I had a problem with my visa when arriving at the airport so I was not able to left the customs/airport and I informed the hotel, and they refused to help me to cancel the reservation which was just for 1 night due to connecting flights. Then no support for the customers so will not consider this hotel for other occassiobs

There are not many types of breakfast, but it is not lost. Don't believe that the tour guide introduced to you at the front desk is expensive and pitted. Also don't stay on the 11th floor, it's hot. The picture is a city view, and the view of the breakfast

This is the second time staying at this hotel , it’s a good clean place to stay with a certain charm . I think it’s run by a French family. Convenient location and a nice restaurant on the roof for dinners, I highly recommend this place

The reception building is above the ground, the guest rooms are below the ground, and the sea view room is developed on the cliff. There are airport buses that run every 2 hours. But it's not free. One bus costs 20,000 West African CFA francs, and the other 35,000. We leave at 5 o'clock and drive to the international airport for one hour. I don't know how much it costs to get to the airport. Turn right out of the gate 100 meters and there is a shopping center with a market operation inside, and there are boxed lunches and grilled chicken for sale.

Just awesome!! From the moment you arrive at the doorstep to the moment your bags are put in the trunk of the taxi we experienced the highest level of hospitallity possible! This stunning hotel will take you breath once you walk through the lobby to the perfect room with an amazing seaview. During our 6 day stay we enjoyed the private beach and sensational swimming pool, the perfect service at the beach & pool and the terrace. Lunch and dinner at the restaurants, in particular the Terrace Restaurant, are excellent. Fine dining while enjoying an wonderful view over the beach and Atlantic ocean. And above all, a bonus for people like us who like to fight the blue marlin and big tuna. Terrou Bi Marina got two magnificent fishing boats moored. Twin Soul and Born Free are available for a great day at the ocean. The professional crew, outstanding service and high quality fishing gear made our fishing trips, trips to remember! The staff at Terrou Bi, from the doorman to the manager are the kindest people you can imagine. They assisted us during our stay in every way possible. From getting nasal spray to booking a trip to Goree, the slave island in front of Dakar. Without a doubt a perfect place for those who seek a week of relaxing and welness. And for those who like to fish, winter time is the best time to get hooked to a marlin or monster tuna! Terrou Bi Resort Dakar! Thank you for an absolute perfect holiday! We were blown away by how nice this place was – a veritable oasis in a busy, noisy city. Very trendy and modern with a laid back vibe and African feel. The location in Ngor is great, close to many points of interest, with lots of restaurants and convenience stores located within about 5-minutes walk. The hotel staff were all great, very friendly and welcoming with good English. The rooms are all individual chalets with private courtyards set in African gardens – plenty of privacy. Our room was spacious and modern with all the amenities you’d expect – AC, coffee maker, fridge, TV, hairdryer, etc. The Wifi internet was super fast and we enjoyed the complimentary nuts and coconut cakes. Great bathroom/shower, plenty of space. Everything was clean, comfortable, and quiet. We were surprised to find a relatively well-equipped gym on site, complete with 3 good-quality cardio machines (elliptical, bike, & treadmill), a small selection of dumbbells, and a plate-loaded multigym/safety rack. Also a few benches and other odds and ends. We had some great workouts here. The pool and restaurant are very attractive and trendy. We enjoyed our excellent daily poolside a la carte breakfasts, and ate an evening meal here as well – excellent burgers! There are a few friendly felines roaming the property as well. Overall we had an amazing stay and can’t really find anything negative to say. We would love to stay here again and recommend it to other travelers.

I stayed at this hotel solo for my birthday trip. The hotel wasn't worth the price. It was decent but nothing spectacular. The biggest downfall was, i had NO WIFI for days. I reported it and had multiple failed attempts to fix it. It was eventually fixed about the day before i left. At one point they wanted to change my bungalow but it was almost the end of my trip and packing to move would've been a headache so i didn't move. Management also offered me a free night stay, which NEVER happened, i paid the full price. They promised to reach out but its been almost 2 months and i haven't heard anything. The dinner was good, i enjoyed the whole fish. I didn't make it to the nightclub but i did enjoy a live band at the pool area. The guys at the bar were nice and there was a sweet lady at the first desk (forgot her name), i appreciate her for trying to help me. Some staff understand English well so communicating wasn't hard. The rooms are cool, i liked the showers. I would tell you there was some type of animal that came and pooped in my room everydayyyyy. Im just happy i never saw it and only saw the droppings on the floor. Overall it was ok but when i visit Senegal again i probably wouldn't stay there.

