I recently stayed at the Opal Grand Resort, and it was simply outstanding. From the smooth check-in with friendly staff to the luxurious rooms with stunning ocean views, every detail was perfect. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and the amenities were top-notch. Dining at the resort's restaurants was a highlight, with delicious dishes and impeccable service. The pool and spa facilities added to the overall relaxation and enjoyment of my stay. Opal Grand Resort truly offers an unparalleled experience in luxury and comfort. Highly recommended! Also want to say a big thank you to Michael Alvarez at the check in desk he was exceptional! He took great care of us & made sure we were comfortable our entire stay . Me and my husband will definitely be back!

The hotel is lovely & the staff is incredibly accommodating. We particularly enjoyed our lively waitress Jodi at breakfast each morning. Her upbeat demeanor & friendly mannerism is delightful. We had a wonderful stay & will definitely return.

Nice looking hotel. Enjoyed pool area & pool staff. Nice coffee shop. Monkey Bar good to grab a drink. Very disappointed in Drift. Wouldn’t recommend with so many choices. Put our name in for 30 minute wait. 45 minutes later got spot at the bar. Never got a text table was ready. Service wasn’t good. Wouldn’t go back. It’s across from the beach so you cross the road. There was nothing in any emails or website info that I could find informing guests they have to pay $60/day for beach chairs. It’s through a 3rd party so you have to bring credit card to beach. Also you have to get towels at the pool. Warning you do you don’t have to go back for those items. $60 is substantial enough that if you’re comparing prices & want to be on the beach (most people who stay oceanfront do want to use the beach). So add $60 per day to your hotel cost

Great location with fantastic staff & service!! Shout out to Michael at the front desk, Jodi at the Monkey Bar, Adam & Sylvia at the pool . . . Friendly & attentive- really enjoyed our stay!!! Hope to come back sometime soon & do it all over again

We had planned to go in April but had to cancel which we did weeks in advance of our reservation. They apparently rebooked us for another room but never sent is a confirmation so I could let them know of their error. They have now billed me for a room that I never booked and never stayed in! The charge is over 2000$ and I have now had to escalate this to my credit card company. After bringing it to Opals attention I am getting the runaround. The Opal guest relations is terrible and I will never stay there again especially since now there are many great hotels in Del Ray to choose from.
