I recently went with a group. It was my first time at the hotel. All the staff were accommodating, and the hospitality was amazing. Our host, Khalil, was a true gentleman. He was determined to ensure our stay and experience were one we would remember. He was attentive to our needs and made recommendations of where we could go to eat and/or party. He made travel arrangements for us, too. The hotel staff were also lovely and paid attention to every detail. The rooms were cleaned, and the food was lovely. The pool servers were on hand to take our drink/food orders and provided us with towels. The security staff were friendly and all the staff greeted us with a smile. I'm recommending this to everyone because I had the best time!
The hotel staff was very friendly and assisted with every request. The hotel is massive and reminded me of a resort; lots to do, and great for your business trip if you need high-speed internet and room service. The room was above expectation, with a large balcony, overlooking the garden and ocean - Just amazing! The majority of the hotel staff knew English which made things much easier! I will be back.

We stayed in your hotel from 08/10 to 15/10/24. The hotel management is first-class, the waiters are very enthusiastic, the environment is beautiful, the hygiene is first-class, and the breakfast is very rich. We are very satisfied with living in such a hotel. I will also recommend it to my friends and will stay in your hotel next time.

Just got back from a lovely 10 day stay. Reading the reviews this is my opinion: is it geared up for French people? Yes but it is a French speaking country and the staff do speak English, it is not a problem at all…embrace the culture and language. Is it noisy? Yes but in a fun holiday vibe way, if it’s not for you perhaps choose an adult only hotel. Food? It did the job, it was quite typical all inclusive food, maybe eat out (very cheap to eat out) a couple of nights to break up the cycle but it was definitely acceptable for the price of the stay. Rooms are quaint, staff are helpful. If you want a 5* all inclusive experience you will have to pay for it, because it’s Morocco it doesn’t mean you get more for your money in terms of more for less. I would visit this hotel again for price, location and it is probably one of the better 3/4* hotels. I don’t agree with the negative reviews I think expectations were misaligned. If this hotel is in your budget book it! You will have a lovely, sunny holiday and maybe refresh your French. If you do get put next to the nightclub (we did) just take ear plugs. You are on holiday, chill out 😎just a travelling tip on the return journey you must have a paper boarding card to fly either print at home or the hotel kindly printed ours no problem. We asked for a late check out as had a late flight we paid 300MAD to have the room until 5pm and taxis should be no more than 200-300MAD. Book it and enjoy! passer un bon moment!
The hotel is so beautiful...(the location, decoration.. ) Sorry that the employees are so unpleasant when they ask for information, especially those of the reception. The night of 1 December we were present at the accueil pour l'enregistrement, l'accueil était si médiocre !!! Limit on les dérange de notre présence.. ( premier choc...). We have paid all inclusive... arrived in the room, the freezer.. and above all no water in the room !!! (2 eme choc) On telephone a l'accueil , we answer that it was necessary to pay the option at no anything to be able to enjoy the drinks. We will still ask for water a l'accueil because I have to take medicines and the (3e shock) we just give a small bottle of 33 cl (equivalent to 1 glass d'eau) for two people. (always well on with a look < punish you're fucking >). As regards the household of the rooms : The hotel is very clean and very clean and very clean. The main bathroom and toilet, many screws on the walls and the floor should be aspired before being washed because a lot of dirt and hair on the edges. Restaurant variété et dégustation moyenne.Il y a deux , trois serveurs du restaurant qui font des réflexions quand vous leur demandez de l'eau en plus. Spa: very lazy staff but services are a means. Conclusion: The hotel's architecture is top, the outdoor very well maintained, the halls, the grass etc... The main problem is (not all well on) the service of employees.