I was skeptical at first after reading the bad reviews/comments. But this hotel surprised me! I stayed on the 3rd floor, in one of the renovated rooms. Shower was great, (after i figured out how to close the door!). Toilets are equipped with a bidet, hairdryer, iron and toiletries available (shower gel, shampoo, lotion - not the greatest quality though). Though there is a language barrier, the staff are friendly, and super helpful. Few minor issues: (1) Intermittent wifi connectivity on the 3rd floor (consider purchasing an esim, I purchased from Airalo). (2) ATM did not work for a few days. (3) traffic is a nightmare. Regarding the traffic (seems like a general dakar issue), Blaise Diagne International Airport, is about 60km away, however the trip to the hotel took 2+ hours. Plan activities and travel with this in mind!
The environment is very good, the room facilities are a bit old

On the date of my arrival (May 20, 2024, at 8am) the receptionist who attended to me was rude, rude, unavailable and very aggressive. She did not provide me with information regarding access to the room, she refused to insist on my payment via Visa credit card, she refused to clearly write her name so that I could report her bad behavior. The room I stayed in did not correspond to my reservation instructions through HRS (from the World Bank), it did not have a view of the sea or pool. The mattress was extremely soft, without comfort, which prevented me from sleeping well, I needed a more rigid/orthopedic mattress, as I was at work and it is very important to be able to rest well and wake up without back pain. It was not a pleasant experience at all.

Well, there seems to be no relation to the price you pay versus what you get at this property. It never felt like a particularly good value to me, the rooms are a bit old and there seems to be nothing interesting aside from a small market that is particularly interesting nearby. The photos I see emphasize the food, which seemed acceptable to me, but no more. While I have no specific complaints about this hotel, I can't say that they tried particularly hard to make me want to come back either.

The hotel is surrounded by the sea on three sides, and it is very good for vacation and leisure. You can see the sun rising on the Atlantic Ocean... There are a lot of eagles here. Whether hovering, swooping or perching, eagles will make you remember them with a special call. The service is very good, the breakfast provided by the hotel is very good, the pool is also very good, the service is great

Beds lasher and comfortable. The staff were very friendly and helpful especially for us Anglophile’s. They were bilingual and sorted out any issue. In particular Oumy of conference services and Oureye at front desk

We chose this hotel due to reviews here and the location in Dakar. Having traveled in various African countries it sounded like a good deal. We arrived after busy working days in Senegal (for my wife) and Burkina Faso (for me) in the Oceanic. So we needed some calm and quiet and thought - since the hotel is away from the main streets - this would be alright. It was a Thursday night during the Football World Cup 2022 - we would have expected some noise, but since all the games had ended at 21:00 - the night should be calm and quiet. We had some food outside and arrived for the night at about 23:00 with a tremendous noise. - ”oh, it's just the neighbours, they will stop at midnight” - that's what we were told at the reception - this happens every Thursday - apparently. Now if you check my pictures - you can see there is absolutely no noise canceling in the rooms - neither the door, nor the window keeps even a whisper outside - but especially no bass from a 200.000W Karaoke machine. So - incredible noise until about 00:15 - then slowly but steadily the noise went ... We were told this only happens on Thursday - so we left Dakar on Saturday for a tour and decided to give the hotel another go for two nights on our return to Dakar before we headed back home. Big mistake. We arrived back on a Tuesday about a week later. After a long trip all through Senegal - again - for some quiet winding down. And then it started - Tuesday night - Metallica in your room - I am serious - even if I raised my computer volume or the TV volume to the max - no way it could be louder than the noise that entered from the neighbours. Incredible. 22.00 - the receptionist went over to the restaurant and asked them to turn the music down - result: the music volume in the room went down from Metallica, let's say to Johnny Hallyday. So I went down again at 23.00 and asked the reception to go over there again, to call the owner, the police or to find us another room. Now the nightmare starts. The receptionist was repectless and told me to find a new hotel - if I am not happy with my room and the noise. He will not call the police - and the owner already called the neighbours - everyone helpless - as we found out. I stayed at the reception until 00.15 - the music was still going strong - we were offered nothing - they were helpless and the receptionist rude (he never came back to say he was sorry, neither did the owner encourage that - since we met him again the following night - he barely looked at me). The next morning the owner of the hotel came to explain to us, that there is a political issue and that he can not do anything about the noise. The police will not do anything (that is what he was telling us) that's why he will never call them. Well - if you never try, you never know, as Coldplay said. He told us that they had an agreement, that there will only be noise on Thursdays - we saw how that agreement worked out... And what an agreement that is - I guess that should be
