Excellent hotel, central in Georgetown. Superb service, top-notch fitness facility, very good restaurant. All the staff at the Four Seasons are super friendly and helpful. Rooms super quiet and very well appointed. I was happy to be upgraded and was able to use my Trip Coins to slightly lower the cost. Hope to be back again!

The four seasons maintain a consistently high quality service level. Every employee has a sincere smile. It is located at the end of the bustling street of Georgetown. It is very convenient to eat and go shopping. The beds in the four seasons are the most comfortable.

To celebrate our anniversary we were not able to travel this year, so we had a staycation at the Ritz Carlton in Georgetown. The hotel is hiding in plain site. The brick theme from outside continues inside. The accomodations were luxurious from the furniture to the bed to the huge bathroom. The casual restaurant had great food with very friendly staff. The location in Georgetown was my a short walk from dining, shopping and entertainment. Luxury costs but we felt it was worth it considering we had not flown anywhere this year.

The Ritz never fails to when it comes to luxury accommodations and a staff that meets your every needs. I had the opportunity to visit this hotel and the staff was so kind and attentive. In addition the room was well appointment and comfortable. Also a great location close to dining and Foggy Bottom!

The room is good, it feels that the service does not match the hardware of the hotel, it seems that their front desk is more enthusiastic to serve whites! The small refrigerator is still locked, it is speechless, and I have lived in many high-end hotels. This situation is unique... Overall, the experience is not so good, it needs to be improved, there is no coffee machine in the room, the front desk says that the lobby is always available. However, after the first day of drinking, there was no more 😓😓😓😓😓 friends lived next to Hyatt, which is a good price.

Very good front desk service, room service is average. Free bed for children under 12 years old. The room is very good, the location is in downtown. Walk to the White House for about 10 minutes. Can stay at this price, quite satisfied!

The Rosewood was an absolute treat and I loved every second of my stay. I felt a world away from the city while being central to a beloved neighborhood. Everyone I interacted with was so friendly and welcoming. The doormen, the front desk, the managers, and all other staff were wonderful. The Rosewood has a small, well-appointed sitting room next to reception that smells amazing and offers coffee. The gym and pool are located on the roof, along with the rooftop bar, CUT Above. The rooftop views are great, though I sadly did not make it to CUT Above. My room was fantastic and I never wanted to leave. I basically locked myself in it for my stay, leaving only for a visit to CUT (the hotel's delicious restaurant) and venturing out for breakfast. I love that the rooms have a vanity to do your makeup, though the mirror is a bit too low. The bed was supremely comfortable. But the bathroom is what really stands out. It was huge, with a gorgeous tub and lovely rainfall shower. I barely left the tub and shower. Everything was immaculately clean. This was my first stay at a Rosewood property and it will not be my last. The attention to detail, service, and ambiance were absolutely perfect.

The DC Rosewood provided us was a fantastic weekend get away. The hotel is located right off the main street in Georgetown, with close proximity to shopping and restaurants. The hotel has a cozy library room and intimate feeling restaurant and bar area. The food, for dinner (CUT) or breakfast is top notch. The rooftop is lovely and a nice place to have snacks or a drink, or to take advantage of the indoor/outdoor heated pool. We were upgraded to an incredible Townhouse- the property has about 10 of them right next door to the main hotel building. We enjoyed the massive, clean, and very well decorated space, a kitchen and even a fireplace- making it perfect for a rainy afternoon inside! Staff was attentive and onsite valet parking is available. We are looking forward to coming back! Be sure to take advantage of AmEx Platinum benefits- $100 F&B credit, included breakfast, and extended check in/outs!

The Pendry Washington DC is a whole vibe. I got upgraded to a Deluxe River One Bedroom Suite. The lady who checked me in was very friendly and accommodating. She set up reservations for me that evening at the rooftop bar, Moonraker. It was beautiful. The room was very nice, and I LOVED the view. I loved the robe so much that I thought about purchasing one. Slippers would have taken it to the next level. I really liked The Bar Pendry too. Flora Flora for breakfast was a NO. Unfortunately, the eggs were not prepared as I requested. The waiter said they would redo them, but we never received them. We did room service the following morning, and that order was mostly wrong too. You all have to get the food together. The hotel is too pricey for mediocre/lousy food. All of the hotel staff I ran into were so friendly.

