Not in a central city location, but the mall connected to the hotel is fantastic and… huge! You can practically shop and eat anything you want just in this one mall. The hotel itself has great breakfast spread. The service is top notch. Most important of all, the room is clean and comfortable.

The location is very convenient as it is just 5 mins walk to the MRT station and about 15 mins walk to shopping centre 1Utama which has major brands like Tommy Hilfiger, Hai Di Lao, H&M etc. The rooms are spacious and clean! I like that the room deco are up to date being one of the newest hotel in that district. Amenities are aplenty for families with younger kids. Saltwater infinity pool is beautiful (but need to do regular cleaning as there were moss inside the pool, that was the only downside of the amenities provided) The staffs have been friendly, efficient and guest oriented! I do hope they keep up the great level of service and maintenance of the hotel! I will definitely come back again for my next stay!

The owner woman is nice He cares and is kind Good location but a little hard to find I am renovating one room in my apartment. It feels old because it is an old apartment building. My wife & I stayed for 2 nights and we found this hotel that was close to our relative house, that we were visiting in SS20 area. It is quite spartan but has the basic necessities for an overnight stay; ie air con and reasonable twin bed, shower and WC facilities, a small fridge ( next to the bed so can be quite noisy, since we did not use it we did not turn it on ). Unfortunately, the TV was snowy but we were there to sleep so it did not bother me though I would have love to watch a bit or catch up on the day news. The plumbing in the basin was making some noise whenever we use it. As the walls are quite thin and the floors are not carpeted, you can hear quite a bit of noise from the corridors and doors slamming shut. Overall, we did manage to sleep well though I have to pay RM3 if I need an extra pillow. Eateries and a shopping mall are very close to the hotel so location is good.

There's is on going promotion during check-in directly with the hotel itself. The room itself is not soundproof which is a bit nuisance if your room been located just beside the road.

This is our second time staying at Ascot Somerset. Extremely convenient to commute around and plenty of good food across the road especially the Hokkien Mee at the end to the right. The roast duck at the same stall is definitely not to be missed with its tender and juicy meat. I bought one full duck for myr78 to bring home to Spore to share with the family. Highly recommended.

Second time here. Location location location. First time we booked 2 rooms, requested for connecting rooms. However we were given a so called family room (1 bed room apartment, living room turned into a bedroom), layout was poor and we had to share the bathroom! Second time, we stayed as we had to attend a night wedding near the hotel. We were given the room facing e-curve. It was noisy with music until 10pm as e-Curve was having food festival. The room was smelly, most prob due to sewere or water leakage from the old pipping.

Cleanliness: Overall the room was very clean, they do supply toiletries, shower gel and shampoo. Just only 1 thing: the floor was dusty, maybe around few weeks no one stay in so they didn’t clean it before my stay. Location: I was worried of the location is difficult to find before I go there, but the customer service sent a video to show me how to reach their car park, Awesome! The nearest big shopping mall is 1Utama. The building surrounded by highway, if you’re driving, is very convenient. Service: Frontdesk service was good! Customer service reply WhatsApp message very fast! Excellent service from security guard, they very polite!!!! Each level of car park have a security guard there, so no need to worry there’s no-one if need help. Amenities: The top level have gym and swimming pool and bar counter to chill with friends/family(need to bring own beverages/beer/utensils). As I know there are 2-4 lifts can reach to lobby.

The standard room is smaller but still ok. The deluxe room is larger but still has no windows. So if you want a room with a window, you must book a Deluxe room. In fact, there is no view, just an extra window. The surrounding area will be more convenient. Don't expect luxury at this price.

This is a new hotel and i love it! It can't get any better for this price range. I love the gym as it allows me to do a thorough workout. There is a beautiful pool but a bit small though. There is ba*****t parking. The room size is comfortable and the beds are comfortable. What's most amazing, this is the first hotel I've been to that has bolsters! There is a water cooler at the hallway where you can get cold and hot water. The location of the hotel is just around the Malay area and there are plenty of food stalls that you can sample from.

Royal Chulan Damansara is an old hotel with spacious room, the hotel facilities are great, love the swimming pool for it's size and the beautiful view you get from the infinity wall side. The gym is also well equipped for a good work out. i love it that they have whatsapp conceirge/housekeeping line, which means we don't have to call and wait for someone to answer the phone and accede to our request, we just need to send a msg and they will respond and fulfill our needs asap. the breakfast has a good spread, the staff are always courteous and ready to go the extra mile. will totally recommend this hotel if you are looking for a place to stay in PJ, Malaysia.

