This is the old hotel but renovated. However, everything in the room is quite good especially the flush toilet. The staffs are friendly. But when our room called them to get the daily amenities when we came back to the room, they accepted our requests but did not provide anything. May be because it was in late evening already.

Me and my husband arrived St Paul’s hotel and we were very lucky to encounter the receptionist named Mario at the desk, which he really made a perfect first impression for our trip… He accommodated us really quickly, with a smooth check in process and a very funny conversation.. He was really helpful offering us to take our luggage to the room as well as highlighting that if we needed anything he would be there(We actually needed a converter and an extra towel, which he very promptly brought to the room) Not a complaint but just another the girl in the reception needs more training as she did not feel very confident on giving us some info for the area around the hotel and looked really stressed.. Generally everyone was so nice and we definitely planning on coming back to have another unforgettable experience in the St pauls hotel.

The room is quite big, a 28-inch suitcase can be fully spread out, there is a desk, and a single sofa, it feels more spacious than another hotel of the same price. The windows are double-layered, and the room facing the street can't hear any sound. The bathroom is also quite big, it is a hotel I am very satisfied with.

Great location, friendly and very helpful staff. Massive thanks go to Alam, Steve and Billy for making my stay hassle free and as enjoyable as ever. Relaxed atmosphere and professional service made my stay the one to remember. Cleanliness and security provided were definitely at the level beyond the cost of the stay which was a nice surprise. Thanks!

It's full of surprises. The management company sent us the check in info 2 days in advanced and I was so shocked that gave us an apartment that is down in the basement. We complained and they eventually gave us an apartment that is on the 2nd floor. If you have lots of luggages, don't even consider booking this place. The stairs are really steep. The place was clean. The mattresses are sagging. Someone opened our door on the morning of our second last day and tried to check into our apartment. All in all, the experience wasn't too bad considering that I only paid approximately GBP180 per day for the half term weeks. For someone who mainly travels within Asia, it was a nightmare, but I guess it wasnt too bad in London standard.

The beds were comfortable, the bathrooms modern & hot showers and the kitchen staff very efficient and friendly. However we are very disappointed & and angry about the 2 rooms we booked. Taking our 3 grandaughters to London and booked here because it showed on their website a triple room, with 3 separate beds, (not on now)!!! Having arrived at 8pm, after a school day & long train journey down, we found the triple room is a double & single. We did however overcome this, after tears from the girls BUT the rooms where on different floors!! What is more annoying is the fact I actually phoned the hotel, twice, to ensure the rooms where together and was assured they where!!. If you look on the Booking.com or even the Saba hotel website, you will find that most of the pictures on there do not match the actual hotel, we stayed at. However they do have a few hotels in the chain, so maybe the photos got mixed up!!! The lovely bright rooms and spacious dining area are not at this hotel. Our rooms were very small, crowded and old fashioned. The kitchen area was clean but small, certainly for the amount of guests the hotel has.Needless to say we wont be using this chain again.

Had a one night stay as we were seeing a show at the Apollo, Hammersmith. Close to Barons Court station, located in a quiet road. Could check in at 1.30 which we found useful. Had room in the front on the first floor. Very clean, modern shower and bathroom. Had buffet continental breakfast in a large dining room. Plenty of choice for £7.50. Would definitely use again if we were in the area.

The room is small but feels safe The service attitude of the staff is also very good and very enthusiastic. The only drawback is that the sound insulation is a bit poor. This time I came to London and stayed at the Magnificent, the Fragmented Shangri-La, the Horse Guards and the Bulgari. The rooms in this 1,500-pound hotel had no highlights at all. I really felt like I was paying an IQ tax! Moreover, the air conditioner was very noisy, there was dust on the table, and even the pens had no refills. Several others have their own characteristics. Bulgari is not recommended.

