The location of the hotel is very core, next to the trump building. The hotel service is very good, with luggage, the front desk is very warm, and also introduced us to Vancouver's play places and food. After communicating with the front desk, I also changed the room with a bathtub. The overall evaluation was very good. The room was very clean. The only thing that is not very good is that the hotel can only be valet parking, 45 knives after tax, others are good.

Hotel location is good, one step away from shopping and restaurants in the city center, less than half an hour to the airport. The room is new and the bathroom is very large. The service attitude is first-class, from the front desk to the cleaning to the concierge are very polite, will stay here next time.

Reviews From Real Travelers
We decided to go to Vancouver for Christmas and new year 2023 with my family. the snow had made it extremely difficult to get to Vancouver from Atlanta Ga and to connect in Toronto. WestJet lost my wife's ticket and even though she held the ticket to the plane, they would not let her in. so we got separated. my wife found only one ticket the next day so she insisted that I go so we can be actually together on Christmas. I took all the luggage and my passport and headed on to Vancouver. after 9 hours, including a 3-hour delay on the runway, I arrived at the hotel at 3 am. I can't tell you how miserable I felt.  I was sleep deprived, hungry, and emotional as I did not have my family on Christmas Eve and ETC. Nonetheless, I was happy to arrive at the hotel, so I can take a shower and order some food. I went to check in and showed my passport and it was all good until James asked for my credit card. I took my phone out to tap for accidentals since all my cards are on my apple pay. He said I have to have the actual card if I want to sleep there tonight. I told him we have fully paid through Expedia for 9 nights and my wife has the physical cards, but she'll be here in the morning. James said it was hotel policy and I can't even be on the property anymore. i asked to speak to the manager and he yelled at me ”I am the manager”. all of a sudden two security guys show up and I was speechless. these guys did not say a word. although I felt like they felt sorry for me.  I could not believe how we got escalated this far. So after 10 minutes of trying to reason with James, he agreed to let me sleep on a two-person couch in the basement lobby. they had good couches in the main lobby. but he said I have to be under his supervision. at 6 am he woke me up and I have to get up as guests were arriving. I told him I was one of his guests and he said we'll see. The next day, the day manager said hello and heard what happened. That was literally it. they all moved on. So to be clear, we had paid in full to a Forbes 5-star hotel, and this hotel treated us like nobodies because i did not carry a physical card at the time. I understand you have policies, but whatever happened to customer service? How much damage can I do? you cant have a 25-year-old guy in a black suit run your customer service department who lacks simple principles of customer service and understands the grey in black and white policies.  Honestly, this probably falls back on corporate's lack of training and lack of recruitment of top talent. I really hope that the brand manager reads this review and does something about it.

Stayed 4 nights in room 1002, described as a deluxe suite. Very modern, generic and spacious room with an additional balcony seating area. Arrival goodies included half-bottle of wine, fruit, macaroons and welcoming letter; all were appreciated. Hotel was perfectly located for sightseeing. The room and communal areas were always kept spotless, the housekeeping team did a great job. Breakfast was hit and miss. For example, one morning 15 minutes after ordering, we were told that the kitchen had run out of what we had ordered (why it had taken the kitchen so long to realise couldn't be explained) so we re-ordered and were told that there would be another 15 minute wait as our order would go to the back of the queue, behind other guests who had arrived after we first sat down. Pretty useless service so one star deducted and we chose not to eat evening meals there. On the plus side was the concierge, Brendon Amiel. We got great recommendations from him and on one evening, he kindly arranged for a very nice car & driver to take us to our destination. Brendon is a great asset for Shangri-La and Vancouver.

This hotel is SUPERB in every way. Their location is within walking distance to one of the train stops (we didn't use, but its 5 minutes away), a short 10 minute walk to the cruise terminals/seawall. We stayed 2 days prior to an Alaskan cruise and everything was amazing. The level of service was genuine and fantastic. So often these days you can feel like someone is ”going through the motions”. That is not at all the case here. The front desk greeted us warmly upon our arrival, and was so personable. The hotel is beautiful! A historical building restored beautifully both inside and out. The lobby area is amazing with dark beautiful woods. We were upgraded from a standard room to one of the largest standard rooms, overlooking the museum directly across the street. Upgrades are amazing, but just know they aren't always possible! Food - We at breakfast both mornings in the lobby lounge. Which saying sounds odd... but it is such a cozy spot. Food and service, again were fantastic. Room Service was also delicious! Concierge was so genuinely interested in ensuring we enjoyed out time in Vancouver! I look forward to a return trip where we will likely include some time back at the Hotel Georgia and some time in Whistler as well. Thanks to all at the Hotel Georgia for making our two days such an incredible experience!

