This is a lovely hotel in Boracay. Staying there, we got to know the family who is running it and their ethos is incredible, with sustainability and the local community in mind. The hotel is bright and airy, with interesting art and overall very good value for money. All the staff were incredibly polite and helpful. It's a very very short walk to one of the best parts of the amazing white beach, with great places to swim or to sit and have a coffee or meal. Would definitely stay again.

The White Coral Hotel is located close to the store, and you can walk a short distance to the beach on platform 2. The penthouse apartment was spacious with two rooms and one bathroom with kitchen and cutlery. The staff was nice and friendly. There are many water activities at a very reasonable price. You can go to helmet diving, snorkeling, high-altitude skiing, water quad bikes and even parachuting. Hotel staff can arrange all activities for you at a reasonable price, as low asRM75 per activity. The only problem is that it is difficult to buy halal food here, and the seafood sold in the D Talipapa market is quite expensive. Hope to come here again with my family.

We stayed for two nights at Il Mare Sakura Resort Boracay with family and relatives. We occupied four rooms in total and we had a wonderful time. The resort is strategically located at Station 1 Balabag, only 250 meters away from the white beach, where you can find the famous Willy’s Rock and Grotto. There are also many restaurants and bars within reach, making this a convenient location at an affordable price. Argean, Lee and the rest of the staff at the resort were very friendly and provided top-notch service. They greeted us warmly, helped us with our luggage, and gave us advise for any restrictions during our stay about about Boracay. They also gave us useful tips on where to go and what to do in Boracay. They were always attentive and responsive to our needs and requests. The rooms were spacious, fully air-conditioned, and clean. They had a Japanese-inspired design with comfortable beds and soft linens. The bathrooms were also well-equipped with shower facilities, slippers, and free toiletries. The rooms also had a 32-inch flat-screen cable TV, a safety box, and free WiFi access. The kids loved the resort’s indoor swimming pool, where they could splash around and have fun. The pool was clean and well-maintained, and there were enough towels and lounge chairs for everyone. The breakfast buffet was delicious and had a variety of dishes to choose from. We especially liked the Asian options such as noodles, fried fish, and kimchi. We had a memorable stay at Il Mare Sakura Resort Boracay and we highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great place to stay in Boracay. It is a family-friendly resort that offers excellent value for money. We would definitely come back here again!

The hotel itself left quite a pleasant impression. I had a room on the 4th floor (there is no elevator, you need to climb the stairs, but this is not a problem for me, besides, the receptionist helped me lift my suitcase). The room is cozy, bed linen, mattress and towels of good quality, clean. The room has a mini-fridge and a jug of clean water (watch out for ants, they can crawl there and in general they are present in the room). The bathroom is large enough, there are bathroom accessories, there was always hot water. Good stable wi-fi. The view from the balcony is quite nice, but the balcony itself is small in size and I had one side facing the construction site (the next building is a hotel being built). Sometimes there was a lot of noise coming from there. Also, strange insects sometimes appeared on the pillows (not ants, a bit like caterpillars with legs), so carefully inspect your pillows. I saw them in one night. The location is 2-3 minutes from White beach, the path goes deeper and not all tiles are even, but this did not cause me any problems. Breakfast is acceptable, you can choose from several types of breakfasts - continental, Filipino, Asian, they can also combine different dishes. There is also a laundry service (for a fee) - things were in perfect condition in 2 hours. Beach towels are provided, which can be changed every day after the beach. Very nice and friendly staff, always ready to help with all questions, for this special thanks!

We arrived at the Hotel 6PM due to our delayed flight. With all smiles coming from the staff headed by ms. Jerthy we felt welcomed after our travel. They were so nice in assisting us. The Hotel is Good, clean, and the rooms are unexpectedly Big. The onky downturn and i think that they have to Update is the INAVAILABILITY OF THE INDOOR POOL, its still under maintenance up to this date, which they have to update on their sites. Well anyway you dont go there for the Pool, but what i like about the Hotel is that its near on the beach few mins walk only, its not a beachfront but only few steps away. Its very quiet at night! Away from the party and loud noises on the beach, you will be able to rest after a long day of tours. There were nearby tindahan sari sari stores and Bakery! I love the pandecoco in the morning there haha. Best of all the staff are friendly! Jerthy and best of all Jhen! Shes always punctual and all smiles and thoughtful. The main door has to be checked for repair i stayed in 304 and its kind of difficult to open. Still a Good stay for my second time in Boracay. Thanks Sitio suites!