We had the opportunity to film at the St. Regis Washington, D.C. location and the hotel’s staff could not have more accommodating to our needs from Joe who made our transporting of the production equipment in and out effortless to Robert who inherited our last minute requests with impressive patience to Kaitland whom we never met in person but who was spearheading the team to see that our needs were met and last but certainly not least, Cortnie, Director of Catering and Events. With that title you know she’s an incredibly busy lady but she found time for us and gave us the freedom to complete the filming as we had hoped with clear trust in our ability to handle the room on our own. The whole experience was top rate. Thank you to all the staff.

This is my first time back at 16 & K since it was renovated and I look forward to the shabby old hotel now reaching the level of St. Regis. Sadly, not so. Let’s talk about the good things first the hall is sociable, gorgeous, and gives the impression that a manipulative political official has stayed here before, but if you don’t have to pay for the star, you’ll appreciate that, honestly, you’re having a lot of a bit of history in Washington DC. There will be that feeling in the store. Another advantage, the staff is very attentive, friendly and hopefully please you. The real downside is the accommodation. The room is small and stuffy, and the decoration is annoying. Everything feels old, although I don't think so. I am a gold card consumer of SPG so I got an upgraded room but at the end of my stay I was still desperate to move out. I didn’t want this to happen. Next time I’m going back to the new Washington Hotel W.

In summary it’s a pleasant, very well-located hotel, and FOH staff work hard to keep customers happy. But poor fit and finish in rooms, chaotic housekeeping, billing issues, and slow customer support aren’t in keeping with the luxury positioning. In depth: Reception staff were superb: friendly, helpful, professional, and a surprise upgrade to a suite was most welcome. The restaurant is also very good and its staff, while occasionally overattentive, do a good job. Location couldn’t be much better for easy walks to a plethora of DC’s sights, museums, restaurants, shops, and transport. The rooms lack a luxury look and feel. They’re spacious and afford impressive views, but blandly and sp****ly furnished in a way that feels very cost conscious. Sound insulation is poor, to the extent that conversations and TVs in neighbouring rooms are clearly audible, as is street noise during peak times. Water pressure is extremely low, so the rain shower is rather more like soft drizzle . As with other Hilton hotels since the pandemic, there’s no minibar, no menus, no guest directory. It all feels rather spartan. Housekeeping is poor. Carpets and soft furnishings seemed grubby. The sofa, in particular, had several stains that looked like they could be removed if anyone cared to try. Clean glasses placed in the room had lip marks on the rim. Our coffee supplies were often not replenished. The second time we mentioned it, on returning to our room, we found two plastic bags stuffed with coffee, sugar, and cream dumped on the table — a distinct “here, stop bothering us” vibe. The breakfast, though very nice, is costly if you’re not getting the Food & Beverage Credit. There’s no end of alternatives nearby. There’s an obligatory 25% tip plus $5 delivery on room service. Laundry costs are such that I found it more cost effective to simply buy some extra clothes. Finally, our Food & Beverage Credit wasn’t applied to our bill. Hilton don’t answer replies to your receipt, so you have to fuss with corporate contact centres, chatbots and web forms. Took nearly a week to get a response, though to their credit they cleared our food bill as a goodwill gesture.

Considering the fact, that it is one of the Conrad hotels in USA and lets be honest, Americans know very little about how to make a great hotel, it is OK facility, but some key things missing. Where on earth a 5star world class hotel like Conrad Washington is, has no pool and no spa area ? Well, here in Washington. I was quite surprised with a simple answer from the staff ”sorry we dont have those things here”. What the hell ? So why 5 star in a first place ? ____ The whole building is beautiful, restaurant OK, food tasty, with a nice view. Rooms average considering necessary 5 star quality and attention to detail. Design and displacement of the bathroom is horrible ! No walk-in shower, small sink, old fashioned faucet. So why 3 stars ? At leat 2 of them go to SAKURA club and its staff. I enjoyed this lounge so much and extra 170 USD per day is quite reasonable considering what you get. Worth every penny any we really enjoyed it so much. But in the end, the price is not justified and parking 60 USD per night plus tax - that is a rip-off.

