Starting with a private boat ride to the hotel is a great way to get there. The location is close to the iconic rialto bridge. When you get in you get a quick explanation of the history and background of the building and it's (former) owners. It has limited number of rooms that are fully equipped and modern by every standard, super quiet airco/heater, high end tv with apple tv, free bar in room, etc. All of which you would expect for the price tag. The location is perfect and if you don't know it and want to reach it by walking, good luck in finding the entrance! Unfortunately the wellness was closed due to Covid. The staff is very helpful and attentive in general. The breakfast was great, you ask what you want and they serve it. The view from the breakfast room was amazing, the chairs for a 5 foot 6 inch (197 cm) are a little challenge, it is like sitting in an old 911! We tried to get lunch and after an initial glitch were able to get the dinner menu. We also tried dinner and were taking the recommendation of the chef, which was the only point we weren't impressed about. Overall i have to say it is worth a short stay to explore the town, and also enjoy this magical place!

Arriving for long-awaited dinner in a rainy September 2021 night. We seeked for that super romantic George & Amal (they married here) Venetian experience. Entering the building, a friendly staff took off our umbrellas and kindly explained us the way to the restaurant. No effort to accompany us to the table. No nice small talk. Arrived at the spectacular dining hall we were lost again. Nobody welcomed us. No specific table was reserved. Well, we had two options. But wouldn’t it be nicer to have a suggestion made by the venue? The quality of the food was high, it tasted delicious. The wine very good. No gourmet firework though - which we didn’t expected taking the relative moderate prices into account. The waiter was friendly as well. Casual. Started a conversation about his doubts about the applicable Corona rules. It was truly meant positive and as a conversation starter, but it wasn’t. My underlying point is: I couldn’t feel almost none heartful and true spirit of hospitality (man, I’m in Italy. The heart of warmths) No flowers. No uplifting jokes. No connection to staff or the heritage of that very unique Palazzo (when we left the venue, we were lost again for minutes in the lobby until the friendly staff from the beginning handed over the umbrella. Her colleague at the reception was on the phone. We seemed to be an extra effort for him). Compared to other European luxurious hotels (Bayerischer Hof Munich, George V Paris) this was a very disappointing experience. When we left, I gave directly feedback. She received it very professionally. Again, I missed something real and human in it. Best experience were the very charming men at the very beginning of our arrival. Helping us to find the entrance. They were fun and seemed to be themselves. Unfortunately, they were the only ones so that I will never come back.

The hotel is in an excellent location. Salute Station is definitely the first choice when entering Venice. It can be quiet and quiet. The hotel is next to the Dormition Church. The other side of the canal is St. Mark's Square. One stop is very convenient for shipping. But San Marco got on the boat directly, and the most important thing to carry luggage was to cross a small bridge with few steps. The design of the hotel is very new. Although only the beggar room is booked, the canal is not visible outside the window, but the area is not small. Breakfast can be eaten by the window. It is the same as breakfast. The hair dryer in the room is good, smooth and has a bathtub The shower room is a shallow basin and the water splashes easily. Booking was full at that time, and Ctrip was still very happy to book in early July. Although the price was not cheap, but after staying for 24 hours, I felt it was worth it, but when I checked in, the hotel informed me of the reservation information, but the hotel did not give the supplier Confirm the reply, if the room is full, hehe, what is this operation? The payment was also successfully deducted two days before check-in, although it was surprisingly safe, and I received an oversold message on the day of my arrival on the check-in. Let me contact Ctrip.

The hotel is very good, the two train stations directly to the taxi boat can go to the hotel's small dock. The hotel and the rooms are modern in style. The friend’s triple room can also see the dome next to the cathedral. The hotel also has a yacht that can take guests to the city centre and the glass island, which is superb.

Very luxurious property in Venice, with lots of beautiful touches in both the room and wider hotel which make it stand out. A traditional building with lots of contemporary twists. Everything felt fresh and newly decorated. The bar is also very special with dramatic decor. We really enjoyed our stay at the Nolinski in Venice and would thoroughly recommend. Not cheap - but more reasonably priced than some of the grand established hotels in Venice - we visited a couple for food/drinks and were underwhelmed.
The Nolinski Venezia is a fabulous 5 star hotel. It's located in a prime location near San Marco Square. The rooms are clean and comfortable, and the food is amazing! The staff is friendly and helpful. They carried our luggage all the way to and from the water taxis throughout our stay. A special thank you to Mirka for the room upgrade, and Elvice for putting up with my attempts to speak good Italian. I highly recommend this hotel.