The attitude of the waiter is very good, and the security guard can help to call a tutu car to the pier; the hotel is divided into east and west wings, which are separated by the main road, so the rooms in the east wing are a bit noisy; breakfast is in the west wing, and there is a back door, and you can reach the beach in 1 minute ,very convenient!

Not a hotel, be a hotel. There is no pick-up service. When you leave the airport, you have to take the Sounthwest boat to Boracay. You will have to walk along the beach for about 5 minutes to get to the hotel. Wi-Fi can't be used basically, or buy a mobile phone card yourself. Occasionally there will be no power outages and be mentally prepared. Good location, right at the beach, just out the door. However, the room does not see the sea view. Breakfast is ok.

A few minutes walk from DMall to Bulabog Beach, Lanterna is a place to go for a holistic experience in Boracay. I started my day with the Yoga at the rooftop, they offer different types of yoga every morning. The place is so amazing and you can meet with tourist and locals alike who starts their day w meditation. The fresh breeze of the ocean wind gives you relaxing atmosphere. Afterwhich a healthy breakfast awaits you, they also have a wide array of vegetarian dishes to choose from. I may say the owners will make you feel at home.

Blame me for not doing my homework. Now I am going to Boracay. The whole island is under reconstruction. The road is dug and smelt, the dust is rolling, the smelly water is flowing, and the island is in a good mood because it is half gray. I think this island will take at least 2 years to return to normal! If you want to go there now, please think twice and be mentally prepared! The bed and breakfast is halfway up the mountain, the steep staircase is the only access to the holiday lodge, there is no lift, so if the baggage is not willing to tip, you can only hit it hard. The view to the mountain hut is good, we There was a good time there for a few days. The white sand beach is still beautiful. The decoration facilities of the homestay are also very general. It is also very timely to call the staff several times to handle the toilet. This is a good point. The location is not very good, on the other side of the white sand beach, although it is also by the sea, but the waves are too big for water, only suitable for surfing, if you like surfing, you can consider booking here. Walking to white beach needs 20 Minutes of time. If I ask if I will book it next time, I can hardly say it because I don't know when it will be time to go to Boracay next time.

Taj is literally next to White Beach and has the comforts a basic traveller would need. Comfy bed, good AC, hot shower, and reliable wifi. Would definitely choose to stay here again on my next visit. Staff are all friendly and willing to help any time of the day, especially Ate Jen who made my stay really great and I felt really at home here. I had an issue first with the hot shower but they instantly moved me to a room with a functional one. Other than that, it was a totally great, hassle-free, and smooth stay.

I booked a standard room for 2 days, and this hotel met all my non-negotiables. We had typhoon with strong wind during my visit in Boracay, and I felt safe inside my room. Alta Vista is our go to place at Boracay! We’ve been to boracay 4x and we always love staying at Alta Vista!!! We tried staying at other hotels in between but Alta Vista outstands the hospitality of all the other hotels we’ve stayed in. The bed was so comfortable that it’s hard to get out! The aircon was so cold that it refreshes us whenever we came back from the beach. The room was always clean and tidy each and every visit! The jacuzzi pool was so relaxing after a long day from the beach! Kindly look for Rochel, Ike, Jhona, Joy as they are the warmiest people who’ll be there to assist you! For our shuttle service Herbert, Ray, Genesis and Acer are always on the go whenever we needed a ride! We thought we love Boracay but our heart goes to Alta Vista! We’re surely to come back soon! Thank you Alta Vista! ❤️

Probably the comment is not very good, so there is not much price increase during the Spring Festival. This is still good. Most of the people who live here are foreigners. They are always full. There are few Chinese people. The location is really good. The beach, at S3, diving sunset sailing, water sports are very convenient, there are not as many people as S2, it is confirmed that there is no WiFi, no free breakfast, no disposable items, no kettle, no hair dryer, non-Huawei mobile phone in the room, The Internet is not good, the room is still very big, very clean, and the decoration style is ok. It is more retro and clean. It has not been cleaned for 3 days. It should be a style that European and American tourists like, but in general, Chinese New Year During this price, this great location, such a large room, was quite cost-effective.

