I booked a deluxe double room for just one night. We were very happy with our room, which was spacious, clean and well appointed. The bed was very comfortable as were the pillows. The welcome from Reception was warm and friendly. There is parking at the hotel but this is run by NCP and costs just under £10 for a 24 hour stay. Payment is via an APP so I suggest installing that on your phone before you arrive. There is not the option to pay by cash or card at the machine. The hotel itself is very charming, with individually decorated bedrooms and a host of period features and furniture in the public rooms. We were meeting my son for dinner in a nearby restaurant for dinner so cannot comment on the Dining Room and we opted out of breakfast as we had an early lunch arranged. We did enjoy some cocktails in Brazz, where the service and quality of the drinks were appreciated.

The hotel room space is still enough, it is convenient to set up from the city center, there are convenience stores nearby, and it is convenient to go to Taunton Railway Station. It is a good choice for short stays.

This is a hotel with a British character, located just across the road from Taunton Railway Station, but not noisy. Although it is a long history, the painting and protection are excellent. Breakfast is English, the weight is very large, the taste, I personally like it. But, after all, it is an old house, there is no elevator, and it is very inconvenient to have a lot of luggage. Moreover, the faucet and shower are more difficult to adjust, and the water temperature may be hot! However, the heating is really good and it is also hot. The young lady who serves here is very beautiful and patient.

Hello, we stay here with my girlfriend for the second time. Which we think it is convenient for travel May check out earlier than other hotels But for us it's not a problem With a kitchen for customers Can cook as well If there is a chance to stay again for sure

Receptionist is very friendly, my English is not good, she is also very patient to communicate with me.😘👍 But...The room is very cold, and the temperature sensing of the electric heater is obviously adjusted to be very low, which is obviously to save electricity costs, but doing so will only prevent customers from patronizing again.

What a lovely hotel, staff were extremely friendly and helpful in every way possible. Room was spotless and would definitely stay again if in the area.