Reviews From Real Travelers
After a few nights in Marrakesh we were really looking forward to a chilled experience in Agadir at Sofitel Royal Bay. We were so disappointed. We were greeted by friendly staff who helped us with bags and offered us a seat while we waited for check and the Riad was stunning but it all went a bit downhill from there… We were taken to our room before being told about any of the hotel facilities or where things were and timings for the restaurants. Our room however was very outdated and dark but clean. There were so many small things that really took away from the 5* experience: we had to get maintenance to sort a buzzing sound coming from the TV; on a couple of occasions we had to ask for our room to be cleaned and our bathroom door handle fell off! It seemed that the rooms with balconies were more up to date but given that the hotel had recently been refurbished we thought we’d be okay. Throughout our 4 night stay there was also a constant smell of wet paint and service men working on plugs hanging out of the walls? The weather was dull (which cannot be helped obviously) but there was nothing to do at the hotel other than lay by the pool. The entertainment of a nighttime was good but it was the same every night so got a bit tiresome. A big shout out to Youness for his FABULOUS customer service but otherwise nobody checked in with us or seemed bothered to help or serve which was so disappointing and we’d have preferred to order at the bars ourselves. We ate at the buffet one night which was okay and the Soul restaurant was nice (we then went to different restaurants so can’t comment on the food changing). Can echo some other comments, however, and the buffet definitely needed labels as we didn’t know what we were eating. It was a really underwhelming experience and did not run smoothly at all. We expected so much more.
have just returned from this hotel with my granddaughter, I would like to thank everyone who works here for making our stay so memorable, everyone went above and beyond to make us feel so welcome, the hotel was spotless and the gardens were kept beautiful, we would return here in a heartbeat. Thank you all Angela and Isabelle, Xx 3-nov

Reviews From Real Travelers
I have stayed at this hotel previously and left great reviews. However this trip was very different and after 2 weeks I moved out to the hotel next door which is much better. The front of house staff here are delightful, particularly Karima. However staff on the pool bar/ cafe are inexperienced and need training. They also kept running out of wine. I had one pizza lunch here which was dreadful. Breakfast is good. I was allocated one of the refurbished rooms with a sea view. It looked great, although the bathroom was tiny - as I was staying solo, that didn't really matter. Some service issues with room which wasn't cleaned one day, Toiletries were not replaced and I ran out of toilet paper twice. The safety deposit box didnt work. The towels were grey and had many threads hanging off them. Sadly it is currently more of a building site that a hotel- they are working at different sites within the hotel and grounds, and it is impossible to avoid loud building work from 10am to 7pm. Rooms are being completely refurbished - doors and windows and flooring and bathrooms. Consequently lots of drilling and banging. They are also replacing the 2 lifts-- one was out of service and will be for quite some more time. The other is new but went out of service at least three times during my stay- but was quickly repaired. Waiting times for the lift were unacceptable. They were also building a large wooden structure in the gardens. Consequently, 6 days of heavy electric stapling going on ! I think they tried to drown out some of the building noise by playing loud music from 9.30 onwards. It didn't work and the music itself became very irritating ! After dark the noise from the pool bar / cafe is totally unacceptable, as they ramp up the music until 11pm or later. Twice a week they have karioke which really is horrendous- so so load. Terrible voices. Mainly French songs. It really was so bad but they refused my requests to turn the sound down- there only suggestion at 11pm was to move rooms- but that included packing and removing all my clothing , too - so hardly acceptable ! I thought they were just giving me a quiet room to sleep in , but no ! The Internet quality is very poor. It comes and goes even in reception! Do not expect to get connection in your room. Most guests form a huddle in reception to gain an Internet connection. Finally, the pricing. I paid about £40 per night for this hotel for a 2 week booking and a separate 1 week booking. I tried to book for the 4th week but was quoted over €150euros per night ! What ? No way is this even a €100 per night hotel!! In any event I cancelled and moved out after 2 weeks - that was the worst 2 weeks I have ever had in a hotel ! MY advice. Do not stay here!! Please look at photos.

This hotel is in a great location, but we didn't find our reservation at first, hoping to charge again for more and less services. After finding our reservation (it looked like it was hidden somewhere rather than on the computer), they gave us the 2 worst and worst rooms in the entire hotel. To get there, you have to borrow the maze, which took a while to find a solution. What I saw was the backyard, where the trees were not well maintained. The good news now is: the staff are very friendly and hospitable, whether it is Mr. Asemal is very friendly, or the cleaning lady is doing an excellent job with a smile. We learned at the end of our stay that part of the hotel was renovated, but when we booked, we saw pictures of the renovated rooms, but we got some rooms... This is the last time I booked this hotel.