We booked a family room for 7 people at this hostel, but when we arrived, we were disappointed to be given a room with 4 bunk beds and a transparent sliding door, which seemed meant for solo travelers. We didn’t say anything at first, but on the 2nd day, we found out that the door wouldn’t lock. When we asked an attendant to help, he was surprised and asked who put us in that room, saying we were supposed to be in a family room without a transparent door. Since we were in a hurry, we told him we would deal with it after our trip. When we got back, we spoke to the attendant who originally checked us in. Instead of apologizing, he said the family rooms were sold out, so he put us in any available room without telling us. When we asked if we could move to a different room, he refused. Luckily, a female attendant stepped in and said she would arrange for us to move to another room, which she would have cleaned right away. We appreciated her help, but to avoid more stress, we decided to stay in the room we were given. However, we feel it’s important to mention the rude behavior from the male attendant, which affected our stay.

Hubby and I got a very good deal during the resort’s super sale with our deluxe room that has a balcony facing the beach. Residencia Boracay is a small resort surrounded by big hotel names (Discovery Shores, Henann...). The room has all the basics—hot shower, cable TV, mini ref, instant coffee/tea, safety deposit box, but we hardly stayed inside because it’s situated in a prime location by Station 1 (the best area in the island). We enjoyed the typical Filipino breakfast of silog, but their in-house restaurant, Sole, has a very extensive menu. There’s pizza, sandwiches, grilled meats, seafood, etc, and even happy hour deals on beer and cocktails. It’s a quiet spot (except when the nearby resort’s have live music at night) and family-friendly, too. Kudos to the staff who are warm and friendly. Residencia Boracay will be top of mind for me, especially because of its competitive rates. We’ll be back!

The staff are all super friendly and you are a couple of minutes walk from the beach, the restaurants and bars. The road the hotel is on is not really a ‘proper’ road but it was no issue for me. Air con unit in the downstairs room was loud but I’m a heavy sleeper, upstairs room had a new aircon unit. This hotel is located in front of the beach. If you are looking for a room with an ocean view, stay in the room in A or B. Our room A had a nice ocean view but unfortunately, you also see tangled electric power wires as well. They have an extremely limited service/facilities. It is not like a hotel. They give you full independence and leave you alone, whether you like it or not. The amanity is a bare minimum and they don't even provide toothbrush or hair treatment. What they give are bath towels, two small soaps, and the smallest packets of shampoo. No bath mats, no bottled water, no beach towels, no washcloth, no tea or coffee.. So, if you are set to go to this hotel, be ready and bring everything you need with you. I do not think they serve breakfast. But, there are plenty of places to eat in the area. This was our 5 or 6th time visiting Boracay (we used to live in the Philippines) and we have stayed at least 11 or 12 different hotels there. I do not think we are going back to this hotel for the price we paid.

Sundown Resort & Austrian Pension House

An incident happened during our stay at Sundown Resort and Austrian Pension. Unfortunately, I broke the tempered glass on top of the table located in the balcony. I know it’s my fault and very much willing to pay for it (but of course at a reasonable amount and its actual price quoted by the Aluminum and Glass company only). The table is small and its only a 2-seater and the tempered glass thickness is, I think, 1/4. I talked to the Filipina wife of the owner asking for its price, but for some reason, she told me that they need to call the Aluminum and Glass company first so that they can measure the actual size first before company will quote for the exact amount. I was also worried since it's a Sunday and most businesses are closed and it's our check-out day as well. After the incident happened, I've also started researching online for an Aluminum and Glass company around Caticlan and Boracay and I even told the filipina wife that I will move to other hotel and if the company will not give the price on that same day, then I can be contacted anytime and of course willing to pay the amount of the tempered glass. But the Filipina wife said that I need to settle it on that same day. I also don't understand that she couldn't talk to me straight to my eyes as if she's hiding something from me, she will touch the table in the restaurant, will fix the table cloth even if everything is in order, etc while I was talking to her. Anyway, this is how I feel during the time I was talking to the filipina wife. Then, all of a sudden the wife disappear while I was talking to her. I then went straight to the receptionist named Sheika. According to Sheika the Austrian male owner is charging me for an overkill price of 3K pesos for a 2-seater tempered glass. I feel like it was a ripped off and the owner of the pension house really took advantage of the situation. When I transferred to my next hotel, I asked around to the hotel staff and they know an Aluminum and Glass company in Boracay, station 3 where Sundown Resort is, and they did even help me to ask for its price and the company quoted around 2160 pesos including delivery which is a very reasonable amount. One company also quoted me online amounting to 1800 in Caticlan and they will deliver the tempered glass in the resort too. I am not just happy with what happened. Anyway, overall I am not happy with the owner especially to the filipina wife as she is not very accommodating to the guests. During our first day, my sister humbly asked the receptionist (Shieka) if we can reheat our food in the microwave oven. Shieka asked the filipina wife, but the wife without hesitation said NO. This is only a small kind of good practice, which I don't think a very big deal if you are the owner of the resort. I don't think they know the meaning what ”kindness” is. The filipina wife does not know what a good customer service is. Even if you are the owner of the resort, you should know how to practice the meaning of custom

