Great site with good facilities and we joined the C&CC Tamar DA rally which meant it was a reduced rate. Close to bus stop for Watergate and Newquay, also near to Porth Beach and the Mermaid pub. You can access the coastal path quite easily by walking across the back end of the beach.

This was my fourth visit. We were part of the Caravan and Camping Club Rally and absolutely loved our stay (despite the weather) I travelled with my 83 year old mother. The location is perfect. The Mermaid pub opposite serves amazing food and had a fabulous atmospher. The toilet/shower block gets a 10 out of 10. Disabled facilities were perfect for mum The only downside for me is that unless you are on a rally, the site do not accept same sex parties. I understand no hen or stags etc, but I holiday with my mum (83) and Im 55 years old. We are not noisy or disruptive. I really think their policy needs changing to reflect each booking. Surely this is prejudice! Me and my mum are both widows, so its not our choice that we go on holiday without our husbands!

Would never give this company my custom again. They care little for their customers and only about money! There are so many beautiful campsites in the area to choose from which are better value for money and actually appreciate your custom.

Did not stay at the campsite but after my experience with this business I would never want to! I parked in their car park between the site and the beach. The car park is owned by this campsite and managed by Armtrac Security Services. If you haven’t heard of Armtrac you need to Google them. Reading up on them and their reviews will tell you all you need to know about what kind of company they are. Sadly the campsite seem to condone this underhanded way of doing business. Therefore not a company I would ever want to spend my money with!

We should have been at Porth Beach Holiday Park in our Motorhome but 10 minutes into the journey on Thursday 23rd May it went into limp mode. I contacted the Reception to inform them that I needed to cancel the Pitch booking after explaining the problem. I was informed that it wasn’t a problem “ we can book you into one of our Static Units” We thought that they went above and beyond to help. The Static unit is spotlessly clean, comfortable, warm, spacious and a home from home.We would not hesitate to return. Thank you to all at Porth Beach Holiday Park - see you again in the very near future.
