Virtually every aspect of my experience was great. Some of the guest service and restaurant staff are outstanding. I was there for the launch of the new fall menu - and there are several new items that I tried, that I really enjoyed. Restaurant servers are friendly, efficient and knowledgable about both wine and food. It's a treat to sit out on their veranda (covered and open - plus lawn/patio for drinks, light meal, etc.

I had to drive to Maine to handle my Aunt's estate after her passing. I arrived late (9:40PM). Their office closes at 5:00PM, so I got my key, etc. from the night box. I was given room #316. Walking up the stairs to my room, there was sand, debris and huge clumps of hair in the stairwell. The room felt damp as there was nothing more than a window shaker for A/C and the door wouldn't shut properly without force. I attempted to plug in my laptop and chargers, but half of the outlets in the room were so loose, I could not charge anything. I finally gave up and tried to go to bed. Granted, I am 6'4” , 260 pounds, but the bed had no box spring so when I laid down, the bed basically sank to the floor. I booked a three night stay through *******, but chose to check out the next morning. This place is gross and buyer beware as ******* told me they cannot refund my money because I didn't take pictures of the conditions.

The American breakfast is not bad, the room is not too big for an extra bed, there is a multi-storey car park next to the hotel, and there is a valet parking service at the hotel.
