This hotel is an amazing retreat! Surprisingly you can't hear the noise from the racing track just nearby. The staff is very nice and attentive. The location is great if you want to be in a quiet part of the Algarve (30 minutes from Portimão). The breakfast is great. It has variety and the products are fresh and high quality. The hotel has an amazing outdoor swimming pool, unfortunately the it was too windy and we were not able to enjoy it. The Jacuzzi and the indoor swimming pool are great too! The room is as in the pictures, it is big and the decoration is modern. Overall, we recommend this hotel if you want to enjoy a quiet retreat in the Algarve!

Hotel with a carecter. Room with a view overlooking pool was a good choice. Good choice of food and staff was willing to help. The golf course was a challenge but fun. The golf shop had fairly good selection of clothing anything to fix if you forget something at home
Spent ten days at Penina, play much golf on Sir Henry Cotton. The greens where great, fairways have seen better days but are ok. The staff is very friendly and the service great. Room was small but we did not come here to stay in the room. We came to play golf and we did.

Currently still here! Beautiful hotel, so spotlessly clean, modern rooms and great facilities. The Italian Restaurant is incredible - a huge shoutout to Carlos who made the evening even better with great service and recommendations. The food is stunning. A few things we feel would make it the 5* that it is - better food facilities (buffet) , more staff is an absolute must, to clear plates serve at the bar and keep things ticking over quickly and efficiently. More information needed at check in regarding restaurant bookings, the hotel and surrounding areas. The potential of this hotel is amazing just needs a little more effort. We are having a wonderful stay, the above is not a negative- just a few things that need adjusting to make this hotel a real 5*. Thank you again! Lauren & familySOLD OUT

The room is very spacious, the environment is good, very close to the beach, it feels ridiculous that we booked a big bed room to stay for two people is normal, but the hotel said to add money, because we ordered a person, and finally was pitted 50 euros, although breakfast was sent, But I still feel uncomfortable. The room we booked is not a bed. What is the difference between living alone and living two people? In addition, the breakfast was very perfunctory and there was basically nothing to eat.From€64

The fact that not check in/out is very uncomfortable. It is not hotel, don't call hotel, it's rooms in a building. I want to know if the costs caused by this voices return. Clean and modern building. This apartment has a great lobby and the staff are friendly and welcoming. The units are also extremely clean and have a lot of closet space. The beach, restaurants and shopping center were all within a 10 minute walk from our apartment. I highly recommend it.
Just remember you don’t have the view of the ocean, but as I said the water is just around the corner from the building.From€38

Staff very friendly and always available. The rooms immaculate, comfy beds. Restaurant was excellent with a very good variety of food and not repeated in our 2 week holiday. Communal areas very bright and airy and plenty of space. Pool area was great. This was our second visit and we were a bit worried it may not be as good as before, however we would totally recommend and hope to visit again in the future.From€60

Had a great week here this July. Rooms very clean and functional. Maids did a great job every day. Loved the proximity to larger resorts whilst having the choice to stay local and have a quiet night. Pool was lovely, no hassle with loungers. Lovely grass area for the kids to play. If I would improve anything it would be the pool bar opening times, and the bar people. Didn't find them particularly friendly, where as the servers were great.From€40

Beautiful property right on Praia da Rocha. Excellent service at check-in, was given a quick tour of the lobby and room by a wonderful gentleman. Beautiful and tidy room, stunning view from balcony, though the small bathroom window opens into the corridor and at times there is an unpleasant odour from a pipe in the toilet. Breakfast was adequate and delicious, staff were helpful and nice. Overall a great place to stay!From€76

A truly great experience!! Room was comfortable and housekeeping excellent. Well placed with a view of the Marina. The highlight of each morning of my 5 night stay was the Breakfast. Fantastic choice and everything well cooked and presented. The staff, particularly the trainees, were always friendly and obliging. I couldn't fault anything about the Breakfast at all. The situation of the Hotel was ideal for me but might not suit everyone as it was sited out of the Town. A beautiful beach was adjacent to the Hotel and even out of season there were a variety of Restaurants nearby. All staff, the Receptionists, Restaurant staff and Housekeeping were outstanding, always greeted me with a smile and very helpful.From€63

The hotel is again great, nice rooms, friendly helpful staff. Maintenance is still lacking a bit, although some progress was made. Due to lack of rain/water the golf course is dry and golf is played on the roots of the grass. Last year october it was green with large dry patches, this year it is just dry except for the greens. Looks like the effect of climate change is increasing and next year October we will not come again under these conditions.From€52
