Additionally, it's only about a 20-minute drive to Hayle Bay and around 25 minutes to St. Michael's Mount, making it an ideal base for exploring the surrounding area. My husband and I stayed for 2 nights including dinner on an organised coach trip. We were really impressed with the decor of the hotel and the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. One of the managers, seeing we were interested in wine, gave us a tour of the lovely wine cellar beneath the hotel - so much potential there - a fascinating huge space - and he also showed us the lovely Venetian Room, used for private functions. The location is perfect for exploring the sights of Cornwall and the hotel is peaceful and surrounded by woodland. We would definately recommend and would stay again, preferably for slightly longer!
