A special place I hope to return to again. Only a short taxi to Ave San Martin from the hotel, in a location where you will experience a peaceful setting overlooking the water & mountains. At this boutique hotel you’ll receive attention & care from the owners who have beautifully decorated the rooms & provided many places inside & outside to relax & connect with nature. Maia helped me before I arrived by recommending & booking tours that suited my time and interests. Seba is a talented chef who prepares incredibly fresh, tasty & expertly presented food with care for you & the earth, sharing stories about Ushuaia. Thank you Maia & Seba for a memorable experience & creating a place of tranquility. I highly recommend everyone stay at your hotel at the end of the world, the spectacular Ushuaia.

Nice size room for a Hotel in Ushuia and the dinner was fantastic. We where in Argentina for 2 weeks and it was one of the best meals I had. Also the host was very friendly and accommodating. I would definitely go back. Also it was very easy to get around from that location using Uber.

I spent four absolutely wonderful nights at this warm and welcoming boutique hotel in Ushuaia. I was traveling with three friends and our two rooms were comfortable and well appointed. The hotel is in a cozy and beautiful house, with a charming dining room, sitting room, game/library room, and a lovely deck and backyard overlooking the gorgeous Beagle Channel. Maia and Sebastian, the owners and your hosts, are terrific, with Maia providing incredibly useful advice for us in advance of our visit. It was our first time in Ushuaia and she was enormously helpful with booking tours and general visitor information. Our transportation from the airport was pre-arranged and included in our reservation and worked perfectly. Sebastian is also a very talented chef. Breakfast is included and consists of both a delicious and varied buffet as well as freshly cooked eggs. Dinner is offered several nights a week and it is definitely worth eating some of your meals at the hotel despite the many wonderful places to eat in Ushuaia. We enjoyed two fantastic three course dinners at the hotel. The food, service, and wine, were all top notch. Sebastian and Maia will also happily recommended restaurants to try and will make reservations for you as well. The hotel is slightly outside of the main tourist area but we walked into town one morning and cabs are both easy to book and inexpensive. It’s actually very nice staying outside the busy tourist area and getting to see one of the city’s residential neighborhoods. I cannot recommended Leyendas more highly especially if you are someone who enjoys a smaller, quieter hotel with great charm and personal service. I would go back there in a minute, and hope to have the opportunity to do so.

The perfect place to stay in Ushuaia. Very comfortable room in a quiet spot away from the busy centre, but taxis are cheap and frequent (US$3 to centre). Excellent breakfast and dinner with great wine at good prices, and best of all an extremely welcoming and helpful host. Lots to do - a coastal walk from the hotel, the very interesting town, and on the road to the Tierra del Fuego National Park. Hire a bike from the shop behind the hotel and cycle to the end of the road that started in Alaska!