There is no other hotel I am most satisfied with. I will definitely come again next time. The hotel has a rich breakfast, and a cup of 🥃 after dinner is comfortable ~ The decoration of the room is amazing, and you can make a blockbuster movie in minutes.

This is a hotel with a profound artistic background. The entrance of the hotel is not too big, and there are surprises everywhere after entering. It is especially suitable for taking pictures and punching cards. The service is also very good. I came in winter, and the room is very warm. I can see the entire lagoon from the balcony. The location Excellent. An extra bed is available. It was already 22:00 when I checked in. I came to the hotel restaurant with the mentality of giving it a try. I didn’t expect the most amazing thing to be the upstairs restaurant. This is the most formal Italian restaurant in Europe. Eat Serving a dish with a set of tableware is too particular. It was great to have a great foie gras, the beauty of the dessert and the rich flavors. The buffet breakfast the next morning was even more unexpected. Not to mention the top-notch view, the rich and delicious breakfast is also top-notch. The location is very close to the Bridge of Sighs. St. Mark's Square is so beautiful, and the products in the nearby shops are also very good. 80 euros to sit on the gondola, it is worth it! Take a water taxi from the hotel to the airport, 130 Euros and board the boat directly from the side door of the hotel lobby, which is very convenient. When I came to the hotel, I didn’t understand. I took the water bus, 15 euros per person. The bus stopped when it saw the station. The boat was full of people. It took an hour to get to the St. Mark’s Square station. I got off the boat and walked 300 meters with my suitcase. After about 10 meters, we crossed the Bridge of Sighs and arrived at the hotel. It's not very convenient. If you take a water taxi for 130 Euros from the airport, you can go directly to the side entrance of the hotel lobby in 20 minutes.

For the first time staying at this hotel, the facilities are relatively simple, but the environment, service and hygiene are very good. Especially when I left the Apple X mobile phone at the hotel when I left the store, I remembered asking my daughter to contact the hotel before I boarded the plane. When I was transferring, the hotel told the mobile phone to find it. The key is that the photos I take on the trip are all on my phone, otherwise it will be a pity. Thank you for your honest service, if you will stay at this hotel next time.

Londra Palace review This was the absolute perfect choice for our stay after arriving on The Orient Express celebrating our Ruby Anniversary. We love high quality and excellent service but do not like fuss. The balance at this beautiful hotel is perfect. Staff are sufficiently attentive in a professional and friendly manner without being intrusive. The lounges, bar and dining areas both inside and out are beautifully presented and kept. Location of the property is excellent although the fact that ‘market stalls’ are allowed to pitch right in front does somewhat spoil the enjoyment of the view across the lagoon from street level. It is also an exceptionally busy thoroughfare for tourists walking to and from main attractions in Piazza San Marco. We actually found this entertaining as we people watched whilst enjoying our afternoon cocktails. We ate a number of times at the restaurant including one evening enjoying the Altana experience which is one I would thoroughly recommend. The food served is outstanding at all meals. Choices for breakfast were excellent and the daily cakes and breads delicious. Quality of produce, skill in menu planning and food preparation for fine dining was all outstanding. There were some very different and creative choices available with each course feeling like a mini culinary adventure. Waiting staff always presented dishes with aplomb and respect to the food on the plate. A superb selection of wines to complement the meal rounded off the experience. Our room was perfect for our needs being both exceptionally clean and most elegantly decorated. It was superbly quiet (when windows were closed) despite the cacophony of Venetian life going on below. The room we chose did not have a balcony so we had to stand at the window to enjoy our view but the weather was so extremely hot whilst we were there that we would have kept the balcony doors shut (as we did our windows) most of the time to keep our room cool anyway. The bed was superbly comfortable and the pillows perfect. Fabulous coffee from the machine in our room. Housekeeping staff were delightful and did a most excellent job every day. We really loved our whole stay and the Londra Palace will be our first choice next time we are fortunate enough to visit Venice
It is ideally located 5 minutes walk from the Government House and 5-8 minutes walk from St. Mark's Square. There is a water bus stop at the entrance of the hotel, as well as a water taxi stop, which is very convenient to go to any island in Venice. Breakfast is average, but it is delicious. The hotel takes a water taxi to Venice Marco Polo Airport for 120 Euros.

The location of this hotel is great no complaints about it, the stuff is nice friendly and helpful too. The room itself is old without anything other than beds cardboard and a very old school hair dryer. I don’t know why but they don’t even have something to hang the toilet paper which is pretty funny. The 1st day the housekeeper was good we came back to a nicely cleaned room, the 2nd day was like the housekeeper just did what the eyes can see they never even clear away the old towels and all. If a short stay for the location it’s alright but as a 4 star hotel I have no idea how they got it.

