We used Banquet Hall in Raintree Hotel St Marys Road Thanks for offering a fantastic hospitality today whilst we had our day workshop today at your premises. - Hall was great for 40 of us - AV systems and Projector were great (which normally easy to have challenges) - Support who were available in the Hall (Prakash, and other kitchen staffs) all were exceeded our expectations - Everyone appreciated the Food Spread ! Special thanks to the Chef : Hithayathullah S I would rate a promoter score if there were a NPS survey 😊 Finally the Banquet ***ager Divya was a great person to work with, she ensured all our meeting needs are taken care from the Quote estimation to Final Invoice.

This place was recommended by a friend who stays at Boat Club and I read reviews in Google, Tripadvisor and Aggregator sites.   We booked 2 rooms for 2N/3D stay at Crowne Plaza, Adyar, Chennai through an aggregator site. I called up the hotel to check on our reservation confirmation, but we were told that only one room is booked and they do not have second room confirmation. I called up the support team of aggregator and they confirmed it is 2 rooms and they called up the hotel and shared us an email confirmation. Later I called up the reservation desk and understood that 2 rooms are booked and it’s a confirmed reservation.   Our Check-in experience was good and the staff were courteous and quick.   We were allotted two rooms in old block at Floor number 14 (Room No 1403 and 1405). For a moment I recollected the online reviews I read and the pictures I saw about this hotel weren’t in the same. I thought I will revisit the reviews online and double check If I had made any mistakes in booking wrong hotel. I also called up my friend and told my experience isn’t great and the rooms are looking OLD and the plumbing systems inside the wash room and room telephony isn’t working well. I invited the hotel Duty ***ager (Mr.Josua) and showed him the plumbing system inside the wash room and asked him just because the I happened to book from an aggregator site and got attractive deals, we were given a poor looking rooms? Or is this a standard rooms that they offer for all type of bookings. (we discussed this after experiencing our stay in poor and old looking rooms for 1 night).  Mr.Josua said the rooms in this floors are due for renovation and they would allot us rooms from new block. I told I would like to see the room before we move in. Mr.Murali took us to the new rooms and I could match the room pictures as posted in review sites. I told Murali and Josua, it is outrageous that they allotted old rooms to gullible guests. We moved into new rooms in Floor 25 (in new block)   The breakfast was awesome and service host (I think his name is Jibin).

Classic room of this hotel is too small area. While booking hotel is charged additioal amount for the third guest. However they are not providing extra bed/ mattress and room is too small not having enogh space for occupying matess. So i have to change room to delux room which is additional amount of thousand. The checkin experience was smooth and the staff was very cooperative. The complimentary breakfast was better than some restaurants even, and even if we missed the timing on the first day, they gave us a plate after some time. Every appliance worked great, and the smart tv was one of the best things in the room. The wifi was a little slow. Nothing negative to write about other than the location being a little hard to understand for the locals, but that's also one of the good things about this hotel.

The stay was best. Our previous hotel was cancelled due to some app technical issue. In rush we booked Al Noor palace. We were traveling with family booked 4 rooms for 2 nights. The rooms here our not so spacious but the in room amenities, ac , tv, cleaning everything was perfectly managed and maintained. The staff was so polite, Mr. Rehman and night staff, the housekeeping, the restaurant person everyone was so helpful. Only one suggestion just try to increase the staff in breakfast timings. Rest We all loved the place and definitely would recommend to our friends and also would come again whenever we visit Chennai. Thanks all for this wonderful stay. Keep up the good work.

I wanted to give a bad review, but compared to the hotel I stayed the next day, this one is much better, so be lenient. The hotel decoration is very old, the rooms are average, the sheets are not clean, there are scum, hair and stroke marks. This may be a common problem in Indian hotels. As long as the sheets are not dirty, they are obviously not changed. The breakfast buffet is decent, with seven or eight food options. The price of more than 300 yuan, can live in a good hotel in the country.

When you leave the airport, you can find ola's customer service at the door in China to help you book a car. It is a good deal to get a taxi to the hotel for 20 yuan. Location: The hotel is within walking distance (600Mts) from the Chennai Railway Station. A bit inside a lane, but not so difficult to locate it. Staff: They were very professional, gentle and courteous. Explaining each and every thing very transparently. The Receptionist especially Mr. Balu was just really very impressive. They were concerned about if the TV is running, its volume is satisfactory. More over it was IPL and initially, IPL was not coming in my room TV. Later, they arranged it. I was overhelmed. Food: They do not have any restaurant with in the premises. Since, there are lot many around this hotel, you can order food in the room. They will serve you without any extra cost. They have tied with two restaurants. Menu is also provided inside the room. The food is good. Cleanliness: I have no words to explain, it is just professional and very clean. Not only the room, but the entire hotel, the lobby area, the stairs, the reception area, entire hotel is kept at its best. Room: We booked one AC double deluxe room for two days. The room is having all the required day to day facilities. They even provided my shaving kit. It was very cozy and ambient.

Firstly the location of the stay is amazing. The hotel is located in the prime OMR. The rooms are neat and tidy. But the space of the room is not vey good some might find them cramped. The room service is ok and few hotels are nearby easy for transportation. Highly recommended for solo or couple travellers. Its a pure business stay.

Overall stay was good. Location was awesome just walk from goverment estate metro straight into hotel gate using subway and all visa offices are just 10 minutes ride from here. Additionally marina is just 15 min drive for a little relax. Restaurents and shops are walkable distance. There was a bar attached which has good choice of beers and dishes. A small restaurent attached with limited menu. Taste was ok. No bad. Staffs are highly helpful. Cons: a old building needs renovation lift was super slow and making noise, ac was super old but good cooling effect, you can't view temp are adjust. Common pathways are smelly, and full of north indian workers roaming all over. You can stay for a day with no issues specially if you are coming for vfs global visa or us visa services.

It's value for price however, the service is slow. Some of the amenities were missing and were brought in late despite several reminders such as the towels, toiletries, and the kettle. There was a power problem initially due to which the lift wasn't functioning. Staff is friendly and attending. Food and cleaning were arranged at a short notice. Can consider this place once again if you are in Periyamet, specially the other hotels within same budget in the surrounding aren't very good. Didn't have time to take pics but the what's shown here is pretty much the condition in real.

A one night decent stay in this hotel. Swimming pool was good, thought time mentioned was till 8 pm, the management said only till 6 pm allowed in pool. But after our request, they eventually allowed for 15 mins stay in pool.
