The hotel is lovely. My room was fine except for ”rust” in the bath tub. I could not take a bath. I did not report it intitially was there for a conference and did not have time nor did I want to change rooms and was not sure there were rooms available. Boy, did the clerk at the front desk ream me when I checked out and mentioned it and wanted them to make amends. She said it was my fault I did not report it and said I called down on the second day to the front desk from my room phone and it rang and rang. She saId I could have stopped by during my conference. I said I want to speak to a manager - the manager was nice and after repeating multiple times saying it wasn't intentional - I cut her off and said I want a meal comped. She provided a $40 credit. Obviously, Mariott doesn't train their employees that the customer is right.FromPKR 44,318

This was my little guys first spring break and first vacation and that’s to all the amenities offered at this hotel I’m the BEST MOMMY EVER! The pool area was everything and more! The game room was a nice time to waste time and have fun while it was raining. The views from the lobby during breakfast was beautiful and well as the balcony view from our room on the 19th floor and impeccable! Over all 10/10 . I got room at surf and it was actually good. Me and my family saw those people cleaning up our rooms and we got a room. The service was bad when we tried to get our key. Some person got mad over one of the ladies that worked there. Anyways we got ocean view and we smelled the sea water all the way at our hotel. And the pool was really cool. We saw some friends to and made friends. And we took a look around and we drives to some souvenir shops, so it was really amazing and we saw the sunset on our second day. Ocean 22 was fantastic!!! Everyone is nice and kind and professional. My advice is to get there between 3 pm and 3:30 pm for a quicker check in. We got there at 3:30 pm. Check in is at 4pm but if you show up after 5pm, you gonna have to wait. Also you have a better chance of getting a luggage cart which are short in supply but high in demand. The market place was very convenient especially if it's storming outside. Had an issue with one of the vents but maintenance guy came and took care of it quickly and was very personable. The elevators may take a while but that's to be expected due to the building having 24 floors. They are not pushy regarding a sales pitch. There are 6 restaurants within 2 blocks so we just walked to them instead of driving. Plenty of towels and the full kitchen was great. Plenty of things to do in the area. Great for families or just couples. Pool and beach were awesome. It was the best timeshare I ever stayed at!!! My wife and I will definitely be back!!!FromPKR 37,172

Not to mention the location of the hotel, the beach is next to the sea, and the hotel itself has several swimming pools of different styles, suitable for children. The hotel is not far from the commercial area, and there are many fast food restaurants around. It is about a five-minute drive from the outlet, which is quite suitable for leisure vacation and parent-child travel. There are many parking spaces in the hotel, distributed in several different locations, but because of the high occupancy rate on the weekends, it is still a bit difficult to find parking spaces. Guests arriving at night can only stop by the hotel and move to the parking spaces the next morning. The hotel attendant will also call you to move the car. Breakfast is included in the room rate and is served at 7-10 o'clock. It is better than expected. The variety is very rich and the taste is very homely. It can basically meet the needs of people in different countries. The sea-view suite we lived on was on the 15th floor. The picture shows the view from the balcony. The building opposite is also the guest room of his house. The overall sanitary conditions and hardware configuration are good. Will choose this next time.FromPKR 17,522