The location of the hotel is very good, turn left when you go out to Marco Polo Square. The service is commendable, all kinds of toiletries are replenished in a timely manner, and the turndown service is also good. The breakfast room is very nice, but the taste is not good. In addition, the big bed is actually made of two mattresses? Is there such a rule?

The location of the hotel is next to St. Mark's Square, which is convenient for sightseeing. The shower in the room should stand in the bathtub, which is easy to fall in and out, which is a potential risk for older people.

Wow, what a room with a view. Stayed with my wife in a Suite for 2 nights overlooking the Rialto Bridge. I spent what time I had in the hotel peering out at the Grand Canal and the wonderful views. The staff were great and organised our transfers from the airport in a water taxi and another from the hotel to the train station. Loved every second of the beautiful room.

This hotel is quirky, beautiful and very comfortable. The staff were accomodating and vey helpful. We stayed 3 nights and were looked after superbly. The breakfast had multiple choices and the presentation and service was impeccable. Our room had everything we needed including tea and coffee, bath robes and slippers. The TV service and WiFi were great.

Had a 2 night stay booked in the Hilton Stucky, in a Club room, Venice. Arrived at 11am as we just came off a cruise. Unable to check in till 3pm which was unfortunate. Got access to the executive lounge and to say I was disappointed is an understatement, looks like a corridor off the main lounge, as there was no solid divider the noise was too much, have used Hilton brand around the world and as a past Diamond member, was left disappointed with this one. After checking in at 3pm we went to the room, 3rd floor, take something to leave a trail as there are many corridors to navigate to get to the room. The suit was large and tidy, but overall it looked dated & tiered Plenty storage Bathroom was large with Bath & shower, problems with them draining. Also a lot of mould in shower Not that I watch a lot of Tv, but only 3 English channels, 2 news programs Take plenty of bug spray, as lots of bugs in the hotel and they bite a lot Good shuttle into St Marks, every 30mins, only takes 39 pax at a time, so beware at busy times. Never ate in the hotel, so cannot comment. Sky bar gives excellent views over Venice and bar staff very friendly. Does get busy

Excellent hotel in Venice, this near the Santa Lucia train terminal, the facilities are of first, modern, but with that Venetian touch that can not miss, I touch in the room with view of the channel, the attention is excellent, The hotel has a very comfortable and pleasant breakfast terrace and a 2km walk from San Marcos Square, a very pleasant walk through the very picturesque streets, shops and restaurants.

Hotel Principe is located strategically near the train station and grand canal. We spent 2 nights here recently and were upgraded to grand canal view room, thanks a lot! The room was clean, bed is comfortable and view is amazing. Room is also quiet once window is closed, even though facing the grand canal. Bathroom is big and clean, however there’s no sinkhole in the bathroom which ia very weird, and create problem when water splashed out when we are showering (which definitely will happen) so this need to be fixed. Breakfast selections and quality were alright, we like the freshly made pancake machine. Overall, this hotel is recommended if you’re planning to stay in Venice.

I was very worried before I arrived because of the mixed reviews, so I was pleasantly surprised when I arrived. Rooms are clean. The location was great as it's only a few minutes walk from the railway station, and it's right next to the canal. However, breakfast was interesting as we were surrounded by aggressive bees and birds which were ready to steal your food anytime. Staffs were helpful. Special thanks to the waitress who helped calm my daughter when she was stung by a bee.

A perfect little gem… We Stayed here for 5 nights and what a wonderful little hotel that we found and we’re lucky to have stayed at. The location of the hotel opposite the main train station with the bus station just a 5 minute walk was fantastic. From the air conditioning, to the showers that worked perfectly, to the beds that were so comfortable after a day of site seeing pounding the streets. We really had an enjoyable stay whilst celebrating our 10 year wedding anniversary and cannot thank each and everyone of the staff enough, they were professional, friendly, courteous, helpful, I could go on and on. an excellent hotel with excellent service. We had 5 rooms reserved at the hotel. We left the hotel to go to Ravenna via the trains. We left our Apple air pods in of one the rooms. The gentleman from the front desk (morning shift - sorry I don’t remember his name) on his own walked over the train station, tracked us down and surprised us to give us the air pods. I travel a lot and have never seen such exceptional service. Literally, because of his level of exceptional service from when we checked in to now, we decided to change our hotels (when we return from the cruise) to stay again at The Carlton because of his above and beyond attitude. Thank you for your hospitality and outstanding experience from the point of when we first checked in.