Outstanding hotel, great location, reception excellent, staff in the bar fantastic (such a rarity), housekeepers wonderful. Room was excellent both in size, cleanliness and comfort. The little bits of attention to detail (bookmarks left when they see books in your room, cable tidies left, lens cleaner left when they spot glass cases) make this hotel one of, if not the best, we have stayed in. Only negative was an experience with the concierge, we had a simple question about picking up onward transport to Victoria, at first they didn't understand the question and waffled and then when understood the question couldn't be bothered to assist. One of the concierge staff continued to stare at the screen when people walked anywhere near the desk rather than engage with guests. Would recommend this hotel and would be our first choice if returning to Vancouver.

We stayed here pre-cruise in May of 2019, this time was post-cruise. Very quick walk from Canada Place. Easy walk to Gastown (restaurants and bars). Vancouver is a big city so it's not the cleanest, and has it's share of homeless and crazies, but that was all a few blocks to the east towards Gastown; the area around the Auberge and Canada Place is very nice, and it's an easy walk along the seawall (past coffee shops and restaurants) to Stanley Park (we walked to the Aquarium, about 1.8 miles or 3km depending on your units). Close to the metro to the airport, which we used last time but this time we left too early and had to cab to the airport (around $35 Canadian). The hotel is a combination (hotel, residence, club) and the rooms are modern with all the trimmings (coffeepot, fridge, cable, stylish bathroom with boutique soaps/shampoos). Staff was very pleasant and helpful. Much nicer to stay close to the cruise terminal instead of out near the airport.

This was an amazing hotel and our room was simply breath taking. We were staying here for two nights prior to a cruise and had the most amazing views of the cruise port outside the window. The room was spacious and spotlessly clean and had a great coffee machine! The location was really good and easy to walk to anywhere we wanted to go - including to catch our cruise ship - it literally took us less than five minutes. The staff were polite, helpful and got us checked in quickly and efficiently. There is an amazing bakery across the road that is open 24/7 and we enjoyed the food from there. Would highly recommend this hotel to anyone - it is fabulous!

Paradox Hotel is one of the best hotels we have stayed at in a long time. We typically stay at Four Seasons, Fairmont’s, and other hotels similar to these types of hotels. Paradox had first class service starting at the valet (Marty), along with all individuals at the front counter. To top off our stay, we had Andrew from concierges that took great care of us, as he went above and beyond for my wife’s 40th birthday celebration. -I will be writing a person letter to Andrew, for all the amazing things he did to make our stay so memorable. It’s hard to put into words the results of our trip, as all of it was amazing, from the lounge (Megan/Morgan/Vanessa were all fantastic and were extremely friendly. To the Mansion nightclub, where everyone was fantastic and provided amazing service, as we decided to get table service for the birthday celebration. If anyone is contemplating staying at the Paradox, do not think twice about booking, you will not regret it. Also, amazing walking distance to so many amazing shops and restaurants. All-in-all, we will be back to see all the amazing people we met and we look forward to our next trip to the Paradox Hotel.

A really wonderful stay in a great room, fabulously luxurious and all the staff were amazing. The room was tastefully furnished, very comfortable and had lots of added extras in terms of drinks, snacks and treats that were made available. Really felt very special. The in room dining was very good and very reasonably priced. Highly recommend

This time at Ctrip.com, this hotel first encountered the problem of Ctrip's promotion of Chinese services and found that there was no Chinese service at all. After communicating with Ctrip, it helped to provide a temporary solution. I did not expect that there was another unpleasant episode during the check-out at the hotel. After the check-in, the front desk did not take the initiative to give me an accommodation bill. To be honest, I did n’t remember to ask, or another guest found that his bill was wrong. It was there that I remembered that I should also take a look at my bill. As a result, there was an error in printing, and I charged 44.47 more for parking. I felt wrong even though my English was not good. They immediately took back the bill and tore it off. They recalculated and printed it out, and then came back. They only returned me 35 yuan and asked why it was not returned in full. Then the front desk tore the bill back again. Then recalculate and print it out correctly. I was very unhappy with their inattentive service. The end result was that they wrote this small note to me, and apologized and explained it. To be honest, I apologize for their apology. I really regret it. I booked this hotel on Ctrip. Ctrip introduced that there is Chinese service. In fact, they did not provide any Chinese service at all. The latter mistake led me to this so-called five-star Wedgewood leisure hotel with ancient European tradition Wedgewood Hotel feels very bad, this is the only regret in my Canadian trip [naughty]

Wedgewood Hotel, after four return visits, has become our favourite place to stay in Vancouver. Its boutique size makes it feel cozy and peaceful. The elegant, tasteful interiors throughout are superbly comfortable and immaculately maintained. Every member of the staff is welcoming, friendly, professional, and each one provides impeccable service and attention. Dining in the restaurant and bar is a relaxing experience for enjoying a beautifully prepared and presented meal, or even afternoon tea after shopping or gallery browsing all so close by. We'll be back!