The hotel was chosen correctly! Checking in is very convenient, and the beach is just outside. Had two dinners in the hotel restaurant and the breakfast booked was delicious and inexpensive. The other is to occasionally go to the convenience store to buy fruit and water, or go out to eat. It’s also very close to the famous smoke restaurant, just walk across the beach. There are so many shells that can be picked up on the beach. At night, lying on a lounger with the sea breeze and watching the round moon is indescribably more comfortable. Almost two coconuts a day, big and sweet.

Excellent location because it's near the white beach and walking distance to D'mall. The superior family room accommodation was 👍. The staff were very good. Fast internet connection was a plus factor. It's a budget friendly hotel accommodation and if by chance I will be traveling back to Boracay, I would love to stay again in this resort.

The room is spacious and clean. The furnitures/fixtures are minimalist which compliments the whole aesthetic of the room. The room's balcony faces the beach so it's a nice view but I don't stay there much as there's a property with unkempt vegetation in front so there's a lot of mosquitos and other insects. The hotel is about a minute walk to the beach and 2-5 minutes to Diniwid beach. Got the basic appliances: Refrigerator, Hair dryer, tv and phone they even added a water dispenser. They also have accommodating and nice staff. What I didn't enjoy was that they didn't inform me that they do housekeeping without you asking for it, was surprised to return to my room (i forgot my wallet so i had to go back) and the door was open then there were 2 people making my bed. They also don't have a regular schedule doing it, as I noticed on one of those 4 days (i stayed in the hotel) I left the room early to watch the sunrise at the beach, my room was already made up when I returned around 9:30am. To be honest, it's not bad but a heads up would've been nice. Another thing is that the rooms are not soundproofed and they have limited breakfast options.

Imagine stepping out of a spacious, well-appointed room right onto the sand of a gorgeous tropical beach. The Boracay Beach Houses is a boutique family-run hotel perfectly located at the quiet end of Boracay Beach. A wonderful tropical European fusion with lovely staff and chilled vibes. Andy and his team were incredibly helpful and made our stay enjoyable and memorable. The rooms are beautiful, the breakfasts were delicious, and the beach is incredible. We walked along the beach from end-to-end and the Boracay Beach Houses are uniquely designed - everyone stops to look at them. We don't normally re-visit places but we will definitely be back! Amazing,

This is a review for the restaurant/bar; I had already booked my accommodation in advance before finding this place during my trip (but I would definitely look to book a room here in future if I am lucky enough to visit Boracay again). The restaurant serves very authentic tasting Thai food, with lovely basil/coriander/ginger/lemongrass flavours, making it a great change from the typical food served in many of the other restaurants. The bar is at the front and is therefore great for sitting with a beer and looking out on to the beach for some ”people-watching”. The bar is managed by a very friendly guy - Arthur - who has been working there for a long time (I think he said 30 years!) Arthur keeps the beer super-cold, and is great for a relaxed chat, with tips for the island. The other staff were all very friendly too. A very relaxed and friendly place. Hope to see you again in the future, Arthur! (P.S. My only suggestion would be to have a larger sign at the front advertising your Thai food; I know there is a sign but, to be honest, I didn't notice it, and I only discovered the Thai food by accident when I asked for the menu. I think a clearer sign for your great Thai food may bring in additional customers? All the best - and many thanks!)