Disappointed by the level of service and outdated hotel. For that very pricy 4 stars hotel, I would have appreciated a higher level.. the staff was not particularly friendly neither helpful. The room was very dark with casi no natural light, not renovated like the booking picture. The bathtub was broken, they send someone that didn’t care of it and said it was indeed broken, reception didn’t propose anything in exchange. I ended up trying to fix myself for 1/2h. Bit sad.. also the Jacuzzi/public bath or gym are not accessible for free. You have to pay and book ahead.. you would imagine it’s included in the price. Positive side: very well located in the center, in the main luxury street, explain the price I guess? The rooftop is really the highlight with beautiful sunset, where we drunk our complementary bottle. The breakfast is really good, one of the best so far. Will not come back, not worthy.

Great location, need a refresh, very dated and tired looking decorations. Told front desk my air fin was not working , they were to send someone but no one came, extractor fan in bath room not working. They don’t seem to have checks in place to improve their customer stay experience , rather a reactive approach to fixing things. Cleaners could easily check facilities and report and malfunctions as customers don’t always provide feedback.

We arrived via Water taxi directly from the airport to the Canel Grande's private jetty and drinks balcony. If you can afford the €130 25 minutes journey, and are new to the city like us, it's amazing introduction. We felt quite the film stars! Our welcome was incredible. We got to the hotel very early - 9ish and our room wasn't ready, only to be expected. So we dropped our bags off and headed off to explore and get lost in Venice for the first and not the last time over the next 4 days we were there. Thank heavens for Google maps! Coming back around midday our room was still not ready, which gave us the opportunity to drink Aperol Spritz - the drink of Venice on the Hotels balcony while watching the water traffic on the Grand Canal by. Mesmerising... When our room was ready our baggage already there, along with a bottle of prosecco on ice, and hand written note wishing us a happy 35th wedding anniversary. We chose a room without a view which not only saved money, but made us go out and enjoy the city. The hotel has plenty of seating outside and in to enjoy the view anyway. It's is in a cul-de-sac, that makes it feel very private, as few people go down it. The room are in the Italianate Baroque style. Very clean and comfortable. The staff are impeccable, friendly, informed and helpful. It felt like a happy place to work. Note: Due to the small seating area inside, the excellent breakfast needs to be booked. The number 1 canal bus, a 3 minute walk from the hotel that takes you directly to San Marco Square. We only once asked for restaurant recommendation (La Patatina). This was the best of the best of meals we had in Venice. But at wine starting at €32 a bottle, expect a bill of around €110 for 2. From The Hotel is a marvel, we loved every moment were there. Over 3 days we walked over 25 miles, of this grand and historic city, saw great works of art in several museums and churches but missed much more. So, will we go back? Definitely. And Canal Hotel is where we will stay!

Venice City Center Venice|0.72km from city center
We were quoted by the hostel website a €66 per night stay excluding the city tax but the final price was just worked out to favour the hotel. We had payed a €15 deposit prior to the stay and after checking reviews upon arrival we decided it was best to get a firm idea of the price right away. At this time I was quoted a price of €141 for 2 nights including the city tax (€4) and I decided to double check that this was taking into account the deposit. The manager (I think) got very short and explained he had already said this but I was just unable to decipher his grumbles and had asked for clarification. So I accepted that after adding the deposit it was going to be €76 euro instead of €66 but for 2 nights I was just going to accept this as we didn’t have much other choice and just wanted to enjoy Venice and if we decided to we [could discuss the bill at the end of the stay. Skip to check out time and we were told the the price was €141 and that he had to now add on the city tax of €4 (different to what he had said before of 141 including the tax) another small increase but we had a bus to catch so didn’t have much choice but to pay. So ending up paying €78 per night ex. tax which is okay if the hotel is of good quality, it was not. The manager was smoking at the reception desk but not a huge deal as we were staying across the street. Got into our building and it had a very unusual not that pleasant smell but we got used to it. Went to use our shared toilet (booked a shared toilet) and stepped on the open drain which was covered by a bath mat. The shower has really great pressure though so that’s a plus. The room had no air con as expected but somehow was hotter than outside. If you book a 1 star hotel you get a 1 star room and we weren’t surprised in that respect but we were supplied with an anti mosquito plug-in with enough tablets to last our stay. A very out dated room but again a 1 star hotel so we weren’t surprised. Not made to feel welcome by the man behind the desk (maybe manager) but he was in a very good mood when receiving payment. The experience start to finish made us feel that the hotel was run without a care for the quality and just a transaction (maybe a bit of a con with the price bumps).