I've always wanted to stay at the Jefferson Hotel, and I'm glad we did. The location is excellent, not far from the White House and other sights. The building is very pretty, especially in the immaculately kept common areas. The staff are nonpareil! So helpful, all of them, from housekeeping to the concierge to the front-desk staff to the doormen, and all. The concierge (who also manned the front desk sometimes) and the lady who checked us in gave us a nice restaurant recommendation for Le Diplomate, which we really enjoyed. They gave us help at every turn, too many times to list. The room service at the hotel was very nice indeed, too. We had a breakfast and a dinner, and it was really superb. The dinner had a spectacular hamburger, a salmon tartare, and for dessert, a cranberry-cherry fruit crumble that we thought was out of this world. The truffle mac and cheese was wonderful too. We're very grateful to this hotel for our experience there, and we look forward to returning when next we come to DC!

What an amazing place to stay. We were treated like family. It was like our own little flat - not a typical hotel experience. They service was the best we have experienced and we have traveled all over the world for the past 30 years. It was our anniversary and they provided chocolate covered strawberries and flowers! They always went the extra mile. We had food delivered and ate at the two in house restaurants - all great experiences. Loved our time with the Jefferson Family and will always stay with them when in the DC area!

So, I booked this hotel when it was the Mandarin Oriental, and before I stayed it was taken over by Salamander. Honestly, other than a few slapdash items that said Salamander, you wouldn't have really known based on the ”stuff” around that this was anything other than a MO. That said, check in took 20 minutes, which is way too long for an average Monday evening. The room was fine, though no real ammenities in there (sure there was a robe and some unstamped slippers, but eh), the gym was fine, but no water anywhere on the floor nor any attendant to point out where to put used towels (no basket in the gym or outside area). The TV in my room also said ”This room has been checked out” from the minute I arrived until I left. I was able to change to normal channels, but that lack of detail that shouldn't exist at this price range. One other oddity - when I was going to my room (9th floor), there was a random chair in an otherwise empty hallway that had a different large man sitting in it each time I passed. Not sure if something was going on in one of the rooms or if they were some sort of private security, but it felt weird, to be totally honest. This is a great hotel location (near the Wharf) and it is unquestionably a really really nice hotel, but there are certainly some growing pains. I'd expect once they fix those, it'll be a really nice place to stay.

We so enjoyed our stay! From the beginning greeting by Aila, then throughout our stay, was exceptional. Awtash in the dining room was lovely! Ignacio, the Food and Beverage Manager was sincere and top notch also. Everyone was wonderful even though I cannot name them! We loved our suite with balcony! This was an exquisite stay!!

We enjoyed a very special anniversary night at The Willard Intercontinental. I’ve lived in Washington DC for more than 30 years, but like most natives have rarely taken a vacation in my home town. I’ve always been fascinated by the long and storied history of The Willard, but never experienced it first-hand. I booked a regular one bedroom suite for my husband and I to celebrate our fifth anniversary. The Willard Intercontinental is dog-friendly, so we brought our dog with us to celebrate. A couple of days before checking in, I discovered through the IHG app that we were being upgraded to the Abraham Lincoln Suite. I am Intercontinental Ambassador and IHG Platinum Elite, but this upgrade exceeded all expectations. We arrived at the hotel and everyone was extremely friendly and helpful. The suite was very well-appointed and huge! We brought our own champagne and ordered a room service dinner up to our suite. The food was delicious, and not as expensive as we were expecting. The fact that this suite had a formal dining room, and a small catering kitchen made dining in the suite very convenient. After dinner we took our dog out for a walk to the Washington Monument and the White House….both only a 5-10 minute walk away. Thanks to everyone at The Willard Intercontinental for making our fifth anniversary so magical. We really appreciate it.