The airport is on the Canadian line, under the town of Yale, and the subway is just across the road. At the door of the hotel, a few minutes to the right, there is a locomotive showroom where the staff warmly introduces Vancouver's tourist attractions. After going through this showroom, walk a few more minutes and get to the beach. This is the water bus, and you can get more than four Canadian dollars to Granville Island. Stroll around the island, walk to the Vancouver Maritime Museum, then walk to the town, take bus number 7, get off at Gastown, walk from Gastown to Canada Square, watch Leap Canada, great, take the Canada Plaza, sit The Canadian line returned to the hotel in two stops. There is no need to talk about the hotel room, comfortable, clean, very comfortable to bathe, breakfast is a set meal, delicious. good service. The hotel staff is warm and courteous.

There are many places to eat nearby, Starbucks and so on are open 24 hours a day, breakfast is not a problem, I arrived early, they provided me to the room very early, so I was free to upgrade, the traffic is also very convenient, very close to the sea. It is a downtown location that is quiet. I will go there next time, sincerely like it.

A large full service hotel in the perfect location. We were taking a Disney cruise and the hotel is on the waterfront across the street from the cruise terminal. We were able to walk to almost all the shopping areas in Vancouver easily and the trip to and from the airport was fairly easy with frequent shuttles or Uber service. The rooms are large, clean and the restaurants are very nice. It has huge convention capabilities and all the services in the hotel were up and running with a friendly staff..

This was our first trip to Vancouver where we stayed at the Fairmont Pacific Rim for 10 days. When checking in, we were given, without asking, an upgrade to a room on the 17th floor with a harbour view and were given 2 generous drinks tickets. The room and bathroom were beautiful. We were greeted with chocolate, fruit and fresh & sparkling water. The beds were very comfortable. Housekeeping was excellent. We ate breakfast at the Botanist daily which was superb...Deepak was warm and spoke to us each day. All of the service staff were so friendly and efficient...special thank you to Camille, but all went above and beyond. We tried to eat dinner at the Botanist but it was closed. We really enjoyed the Lounge, staff, raw bar, and music. The modern vibe appealed to even retirees such as us! Fabulous design and art. The room and hotel were spotless. The Concierges were all excellent...I would like to especially mention Sheron & James. We really loved being able to use the hotel Mercedes, which was offered without our asking! I had a recent shoulder injury, so had to pass on the very cool bikes...next time! The pool and hot tub were wonderful after a long day of pounding the pavement. The various hotel managers were all very helpful and friendly. Lastly, we really appreciated the cars to and from the airport that the hotel arranged...the drivers were wonderful and made our arrival & departure stress free. We will definitely come back to Vancouver and will stay at the Fairmont Pacific Rim. Every day when we returned from a long day of being a tourist we said, ”We're home!!” as we were greeted by the wonderful hotel doormen. Since Vancouver is a city, we were very surprised by how friendly everyone was in general and the hotel in particular. The hotel obviously has very good management.

Had three wonderful days at the Fairmont Hotel Vancouver. This is my third time at the property and second for the gold floor. It was fantastic. The service is of the highest quality. The gold floor supervisor and associates worked very hard to ensure a seamless experience. The room was spacious, the bathroom and rainforest shower was almost as big as the room itself! Good water pressure and hot water available at any time. The king bed was luxurious and the room spotlessly clean. The turndown service restocks the bottled water in the room along with the nespresso capsules. It was very quiet at night and the breakfasts were delicious. The evening canapes were equally amazing. The location of the hotel is in walking distance of everything downtown. A good half hour walk to Stanley park, 15 minutes to Coal Harbour and Gas Town all make this an ideal spot. The wifi was fast. Nothing was too difficult for the staff. Was not able to make High Tea reservations prior to arrival and they found us a table for 4 people with very short notice. I will definitely stay here again.

The front desk service is terrible. They even deducted the credit card amount at random. This is the second time. They also said that the system is automatically operating. I am really speechless. No matter how good the hotel is, every time I check in, the experience is so bad that I don’t think it’s necessary to come again.

The Hyatt was amazing with great service from the moment we walked in the door. We were able to leave our luggage while we waited for our room so we could explore the city. They were wonderful and cleaning our dirty towels and changing beds each day, the outdoor pool and hot tub were a welcome site after long days of walking. The only downside was the lack of restaurant access. 1 restaurant is barely open and the other is so high priced and doesn't deliver to your room. Thankfully Skip the Dishes was an option. Starbucks right in the lobby, can't go wrong with that!!

Great location! The room was basic but very comfortable. It was clean and complete with the basic in room amenities. I would say the price is on the high side, but at that point you are paying for the location. Front desk staff were great and extremely helpful.