I love how the location is strategically located in the heart of Boracay. The hotel is just a few meters away from pharmacies, restaurants, bars, and groceries. The front desk was also helpful and gave excellent recommendations and where to go while in Boracay. They also have a transportation partner where you can book pick-up and drop-off arrangements from and to the airport. Special thanks to Amina and the rest of the front office team for my mom's birthday set-up!

As a Samsung hotel, the price of 400 yuan, in terms of cost performance, has already killed all local hotels at the same level, even 4 stars. Service is good, location is good, dmall is close. Breakfast is average, not worth 60 yuan / 2 people, see picture. Due to the oncoming coronavirus, it did not go out to sea, and overall, it is not as playable as Bali. Another: there is a hey juice at the entrance of dmall! With the national financial difficulties of China's coronavirus, 100 surgical masks are strongly recommended!

Great place right by the beach. The owner and his daughter are very welcoming and nice. Location is just perfect, shops, restaurants, bars everything is nearby. The room is simple, but if you are just there to sleep, it’s fine. The AC was working well, it was strong, so we were only using fan at night. WiFi signal was strong too.

This trip was especially special as it was my Best Friends One year Anniversary And Her 35th Birthday and My 40th Birthday trip that I had painstakingly searched for months for the perfect hotel that suited all 4 of our Party. I insanely rely on reviews and Social Media as a guide since this was my first trip to Boracay and was basically booking ”blind”. I really wanted a few things. 1. A clean room and 2. A few feet from the Beach. Upon Arrival I was greeted by lovely faces and cheerful staff. Mind you, I just travelled for 19 hours so, I was Exhausted, hot And annoyed that I paid for front door service from the jetty and basically end up having to walk.. anyway. They took me to my room, which did not excite me. Of course as someone who looked at every single image online and read every review, my expectations were to receive the rooms (I booked 2) that were all over the interwebs. And could have booked at another hotel in an instant- I refused the rooms given. Donald, the Manager, with the most friendly, calm demeanor talked to me in such a way that seemed to calm and sooth me making me realize that I am now in paradise and offered me Garden bungalows for this issue- most likely not his but more so Booking.coms for using images that were that of a higher grade room. All in all. Our entire 8 day stay, truly was magical in every way. THANK YOU DONALD, STAFF AND ALL THE CUTE DOGS AND KITTIES (that I have named and loved). We will return.

The White Shamrock Hotel is in the dead center of station 2, approximately 120M off the beach down a side street, very convenient and safe. The room itself was good for the price, but it definitely is no luxury, but you shouldn't expect that for what you spend. The two staff that run the front desk: Kenneth and Queenie are amazing humans and seem to do anything for their guests. I would definitely stay here again on my next trip to Boracay.

The hotel is located on white beach. It’s a beautiful resort with a top-class breakfast buffet. The hotel staff were all friendly and kind and tried their best to make us feel welcome. The three pools at the hotel are amazing - this was my favorite part of the hotel! We had to pay a deposit of 6k peso on check in. There were some ants in our room and on the bed and the hotel staff assisted immediately, by offering to change rooms. We celebrated a birthday and they made it extra special during breakfast! One thing that bothered me… the housekeeping leaving a warning for us not to smoke in the room even though we hadn’t been doing so. We followed the rules and made sure not to smoke in the room, but we were met with a warning that a smoking was detected in the room and that the hotel would charge us two nights stay as a result. Overall it’s a wonderful hotel. The beds are soft and the location is perfect!

Stayed at this hotel in November for a week and have nothing but good things to say. First off it’s a 30 second walk to the beach where there is tons of shopping and restaurants! Wifi is weak here. Hotel is clean and staff is super friendly. Complimentary coffee, water and tea in the room. Snacks in the room available for purchase. Toothbrush, shampoo and conditioner available in the room. Lots of channels on TV. Housekeeping tidies rooms every day! Comfy beds and AC that works great and keeps your room very cool! Breakfast included! Lots of items to choose from!