We've just got back from a week's stay at this hotel. Some good points but also some bad points. The main negative was the service in the buffet restaurants. I don't know if the hotel is short staffed with the refurbishment coming up but the waiting staff were rushing around and no one seemed to be in charge to coordinate their efforts. Waiting staff were often on their phones or chatting to each other rather than attending the tables. Service was inconsistent. One morning we were given our hot drinks but no milk. I went to the buffet area where there were loads of staff floating around. Someone asked me if I wanted help and I asked for milk - the container was empty so he disappeared off, someone else asked me the same question and he disappeared off!! He eventually reappeared with a jug of milk for me but no one was doing anything about refilling the milk container. My husband had a similar experience with a spoon!! The cutlery containers were empty, but the staff member brought just one spoon rather than replenishing for others. There was a lovely lady at breakfast who was always friendly and she used to have our drinks set up for us prior to our getting the restaurant. Another thing which isn't important in the scheme of things but the only sliced bread was one loaf which was cut very thickly - it was nice but sometimes you just want normal bread for toasting. Me and my husband have never worked in hospitality but we sat there many a time discussing how we would do things differently. The French holidaymakers definitely got preferential treatment!! Their tables at lunch and dinner would be ”reserved”, had wine on them and the waiters were always topping up their drinks. One evening, we waited for about 10 minutes to get our glasses topped up but the staff either came no where near us or ignored our attempts to get their attention. It was only after my husband went himself to get a bottle of wine to bring back to the table, did the staff seem interested. It was similar around the pool. The service was inconsistent and it seemed you got better service only if you tipped or were French! Again there was a very nice lady at the upper pool bar and kept a good flow of drinks coming our way. We didn't like the fact there was only one place to go for lunch. We didn't like to eat inside the lunch restaurant as it felt very 'canteeny'. It was much better eating outside but lots of these tables had already been reserved for their favourites by the time we arrived. It's a shame there wasn't another alternative for lunch - sometimes you just want a wrap or sandwich etc and you don't always want to eat at lunch what will also be on offer at dinner. The al a carte restaurants were really good and the service was much better. The dinner buffet restaurant was ok but thinking about it there wasn't much choice overall. The cheese and biscuits were nice though!! Our best meal was at the Jade restaurant near the hotel and very good value for mo

Super friendly staff & employees! Location cannot be beat in Agadir. Just minutes by walking to tons of eateries, 10 minutes to the beach & shops plus banks and ATMS all over. The actual hotel is massive and nice in a very antique way and there’s a restaurant, lounge and pool on site. My only gripe is that the Wi-Fi only works in the lobby of the hotel so just know that you’ll have to be around others often if you need a good connection. There’s plenty of room and seating space on sofas in the lobby however. You just will not have much privacy if that matters for you for calls, etc. Overall good, budget-friendly stay!

The Hotel and Complex were pleasant, the grounds well kept with trees, fountains and hedges plenty of greenery. Staff very friendly and helpful. Breakfast had a nice variety but on one occasion I noticed that the Chef tried the milk and then removed it!!! I had just eaten my cereal on which I had poured the milk, so was concerned that it might have caused an issue!! Although comfortable both our room and the Hotel could use a little freshening up, splash of paint. But as we just had the B&B option we were out most of the time Two pools both well kept and with plenty of room around for relaxing and a bar for food and drinks. All in all a good time.

I was disappointed when I first entered the room. The room is not big. The single bed is about 1 meter wide. I was planning to bring my baby to sleep in a bed. Fortunately, there is a couch that can be converted into a small bed. The bathroom decoration is simple, without the feeling of a star hotel at all. But after moving in, I slowly changed my mind. Although the decoration of the room is old, it is clean and comfortable. The long bathtub can soak the whole person in. The small balcony can watch the scenery, drink tea and chat. The hotel garden is small and exquisite, the swimming pool is suitable for children to play in the water, and there are a lot of lounge chairs for sunbathing. The beach is very close, you have to cross the road and walk for 3 minutes. Breakfast is the highlight, with fresh juices and a variety of breads. The omelettes and noodles made to order are particularly delicious. Fruit, cheese, Moroccan tea, Moroccan soup are classics. After dinner, play table tennis or table football in the small garden, a great parent-child time. In short, this is an old hotel with insufficient luxury and more than comfort. It is very cost-effective!

Hotel is in a great position, 5 mins to the beach and beach front restaurants. Rashid organised a couple of trips for us which were great. Room was cleaned everyday with fresh towels, small balcony, sadly ours didn't get the sun! Pool area had plenty of sunbeds, lovely pool but cold at this time of year, we did vrave it though! Breakfast was fine, we didn't have any other meals as we like to go out and eat. We would stay again, a great place for some winter sunshine.

The hotel is great. Since I'm not picky, everything suited me. The room had an ocean view and it was worth it and made up for even minor shortcomings. Cleaning was done daily, water was changed every day. Breakfast is buffet, you won't leave hungry. There is direct access from the hotel to the beach, there are sun loungers and beach towels provided. There is a currency exchange at the reception, the rate was even more favorable than on the street. In general, in terms of price-quality ratio, I definitely recommend this hotel!