We only went in for a drink and food, so I can't rate the rooms (we did stay years ago and everything was fine). Staff were friendly and efficient and the food was gorgeous, generous portions and so reasonably priced. I had scampi and there were about 14 pieces and all for under £10! We love this pub before gigs at Wembley, though my older friends dread the hill 😆

We had to leave very unexpectedly, but did find the hotel a little run down looking from the outside. We had arrived early and the room was ready, but we could only check in early for an extra charge which we declined, as we were going out anyway so just left our bags in the car. The room was supposed to be an executive room however, it was like any other room we had ever stayed in so don’t know what was executive about it. Tea tray was a bit stingy with 1 packet of biscuits between 2 of us (1 biscuit each). Only 4 milk cartons, but plenty of tea and coffee sachets. The bathroom had nice shower gel and lotion supplied with plenty of towels but, also had blue insulation tape on the radiator and the ceiling above the bath was peeling it all looked a little tired. The room was clean and perfectly comfortable, but definitely lacked that added luxury that I thought we had upgraded to with executive. Maybe that was my own fault not checking exactly what the difference was between normal and executive aside from the price. Sadly, our trip was cut short with an emergency, so we never got to stay overnight or sample the breakfast.

Staff were amazing and attentive when issues arose. Booked the king size room which was large and spacious but that’s where the good parts end. - Air Condition did not work (Told reception when we got in at night and was given a fan) - Mini fridge did not work, so gave the food we bought to amazing receptionist - lamp in the corner was not plugged in, had to move the table from the wall to switch it on. - Bathroom wasn’t wiped down properly so you could see the residue of the last guests. Besides the amazing staff who helped and gave good local recommendations for bars and restaurants the quality of the hotel was lacking. Would not be staying again.

A MUST STAY hotel if you are in London but prefer to be a little bit outside of central but have Canary Wharf and the River Thames literally on your doorstep. There is an amazing shuttle boat that takes you for free across to Canary Wharf which is something you need to experience whilst staying. Really good hotel with friendly staff and nice amenities! Everything looks nicely furnished and there were no issue with the cleanliness. Food was good too were decent variety. The only issues were the missing table as shown in the photos for Family Room and the hotel only use bathroom curtains instead of glass, which was weird aesthetically given how nicely furnished the rest of the room is. Other than that, it's a great stay and I recommend this hotel.

The bed in the twin room of this hotel is very big, and three suitcases can be opened side by side, which is beyond my expectation. Before coming here, I read the reviews that London hotels are small and similar to those in Japan, but much bigger than Japan. The guy at the front desk was very nice. He asked several times if I had allergies. I didn't understand at first, but he was very patient. It turned out that he gave us cookies. The cookies were so delicious! The breakfast is also OK. It is only a few minutes' walk from the Natural History Museum and V&A. There is also a Chinese restaurant nearby, Shanghai No. 10, which saved my Chinese stomach. Recommended!

Very nice stay at the Bankside hotel though not without some difficulties. We had asked for a quiet room but were placed right next to the lift lobby and opposite the water dispenser, and with hard floors throughout the lift lobby and entrance area of the rooms this meant a LOT of noise coming in the room at all hours. In fairness, the front desk tried to find an alternative but it was not what we were looking for so we opted to stay where we were and made the best of it. Aside from this everything else about the stay was great, a really lovely modern hotel with very friendly and fun staff, great breakfast (though not cheap) and good location on the South Bank. We would definitely stay here again (though ask not to be in this room location). Special mention to breakfast staff who helped get extra fruit for our toddler and concierge who gave him Christmas gifts from the tree... lovely touches.

Everything was very good. Breakfast offers a lot of coice - except warm breakfast is only on Weekends. On the Trip site the check in time is incorrect (ov voucher it says after 12, but it is after 14) - despite us coming too early, they gave us the room and made coffee for free. The hotel is locked over night and the staff is really friendly. We were in the hotel trought the hottest days in history but they prepared a ventilator - because they don't have AC (normally).