We have a family of seven. When I saw the photos that you had listed on your website and location to the beach we were very excited for our stay. That quickly changed as soon as we And saw the condition of the hotel. I feel that the photos were very misleading. And the quality and cleanliness of facility were not up to standard even for cheap motel. Our rooms had a very funky mildew smell in them. There were no actual blankets (just sheets) on any of the rock hard beds. The coach had so many stains on it no one wanted to sit on it. There were stains on the sheets and we asked on 3 seperate occasions to have them changed and were told houskeeping would be up and never did. There were dirt/handprint marks on the doors and walls all over. The deadbolt on the door was broken. The bathroom door could not open all the way do to the door hitting the exhaust fan. We tried to spend as little time as possible in these filthy rooms. The elevator had rotting trim pieces and holes exposing the inside of the elevator. The photos make it look like there is a bar area... there is not this area is filled with boxes. The windows were so dirty you could barley see through them. When we got down to the pool it was GREEN! There is no spa. The hot tube was cloder than the pool. The ”lazy river ride” had no tubes. There were drainager grates that were flipped over exposing screws. The pool towel were the itchiest/crunchiest towel I have ever used. We had a great time in Myrtle Beach but your facility was a huge disappointment. The amount of money that we were charged based on the photos that were listed seemed reasonable. However after being there, I truely feel that your hotel is a scam and everyone should tryely know what they are getting when they book this dump. My children were scared to stay there. *****Update: now I have followed up via email with my issues. They responded very quickly with ”We are still unable to retrieve any details in our system. Please share the correct booking ID or phone number associated with the reservation so that we can assist you accordingly” after supplying my name, phone number, dollar amount charged, last for of my card, dates we stayed, location we stayed at, room number, booking confirmation screen shots.... i have emailed 4 times total now and have not received another reply and it has been over a week. Absolutely wonderful time! Location is perfect! Beachfront, walkable to stores, easy access to the hiway. Staff was very friendly, personable and accommodating. Parking was OK, they have 3 properties 1 building has to use Parking at the other properties...of course it was the 1 I stayed in but it's just next door or across the street. The restaurants food & drinks were great. Very clean. I checked in the night the Hurricane Ian hit Mytle Beach that morning. There was a leak in out hallway that saturated the carpet in the hallway outside our apt, Maintenance & Housekeeping were on the case before we even noticed it. We totally enjoyed our stay at the Dunes Village Resort. It was an unforgettable experience! The balcony in our room was the ”it” factor for me. We could hear and see the beauty and majesty of the Atlantic ocean. The room was very clean and comfortable! We were on the 6th floor and it was the best view! The atmosphere was peaceful and cozy! Parking was spot on, but be sure at check-in to confirm which parking area A or B you are assigned to. Be aware of time share solicitation with food coupons. They are set up in the lobby of Resort. (Just know all all the details if you opt to participate). Note, the seafood Buffets in Myrtle Beach is very expensive. Overall, as far as the Dunes Village Resort we were wowed by the elegant room, indoor amusement, and the outstanding, professional staff! We will come back in future!FromPKR 16,534

We've been staying at this Hampton for more than 12 years and always enjoyed it. This year there were too many problems to ignore. Check in was very slow, we waited for almost an hour to get checked in, which has never happened before. The elevators need some maintenance. It sounds like there is a lot of sand in the door track and not sure if they were cleaned while we were there. The room we finally got was nice, although the couch needed to be cleaned and the room could be updated. The breakfast was good, the usual Hampton meal. They have 2 areas to serve breakfast since this is a large hotel, however only one area was open so breakfast was very busy. The breakfast employees did a great job of keeping up though. The pool wasn't cleaned the first day we were there which was a Monday so you can imagine how much sand was in it after a busy weekend. Also made me wonder if the water had been tested for cleanliness. The shower area, when you come off the beach, wasn't cleaned for the 4 days we were there, so rinsing your feet off did no good. That's probably why the pools are full of sand. The boardwalk steps are being overwhelmed by the plants from the sand dunes and look to be in disrepair. But probably the most disturbing thing was the dog situation. We really feel Hilton has made a big mistake allowing dogs on all their properties. This property is not set up for dogs to do their ”business.” The only convenient grassy locations are right by the swimming pools and I do mean very close proximity. Anyone that has ever had a dog knows that no matter how well you try to pick up after a dog, many times there is ”residue” left behind, not to mention all the urninating they are doing in the grass. We sat on our balcony and watched dogs using the grass as their bathroom and then watched people walk through the grass and get in the pool. Not a good set up at all! I really hesitated reviewing this year, but felt the hotel really needs to get back to what made them the number one hotel in Myrtle Beach for years. Not sure if we will give them another chance, which is sad because we really loved this hotel!FromPKR 31,167

We had a great time and enjoyed our stay very much here at the Sand castle but there again this was not our first stay at the Sand Castle. In fact my family has used the sand castle for many years as far back as when I was a little girl . But of corse it’s changed but for the better of course over the years but I do remember coming here as a little girl . Amd since I’ve been a teenager and then adult amd have my own children , I have since Introduced my children and husband to the sand castle for the past SOLD OUT