Everything is in good condition, enjoyed my stay due to near to every facilities. Toilet is clean, but the pillow and bedsheet have stain. Location is near Sunway Pyramid and food shops. Strategic location with lift and water purifier machine outside the room. The environment of the hotel is good, the price is affordable, the surrounding area is very convenient, there are several supermarkets, and the price is cheap. There are restaurants next to it, McDonald's and Burger King. There are foreign currency exchanges in the nearby streets, several Chinese restaurants, pharmacies, clinics... everything you need for life is available. Very comfortable sleep, clean, complete security system, key card provided, free drinking water, both hot and cold water, next to the hotel there is a Thai restaurant. Malaysian food, Chinese food, Japanese food within walking distance. Fast check-in and check out with deposit fixed amount of MYR 50.00. Aircond is very cold and fan is provided too. It first time experiencing self checking hotel. The instruction given by email is not clear. Just ask you to call them before arriving. I have never experience such self checking and it will be a good practice if the hotel is to give us specific instruction email and we need to pay deposit online before allow to check in. It took me almost 45 mins to check in. Further to this i was given a room that has not been cleaned and it was a total mess. Luckily, they managed to change the room for me. For a traveler who look for ease of checking in and better hospitality service (human interaction instead of over the phone) i will not recommend it. It will be a disaster if the traveler is not tech savvy. It may has a good and clean facilities and the price is good but i will not recommend it. I will definitely not stay in a self check in hotel ever. It is definitely off my list of hotel to stay.

The room is really clean and I like the shampoo / shower foam dispenser which encourages zero waste. There's a water dispenser (hot and cold water) on each floor too. The mattress and pillows are comfy too. However, for old people, it might not be suitable as there are no bed frames, just mattresses on the floor and the step up to the washroom is quite high. And there are no lifts. One has to climb up the stairs to go to one's room. For young people, this is a good budget hotel which gives you value for money.

We got a good discount on trip while booking the room. Therefore we wouldn't trouble ourselves to complain when there's no toilet paper & bottled mineral water provided. We had a king bed but only had 2 thin pillows. the aircond is freezing cold.

This is a budget hotel located in the Kota Damansara area. I stayed at this hotel for one night. The rooms are a bit small but not bad. The bathroom is clean and there is a geyser for hot shower. The television is quite small and a very old one. The bed is comfortable but the rooms are not sound proof. There is a convenience store right next to the hotel and it is surrounded by many nice restaurants, massage centers and shops.

Got this room 116RM for 3D2N by Agoda. Need deposit 50RM. The building next to Nasi Kandar Nur Alif ,which is open 24hours The parking is free, but need to struggling bit. My favorite parking is in front of the Bubble Lab Laundry 24hours (because the lightnings so good, also can peek from the windows room. Lol) There is two mini market nearby 24hours, KK and 711. The AC quite good. I didnt try the Wi-Fi. The TV Channel so bad, also so noisy. Have the fridge. But the the electric kettle looks not clean. The area enough close to Sunway Pyramid and Subang Parade, if you are Mall person. This is quite satisfy you. Overall the hotel is good.

the good: 1. because the room is small, the aircond gets cold quickly and wifi is averagely good 2. the location of this hotel is excellent and is located near many convenient places thus would make a good place to stopover for the night if you are tired. Even more convenient than Xplorer hotel 3. no issue with the toilet as it is clean and served its purpose well. Theres even toiletries and toothbrush/toothpaste provided the bad: 1. during check-in, the staff at the counter seems to be overworked as she hardly smiled or even had the mood. seems like she is forced to be there the whole day and has not had a holiday for a very long time. 2. It may get a little noisy at the entrance but because my room has no window, it was alright. Overall, the location of this hotel and comfort adds points but the lack of parking is a thing of a concern if you are planning to check in during the afternoon. I would consider staying this hotel over the Xplorer because of its cleanliness and nice lobby.

i love this hotel coz the price is so cheap & affordable! they provide massage bed & foot massager in all of the hotel room..which is quite nice,not all hotel provide u with this kind of services.. mrt just oppiste of this hotel u can take this mrt & travel easily to places you want to go. it is only 15 minutes from this hotel to bukit bintang kl if u take mrt. this hotel suitable for backpakers,family or business trip. Stayed here a couple of times for proximity to One Utama shopping mall (MYR7-15 by GRAB) because the hotel there is expensive. Not sure why people would otherwise stay in Damansara since there are budget hotels in the city as well. Plenty of amenities within walking distance such as cafes, bars, local coffeeshops. Two fantastic speakeasies are in the same row (Hyde and 61 Monarchy). Nearby street parking is free, but difficult to find especially weekend nights when it is peak period at the bars and cafes. The cheapest room is around MYR70 (+ MYR10 if you are a foreign visitor)- no windows and just enough space for a bed and table. Sheets are stained but smell clean. Typical of such budget hotels, there is no separate compartment for shower so the water floods the entire bathroom (my pet peeve!!!). Drainage can be poor depending on your luck. No shelves to put any toiletries so you need to bring a toiletry bag or basket with a hook for your stuff. Only liquid soap provided in a mineral water bottle (mega weird). No stairs to get to the rooms.