Okay I can see why J. Lo stays at this hotel. I chose this as a staycation due to the previous posts on here. As soon as I arrived at reception, Ramsey demonstrated the hotel's quality service by hooking it up with an upgrade to a junior suite. I was wearing a mask, but I know he saw my smile! The entire staff was very polite and accommodating. The food was SOOO good! After room service I ate even more (truffle mashed potatoes and risotto) at the Round Robin Bar. The only con was the spa was closed and I wasn't alerted to the fact earlier. I'd recommend scheduling a service beforehand. Also the fitness center is under renovation so I had to go next door. But not a big deal (and they have Peloton bikes and boxing speed bags so I got my Rocky on). On my way out I was thanked for my patronage. Smiles in and on the way out, thanks the Willard! I'll definitely be back at the bar for an Old Fashioned and truffle mashed potatoes! :)

My first room was ok until the lights started flickering and wouldn't turn off. The TV n remote then malfunctioned. So i went to the front desk and De'Angelo helped us. He sent a staff up top check it out. After thr engineer came up, he left to tell De'Angelo to switch or room. So they did, but only thing they had available was a downgraded room, so he put in some notes for us and got us comped a room with a balcony for out last night's stay. He and the night staff are excellent and he's only been here a short while. Now the day staff on other hand was terrible. Went t.i grint desk at 11 to inquire about our room upgrade, and was told it's being prepared, but we didn't get switched until about 4pm. We had an itinerary that we couldnt complete due to us waiting for our room switch. Also asked room service for 2 sets of silverware, and they brought them up about an hour and a half later, and also entered our room without notice while iwas in the shower. So when u come to the Watergate, your night experience will be way more enjoyable then dealing with day staff.

From the time Brysen handled the details of our check in until the time we checked out, our party (which had nine rooms for a weekend) was handled with thoughtfulness and care. The facility is beautiful and well kept. The location is wonderful and convenient to everything. However, the team working at the hotel made our weekend. They were gracious, welcoming and extended us every courtesy to help us to navigate a very busy weekend. Taxis to get us to the event? No problem. Room service with complicated orders? Done. Brysen even ran out to pick up an order for us when we unfortunately arrived during a time when the kitchen was closed. Literally going the extra mile. We were treated as honored guests and had a lovely time. Thanks to Lindsey for the no fuss checkout with so many details handled efficiently and politely. We will return happily to Sofitel DC on our next trip to DC.

The location is good, close to attractions, major buses and subway stations. The hotel room is also quite large, but I found that the soap was only given once and the bed sheets were not changed after staying for 5 consecutive days. However, the waiter did not accept tips in the following days. The hotel has parking, but the parking fee is quite expensive.

Dupont Circle Washington D.C.|0.88km from city center
On Monday, May 30, Memorial Day, I purchased two day passes to the Ven's Rooftop pool. It was great weather and the DC public pools were, for the most part, closed. Rather than spend 2k+ on a pool membership in the region (cannot afford that), my son and I have set a goal to hit as many hotel rooftop pools that offer daypasses. The Ven was a nice experience. So, I could totally recommend the one-off visit to the pool and to check out the views of DC. Totally fun to see the Dupont circle Metro stop glass roof (being repaired) and a number of other cool buildings. Always a plus-- my son didn't bring any devices, so he read books and lounged by the pool. It's not really a great lap swimming pool there at the Ven. But, I once had someone teach me how to ”Aqua-jog” and no one there made me feel like I was an idiot for doing that. The package supposedly includes the hotel's gym. But that's in the basement of the hotel. It felt like it was a little understaffed at the hotel and I didn't feel comfortable asking for access. Anyway, I was there for the pool. I also was not offered my ”canned cocktail of choice.” I could have demanded it, but the very sweet gentleman tending the pool food bar/drinks was on his third day, and was a little befuddled that I didn't have a room number to charge things to. HOWEVER, I will admit, I tipped the gentleman and he helped us manuever getting two loungers. THAT WAS WORTH IT. He was super helpful. It was crowded and I was not excited about spending the day there sitting on benches. I asked and 20 minutes later he helped us make it work. THANK YOU. So, for a one-off-- totally worth it! Will I pay a monthly membership fee. Maybe not. Unless people somehow hook me up very clearly with that air hockey table...