Just an average hotel convenient for the area. Closed for 3 months from 1st November 2020. A few problems with the room but can be put down to the closure of the hotel for a few months. Double check when booking about breakfast being included in your rate and be aware it is a simple boxed 'continental' breakfast; Parking, though advertised is not free - from £10 per night, again check when booking and spaces are limited. At weekends, on street, free parking is available. if you need t be in this area and just need a place to rest your head, this hotel would do.

We stayed at the Alexander Pope hotel last weekend when we were in London for a family wedding and booked three rooms, including for elderly relatives. Other family members also stayed as it was near to the wedding venue. What a wonderful and hospitable place to stay. All of the staff, from reception on arrival to bar staff and breakfast staff were incredibly helpful and friendly, even facilitating an early check in for one of the rooms so that we could get ready. Parking on site is a huge bonus. The rooms were very clean and comfortable with all the amenites you could need for the night and we had lovely river views. Great location too! Thank you! One small thing (but a big one if you are older or have any sight impairment) : The lighting in the rooms is lovely and atmospheric but it would be really helpful to also have a brighter practical ceiling light that could be switched on too as some of our party struggled a little to see in the room at night.

My wife and I had a stay at Mimis recently, and overall, we enjoyed it and would stay there again. However, I suggest doing some research beforehand, as the rooms are quite tiny. Even though we were aware of this before arriving, we were still a bit surprised by just how small they were. Despite this, it didn't negatively impact our experience or spoil our stay. The room and bathroom was nicely decorated. I only have a few minor observations rather than complaints. Upon check-in, we requested a late check-out, but the person at the reception seemed a bit abrupt, as he did with an older couple in front of us who had questions about their room location in the annex and that they hoped to stay in the main building. The pillows provided were not very supportive, as they deflated to almost nothing. If we had stayed for more than one night and asked for extra pillows, they would have been accommodating. Regarding breakfast, we inquired about the options available and were informed that they offered coffee and pastries. Unfortunately, they couldn't provide hot food, which was a bit disappointing. It would have been nice to have the choice of continental-style breakfast with cold meats and other items; we would have been willing to pay for it as we only wanted somthing light. Despite these very small things, they did not affect our overall enjoyment of the stay. We still had a pleasant time, and we are looking forward to returning to Mimis in the future. Location is great!

I stay with the IHG group every week and one hotel stay rolls into another. However tonight's stay deserves a positive review thanks to young man on reception called Joshua. I arrived at the hotel extremely early, just after 14:00 and understandly my room was not yet ready. Joshua gave me a drinks voucher and set me up in the downstairs bar / restaurant. It's comfy and quiet down there and I was able to get on with some work. Once my room was ready I discovered that I had been upgraded which was a pleasant surprise. Then later in the evening Joshua was kind enough to bring me up a fan along with a key that allowed him to open the windows. So often you're just another number, but not tonight. Joshua was friendly, knowledgeable, professional and polite. I will use this hotel as often as possible and recommend it to others.

Staff at The Waldorf are incredibly attentive to any / all needs. I asked for a later checkout and plates for food early in the morning after a night out and they accommodated that for us. The hotel is placed in a prime location, just a stones throw from Covent Garden and about 28-30 minutes walk from Regent Street. The hotel is only accessible by key card after hours; to ensure guest safety. Amenities in the room included an iron and board, kettle, drinking glasses and coffee / tea cups. The shower had fixed shampoo, conditioner and soap dispensers. The mini bar was fairly priced for central London, but hadn't been cleaned (hence the slightly lower score on cleanliness). The air conditioning dried my throat out throughout the night, but turns off automatically if the window is open, so had to deal with that / just had water next to the bed throughout the night. The downstairs bar had a great a**osphere and boasts a large menu. Great for a late nightcap. Overall the experience was great. Our Queen room cost £179.00 for the night (excluding breakfast). I was offered two forms of upgrades. A larger Queen Room with breakfast included was only an extra £40.00, and a Kings Suite with access to the executive lounge and breakfast was £80.00 extra.
