I was only one day but I will certainly come back as soon as I have less job commitments. The staff at the reception are friendly and available, previous telephone service, clear and fast, triple room, clean and with excellent views of the pool that the latter is clean and pleasant. Breakfast ok, I am not a very demanding one but my daughter is very boring in eating, she eat a great toast. What to say,at next ....

The only positive note is the possibility of checking automatically if you have to look for a room even at night for an unexpected time. For the rest. Medium rooms, broken plates and rolling furniture. Acceptable cleaning. The cold was warming instead of cooling, and it began to rain in the room from the ceiling in the night because of a waterfall. When we were contacted with the reception, we were told that they had no ability to stop raining and we were offered at a cloudy time and after I had dryed the floor, to change room by leaving us two extra keys by saying that do what we wanted. If you have no alternatives ...

We loved our stay, the staff were lovely and the view from the bar upstairs is gorgeous . The area is very nice and it’s walkable to different cafes and restaurants in the Chiaia area.
Marco the concierge was a great help and recommended a lovely restaurant and bar toe eat.

The hotel is generally average and relatively old. We booked a room with a harbor view. The area is small and the luggage is not easy to store. It does not match the picture. The restaurant on the top floor has mediocre products, but the scenery is very good.
The strange thing is that when we dined in the hotel restaurant, the meal fee was charged to the room account. The hotel used our credit card to pre-authorize the meal fee of 116 euros in the middle of the night. Later, I asked Ctrip, and Ctrip said that the hotel was worried that our credit card limit was not enough when we checked in. Really Speechless, staying in a room worth hundreds of euros for one night, the hotel is actually worried that we can't afford the meal fee of 116 euros.
If you just go to the ancient city of Pompeii, you can call a taxi back and forth at the entrance of the hotel, and wait in Pompeii for two hours at a cost of 100 Euros. It is best to ask a tour guide at the door to visit the ancient city of Pompeii. The tour guide here is very professional, and the explanation is detailed and serious. It costs 150 euros once, which is very worthwhile.From$344

Poor hygiene, a few hairs on the bed, poorly laid sheets, poor facilities, no separate shower room in the bathroom to stand in the bathtub to rain, the hotel has a long history, but personally feel it is not worth the price. not bad. Very nice hotel. Staff was very welcoming and friendly. Room was spacious and clean. Breakfast was very good. It is located a few blocks away from the Diego Maradona stadium, so it is ideal if you are attending a match. We did so, and it was so comfortable to just walk outside the stadioum and be in the comfort of your room in 5 minutes. Although it is not in the city center, it is in a calm and nice area, away from the intense hustle and bustle, which we found very important. There are several buses and train/metro nearby, so you can easily reach the city center in about 20 mins.From$179

Very nice hotel located along the water. Balconies face the waterfront with a couple chairs and a table on each balcony. Large, well-appointed rooms. Huge breakfast buffet with waitstaff available to get specialty coffee drinks made to order. Large hotel that often has conferences, so reception area can be very busy. We stayed in this hotel for 4 nights during a visit to Naples. The location is very convenient, walking distance from the old city and next to the underground and train station. The building has been very tastefully refurbished, the rooms were clean and breakfast lovely. There is an amazing roof terrace to grab a drink or dine, with beautiful plants and a wonderful view! A special mention for the staff: everybody was attentive, friendly and helpful. We had a lovely stay and will come back if we have the chance.From$142

Pros: eco & power-saving, air con in rooms, beds extremely comfortable, delicious breakfast with plenty of choice, rooms always clean and tidy, reasonable location not too far from centre Cons: very poor tap design, bathroom a little tired and could do with an upgrade, room wasn’t quite ready on time, would prefer breakfast to be a buffet & just help yourself, a smart TV would be beneficial for tourists to access Netflix etc. couldn’t find the wellness centre The cons however didn’t impact our stay enough to mark it down at all. 5 out of 5From$124

The bed is super comfortable, the breakfast is great and it's nice having a little balcony. Trip.com says the room has a kettle but it doesn't. In the winter it would be nice to have a kettle as well as slippers to walk on the cold marble floor, especially since I can't control the heat as it's controlled by the front desk. The front desk staff are very helpful with ordering taxis with flat rates so you won't get cheated.From$79

Stayed here for 5 nights and was pleasantly surprised. Great hotel, handy for the train station and metro system which we used every day to get around Naples. Had a nice modern room with a balcony. The road outside is very busy but the double glazed doors kept out all the noise. Staff couldn’t have been more helpful. Would definitely go back.From$106

Had a beautiful stay at the Excelsior. We booked the Junior Suite with Sea View and the room was gorgeous. It had a very authentic classic feel giving the true vibe that it was a majestic hotel in the past. We had a corner room that has a round view of the harbour with multiple windows in the bedroom and toilet. Pros: - Spacious room with plenty of space - Location was amazing - walked to many of the central locations and had a front view of the harbour. It was also 5 - 10 min taxi drive to the Beverello port where we were taking the NLG boat to Capri. - Breakfast terrace is beautiful and you could literally sit for some hours having breakfast over looking the view. - Staff were so friendly - Fabrizio and Francesca were so nice guiding us and booking for us our dinner. - Quiet night's sleep - zero disturbance despite being on a main street but was very quiet at night which is great. Cons: - Price was quite on the higher side and im not sure we can afford to stay here multiple nights but as we were doing 1 night we managed and it was worth it. - We asked for an iron and it was not available which is disappointing for a 5 start hotel - would be nice to have an iron being supplied in the room or offered on asking. Fantastic hotel!! We arrived last night at 22:00 and checking out this morning as we move onto Ischia. If all the negative reviewers did their research prior to booking this hotel then they would know it’s a stop off hotel rather than a long stay hotel. The taxi ride from the airport took all of 10mins and cost €20. Yes, the drive up is extremely “dodgy” and not somewhere where you would be walking alone at night. However, once inside it’s like a completely different place. Very clean, safe, modern with friendly staff. Our room was on the 14th floor and Premium, it was immaculate plus the shower/bathroom was great with a walk-in wet room. Shower pressure was bliss after travelling all day. Breakfast was fabulous, various pastries, cold meats and cheeses, fruit and yogurts. A typical Italian breakfast consists of a pastry and coffee, so I think their attempt at bacon eggs and beans etc to please that clientele was 10/10!From$136

The single room in this hotel was excellent, larger than I expected with a great waterfall shower. The wifi was fast and good as well. The breakfast was really good too, better that I'd expected - plenty of food, buffet style. The hotel is a bit of a hike away from many of the main tourist attractions, at least a 20 minute walk but it's near a subway station and convenient location for the train station too.From$155
