that the room I was in needed some deep cleaning to freshen it up. Poor sound proofing and can literally hear chitchats from the lobby. Despite this small setback, my overall experience was pleasant, and I appreciated the warm hospitality of the hotel staff. P.S. Pros: The staff was extremely kind and accommodating and willing to help with any and everything if mentioned to them. It’s a fab location with Hoan Kiem lake well within walking distance, yet not right in the middle of the hectic old quarter so it’s possible to get a good night’s sleep (our room didn’t have a window, so unsure if this is true for rooms with window). Beds were changed every day and also clean towels daily however other amenities like toilet paper, shampoo, bodywash etc weren’t topped up during our stay. Cons: We arrived after the advertised check in time and our room wasn’t ready which wasn’t ideal after 17 hours of flights, however also understandable that sometimes other guests check out late. I think because of this they rushed to get the room ready which meant it wasn’t completely clean e.g hair on the floor, fingerprints on the mirrors/glass. Our TV didn’t work, the wifi was very slow during our stay, and the shower ran cold for the first 2 days which to be fair was fine considering how hot it was. Booking.com still states that breakfast is available here but nothing was mentioned to us about breakfast, and it’s worth noting that the photos used by the property definitely aren’t accurate. The property is nice, but not like the photos. Our room was windowless which I cant remember whether this was mentioned when booking. We didn’t complain as we 1) were very tired from the travelling, and 2) felt that it was a case of you get what you pay for (budget room/hotel). However I felt considering the high score the property has on booking.com and on here, it was important to leave a more accurate image of the property. Overall I would recommend for budget travellers, but keep in mind that you get what you pay for

I stayed in Hanoi for a few days at this Brilliant Hotel and Spa, it was incredible! The location is perfect; it's right in the middle of the old town, it is convenient to get anywhere in the city and I was at the heart of everything I wanted to see. I had family staying across the street in another hotel, and while theirs was more expensive, the Brilliant Hotel was much better. The service from the lobbyists was friendly, helpful, and insightful -- not at all looking to scam or take money from me (unlike other locations I visited during my trip, or even from my family's experience). They immediately offered me a physical map of great places to travel in the area, and communicated with me in a personal and friendly manner. I told them what I was interested in seeing, they helped highlight it on the map. Google maps isn't the best option in Vietnam, and having a physical map actually helped 'save' me from being lost more than once on my trip. I thought that was the end of that, but at night they left a personal card on my door, always remembered my name as I walked in and out, and even remembered where I went and what I said about it, making conversation whenever I wanted, even at breakfast! The breakfast was quite good, besides the normal food they can cook you omelets, pho, pancakes, etc. The service here is unlike anywhere else I've stayed, the lobbyists Fiona and Lucy in particular were extremely friendly, approachable, understanding, and helpful. 10/10 I recommend this hotel, and I definitely will be going back here when I travel through Hanoi again!

Check in was really easy with self check in. Landlord provided proper guidance for that. Apartment was spot on. It contained all the amenities for a comfortable stay. It’s in a central location surrounding malls, supermarkets and restaurants. It’s possible to get anything delivered via grab too. Apartment was on 22nd floor hence we had a great view of the city. It was such a cute little apartment with enough and more privacy. We had around 4 comfortable nights here. Highly recommended.

The first time I came to Hanoi to travel, I really feel very satisfied with the quality of this apartment. The room is spacious, clean and fully furnished with modern furniture. In particular, the room is beautifully decorated, the staff has a good attitude when serving. Quality matches the price. If I have a chance to come to Hanoi, I will continue to use the service here.