The hotel is huge and one of the more affordable one around DC. The aircon in the room is a little noisy but the operation guy came and says that’s the way it is. I asked for kettle to boil water and it came quite quickly though. There’s a usd20 surcharge per room per night but you can offset by meals in the hotel. The front desk also provides bottled water FOC upon request. Overall an ok stay.

Dupont Circle Washington D.C.|0.99km from city center
The location of the shop is not far from the Red Line subway Dupont station. There are small restaurants and bookstores next to the street. The hotel facilities are quite new and clean; the bedding is soft; the bathroom supplies daily in the room; the only thing that needs attention is the hot water and the conversion socket Fortunately, every morning there is hot coffee and water in the lobby, and newspapers are provided.

What an absolutely amazing stay in the nations capital. My room was incredibly clean and it was even quiet, considering that there was a rooftop bar with live music. I slept well. And, I’m really grateful that they are in such close proximity to a Walgreens, which is right on the corner. I travel often and often forget a thing or two or just need simple things like bottles of water (I drink half a gallon to a gallon per day). But I want to give a big huge shout out to the staff particularly Jessica, Michael and Chris. I was traveling with someone with dementia. We were in town for the Alzheimer’s Association ball. And, they truly treated my travel companion with kid gloves! The staff were considerate to her needs and patient with her every step of the way. I even accidentally left my jacket in the hotel room trying to take care of my friend and Jessica call me later on that day to let me know that she found it and that she would personally ship it out. This jacket is very personal and special to me and has quite a bit of sentimental value so I’m so incredibly grateful that I didn’t lose it and that it’s on the way back to me. This was a great stay, a great hotel! You feel safe in a big city and the café downstairs has some of the best coffee I’ve ever had in my life!

Foggy Bottom Washington D.C.|1.59km from city center
Close to Washington's main attractions, just north of the Lincoln Memorial, 15 minutes walk, within the Georgetown campus, the rooms are small, the facilities are neat, although the bunks, but It will not be a few days, and it will be there. There is a parking lot nearby to park, and it costs 21 US dollars a day. It is acceptable in a place like Washington. There is no breakfast in the hotel. Two streets are the Watergate Hotel and the office building. There are coffee shops and fast food restaurants in the sinking garden where you can have breakfast. It is also convenient.

I stayed in a shared room (females only), and this was perfect for me because I was only there for a couple nights and just needed a place to sleep since I was out all day long. The Generator checked all the boxes and I felt safe sharing my room. The red line is only minutes away and there are multiple buses that can take you wherever you need to be! Everyone was very helpful and kind.

We found our room to be very clean and comfortable. The air conditioner worked great. The shower had good pressure but it did take a while for the water to warm up. The hotel is located in a comfortable neighborhood and an easy walk to the Metro subway. We found several restaurants nearby with various choices of food. Overall we felt that we got a pretty nice room for the price.

The location of the hotel is good, and the facilities are relatively new. However, an Indian waitress at the front desk had a bad attitude and gave us a room opposite the elevator on the first floor. As a result, the room was very poorly soundproofed. She talked loudly when cleaning at 6 o'clock in the morning, and the floor fell off. The sound of each thing can be heard clearly, plus the noise of people taking the elevator early in the morning, it is really too noisy. Before going out at noon, I found the front desk and said that I wanted to change the room. At first, I said no, and then I was given a room on the second floor. The next day, I found that it was directly above the garbage room. The garbage was loaded and unloaded in the morning, and the air conditioner in the room was sounding like a tractor. Fortunately, it was not turned on when it was not hot at night. I was too lazy to negotiate with the front desk. I seriously suspected that it was targeting Chinese people!
