The restaurant or housekeeping is perhaps understaffed - I am not sure since we had to remind through the front desk that the plates and cutlery needed clean up after the room service was ordered. The aesthetics of the hotel are excellent but some maintenance in form of facelift is perhaps due. The property boosts beautiful swimming pools and gentle soothing tropical traditional music offering a very warm welcoming feeling. The family room which we opted for is large and spacious with large 2 single beds, a large king bed and a nice private jacuzzi. The restaurant has a decent choice of western and asian breakfast options with decent choice for vegetarians too. The hotel had kept ready breakfast boxes upon our request for us at 5:30 am since we had an early morning flight to catch. We felt this is a good sign of hospitality which other bigger brand hotels should also follow in other destinations.

The team he has around is working all day on making everything clean and comfortable. If sheets are on the ground, sheets are wiped, mattresses are needed for the beds are adjusted at the minute. You have to ask, our villa was unwisely clean and was as expected, the shower is also good, your room is cleaned at your request, through a plate. The villa was close to the street but there are earphones available in the room, which makes us sleep nicely. My friend was the t**** evening that we stayed here for the anniversary and I wanted to surprise her. A app to Gus was enough, he knew what he was doing right away and within 10 minutes we were discussing a menu. As agreed, he provided a dinner at candlelight next to the swimming pool with breathtaking decoration. This was really over expectation. We were even served at the pool by a warning staff who also provided the menu/dining. In general, this accommodation is a thick adviser!

Everything was so clean and the service was amazing. Everyone was kind and helpful. The onsite restaurant had really good food and it was affordable. The location is perfect and is just next to the Outpost Coworking Space and not too far from the Tropical Nomad Coworking space (5 min. scooter ride). It is also close to a lot of restaurants and just in front of a small supermarket. In my opinion, the quality for the price is incredible. I would stay there again for sure.

|32.24km from city centerWe enjoyed our time in the Prana Mountain resort quite a lot and appreciate the hospitality and friendliness of the staff.
The garden and surrounding of the resort is remarkable in the middle of the nature and invites to take hikes in rice terraces or the rain forest far away from the typical tourist spots on Bali. The resort is build on old rice terrace and the garden is beautiful and natural. The pool with fresh water without chemicals is a nice highlight after a hike.
We stayed for three nights with the children and could get well along. The restaurant is also nice and serves good delicious food throughout the day.
A few things could be improved:
- the cleanliness in the rooms could be improved, also the bedding cleanliness
- the mosquito protection around the beds is getting old and could be replaced or repaired
- a hair dryer in the rooms would have been nice

We get our scooter, laundry and even massage under our bungalow here. Would recommend scooter rent for exploring Uluwatu area (Do not rent if you don’t have experience driving a scooter or you’re too scared of traffic!!!) There is lot of shops and restaurants near by. Highly recommended for your stay if you want to be silence and want to stay bungalow. Thank you for this amazing week with you guys!!

It’s a nice place but there are a few things I didn’t care about there I guess for the price it’s a bargain But at this time no restaurant open here I guess due to covid . Free coffee all the time and water availability down stairs. Shower is nice and hot , the AC cold and the bed is pretty comfortable. Is located in a residential area and has stairs and no elevator. 3 floors. For the price it’s clean and neat room to stay with a pool.

Pools and beach are excellent. We visited some other areas and the beaches were quite dirty and not pleasant at all, so we really appreciated how well maintained ours was.
Our only complaints (purely so they could improve that last %10) would be:
A few areas were quite dirty. Felt a bit like they think no one would look there, so why bother
The spa was very nice, especially the design, but felt quite rushed and not as attentive as it could be. We also arranged for the outdoor bath at the end of the massage, but it wasn't very pleasant due to the state of the bathtub itself.
Food is OK. Definitely in no way bad at all. But just OK.
Our room had an annoying door to link 2 rooms together, which is very outdated and quite annoying as there is basically an open hole between the rooms. Our neighbours were very noisy and we could hear everything including their screaming kids. You will also hear everything upstairs, including the house keeping carts going down the hallways. Not quite sure why, but it was definitely quite noisy unfortunately.
Overall though, a very very nice hotel and highly recommended. And again, the staff were amazing.

Bagus Beach Resort is definitely in this category. From the moment I stepped into the vast grounds resplendent with old Bali charm, I knew it was going to feel like home very quickly. I was immediately greeted by the resort manager, Pak Widi, who is extremely friendly and exceedingly knowledgeable about the region's attractions and history, as well as about Balinese culture. Make sure you spend some time talking to him, he's a really lovely guy! The resort itself perfectly captures the mood of North Bali tourism: peaceful, relaxed, slower-paced, it's a bit like stepping back in time to 20 years ago, when travelers stayed for about a month, learnt some Indonesian and Balinese, whiled away the days reading books and walking, and just growing to really love and respect the place. The room I stayed in couldn't have been cozier, and was spotlessly clean. The breakfast prepared by Pak Widi's beautiful wife, Ibu Jero Made, was absolutely delicious - she makes the island's best 'jaje Bali' - traditional sweets. She's extremely talented, and a very kind soul. Bali's tourism industry will be suffering from the impact of Covid-19 for a long time to come, and the more remote parts of the island especially so. If you want to really make your rupiah count, skip the south and head up to the north. You'll be rewarded in spectacular sunsets and grateful smiles for doing so! Thank you so much Pak Widi and Ibu Jero Made, sampai ketemu lagi!

|7.23km from city centerA mixed bag. On the plus side the bamboo construction and furniture in a huge room really give it a Bali feel - which you won't get from any of the modern hotels springing up. At the same time the proximity to (two!) pools, comfy living/bar area and laid back furniture really make you feel like you rented a villa not a hotel room. On the down side, they have largely lost their rice paddy views (massive construction in front), there are a lot of mosquitoes (even in the room) and the place is showing its age a bit. In particular (and contrary to other reviewers) I was disappointed with the food - pizza was horrible, Indonesian chicken curry was a watery soup and eggs benedict had no Hollandaise sauce and chewy bacon (though that is a Bali problem not specific to Bloomfields). To finish on a high note - this is a great location - easy reach of the short cut to Canggu, right in Umulas and a good base to strike out to Ubud etc.
